this has been the best experience so far on the island are first week,Are diving instructor was amazing and very patient and professional with my wife and kids it was there first time diving.He gave them all the attention they needed to make them feel comfortable and safe.The spot he set up for us to dive at was amazing lots of marine life and a lot of turtles.A lot of Great photos. i would definitely do this again and will recommend to everyone !!we have done a lot of adventures and tours on the island and this is one of the best by far.

Paid for a certification, called numerous times, left numerous voicemails, texts, no response. Don't book here if you expect to receive the certification you already paid for.

This was a totally awesome experience and I would totally do it again. Be warned though that you need to be in at least decent shape to carry the oxygen tank a few yards and swim out past the crashing waves at shorebreak. If you can manage that, it was totally an awesome experience. We saw a turtle, many schools of fish, a flounder, a pincher crab (don't touch...your finger can come off per my guide) and even a 4-foot barracuda! The water is SO clear. Point of feedback: the pictures took over ONE MONTH to come...I wish they would just send you the raw files the day after like some other companies and let you edit them yourself. They edited theirs but honestly they were not good edits and I had to re-edit them myself.

Ardent we got our demonstration we all geared up and headed to the beach. After entering the water one of my friends started having a panic attack and couldn't continue. The instructor came to us and said she doesn't want to go, he left her to come to us and she had to fend for herself. She couldn't get out of the water by herself so folks on the beach had to help her out and remove her tank. Thank god for them! After we were down diving my other friend noticed his tank leaking and showed the instructor but we continued on for about 15 minutes and he brought us back due to my friends tank leaking, so our dive only lasted that long. After we got back the instructor did not say a word to my friend that didn't go. Not a " Hey are you ok? Nothing. 300$ disappointment.

My boyfriend and I had a great time! I was nervous beforehand since this was my first ever dive but my nerves went away quickly when I noticed how safe and knowledgeable our guides were. 100% recommend!

Such a cool experience! I went with my 5 friends and was unsure of how this would go because none of us were scuba certified so I expected to not see much as I assumed we would have to stay in safe/shallow areas. However, there were a ton of fish, eels, and even a large sea turtle. All of the guides were super nice and down-to-earth and they clearly took your safety as a top priority. This experience has inspired me and some of my other friends to become scuba certified so I def would recommend it to anyone.

Such a fun experience! Dustin and Randy did everything to make the whole group safe and really reinforced that our safety was our priority! The dive location was a perfect spot for all the marine life! After reading a lot of different reviews from all over the internet, I was a bit weary of the experience itself, due to the timing, communication, and overall what others had experienced. They did an amazing job trying to explain everything from the skills you NEED to have to scuba and a visualization of how deep you are, and how/where you will be swimming/diving. I can say without a doubt if you have a group of friends to go with or you and your partner do the dive with Paradise Adventure Tours/ Try Scuba Diving Hawaii! Some tips for all those interested: - Arrive ON-TIME! The safety brief is crucial and you may hold your group back from timing or get left behind - the brief is about 45 minutes - the time it takes for everyone to get into the water and all settled takes about 20 min (depending on the people in your group and how fast they can get into the water and the "meeting point" - the overall experience underwater is about 45 min (also dependent on how well your group does in the water - you are NOT allowed to have anything in your hands while you dive (safety precaution during the dive) - They offer to take pictures for $35 (takes about 2 weeks for them to get to you) - they also offer body/wet suits for about $10 - It is SCARY, but once you get into the water everything becomes sound and natural more than you think. I can recall thinking to myself during the dive "i wasn't breathing" but I wasn't thinking about breathing it was just naturally happening and it almost became muscle memory and I was able to enjoy being in the water and watch all the marine life around me. - when you arrive ask if someone from the team will be in the area so that you may not have to leave your items in the car (if you are worried about someone breaking in) -Keep an eye out for the weather, call ahead before your reservation to get an idea on how the water/swell is going to be. It was definitely a highlight of my trip to Hawaii and 1000% would go again.

This company was a hidden gem for us. We thought we wouldn't be able to go scuba diving due to not getting certified in time, but this company can take non-certified people out. Very informative, walks you through everything and supplied the gear. Pricing was very very reasonable, and I would absolutely utilize this team again.

Kahe beach "electric beach" was a great dive site. Easy in and out, with an easy/moderate swim out. Lots of beautiful wild life. The turtle "honu" cleaning area was really cool. Randy was knowledgeable and a really cool instructor. Public bathroom available after about 9am.

Had an amazing experience on the dive. The site was awesome and the instruction by the team was great. Everyone went out of their way to make sure everyone was safe and that we had a great time. I can't recommend enough!

End of an era: helicopter owners' fond farewell , calvin and stacey dorn retire after 25 years as owners of paradise helicopters.

KAILUA-KONA, HI / MAY 3, 2024 / After 25 years of dedicated service and leadership, K&S Helicopters, Inc. dba Paradise Helicopters announces the retirement of its owners, Calvin “Cal” and Stacey Dorn. The transition marks the end of an era and the celebration of Paradise Helicopters' legacy as a committed, community-centric small business in Hawaii.  

Since its establishment in 1999, Paradise Helicopters has been an integral part of the aviation community in the Hawaiian Islands, renowned for its unmatched service to both its loyal customers and the broader community. With a commitment to giving back and nurturing its Paradise Helicopters ohana, the company has consistently demonstrated its dedication. Notably, Paradise Helicopters has been swift to respond to significant state events, such as providing aid during the 2018 lava eruption and providing firefighting support during the 2023 Lahaina fires plus countless others. Founded by Cal and Stacey Dorn with just one helicopter based in Hilo, Hawaii, the company has since blossomed into a multi-aircraft service offering a diverse array of tours, exclusive private charters, and commercial services spanning multiple islands. 

Cal and Stacey would like to express a heartfelt mahalo to their partners, customers and Paradise Helicopters ohana for 25 wonderful years of successful business in Hawaii as they look forward to spending more time with their four children, grandchild and friends as they enter into their retirement.

North Shore Adventure Shuttle

We will shuttle you along the various attractions of O'ahu's fabled North Shore, including the world-famous Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay, the food trucks of Shark's Cove, and the Dole Pineapple Plantation for some refreshing Dole Whip ice cream to end the day!

Koko Head Adventure

This day begins with the rigorous hike up the Koko Head Trail and continues on to the beautiful Makapu'u Lookout, lunch at some local hotspots (including Obamas shave ice spot), a visit and a swim at Halona Cove & Blowhole, and concludes at Sandy Beach!

Manoa Falls Shuttle

Our guide will drop off the guests near Manoa Falls and give them the freedom to explore the jungles of the Manoa Falls trail, not to mention the waterfalls! Afterward, we will also be visiting the Tantalus Lookout point, the sprawling Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens, and the legendary Leonard's Bakery!

Sunday Funday Booze Cruise

This weekly event is a cruise around the scenic Waikiki.  The catamaran is complete with a full crew, captain, and a DJ to ensure the party doesn't stop!  The bar onboard serves reasonably priced beer and seltzer.  Ages 18+ allowed to join.  Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
