The Avett Brothers Announce Extended US Tour Dates in 2024

Folk outfit The Avett Brothers just announced even more US tour dates this year, and they’re bringing quite a few friends along. Luke Combs, City and Colour, Sierra Ferrell, Little Feat, Iron & Wine, Melissa Etheridge, Dawes, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Trampled By Turtles, Houndmouth, and Jamestown Revival will all be performing with The Avett Brothers for select tour dates.

The next stop on the extended Avett Brothers 2024 Tour will be on April 9 through 13 for a mini-residency called The Avett Brothers At The Beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Assuming no extra dates will be added, the final stop on the tour will be on November 17 in Hollywood, Florida at Hard Rock Live.

Tickets are still widely available for the Avett Brothers 2024 Tour. For fall dates, a presale event will begin on March 20 via Ticketmaster . There will also be local presale events for select dates as well.

Avett Brothers Concert Schedule and Tour Growing up in Concord, North Carolina, and influenced by Bob Dylan, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Neil Young, brothers Scott Avett on banjos and Seth Avett on guitars formed The Avett Brothers with standup bassist Bob Crawford in 2001, and released their first studio album Country Was in 2002, as well as live concert album that same year. Their stripped down, folky sound has a maudlin but warm vibe, full of gorgeous melodies and bluegrass jingle jangle. 2003's A Carolina Jubilee followed on Ramseur Records, as well as 2004’s Mignonette, which further polished their sound with graceful harmonies. In between a relentless concert and touring schedule, the band managed to record 2006’s Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions and The Gleam EP, in addition to a second live album, between tours before releasing their 2007 album Emotionalism. This garnered a lot of critical acclaim and caught the attention of Rick Rubin, who signed the band to his American Records label and produced their follow-up 2009’s I and Love and You, expanding their sound and bringing the band to new heights. Their seventh full-length album The Carpenter, also produced by Rubin, came out in 2012, debuting at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 and earning their first Grammy nomination. The Avett Brothers latest, Magpie and the Dandelion, was released in October 2013 and is full of pop charisma and folk soul that has been enchanting ticket holders and pulling at their heartstrings with its raw energy and intimacy.

Outstanding show, but the venue....

We absolutely LOVED the Avett Brothers' New Years show in Raleigh. They really know how to bring it, with 27 total songs and tons of energy! The PNC arena, though, leaves some things to be desired. It was really cold inside (because of the ice, maybe?), the fog machines left a really strong and unpleasant smell in the air, and at the end of the show the lights were all brought on fully and suddenly in a jarring way. A little more forethought would have gone a long way!

The Avette Brothers are amazing

Best musical show we have seen in a long time. I can't wait to see them again. We loved the midnight celebration of dropping balloons.

The care and love that the Avett Brothers put into every one of their concerts is fantastic. However, the New Year’s Eve concert is always over the top special. This is my fifth show and I would dare say the best yet!! Love the energy and pure sound.

I finally made it to the Avett Bros NYE concert and it did NOT disappoint. Excellent experience, great songs, memorable balloon drop. Marcus King was fantastic and the absolute cherry on top of a sweet treat concert. Staff at stadium was helpful and friendly. Parking was well directed and smooth. The crowd was happy and peaceful. An overall feel good time. 10/10

Awesome show, go if you can!

The Avett Brothers put on a great New Year's Eye concert in their home. Loved the flow of songs throughout the setlist as well as the lighting. The celebrations as the clock struck midnight were impressive as well. As suggested above definitely go if you are able! You will not regret it.

A beautiful experience

My son, daughter, and I had a rough year. We decided to treat ourselves and get VIP tickets to our favorite band for their NYE concert. My daughter had been to this concert several times before and explained that there is an undeniable atmosphere of kindness and love in every Avett Brothers concert. She was so very right. With every song they sing, the Avett Brothers sing from a special place in their soul that permeates your heart. We made so many friends, many of which were also mothers and their sons/daughters. The Avett Brothers’ music is heartfelt, healing, fun and beautiful. I could not have thought of a better way to ring in the new year than being at this concert. I plan on going every year, as well as every Avett Brothers concert in between.

Have wanted to attend this event for the last few years and finally did. We loved it!

Only negative was that they didn’t play my favorite song of theirs (February 10) but, instead, played some “moldy oldies” (like Will The Circle Be Unbroken). …Sigh.

New Year's with the Avett Brothers

This was the third New Year's we spent with the Avett Brothers. Looking forward to spending the rest of our New Year's with them.

Have been to almost 20 Avett concerts over the last twelve years and if you are a fan this is something you have to do at least once. Somehow they take their live experience to another level, it's magic.

The Avett Brothers Detail 2024 At The Beach Destination Concert Event

Today, The Avett Brothers delivered details behind their annual destination concert event, dubbed At The Beach. The four-night oceanside experience is scheduled to occur at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive resort in Puerto Aventuras on the coast of Mexico, from April 9 through 13, 2024. In addition to the date and location of the impending coming-together, the artist lineup has also been unveiled. 

Joining the At The Beach hosts at the South of the Border event are Lord Huron, Gregory Alan Isakov, Charley Crockett, Sierra Farrell, Deer Tick, Langhorne Slim, and Heartless Bastards, who will all grace the stage over four nights. Also signing on to participate is special guest Jim Avett, father of the brothers and a guitarist in his own right. 

At The Beach is known for creating a variety of venues throughout the resort and instituting state-of-the-art production, which allows guests to enjoy their favorite artists in a tropical environment along the Caribbean coastline. Daytime and sunset shows will take place on the Beach Stage, at the same time, Main Stage acts will appear on the esteemed Concert Courtyard stage, which features high-end acoustics, convenient bar service, complimentary craft cocktails and specialty curated food stations. 

All-inclusive packages for returning At The Beach guests and eligible Avett Guild members who opt-in can be reserved during the pre-sale on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.  The Public On Sale will begin on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 1 p.m. E.T. on the event website avettsatthebeach.com .

Awesome concert with a lot of the old favorites, plus 6 songs from the new album "Closer than Together", including "Long Story Short" for the first time live. Added bonus, when Scott and Seth danced into the audience on "Ain't No Man", Scoot just happened to dance up our row! High fives for everyone!

Stephens Auditorium did an amazing job with security and entrance and exit also.

As always, The Avett Brothers are consummate professionals! Sound Quality was exceptional, Show flowed great with a mix of old favorites and new songs!

Lighting and set were minimal but worked well throughout the show and all flowed as intended.

I also find it interesting that the vibe of the crowd is always polite and into the music for the sake of the music. The mix of the crowd is generally mid 20's to mid 40's but as a fan in my 50's I've seen young families to truly elderly fans enjoying an Avett's show! These guys know how to balance great marketing and salesmanship with truly great music!

I loved the show! I'e seen them 2 dozen times and this show was if I had asked them to play my favorites!! ALL of them... What I don't love is the venue. Too much alcohol being served to the point that too many people were inebriated. I love a beer as much as the next person..but falling down drunk, crushing beer cans underfoot while most people are wearing sandals, and spilling your beer on others is out of control here (and frankly, at other music venues). Plus, at our age, we appreciate being able to sit down on occasion. Also, very hard for first timers to glimpse the Avett's. I'm 5'2" and barely saw a thing (even tho some guy who was wasted offered to pick me up!), but I have seen them enough that I was OK with that, but those next to me travelled from Connecticut to see them for the first time and with everyone standing it was impossible. But their music and singing was as top-notch as ever!!!

The Avett Brothers have expanded their upcoming US tour with a new run of fall dates in September, October, and November. The upcoming jaunt comes in support of the band’s new self-titled album , which is set for release on May 17th.

The newly announced dates include stops in Indianapolis, Tulsa, San Diego, Phoenix, St. Paul, New Orleans, and more. Melissa Etheridge, Houndmouth, and Jamestown Revival will provide support on select dates.

For the newly announced tour dates, a ticket pre-sale is set for Wednesday, March 20th (use code KEY ), with a public on-sale following on Friday, March 22nd via Ticketmaster .

Fans can look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

The Avett Brothers initially previewed their upcoming album with the release of the lead single “Love of a Girl.”

The Avett Brothers folk rock band will release its first new album in five years on May 17, 2024.

The day before that, fans can see them in concert.

They will perform music from the new self-titled album, on Thursday, May 16 , at TD Pavilion at the Mann in Philadelphia. With them will be City and Colour.

You would like, admiring the frescoes in kurskaya and komsomolskaya metro stations, marvelling at the architecture of the moscow metro, listening to your guide's commentary, essential information *, duration 1 hour 50 minutes, starting time 2:00 pm.

Set off to discover the most breathtaking stops on Moscow’s beautiful metro system on this walking tour.

Some of the stops on the Moscow metro are real masterpieces. Head underground and admire the Moscow metro with your guide.

During your guided tour, you will get to admire the Ploshchad Revolyutsii , designed by the architect Dushkin. There are no fewer than 72 sculptures in this station!

You will then explore Kurskaya station, built in 1938. The design, mosaics and slogans will immerse you in the era of Stalin. You will also see the frescoes depicting Russian victories in Komsomolskaya station.

Then, continue to one of Moscow’s must-see metro stations, Novoslobodskaya , which resembles an underground palace: marble, stained glass windows...
