I always felt a 7 day cruise is too short. ... I have done an 11 night cruise solo, and my next one is 14 days (on Beyond!). I haven't hit the point that I think a cruise has been too long. I'm just limited by my PTO, or I think I would do one of those around the world cruises.

Ask guests who are cruise veterans if shorter cruises are better, or, for example, is a 4-day cruise long enough, and many will say no. DH and I are currently booked on a 9-day cruise on Navigator in March 2012. DH's longest cruise so far was a 5-day and it had no consecutive sea days. 29. 7 Day Cruise too long for 1st time slightly reluctant cruisers?

Even given all of that, I am debating between a 7 and 4 day cruise in Dec 2011. The reasons why: We are from Seattle. The flight to Orlando is 6 hours going and 7 hours back. Plus the transfer to PC. That is a looooong way to go for a 4 day cruise. One option with the shorter cruise is that we could tack on a few days at WDW at the end.
