Chris Brown is an American R&B pop artist who quickly rose to fame in the mid-2000s after a string of successful singles such as “Run It” and “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)”, followed by his successful self-titled debut album in 2005.

Christopher Maurice Brown was born in Tappahannock, Virginia, on May 5, 1989. His interest and education in music began, like many pop singers, through his involvement in his church choir. During his teenage years, his golden-boy sensibilities waned and his interest in the emerging R&B scene in the US took hold.

What makes Chris Brown’s music notable is his wide depth of talent. To some, he is a pop music legend, with upbeat tunes and energetic lyrics that make you want to dance. I was very excited to see "Chris Brown Performing Live", as the tickets stated while purchasing. Once I was at the venue, the overall ambience was nice and seemed promising. The opening performers added hype to the night by repeating, "Who is ready for Chris Brown?" As the clock ticked away and Chris Brown never appeared, my self, my guest, and those around me grew more and more upset and antsy. Everyone was questioning where the main act, Chris Brown, was. At around 1:30 AM, it became apparent that Chris Brown was not going to show. The stage filled with talentless acts taking snapchats and acting foolish. No one cared about these people, and the crowd turned sour. At around 1:40AM, they played a Chris Brown music video, which, again, no one cared about. We were all there to see "Chris Brown Performing Life", once again, as the tickets stated. Finally, as if trying to pull wool over the attendees eyes, a fool on stage announced, "Are you all having fun? This was a Chris Brown video release party." As soon and myself and many others heard that, we had complete affirmity that Chris Brown was a no-show. Living in Orange County, it was quite a drive getting to Downtown Los Angeles, and parking wasn't cheap. I would have appreciated the knowledge of Chris Browns lack of presence as soon as they venue/ performers/ respective people knew. I am very displeased with the unprofessionalism and the offended by the act of lying to the crowd. This experience will influence whether or not I choose to purchase tickets from SongKick or the Belasco Theater again.

This concert was without a doubt one hell of a nite!!! The opening acts were awesome already. They started unbelievably punctual and created a great atmosphere. My personal favorite of them was August Alsina who really got the party going when he entered the stage with his song Numb. The main show was just awesome. Chris Brown performed both some of his older songs as well as the ones on his latest album. He showed off his great dancing skills and made every single girl in the audience go crazy by pulling up his shirt and showing us his six pack. Towards the end of the concert some of the supporting acts entered the stage and performed with him which was just so fun to watch. When the show was over I was just so sweaty and my feet and cheeks hurt from constantly dancing and smiling. I was incredibly thirsty but even for that the event organizer had an awesome solution. They gave away Coke and Coke Zero cans at the entrance FOR FREE which was just the best idea ever. I had never experienced a concert that was that organized and well-conceived before. All in all it was an awesome night and I'd recommend attending a Chris Brown concert to everybody who likes this kind of music and just wants to have a good time. As I already said it was ONE HELL IF A NITE!

Quite a few years of bad press and some very public run ins with the law have meant that Chris Brown has lost some of his credibility as an artist. It seems that many have forgotten that since the age of 16, he has provided us with some of the biggest RnB and Hip-Hop hits of the last decade.

Though chances to see him live now may be few and far between, any chance that you get, you should take it!

Seeing Chris at the Indigo2 in 2009 was one of my best concert experiences ever, hands-down. Just 19 years old at the time, he commanded the stage and the audience with a presence far wiser than his years. His expert dance moves and voice to match have drawn comparisons to some of the biggest artists such as Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake.

As he made his way though a string of hits, including ‘With You’, ‘Wall to Wall’ and ‘Run It’, the energy in the room never slumped, a testament to the quality of both his music and performance.

Some very unfortunate incidents have left Chris Brown with a much-scarred public persona. Seeing him live is a chance to see him at his best, as an artist.

It is fair to say that Chris Brown has become more well known for the negative press that has surrounded him and less so for his work as an R & B artist over the past few years. It would also be fair to say he has lost credibility as an artist and a number of his fan base has left him during the controversy.

Although, that is not to say that Chris has given up on music and still endeavours to wow crowds with his R & B/pop and international hits. Beginning his set with a barrage of stage lights and pyrotechnics, the intro to 'Beautiful People' begins to play out around the arena and the crowd cheer from below.

Perhaps acknowledging his past mistakes halfway through the set or simply adding a note of controversy, Chris performs his remix of Rihanna's 'Birthday Cake'. His set is not completely focused on hits, he picks some of his personal favourite work including '2012' and 'Biggest Fan' which receive good reaction from the audience. The biggest cheer of the night though is undoubtedly for set closer and international hit 'Turn Up The Music'.

I haven’t used this app yet but i just wanted to share my experience at Chris Brown’s concert. He’s AMAZING with all capital words. I’m not going to say he’s the best, but he is for me. Chris has something special, I love him and all he does from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could meet him someday and maybe possibly work with him and show him what I got and the same way i’m proud of him and i appreciate what he does, i would love him to see that on me. I don’t know I just feel like he’s my dad. I’ve never felt this way with any other celebrity but Chris is from another planet. He’s absolutely talented. You ALL need to go to one of his concert at least once.

i saw the show at the SAP center in San Jose.

i was VERY upset with the stage set up. i paid 900.00 for 2 tickets in the 2nd row. the stage was so high up that we could NOT see most of the show, unless he was right at our side of the stage. we could not see him dancing and had to watch most of the show on the TV screens. that is Not what i Paid for. i was very upset and disappointed.

the show itself was really good, what i could see of it . the Cirque de soleil feel was a nice touch. and he is a great performer..

i am going to ask for a refund for my tickets, i feel i was deceived and ripped off for the seats i paid for.

First Hoody Baby and supporting act. Then August Alsina. 30 min break and the great man himself appeared. The arena was electrified by this time, screaming singing dancing and that was just the crowd. Sang nearly all his popular hit records, dancers and backdrops were great. Anybody that hasn't seen Chris Brown perform before (My first concert) should go, even if you're not Team Breezy - my daughter who came with me isn't a fan but she enjoyed her night too.

Great night, hot tired and sore feet but would definitely see him again (saving up already)

Today Chris Brown , a multi-talented force in R&B, has revealed the details for his summer trek, The 11:11 Tour . Presented by Live Nation, the extensive 26-city tour will showcase two of the most promising up and coming female artists in R&B as special guests: Ayra Starr and Muni Long , joining in select cities. Kicking off the season on June 5 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Brown will make stops across North America in Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta, and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena on August 6.

The 11:11 Tour celebrates the release of Brown’s 11th studio album of the same name which secured a coveted #1 spot on the Billboard’s R&B Albums chart, further solidifying his reign in the genre. Additionally, the track “Summer Too Hot” earned a nomination at this year’s GRAMMY Awards. This trek also follows his highly successful 2023 Under The Influence European tour run which was sold out across all 27 shows.

To the United Center : The #19 United Center Express Bus runs on game days. Service begins 90 minutes prior to game time, runs every 10 minutes until 30 minutes until start of game. Board at stops starting southbound on Michigan and Randolph. Connections are made with Metra trains at Millennium Station, Ogilvie Center and Union Station. The #20 Madison Bus travels west on Madison Street, starting downtown at Wabash Street and runs every few minutes, making all stops to the United Center.

From the United Center : The #19 United Center Express and the #20 Madison buses run every few minutes, departing from the eastbound side of Madison Street. Buses make all stops.

Suites Parking

Two reserved parking passes will be valid in lots C and K. The other two reserved parking passes will be for parking in lots A, B, D, or L. Holders of these passes will be directed to A, B, D, or L lots by traffic police and parking attendants based on traffic conditions. Parking passes are good for one space each. All parking passes are mobile entry only.

For all special events, each Executive Suite Holder will receive two complimentary parking passes per event ordered. These two passes will be for reserved parking located in lots C and K. In addition, Executive Suite Holders will also receive the option to purchase four additional parking passes in lots C and K for special events.

Suite Holder parking passes are also valid for buses or limousines under specific guidelines.

Lexus Club Parking

Lexus Club Seat members have reserved parking in fenced, well-lit and clearly marked parking lots adjacent to the United Center for all Blackhawks or Bulls preseason, regular season and playoff games. All Lexus Club members who purchase tickets to other events may also purchase one preferred parking pass (in lot C or K) for such events. Details on how to obtain parking for other events are included with the fax transmission announcing each event.

Lexus Club Seat members with two to four tickets receive a complimentary, reserved parking space in a closed-in, paved lot for all Blackhawks or Bulls preseason, regular season and playoff games. Lexus Club Seat members with five seats or more will be provided with two parking passes.

What is the Uber Zone (Lot E) at the United Center? To increase and streamline the fan experience for guests who take Uber to and from the United Center, the new Uber Zone is located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street (Lot E) and will combine the three former Uber locations around the arena. Traffic leading to the three prior Uber pickup locations 1) Zone A, previously located on Wood Street & Washington Blvd. near Lot A, 2) Zone D, previously located on Monroe Street & S. Paulina Street near Lot D and 3) Zone F, previously located on Monroe Street & Seeley Ave. near Lot F will now be directed towards the one new Uber Zone in Lot E.

What is the location of the Uber Zone? The new Uber Zone at the United Center is located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Fans will enter and exit through the sidewalk entrance located on Madison Street and cars will enter the lot by turning into the Uber Zone from Madison Street. Cars will exit on Warren Blvd.

What are the hours of operation? On event days, the Uber Zone is open two hours prior to games, concerts and events and will remain open up to one hour after each event. On non-event days, the Uber Zone will be closed and Uber rides will be dropped off near the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street outside of the Uber Zone.

What is the pickup process for fans?

• Using the Uber app, fans inside the United Center will call an Uber ride.
• Guests will then head to the new Uber Zone located at the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street in front of the United Center.
• When arriving, fans will show the Uber attendant the lane number their driver is in.
• Fans will be shown the location where their Uber vehicle is located to start their next journey.

What is the dropoff process for fans? When Uber drivers arrive with guests at the United Center, they will be instructed to pull into the Uber Zone from the Madison Street side to drop off fans. Once exiting the vehicle, guests will walk out of the main entrance located on the corner of Madison Street and Wood Street. Guests can cross the street to the United Center and are encouraged to enter through the East Atrium.

What is the venue Bag Policy?

Toyota Center encourages fans to travel light and not bring bags. Bags that are 5.5” x 8.5” or smaller will be screened through an expedited visual process. Bags that are larger than 5.5” x 8.5” but smaller than 14”x14” x 6” will be scanned through additional screening process and/or x-ray machines that will likely require a longer wait. Medical bags and parenting bags are permitted and are the only bags larger than 14” x 14” x 6” that will be allowed. Toyota Center does not allow any backpacks inside the building or any bags that are shaped like a backpack. This policy is subject to change at any time. 

If you choose to bring a bag that will not allowed inside the arena, there will be lockers on site for you to rent. Binbox lockers are located between the La Branch Street entrance and Team Shop. Pricing starts at $15.00 per checked bag which is non-refundable. Debit/credit and mobile payment, such as Apple or Google Pay, are acceptable forms of payment. No cash will be accepted. Toyota Center has a “No Re-Entry” policy for all events and bags will not be accessible during the event. Bag check opens the same time as arena doors for each event and closes 60 minutes post-event. Bags remaining after bag check closes will be returned to Lost & Found. Chris Brown Sets Crypto.com Arena Ablaze With Unforgettable "11:11" Tour Finale In Los Angeles

It felt like L.A. was about to explode into an R&B party when Chris Brown ’s 11:11 tour hit the Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, August 6. As the second-to-last stop on the tour, anticipation filled the air over what Chris Brown might have up his sleeves. For the last two months, social media has been filled with hype-worthy and viral moments from the tour, whether it's the iconic meet-and-greet photos or some of the stunts he pulled on stage .

From the moment fans gathered inside the area, the energy was high. Breakthrough R&B artists Maeta and Muni Long warmed the crowd up as the opening acts. Following their performance, Chris Brown emerged and delivered a set that satisfied his fans, both old and new. With a setlist consisting of over 40 songs over two hours, Chris Brown certainly delivered on all fronts. He leaped into the classic hits that turned him into a star, as well as recent songs that we've had on consistent rotation.

Chris Brown Made A Grand Entrance

Around the 9 p.m. mark of the night, the lights dimmed and the atmosphere reached a fever pitch when the LED screen behind the stage began its countdown. As the final seconds ticked away, the arena was plunged into darkness. Then, a single, dramatic beam of light illuminated Chris Brown on a raised platform. As the platform descended, he opened with "Angel Numbers / Ten Toes." Fire and sparks erupted around the stage, and cheers roared throughout the stadium. The audience was clearly captivated from the get-go and all eyes were on Chris to see what was next.

The Four Elements

The concert was thoughtfully segmented into four thematic acts: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Each element was specifically crafted to highlight different aspects and songs of Brown’s catalog. This created a cohesive visual experience that left fans guessing which songs would appear in each act. The screen behind the stage projected stunning and immersive visuals that complemented the theme.

The first act, "Fire," ignited the night with high-energy tracks and fiery visuals. With the crowd—mostly women—screaming their hearts out and backup dancers giving it their all, the energy could quite literally be described as explosive. During this set, he performed songs such as "Heat," "Party," "New Flame," "Ayo," "Summer Too Hot," and more.

He Performed On A Floating Platform

As the concert transitioned into the "Water" act, the energy shifted to something more fluid and moody. The visuals consisted of underwater scenes that contrasted with the fiery visuals of the previous act. He leaned into the more sultry records in his catalog during the "Water" act, including “Liquor," "Privacy," "Wrist," "Wet The Bed," "Take You Down," and "Under The Influence.” During this part of the evening, he was suspended mid-air on a floating platform.

Chris and his dancers delivered tight choreography on the circular platform, impressing the audience with his highly sensual moves. In between these acts, DJ Fresh kept the crowd energized with a mix of party classics and some of Chris Brown’s deeper cuts, keeping the crowd moving from start to finish.

The Energy Was High All Night

Accompanying the third act, "Air," was atmospheric, ethereal visuals and records like "Press Me," "She Ain't You," "No Air," and "Don't Judge Me." This part of the show saw Breezy floating and dancing over the stage. Though the majority of the show saw the crowd dancing along to his infectious hits, this set offered the audience a chance to catch their breath before the finale.

Chris concluded with the "Earth" act, which grounded the night with a return to more of his upbeat tracks. For this section, where the visuals became more earth and organic, he reserved some of his biggest hits to date. Songs like " No Guidance ," "Call Me Every Day," "Sensational," and "Loyal," lit the arena up before he concluded with "Grass Ain't Greener." For roughly two hours, Chris Brown worked like a machine, maintaining high energy levels without missing a single beat of choreography.

The final act succinctly captured the evolution of his career, paying homage to his roots and celebrating his longevity with recent hits. During the final moments on stage, he took a bow and brought his two daughters, Royalty and Lovely, on stage. The 11:11 tour’s LA stop was undoubtedly a testament to Brown's artistry, longevity, charisma, and sheer talent. For those fortunate enough to attend, it was a night to remember.

Chris Brown Calls ‘Cap’ On Tank Saying He’s Better Than MJ

Chris Brown calls “cap” on Tank’s comments that he’s a better artist and musician than Michael Jackson. In Chris’ opinion, he wouldn’t be the artist he is today without Jackson’s influence. The singer jumped on Instagram Stories, addressing the situation. He shared a clip of an interview with Big Boy, who asked him about the constant comparisons: “That’s cap. I stay the hell out of it [the debate],” he began. “My personal take is that I wouldn’t even be breathing or being able to sing a song if that man didn’t exist.”

He continues: “So, I don’t know if they look at it like a Jordan and Kobe thing but I can’t even look at it, he’s lightyears ahead. There is no competing with him, hell no. I got shrines of this man hanging up at my house. Hell nah, I’m not better than Michael Jackson.” Prior to this Tank joined Stephen A. Smith on his show, where they debated about Jackson and Brown. Tank makes the startling claim, that Brown is “better than” Michael Jackson.

While Stephen A. gave him some pushback, the singer was adamant about his choice. “Chris Brown is, in fact, better than Michael Jackson.” Tank compared the pair to Magic Johnson and LeBron James. “That is the ultimate evolution of a man who can play all five positions. We talk about Chris Brown, we’re talking about the evolution of Michael Jackson.” He adds, “The evolution of Usher. The evolution of me. The evolution of Ginuwine. That is what this kid is.”

However, this isn’t the first time Tank came to Chris Brown’s defense. In 2022, during a debate with Former NFL star Ryan Clark, he pointed out that Chris has more “gifts” than Jackson . “I’ve been the only one saying this and I’ve felt alone for so long. Welcome to the fold! Singer, Dancer, writer, producer, actor, painter, clothing designer, gymnast, ninja, etc!!! Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band are coming to MetLife. What you need to know

A country music extravaganza is happening this weekend at MetLife as Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band will be performing on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The opening acts include artists Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker. The show starts 5 p.m. The parking lot opens at 1 p.m. and gates to the stadium opens at 4 p.m.

A very limited amount of tickers were still available at Ticketmaster on Wednesday. The prices range from $106 to over $400, not including fees. The majority of sections are sold out on the Tickermaster website, but resellers are selling tickers on sites such as VividSeats, SeatGeek, StubHub and other platforms.

Parking and what to know

There will be a parking fee at the concert. The price for a parking pass is $40 per standard sized vehicle and $160 per bus, RV or oversized vehicle.

Prepaid parking tickers are available for purchase on the MetLife stadium website .

The drop off area will be in the roadway between Parking Lots D and E. MetLife officials recommend using public transportation as larger crowds may result in longer than usual wait times, sometimes lasting one to two hours.

The Meadowlands Line, which is the NJ Transit train service that goes through Secaucus Junction to MetLife Stadium, runs from 2:55 p.m. to 8:47 p.m. Train service from MetLife Stadium to Secaucus Junction will operate after the show. The last train will not depart before 12:30 a.m.

Tailgating is permitted with one car allowed to take one spot. Remote controlled or tethered flying objects such as drones, model aircraft and kites are not allowed while tailgating for the concert.

Some items that are not allowed inside the stadium are flags, umbrellas, strollers or seat cushions except for those with medical needs.

MetLife operates as a cash-free stadium. Apple and Google Pay are accepted just as credit and debit cards are a valid use of payment.
