Absolutely amazing company I wouldn't…

Absolutely amazing company I wouldn't travel with anyone else. A problem had occurred whilst I was on my trip and the customer service dealt with it like a true 5 star company. I've had this problem before whilst travelling with a different company and it's not on the same level. Nowhere near. So I'll be telling all my family and friends and anyone on here travel with voyage prive you won't be disappointed

I only use 4 or 5 companies to book my vacations, and I can honestly say that most of my holidays are booked through Voyage Prive, and one other comparable competitor. The quality of accommodation and location is always great, and I am quite fussy! I am yet to find another provider that offers prices and locations on par; and I am a frequent traveller. I have been using them for circa 14 years or so now, and they will continue to be my 'go to' holiday provider.

Good but a few tweaks could make things better

Fairly good but somethings need improving for 5 stars Most correspondence is in French ! This is not useful if you are selling holidays to people in the UK. Parts of the deal shown were not exactly correct at the resort, which was disappointing. We booked our own flights as those offered were not suitable. Overall we enjoyed the holiday and resort. Although this was enhanced as we upgraded the villa from the basic one in the deal.

The staff at the hotel were all exceptional

The Hotel is four star without a view of the sea but the gardens at the back surrounding the pool are lovely. The rooms were beautiful and clean with modern bathrooms and very good housekeeping towels and linen were regularly changed. Breakfast was delicious with fresh breads, and local produce including fruit, nuts and honey, plenty of choice for hot food, scrambled eggs were particularly good. The staff at the hotel were outstanding with ALL of them being exceptionally helpful, courteous and polite, making us feel as though they really cared about our holiday and our enjoyment. All the staff deserve a mention as across the board they were all absolutely delightful from housekeeping to reception and management. Although the hotel is on a busy road, the beach is easily accessible - just across the road and down a side street. The island is worthy of exploration and Corfu old town is a delight. A boat trip is a good way to do this and the local trip from the beach with BBQ can be recommended. The bus service is easy to use although taxis are also available. All in all a very lovely experience as a first taste of Corfu.

Disingenious firm

We booked a holiday on line and didn't even think to check the return airport destination so we are taking off from Luton and returning to Gatwick. Who on earth would do this ?..we have had dozens of holidays and never had to check this. When contacted they wouldn't change flight and to cancel holiday we would have to pay a considerable fee. They do not have a cooling off period so basically either cancel and pay fee or have a fun 1.30 Train journey across London .. awful customer service and disingenious operating practices ...will not be using again and wouldn't recommend!

Amazing break away to Barcelona

Amazing break away to Barcelona. Great hotel, fabulous location, bargain price. Flights were at good times (even though being easy jet, they were, as usual, delayed!). Super easy process from start to finish. Highly recommend Voyage Privé.

We stayed in a nice hotel in a good position, good value for money at the Voyage-Prive rates. However, on arriving at reception, we were told we only had a reservation for one night, whereas we had booked and paid for two nights. Luckily the hotel was not full, and reception sorted out the mistake with Voyage-Prive.

Made a genuine booking error - costs

Made a genuine booking error, tried to get an immediate refund and the charges were very high. Opted to get a credit note, which used immediately but still incurred a smaller charge. Otherwise all okay

Great Service

VP staff were very helpful and professional. Initially, the offer on the resort we wanted was not available but when it returned they promptly advised me. After I booked the holiday, they provided regular updates. They did provide contact details for when we were on holiday but we had no reason to contact them.

Perfect holiday

Everything was perfect! Staff, service, the sun and surroundings. A complete holiday.

Split /Brac 2 centre break - perfect

Everything ran smoothly- both hotels were what we’d hoped for. Extremely good customer service levels. In particular, all our transfers were exceptional. Staying in 2 separate hotels meant that we felt more rested and that we’d done more with our time away.

Good standard of hotel, good food, nice staff.

Good standard of hotel, good food and helpful, friendly staff. The only downside was that we had to park at the nearby station carpark, and it was difficult to work out how to pay. In the end, I had to download an app to pay, which I don't like doing. Apparently NCP have a paypoint in the station, but it wasn't well signed about this in the carpark!

misleading excursions

The hotel staff have been lovely but voyage prive experience has been terrible and ruined the trip. When booking the hotel excursions were offered, we checked two as we assumed they would be at or near the hotel and nothing showed any different. When we arrived it was clear a taxi to and from where the excursions (over an hour away and nowhere near the hotel area at all) were would be €130 euros each way. Which would mean to go to both we would be paying €520 euros to go to excursions that we paid €200 for both to do. And spend more time travelling then doing them. They wouldn’t cancel or refund as we had arrived already. They didn’t seem sympathetic or helpful. The money stress and dealing with them whilst away ruined two days of the trip and we wasted money we couldn’t afford to waste. Wouldn’t ever use them again.

Impressed first-time customer

I booked with Voyage Privé for the first time and was pleasantly surprised how professional they were. Flights with two different airlines, hotel and airport transfer worked without any issues. The airport transfer to the hotel was particularly impressive as our flight was 1 1/2 hours delayed. Travel documents and additional information arrived well ahead of time and were clear and useful. Emergency contact details were also reassuring. The hotel was better than described and we would stay there again. We also received an upgrade on the room we booked, I don't know whether this was due to the hotel itself or Voyage Privé. I will definitely book with Voyage Privé again.

The proof of the pudding is when something goes wrong...

Initially attracted and used Voyage Prive due to the deals and choice of holidays. The test of a travel company is when something goes wrong. The airline cancelled our flight and Voyage Prive stepped up to sort out an extra day at our hotel. No issue at all. Attentive, helpful people sorted without any issue whilst we were on the beach! We'll be using VP again .... highly recommended...

Very poor company to deal with.

Very poor company to deal with. Booked a holiday that was fully confirmed and then they came back to say that the hotel I booked was no longer available. What they meant to say was it had gone up in price since I booked so they no longer wanted me to use that hotel, even though I could still book it on other sites. While they gave me some alternatives they were no where near the quality or the location that I booked.

Holiday was everything I could have wished for. Superb hotel

Appalling customer service

Do not use this firm. The customer service is non-existent. I have used Voyage Prive on several occasions before and have never had to use the customer service. Until this week. We booked our holiday in January and we are due to fly on Sunday yet on Wednesday we received an email (not even a phone call) to say our flight was cancelled. We had the option to book an alternative all of which had very long waits in between transfers or extra stops. Not what we paid for. We also knew this was a regular flight and was suspicious when we had notification it was cancelled as it was always a full flight. When we contacted the so called customer service they were not interested in the slightest and two days later after we made a written complaint was told to contact the airline. We had and the flight had not been cancelled. Oddly we then received an email saying the flight we were on originally was now available to book again? Instead of looking forward our holiday we have been very anxious if it will actually go ahead. Who knows when now! Im totally disgusted that no one has had the courtesy to call us never mind apologise for the inconvenience but has the audacity to tell us to contact the airline. The contract we have is between voyage prive and us. It is for voyage prive to sort out. Appalling customer service. I will never use them again!

I cannot begin to explain how bad this company is. Customer service is non existent, after contacting them in August to amend my dates of travel I am still waiting. Emails/phone calls/poor review on trustpilot to their customer service team have made no difference whatsoever. I have pleaded with this company many times to get back to me so I could make arrangements for the care of my sister who is I’ll and they have not responded. Quite simply, it’s farsical how poorly they treat you. After my latest ‘begging for someone to contact me’ I received an Emailwhich promised a response in 48 hours, that deadline went by 3 days ago and still nothing! It’s beyond unacceptable. Lesson now learned, be warned! Replies they put on trustpilot are never followed up! It’s an automated response.

Changing the flights 4 days before travel

We are due to travel on 8.10.23 to the Maldives via Dubai on Emirates. The trip has been booked since January, yet yesterday I was contacted by email to say that the flights from Manchester to Dubai has been cancelled by Emirates. They offered us plenty of different options at no extra cost. However these were all unsuitable as it either meant an extra lay over somewhere, a long lay over in Dubai or missing more than half a day of our holiday. This is where the problems arise. You ring customer services and they say reply to the email that you have had. You can’t it’s a no reply. I go onto the live chat, you say what your issue is, an advisor joins, reads it then leaves. So I rang Emirates and they said no the flights haven’t been cancelled. I then go onto voyage prive and can book the same holiday we have booked and guess what the flights are there but at an extra cost. I try to ring the 0844 8262096 number on their website, number not in use!

Aother Poor review .. TERRIBLE

Another Poor review for this poor "travel Agency". Please please don't make the same mistake we did.... Don't believe a word they tell you. Their advertising is incorrect. their customer service is non existent and you should only use if you have no intention of getting re-couse if your holiday goes wrong. Voyage privee sent us to a poor 4 star hotel that had building works bieng carried out while we were there. They never informed us. They then failed to tell us how bad and dangerous a 9.5 hr road trip was .. that was meant to take 6 hours... They could have given us the option to fly but they could not be gotten in touch with. Their watts app system doesn't work. You eventually speak to some crazy French person who just shouts at you as it isnt her problem.. Just stay well clear as they have no intention of helping you.... just taking your money.. And they JUST DON'T GET BACK TO YOU , and when they do they don't address the problem.... perfect example below... they say they have forwarded to customer servives but customerservices never call you.. just send generic emails... stay well clear if you want a personal professional service..

3 resort Thailnd holiday

We have just had a three resort holiday in Thiland booked though Vogage Prive, absolutley brillant, everything worked so well all the tranfers from both airport and back and inter hotel transfers were private, all hotels were brilliant, we had half bord in the first two and B & B in the third, I was quite nervous it would all work ok but no need it was fantastic, I would highly recommened as a holiday company.

Booked a 7 day island hopping holiday

Booked a 7 day island hopping holiday, south of Italy with them, flights and 4star hotel. The flights details given were incorrect, hotel at best low 3star, with rooms having shattered glass on window, mold in bathroom, smelling of urine the bathrooms. Sent email to them when we got to hotel no response. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful only saving grace. There is no one to speak to via phone, only through 💬 and they are not helpful . Their info stated that we would be notified of hotel 2 weeks prior not the case, info stated we would be spending couple of nights on the different islands not the case, basically misrepresented the holiday package . Will not be booking with them again . 😡

Useless customer service !!

Useless customer service !!! Don’t book with this company !!!! They totally failed their advising duties as they never mentioned that the name on the ticket should be the same as the one of my passeport . I am married therefore i ve always used my husband s name for all bookings . I found out about that American specific 1 day before the flight so I asked the hotline to add my other name . They told me « you ll figure out at the airport » and Air France told me that it was up to voyage privé to change my ticket, not to them. I called them from the airport and all I had was « we’re sorry there is nothing we can do ». End of the story . I LOST 2 400 e and my son was beyond disappointed as we had been planning the whole trip for months !!!

very kind staff and hotel was overall…

very kind staff and hotel was overall amazing! experience was tough on the last night as the electricity went out in our hotel room and we had to as a result move rooms in the middle of our time which resulted in losing our dinner reservations and missing out time :(

Worst customer service ever!

Worst customer service ever! Contact them for some troubles with my current booking. No one could help only solution offered more than one time was to cancel ( and pay £400 fee) lose deposit and book it again. Is this how you treat repeated customers. I’m speechless

Voyage Privé BELGIUM - a DISASTER!

ATTN: This only concerns the Belgium site! 1) Do not expect any reactivity when your flights are cancelled - you are told to contact the airline yourself and sort it out! The same goes for the airport transfer - if this is included in your package. One of our return flights (due to depart Sunday, 7 July) was cancelled on Friday, 5 July. I messaged Voyage Privé BE on Friday through: WhatsApp, email, AND App. I got NO ANSWER until after we arrived back in Belgium. 2) Be prepared to have NO CHECKED BAGGAGE for the return flight despite your first flight having 1 checked baggage per passenger. The answer you will receive from customer service is that you "can add checked baggage for the return flight through the airline's website". To note: The price tag for the trip was a hefty €1900 for 2 passengers, for 5 days. I fully understand that some airlines charge extra for the checked luggage, but I do not comprehend why this was booked only for one way! I will stick with Voyage Privé FRANCE, who have been absolutely brilliant so far, contacting me by phone almost a month in advance before our trip, to let me know the flights will change.

Be Prepared for Your Booking to Fall Through

We booked and paid for a stay at Coombe Abbey Hotel near Coventry which was confirmed. About a month later we were told that there was no longer a room available despite the hotel still offering rooms for the date in question on their website. We wasted time and money planning for our break and it was hugely disappointing to be told that it was no longer available.

Horrible company

Horrible company, I hope for your sake nothing goes wrong with the booking. If you ever have to contact support they will be very rude and make any excuse not to pay you any compensation even changing the listing after your complaint and trying to use as evidence against you, luckily we screenshot it but they will force you to arbitration which is a lengthy process and costs a lot of money In order to sort anything out

Playa calida club Coralia Malaga

It’s was not for me that place , it was in may and the hotel was understaffed and not all was open like the restaurants and bars , the food was average cantine the place is clean but some parts need to be refurbished ,it was all inclusive but you need to paid 5euros 25 if you want a safe ! And another things like fresh drinks and ice cream ect.. In overall I wish I knew all that first , We went quite a lot out to avoid the food and the people who taking avantages of free alcool !booze and sun is not good idea ,so in the end it was not a good price .

Booking cancelled by Company

We booked and paid for a few days away in Falmouth in September 2024. A couple of weeks later we had a phonecall to say that the booking had been cancelled due to unforeseen technical issues and they couldn't provide an alternative hotel. While we received a refund of the amount paid, the promised compensation of £40 has not been received despite contacting the company. After contacting the hotel direct, they confirmed that they did have vacancies for the days in question. After looking more closely at this company's booking terms and conditions, I would be reluctant to book a holiday through them again.

Flight cancellations.

We had problems with flight cancellations and felt the company did not make much of an effort to solve. It was only when we suggested an alternative course of action that they sorted. From then we had good rapport with Customer Services. However a great holiday.

Unacceptable experience at a 5 star hotel

Over the last three years; I booked six packages with Voyage Privé. I have generally had a good experience except for my recent travel to Mallorca where I stayed at the Hilton Galatzo hotel. The hotel was not great: 1. night facilities; it has only one staff for the night shift which means if you are arriving or departing between 23.00 and 7 a.m. - you will need to carry your own luggage up and down the stairs for around half mile. 2. noises; I was allocated a room which had pipes problems resulting in unacceptable intermittent noises every 10 to 15mins. I was baffled to learn that it was a known issue but I was nevertheless allocated the room which management was trying to convince me not to change room. 3. WiFi; there was no WiFi in the room for 5 out of the 8 days of my stay which led to a back log of personal and professional activities for me to complete after my holiday. I am liaising with ABTA as Voyage Privé has been unhelpful.

Had the potential to be a great…

Had the potential to be a great holiday. However the hotel we stayed in didn’t cater for vegetarians they didn’t know what the word meant despite using a translate app. We had half board for this totally went to waste, it wasn’t made clear to us we needed to write this as a special request. Had this been made clearer we would have done this. Voyage Privage rang the hotel and confirmed they didn’t offer vegetarian options, before booking this should have been clear and they should have known in advance to make this clear to us and others. We’ve had to contact the company 6 times whilst being on holiday due to changes in our schedule which meant clashes in our day trips which weren’t resolved. We added in a tour of pompeii but it clashed with our day to Capri so rather than let us know of the clash they cancelled our Capri day which was included in our package and kept our optional add our trip, without letting us know we noticed the Capri day had dropped off and contacted them to resolve this as it’s not ok to double pay for a trip.

*****DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**** Absolutely horrendous customer service, they aren't travel agents, they are scammers who are very quick to take your money (and lots of it). My partner booked a surprise trip for March 2025, he only told me the dates after booking and due to work commitments it's the only 2 weeks in the whole year I'm really unable to have any leave. He spoke to them the next day asking if he could amend the dates....categorically no changes to dates can be made?! First 'travel agency' I've ever heard that from, especially due to the fact we aren't travelling for another 9 months. To cancel he would be paying 50% of the booking plus the full amount for the flights and transfers. He decided the only option would be to sell the holiday on and at least he wouldn't be losing nearly £3k. To then be told he couldn't do that either as ABSOLUTELY NO AMENDMENTS can be made. Ridiculous policies! We will have to look at taking it further as it isn't an option to lose so much money. Travel companies are only allowed to charge for cancellations what it costs them at the time IF they are unable to sell the holiday on. Unfortunately people still seem to book through VP so I find it very hard to believe they wouldn't be able to sell on. Save yourself money and stress and book with a reputable travel agency.....not a mickey mouse 'agency' like Voyage Privè.

Absolutely terrible experience - honeymoon

Absolutely terrible. Booked a trip which was our honeymoon, last minute booking but that is besides the point. I booked with full payment (you can’t pay on credit card) and they took The money and then 24 hours later followed up with an email saying that the prices had gone up £450, and then didn’t reply until the next day meaning it was now £710 we had to pay this or be refunded meaning we actually couldn’t go on the holiday as we should not have to pay additional to what we already had. We have cancelled and now have no honeymoon booked.

5* from start to finish. I'd never used Voyage Prive before and was dubious about the offer. I called and spoke to a very helpful advisor. Everything was as booked. Private transfer to and from our airport/hotel. 5* hotel. Very helpful but not pushy rep. Wonderful break away. I will use again and have recommended to everyone.

We got a very good deal on our 4 star hotel in Paris and it was exactly as described. This is the second time we have used Voyage Prive and both have been excellent, resulting in us choosing wonderful hotels we would never have come across otherwise.

The room we were allocated upon arrival…

The room we were allocated upon arrival was really bad and we had to ask to moved to another room. The holiday was sold to us as all inclusive which it wasn't. We could only eat at designated times and there was nothing on offer between these times. All in all a very disappointing holiday.

Hotel (Vine Hotel

Hotel (Vine Hotel, Funchal) was wonderfull. Great facilities, room, pool/spa, food and staff. Was not happy that there was a 'connecting' flight to go to Funchal - BA, Manchester - Heathrow - Funchal (did not see this when booking. Return flight was Easy Jey, direct to FUnchal. I think this should have been more prominent when booking, as BA did not put our bag on the Heathrow - Funchal flight and we were 30 hrs without any of out possessions. BA are making it very diffuicult to claim for necessesities.

Don’t book with them

Had a booking of 6 days in Mallorca all inclusive 4stars hotel.When i arrived, the hotel was overcrowded, it was a line to have dinner, the sink from the bathroom was in the room and deteriorated. Wanted to leave immediately as it was far from what was promised. Sent messages to customer service in day 1 and day 2 to tell them i dont find the services satisfactory (with pictures), no one answered. Checked out and asked for a refund. In day 4 of my holiday said they cannot refund me as i decided to leave without them offering a solution. So in their mind, even though i had “7/7 days customer service for urgencies”, i should have waited half of my vacation in an unsatisfactory place (overcrowded as i never seen a hotel before) to get a chance of them refunding me. Don’t book with them, make the research about them before. Also, got a way nicer hotel at a cheaper price in half an hour searching through booking

Overall a wonderful holiday

Overall a wonderful holiday with great memories. Good transfers to and from airport, pick ups and collections for excursions. Great hotel with wonderful staff and amazing views and facilities. Some of the ferries were a bit old, I would have loved option to pay more to go on newer, faster, more comfortable and less crowded vessels. Also the dates of excursions got moved around so it ended up with three very long days back to back at the end of our holiday which wasn't ideal. However the holiday was very good value for money and a better price by far than other holiday makers who had booked with other providers. We would recommend and book again with voyage privie.

Avoid using Voyage Prive at all costs

We have not been on our holiday yet. It is in 2 weeks time. This holiday has been booked for over 10 months and I just thought I would check on their website the times of our flights. I was shocked to discover that part of our return flight (Paris to Manchester) the times had been changed. We had not been informed of this change. This means a transfer time waiting at the airport is now 8.30 hours instead of 2 hours. I telephoned the customer services and they said there was nothing they could do as airlines can change the times of their flights. We were not given any other option. They said, flights can’t be changed unless there is more than a 12 hour transfer time. I asked for them to pay for the airport lounge as compensation and they refused. They offered £30. What an insult. You can’t even buy a meal for this at the airport. Our first flight is a 10 hour overnight flight and my husband and I do not get any sleep on an airplane. This means we will be awake for over 24 hours. I feel this is truly unacceptable for 2 old age pensioners. On another point during the telephone conversation, I asked to speak to the supervisor or manager. I was informed that they do not speak to customers or respond to customers email. This was supposed to be a holiday of a life time for our 30th wedding anniversary and now this company has completely ruined this UPDATE 21-08-2024 I have read the response from the company below. There is absolutely not point in trying to ring their customer service department as you can not get to speak to anyone in authority and the call handler has just washed his hands of the matter. Terrible terrible service. I wish I could get my money back for the holiday and not go now

Goed georganiseerd maar hotelkamer was niet zo mooi in de realiteit

Alles was goed georganiseerd: vliegtuigtickets en hotel. Maar de foto’s op de site van de hotelkamer kwam niet overeen met de realiteit.Ze waren opgesmukt met attributen die niet aanwezig waren op onze kamer. Daarom was er toch teleurstelling bij aankomst in het hotel. Het zou beter zijn dat ze de kamers tonen zoals ze in het echt zijn.

De website is informatief, makkelijk in gebruik en het aanbod is meestal goedkoper dan aanbiedingen elders. Ook wordt er vaak net iets extra’s geboden. Dat het aanbod steeds wisselt en het aanbod slechts voor korte tijd kan worden geboekt, maakt het net wat meer bijzonder. Ook nodigt de website uit om iets te boeken waar je in eerste instantie niet aan had gedacht.

Hele fijne reisorganisatie wat mooie reizen aanbiedt. Heb een prachtiSafari reis bij hen geboekt. Alle reisdocumenten en correspondentie zijn makkelijk en overzichtelijk terug te vinden in je persoonlijke account. Wat ik ook heel fijn vond was dat ze goed bereikbaar waren zowel telefonisch als per email. Tot nu toe elke keer heel vriendelijk geholpen.

Heel leuk hotel aan supermooie korting tov andere booking sites. Een prachtige bestemming waar we anders niet zouden zijn opgekomen. Er was een probleem met de bagage op de vlucht, maar hiervoorkregen we onmiddellijk bevestiging dat we een terugbetaling van de gemaakte kosten krijgen. Top!

We hebben een reis geboekt voor 4 personen naar Dubai. Schitterend geregeld, heel duidelijke en correcte communicatie, ook snelle reactie bij vragen. Kortom, geen enkel negatief puntje op te merken. De beschrijving van de reis komt ook helemaal overeen met de werkelijkheid, dus het wordt zeker niet mooier voorgedaan dan het is. Top ! Ik blijf de promoties in het oog houden en als er nog eens een leuke promotie voor ons komt, zal ik zeker niet aarzelen om opnieuw te boeken via Voyage Privé.

Weinig nieuwigheden en upgrade van VP is nodig

Op dit moment is het goed in weinig nieuwe hotels voor te stellen en steeds met hetzelfde aanbod terug te komen. Dit in tegenstelling tot ze enkele jaren geleden begonnen zijn en toen wel een prijsbreker waren. Daarom werkten we toen ook bijna elke keer samen. Nu eerder uitzonderlijk. Ook de vluchten zijn niet meer wat ze waren. Onmogelijke uren en goedkopere vliegmaatschappijen. Er is terug werk aan de winkel.

Bij CORENDON geboekt voor € 7000,00 voor dit Privé Hotel Ultra inclusief, met uitzicht op de fraaie baai. En dan krijg je dus GEEN comfortabele kamers zoals op internet staat, maar een kamer die erg verouderd is. Gordijnen komen naar beneden, gordijnen liggenop je bed, geen schoon beddegoed, de gehele douche is smerig en verouderd, een half tafeltje met een wasbak erop, als je een toilettas hebt kun je die nergens kwijt. Alles te vies voor woorden, de roestige wc borstel te vies om aan te pakken. Dikke laag stof onder het bed.Niets is er schoon, geen opbergruimte, minibar niet aangevuld, geen flessen drinkwater op de kamer, geen glazen. Iedere avond harde muziek tot 1.uur. Gasten bestonden uit 85% uit Turken, 15 % uit Russen, een enkele Nederlander en een Engels stel. Geen watersport te zien. Het keukenpersoneel doet zijn best, en personeel ook buiten die lopen zich ellendig, en het management is veelal met zichzelf bezig. Er zijn zeker andere hotels die zorgen dat je wel uitgerust van de vakantie thuiskomt zeker daar voor dit bedrag een vreselijke grote vergissing is geweest.

Het onthaal was er uitstekend, alle nodige uitleg werd er verkregen, de kamer was piekfijn in orde et het avondmaal uitzonderlijk fijn en goed. Ook het uitzicht op la Place Stanislas tijdens de morgenmaaltijd was leuk meegenomen, een heerlijk buffet overigens

Snel geholpen

Ik had mijn tickets voor het bezoek aan het museum niet ontvangen. Ik had de partner voor de ervaring gecontacteerd met hulp van het hotel waar ik verbleef maar tevergeefs. Ik heb dan een mail naar de klantendienst van voyage privé gestuurd en was snel geholpen met de ontbrekende tickets erbij. Dus snel geholpen en met resultaat. Wij konden ons gepland bezoek laten doorgaan.

Zeer mooi hotel, culinair zeer goed. Palmanova vonden wij echter een te populistische badplaats. Negatief vonden we de 2 vluchten heen en terug met overstap: meer dan 8 u onderweg voor een vlucht die rechtstreeks amper 2 u duurt. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Uitstekende klantenservice

Reis gepland met een vriendin, maar zij kan niet meer mee. Hierdoor moest ik even bellen en een aantal dingen aanpassen. Er wordt enorm snel gereageerd op de mails en de customer service - vooral Joseph (die me in het Engels hielp) heeft me enorm veel verder geholpen. Hij legde me alles duidelijk uit, liet me talloze vragen stellen en kon ook op elke vraag reageren. Uiteraard moet ik nog op deze reis vertrekken, dus over de reis zelf kan ik nog geen review geven. Maar de klantenservice is uitstekend, met dank aan Joseph.

Mooie bestemming en uitstekende service. Het hotel was groot en voorzien van veel comfort (ruime kamers, spa-welness, 4 zwembaden, toffe bar en sympathiek personeel). Ligging aan een drukke weg, maar daar merk je in het hotel weinig van. De excursies waren stuk voor stuk geweldige ervaringen. Voor herhaling vatbaar *****

Disappointing Experience and Terrible Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Voyage Privé. On January 23, 2024, I booked a trip for my birthday, including a flight on May 12, 2024, to Dubai (DXB) with a two-day stay and a continuation flight on May 15, 2024, to Muscat. What happened next was simply unacceptable. On the night of May 14 to 15, we got up as planned at 3 a.m. to take our transfer to the airport at 4 a.m., as our flight to Muscat was scheduled to depart at 7:10 a.m. To our great shock, we were informed at the check-in counter that Voyage Privé had rescheduled our flight from May 15, 2024, to May 13, 2024. As a result, we could not board the flight to Muscat on May 15, 2024, unless we purchased a new ticket. This rescheduling is completely incomprehensible to us, as we had specifically booked a stay in Dubai from May 12 to 15. Due to this erroneous rescheduling, we had to purchase two one-way tickets to Muscat at our own expense for nearly $400 to be able to use our hotel stay there. Our replacement flight did not depart until 10:10 a.m., with a three-hour delay. Additionally, we had booked a rental car in Muscat, which we were supposed to pick up at 9:00 a.m. Due to the delay, we missed the pickup time, incurring additional costs of 249 euros. Overall, our additional costs due to this incident amount to approximately 650 $. We repeatedly called the emergency number provided by Voyage Privé, but only an answering machine responded, instructing us to contact them via WhatsApp. To this day, we have not received any response. We are on our trip and no one is getting back to us. If I hadn't taken the initiative to reach out myself, we would have been completely stranded. I strongly advise against booking with Voyage Privé. The customer service is abysmal, and the mistakes and inconveniences we experienced are unacceptable. Voyage Privé ruined our vacation and left us with significant additional costs. Very disappointing!

The most anxiety inducing holiday ever I…

The most anxiety inducing company I have ever dealt with. We booked our Honeymoon in January '24. They called it "Treasures of tge Andaman Sea". When we booked, we were unaware of who the tour company are, but on booking we were sent a confirmation PDF with more details, and the promise that the Tour Company (CEL Tours) would be in contact. They never, ever got in contact. Now that we we knew who the tour company would be, so we could search for reviews. The reviews were not good. So I contacted CEL Tours to ask if the complaints had been addressed and action taken to make the tours better. They never got back to me. So I contacted Voyage Prive who promise on their website 24/7 contact. You can only contact them 9-5 I emailed tgem, they said that they woukd get back to us in 72hrs. It took them 2 weeks to come back to us, just to say that they couldn't get an answer from CEL Tours. Then, via tge Thai Airways website, we found out the flights between Bangkok and Phuket which had been booked with Voyage Prive as Business class, were not business class but Premium Economy. Voyage Prive assured us that they were Business class. Ultimately, we flew to Thailand not knowing where we were staying, not knowing if we would be met at the airport, no contact numbers for their agent in Thailand ..... nothing. All we knew for sure was that we had flights, and even they were not the class of flights we had booked. Ultimately, we were met at the airport and we have had a great time. But the point is that we have never, ever been so underinformed before flying halfway round the world. Saying that we were stressed does not start to describe the start of our honeymoon. In reply to Arthurs platitude below - I had been in contact with the Voyage Prive customer service team prior to our trip, asking for details, trying to get to the bottom of the flights ... they're hopeless. Once they have your money, you're on your own. I've gone to ABTA to see if they can get me a partial refund, I'm also going to my credit card company as they bear equal responsibility.

Team - Language and currency should not be tied to each other. E.g. Netherlands and Dutch. There should also be an option to have Netherlands as a country and language as English.
Can’t expect customers to book a trip with an app full of bugs. I can’t even input my personal data. After inputting all my data it goes back to an all empty fields’ screen with a message “ thank you for your request “. Waste of time
