Trailco Travelling Irrigation

The two Travellers® ideally suited to golf courses, sports fields, racecourses, gardens/parks, turf areas/farms and dust control are the T-50 and T100. The T-50 Traveller® has a simple robust design for reliability and performance, and with a throw capability of 100m long by 36m wide, its compact and versatility complement any of the above applications. For a larger coverage in the same compact design however, the T-100 Traveller® is the best option, with a throw capacity of 165m long by 52m wide and features available in all respected Trailco Travellers.

You'll find a wide range of travelling irrigators, systems, parts and accessories available from your local Irrigear® Independent Experts.  What is a travelling irrigator? A travelling irrigator is used to water crops and pasture by moving a water sprinkler or nozzle along a predetermined path. The irrigator is mounted on wheels and is designed to move automatically while it applies water over a given area of land. These systems are commonly used in areas where there is no access to a permanent irrigation system, or in farms where the terrain is not suitable for other types of irrigation. Travelling irrigators can be controlled manually or automatically, and they are efficient in delivering water to crops uniformly and consistently.

Hose reel irrigation systems , available in Soft   Hose or Hard Hose configuration, consist of a single, powerful, portable sprinkler head, that applies water in a circular pattern. These movable sprinklers are installed on “travelling” carts, with a water hose attached. The carts can be positioned wherever necessary. These Irrigators are best used on irregular-shaped areas; difficult-to-reach areas and fields that cannot be otherwise irrigated because of ditches, power lines, trees, buildings, etc. They are ideal for sports grounds, community parks and gardens, pastures and a wide variety of crops and dust suppression.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of a travelling irrigator? The biggest advantage of a travelling irrigator is flexibility and portability. The machines support uniform watering which prevents crops from being either overwatered or underwatered. Automated irrigators also save on time and labour, as you can trust that a crop will receive the water it requires without human intervention. As a result, travelling irrigators provide optimised crop yield and water conservation – minimising water wastage.

There are factors that can mean  travelling irrigators are not ideal, including the coverage they are able to offer. Flexible to Meet Your Needs

Every farm and pasture is unique, and many farms and ranches have a difficult area to irrigate.  Some areas are irregular in shape or too small for most commercial irrigators. In some cases, there are more than one of these difficult areas. Our irrigators are very mobile and can be easily relocated to another areas, making all of your land productive. Vaughan Irrigators are adaptable and affordable. We offer a three-wheeled model and a four-wheeled model specifically designed for those small irregular areas. 

The four wheel unit provides extra stability for hilly terrain or situations that require precise steering to navigate rows of crops. Depending on the model, the units have three to five speeds. This allows you to control the water application to fit your needs. The cable length varies per model at 300 Ft., 600 Ft., 900 Ft. or 1200 Ft. Our irrigators operate at pressures as low as 20 psi, with a maximum of 90 psi. The water pressure operating range is 30 gpm to128 gpm or 1,800 to 7,800 gallons per hour. We have five different model with five different boom lengths varying from 10 to 45 ft. We also provide full performance  indicators .

The Bolshoi theatre is familiar to almost everyone as Russia’s grandest theatre, but what people don’t know is that there are many more bolshoi (big) sites in Moscow that are worth travelling all the way to Moscow to see. For more than 100 years, the world’s biggest bell has been hidden behind the Kremlin’s walls and inside Moscow’s main park (which is bigger than some countries!) there is the world’s largest outdoor ice-rink. Travelers that visit Moscow can stay at the Izmailovo, Europe’s biggest hotel, then eat at the largest and most historic McDonald’s in Europe and after that have fun at the largest European indoor theme park!

Ancient Past & Stunning Architecture:

As those who travel to Moscow will see, just because Moscow is a city of record-breaking, glitzy high-rises doesn’t mean that there is no history. On the famous Arbat street, time-worn, wooden storehouses and century-old churches are squashed up against grey, soviet blocks which are then towered over by 21st century office-blocks. Unlike its much younger sibling, St Petersburg, Moscow’s roots stretch way back to the 12th century. Within the walls of the Kremlin, the city’s oldest building the Cathedral of Assumption can be admired in all its 500+ years of age.

For a foreigner who has never visited Russia, Moscow is the perfect stepping stone into this great land of mystery. From the country’s best classical ballet troupes to snow-white troikas trotting through the parks, all the highlights of Russian culture can be had in Moscow without any of the complications that would be expected in other, less developed regions of Russia.

In Moscow, everything is bargain when with the current foreign exchange rates being what they are. Even caviar doesn’t seem so dear when the exchange rate is at 60rub to the dollar, so go on indulge yourself! Take your 2022 vacation in Moscow and have the best of both worlds, with European luxury at very affordable prices.

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

We had a great time both in Moscow and St Petersburg. Your travel agency was excellent in coordinating the whole trip. Everything worked like clockwork. The guides assigned to us were very nice and friendly. They had a great knowledge of their subjects. The cars and the drivers were great. The hotels were good and the itinerary was good. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. It was nice dealing with you and your company. Thank you very much for a great Russian experience. Have a great future ahead

What You Should Know Before Travelling to Moscow

Moscow is the city of golden domes, impressive architecture and some of the best museums in Europe. It’s a place which should make its way to every European travel bucket list. Due to years of closed-door policies, many may think it’s not the most visitor-friendly of places. Luckily, that’s not the case. While there are still things to improve on, it is a fun (and safe!) place to see. Here is all the information you need to be well-equipped for your adventurous journey to Moscow.

Brace yourself for a fair bit of commuting.

It might sound like a cliche, but Moscow is very big – and we mean it. An hour-long daily commute is nothing unusual for the locals. As a tourist, you will most likely be much closer to the city centre than an average Muscovite, but since many of the tourist attractions are dispersed across the city, commuting will nonetheless take up a large portion of your day. Luckily, Moscow’s public transport is excellent: Just about any point in the city centre is accessible by metro , and if you prefer on-land transport, there definitely is a tram or bus route to suit your needs. Public transport is the most effective and reliable way to travel around the city, but planning is the key.

Forget Google and download these useful apps

Yandex Transport is yet another of Moscow’s logistics essentials. It not only contains a detailed plan of the city, it also has information on all of the bus routes and gives you the real-life location of all the buses currently en route.

Remember to have your passport with you

Russians love paperwork. An official document can go a long way in Russia. This also means that you need your passport to do anything even remotely official: Exchange money, buy a train ticket, sometimes even get into a museum. The police officers in the metro stations also have a habit of asking random passengers to show their IDs, so it’s better to always have it on you. If you’re uncomfortable carrying your passport around, you can make a photocopy of the photo page ahead of time, it should be enough in most cases.

If you want to see Lenin’s corpse, plan ahead

One of Moscow’s curiosities is Lenin’s Mausoleum. It is currently run mostly by volunteers and a visit there is free, but the mausoleum is only open on some days of the week at very specific times. Make sure to double-check the opening times here before going, and make sure to be there early – on some days, the queue is very long.

Make Kremlin a day-trip

The Kremlin is Moscow’s ultimate must-see, and rightly so: It is an incredible historical monument full of treasures you can only find there. When it comes to visiting the Kremlin, there are a few different options available. Make sure to read about all the different ticket combinations ahead of time and to show up early – the queues can get rather long and certain places in the Kremlin only let visitors in at specific hours. Do visit the Kremlin though; it is most certainly worth seeing.

Free Wi-Fi is omnipresent in Moscow. Any bar, cafe or restaurant will almost certainly have it. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the metro. You don’t need to worry about the cell data (which can get really pricey in Russia if you’re using a foreign phone number). As long as your battery is charged, you can find your way or contact your family from almost anywhere.

Moscow is big and beautiful and very much worth seeing; it is also far from everything to see in this part of Russia. Moscow is surrounded by beautiful, very old towns which have witnessed the entire history of the country. They are collectively called ‘the golden circle’. There are tours available to some of the towns individually or to all of them at once. Depending on the route, the tours can take any time between a day and a week. If you have any time to spare, such a trip is a great step toward a fuller understanding of Russia.
