AFK Journey: How to know what server you’re in

In AFK Journey , there are many different servers you can create a character on . But it’s relatively easy to lose track of which servers your characters reside in, especially if you don’t know where to check.

Whether you’re recruiting new followers for your party or fighting against tough enemies , you’ll have plenty to explore while you build up your power level as the strongest magician in the realm. If you’re trying to check which server you’re playing on , however, it’ll only take a few clicks to find the information you need.

Here’s the fastest way to check which server you’re playing on in AFK Journey .

Checking your server in AFK Journey , explained

To check which server you’re playing on in AFK Journey , you need to open up your menu and head to your settings. To find your settings, first click on the three lines found in the bottom-right corner of the screen , and click on the cog icon in the menu that pops up.

This should bring up a ton of different settings for your game, including the ability to respawn, restart the game, or repair the game if you’re running into issues. The tab that you’re looking for, however, is the Others tab near the top of the screen. Once you’ve found and pressed this tab, there should be a Character Switch tab that you can select under Account Services .

From this screen, you can create a new character to level up while also taking a look at the current server you’re playing on . These servers aren’t categorized by region but are labeled by a letter and number combination. If you wish to join another server, you can create a new character and pick which global server you want to build a new story on.

Today, we are excited to announce the implementation of new cross-server social functionalities. This update is scheduled for April 11, 2024.

We would also like to unveil that a new season is coming to AFK Journey in May 2024.

New Update: Cross-Server Social Features

A considerable number of players expressed challenges interacting with friends, owing to being assigned to different servers which prevented them from adding friends or engaging across servers. This is now addressed with the implementation of new cross-server social features in today’s update.

These features include the ability to:

• Add friends from different servers;
• Participate in coop battles, proxy battles, and more collaborative fights.

Please allow us to explain the server design of AFK Journey. A small server structure was designed to ensure accessibility to great rewards no matter when the journey starts. We would like to maintain a reward system that is friendly for players new and old. Thus, leaderboards and rewards in the Arena and Dream Realm will remain server-based, and will not be cross-server.

The update is scheduled for April 11, 2024, available upon downloading a hotfix patch.

With this update, you can expect to finally be able to interact with friends way easier across servers. Soon in the future, we will also be introducing new seasons to AFK Journey that feature “dynamic servers” that will provide even better social experiences (more details in the future).

That’s right. In the following parts of the article, we would like to walk you through what a new season means in AFK Journey, what you could expect, and how it helps to maintain balance in the long term.

NEW SEASON?? What to Expect

The team has learned from the experience of developing and running multiple live service titles. One challenge has always been to create a design that remains rewarding for years to come, for players new and old.

With the introduction of each new season, we wish to offer a slew of ever-expanding new content and a game design that alleviates the pressure of progression.

Rich Lore: An Ever-expanding Tale of Esperia

First of all, each new season is set to reveal a new region of Esperia. It will present fresh new storylines, expansive map explorations, and lavish rewards.

Today, we are excited to announce that the upcoming season will be called “Song of Strife”, and is set to arrive in Esperia in May 2024. The “Song of Strife” season will reveal an expansive new region, a new adventure of Magister Merlin, and tribes who come together to face unforgiving trials.

More details will be revealed as we get closer to the start of the new season. Please follow us and subscribe on social media as our Journey Unfolds series offers more information.

Seasonal Progression: An Easy-to-manage New Dynamic

Each new season will bring new progression lines that are unique for each season.

We can understand the existing progression mechanism as “permanent progression”. Systems like artifacts, resonance levels, class equipment, hero tiers, hero-exclusive equipment, etc. will remain effective across all seasons.

Then, upon entering the new season “Song of Strife”, a new “seasonal progression” system will be introduced. This system will function in tandem with the existing permanent system. Season progression comprises a few new systems such as: seasonal resonance level, seasonal class equipment, seasonal artifacts, and potential new seasonal items.

Seasonal progression is tailored to emphasize the strategic fun of progressing through seasonal content. We are committed to providing fun new content with each new season, ensuring a dynamic and refreshing progression experience.

The design philosophy is built upon three key principles: to preserve the value of permanent progression systems, to create an easy-to-manage seasonal progression system, and to lower the entry barrier for returning newcomers. All times are opportune for AFK Journey.

Gameplay Updates: Always Fun and Rewarding

New seasons will also bring about refreshing changes to gameplay, presenting new mechanics and challenges.

For instance, the new season “Song of Strife” is set to introduce new gameplay mechanisms, as well as new content for Dream Realm, Battle Drills, Primal Lord. There will also be visual upgrades to present the new features across multiple game modes.

To build a better seasonal experience, we are exploring the integration of game modes and activities throughout the season. Whether it’s individual strategies or team challenges with friends, we will all discover more fun for years to come.

Goals & Achievements: Sound & Clear

After the launch of the new season “Song of Strife”, different servers may initiate at varying times, but will adhere to a unified global end time, eventually transitioning together into the next succeeding season.

By meticulously planning each seasonal journey and respective event schedules, we would like to offer a balanced experience for all users–whether it be a leisurely journey, a deep lore exploration, or a reward-driven path, you would all find your way in AFK Journey.

And for those who possess the drive to achieve higher, the leaderboards of each season will provide a great opportunity to showcase your valor, strength, and relentless spirit to challenge yourself!

What If I Missed Out?

Finally, we’ve got a plan for players who might miss out on a season.

Temporal Nexus, which is expected to launch at the end of each season, encapsulates the complete seasonal content, and facilitates access to the content at anytime.

This includes primary game content that may not comprise limited-time items or events.

Be it revisiting or continuing to play, the journey is yours.

AFK Journey offers players over 40 different characters. They vary in class, faction, and ability. But of course, their strengths are not equal. Therefore, creating a good team is a difficult challenge. To make it easier for you to decide, we have ranked all the heroes in our Tier List and will tell you how to reroll them in AFK Journey .

As with other Gacha titles , players can reroll characters at the very beginning of their adventure. However, this requires some preparation on your part.

AFK Journey Codes (April 2024)

As we said, AFK Journey has quite a large selection of characters. But during battles, you fight as a complete team . So, if you have one strong character and the rest don't, each battle will make it harder and harder for you to win until you hit a wall.

Therefore, when creating a team, you need to consider not only their unique abilities but also their synergies. With this in mind, we ranked all the characters in our AFK Journey Tier List:

• S Tier - As always, these are the best characters in the game.
• A Tier - In this Tier, you will find good characters who are slightly inferior in individuality to the S Tier. But with a good team, they can also shine on the battlefield.
• B Tier - These are heroes of average strength who vitally need a suitable team to be effective or at least survive in battles.

At the beginning of your adventure, you will receive a lot of free summons to get your first heroes in AFK Journey . At this stage, players can reroll using one of two methods, namely server hopping or account hopping.

AFK Journey: Server Hopping Reroll Explained

To use this method, you just need to start playing AFK Journey , go through the tutorial, and unlock the summon feature. When the Gacha roll does not get the desired result, you need to go to the settings. Then click Other and Character Switch. Finally, click the Create New Character button and select a different server.

After that, you must repeat these steps until you get the characters you need. The drawback of this method is that it may be difficult for you to play with your friends if you are on different servers.

For this method, the player will need to provide several emails. Then, use one of them to log in to AFK Journey and play until you get your free summons. If you don’t like the result of the Gacha, create a new character using your other email.

AFK Journey is the sequel to AFK Arena , an idle fantasy game from Lilith Games. Once again set in the high-fantasy world of Esperia, AFK Journey expands significantly on the lore of the previous game while retaining its core identity. As an idle roleplaying game, AFK Journey includes many aspects of traditional RPGs, such as a diverse roster of playable characters, experience and equipment systems, and an in-depth story to follow.

Traditional RPGs can sometimes be lonely, but AFK Journey allows you to make friends and form a guild to play together... if you know how. The mechanics for adding friends to your list aren't explained very well, but with a little guidance, you should have your friend list full in no time.

The first thing to be aware of is that guilds and friends are restricted to your current server . If you're on server S42 and your friend is on server S136, you're out of luck unless one of you is willing to reroll.

Your server is selected as soon as you interact with the initial screen. You'll be automatically added to the most recent server to open that hasn't reached its automatic add limit. There is no way to switch servers, so unless you and your friend start playing at almost the same time, you're going to need to jump through some hoops to play together .

While you cannot switch servers, you can create a new character and choose which server that character will be on, following these steps:

This is where you can see which server your character is on. It is listed to the right of your character portrait.

Your new character will start from the beginning of the game at level 1 again, but you'll be able to interact with your friends.

Getting to the same server as your friend is the hard part. Once you're there, it's pretty easy to add them as a friend in the game.

Now you're in the Add New Friends menu! Near the middle of the screen is a field to search for your friend by account number , and underneath that you'll find suggested friends. You can also add friends in the overworld by approaching their avatar, clicking the magnifying glass icon, and pressing the Friend button.

Your account number can be found on the bottom right of your profile. To find it, simply tap your avatar on the top left of the screen . Your account number can be found on the bottom right of the screen, with a handy copy button so you can easily paste it into a chat with your friends.

ACCOUNTING PRACTICE AND ITS EFFECT ON ACCESS TO FINANCE FROM DEVELOPMENT BANK OF ETHIOPIA; SURVEY STUDY ON THE SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN WERABE TOWN, ETHIOPIA

This study seeks to examine the accounting practice of small and medium sized enterprises and its effect on access to finance by the development bank of Ethiopia at Werabe town. It identifies the sector as the key to unlocking the economic potentials of the country. However, the sector is constrained by a number of factors which include among others minimum or poor accounting practice and difficulty in accessing credit facilities. For the achievement of the objective of the study quantitative research approach particularly survey design were used and the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ordinary least square regression. The study revealed that the majority of the studied firm has no formal accounting practice. From the sample SME 83 percent is the VAT register and maintain a VAT records. 20 percent, 32 percent, 24 percent, 53 percent, 14 percent and 47 percent of sample firm maintain bank statement, income statement, balance sheet, periodic management account, working capital management and inventory and cost control respectively. Only a few number of the maintain cash budget, sales budget and expense budget. The study also revealed that the major sources of finance available for the establishment and expansion of SMEs in Addis Ababa are personal saving, microfinance, money from friends or relative, iqub and less from banks. The result of ordinary least square regression evidences that variables such as capital, manager education level and age of the firms are the significant determinants of firms' accounting practices whereas the problems significantly associated with access to bank credits are the demand for collateral, accounting practice or formal accounting information and age of the firm.

Determinants of lease financing and its effect on the income of small and medium enterprises in case Jimma and Bench Sheko Zones

The main aim of this study was to investigate the determinants of lease financing practice and its effect on the income of SMEs by focusing on demand (SMEs) side factors that constraint SMEs from lease financing participation. Leasing is a financing in kind for production and service purpose by which a leaser provides specified capital goods on financial lease or hire purchase agreement basis to a lessee, without collateral, for a specified period of time and collects in return a certain amount of periodical payments over the specified period. Lease financing is an alternative means to finance SMEs that missed sector in Ethiopia. The study used both qualitative and quantitative method. Both primary and secondary data was used as evidence for the study. In identifying the respondents from the study population simple random sampling method was adopted. Based on this, 91 sample SMEs were drawn from total population of 1052 SMEs in the study area. Jimma and Bench Sheko zones were used to take sample respondents. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and Heckman two stages procedure model. Determinants of lease financing practices were identified by Heckman first stage procedure; whereas Heckman second stage procedure was used to evaluate the effect on income of SMEs. The study found that education level of SMEs manager, capital of SMEs, awareness about lease financing, access to working premises and access to electricity significantly and positively affected SMEs participation decision. The estimates of Heckman second stage showed income of respondents was a robust and the result of the study showed that capital of the SME was significantly increased SMEs income from lease financing project. Therefore, lease financing practice should be encouraged by government and nongovernment organizations through supporting training of SMEs’ managers, creating awareness about lease financing services, making available working premises and improving electric availability in the study area in order to increase SMEs participation in lease financing thereby improving their income level so that it can be taken as an alternative development strategy.

This thesis examines the role of financial institutions, banks and microfinance institutions, in the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The study focuses on examining the contribution of financial institutions, assessing the accessibility and affordability of products and services, and identifying ways of addressing the problems in accessing and settling loans. Nigeria, like other developing countries, has continued to grapple with the menace of poverty despite several economic policies and programmes implemented by various governments. This study was therefore undertaken to assess the impact of small and medium enterprises financing on poverty reduction in Nigeria from 1991 to 2010. Using ordinary least square (OLS) analytical technique, data from the central bank of Nigeria (CBN) statistical bulletin were obtained. Findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between small and medium enterprises financing and poverty reduction in Nigeria, whereas unemployment has a strong negative correlation with poverty in Nigeria. The purpose of this study is to examine international financial reporting standards (IFRSs) adoption in Ethiopia to explain transnational political-economic antecedents of this change and its associated consequences on the regulatory landscape of accounting.

Design/methodology/approach

Using a neo-Gramscian theory of globalization and the state, the study examines interview and document review evidence pertaining to IFRS adoption in Ethiopia by focusing on the period from 1991 to 2014.

The study illustrates that a dialectical rather than deterministic interaction between global and national forces explains IFRS adoption in Ethiopia, i.e. IFRS adoption falls within the broader scheme of universalizing regulatory institutions in the globalizing world economy. Compared to the commonly understood trends of IFRS adoption circumscribed within a pre-existing regulatory framework, this study illustrates IFRS adoption as a primary driver of major reforms to the accounting regulatory landscape.

Originality/value

This study contributes original theoretically grounded insights into the transnational political-economic rationale for IFRS adoption and consequences of the adoption on the accounting regulatory landscape.

Don’t worry if you end up with duplicate heroes; they play a crucial role in the ascension process.

Ascending a hero means upgrading them from one rank to another, like from epic to epic+ or from elite+ to epic. This process not only boosts their stats and level cap but also enhances their skills, significantly increasing their power.

This is a vital strategy for strengthening your team and advancing in the game.

In AFK Journey, equipment strategy is unique and efficient.

Instead of outfitting each hero individually, you only need one set of equipment per class.

For instance, a single tank gear set benefits all your tank heroes.

Based on the best-selling Foundation book series by world-renown author Isaac Asimov, Journey to Foundation is built from the ground up exclusively for VR. In this immersive narrative adventure game, players decide who will rise and what is lost to the fires of anarchy.

Play as Agent Ward, a spy with the Commission of Public Safety. What begins as a mission to investigate deserters in the Periphery quickly becomes a battle for control of all humanity.

Will you fight for a dying Empire, or will you join the Foundation to help rebuild what has been lost? The future is in your hands.
