On this tour, you’ll see historical and cultural sites, high-rise towers, spectacular city skyline views, and beautiful Southern mansions, to name a few attractions. Here at Roundabout Atlanta, we understand that you want to experience as much as possible, and that’s why we tend to go further than any other tour company in the state of Georgia. Rather than stick to one district, we’ll take you to Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead to expand your awareness of Atlanta’s culture and history. Our tour allows time for up to two stops, so you can explore the destinations of your choice and take some photos.

Our Atlanta City Tour has 2-3 stops. We pride ourselves on being flexible, so if you’d like to stop at a particular destination, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We’ll do our very best to accommodate you.

We can stop at the following locations: The Governor’s Mansion (Temporary closed), The Varsity (lunch stop), Krog Street Marketplace (lunch stop option) The King Center, The Carter Center, Margaret Mitchell House (Temporary closed), Atlantic Station, and Jackson Street Bridge. **Hop-off stops vary due to certain sites operating only on selected days or times.

We make a lunch stop during the tour, which is not included in the tour price. Please bring some extra money for lunch. We provide water throughout the day.

Unfortunately, hotel pickups have become challenging and time consuming on a variety of issues. The influx of weekend travelers from Thurs-Monday, film shooting, and Downtown Peachtree Street Alteration by the city of Atlanta has been terrible. So we’re now picking up at these meetup locations to save tour time.

Omar was masterful and gave details on every aspect from culture, history, art, entertainment etc. He had a large screen in his brand new amazing tour van to share shots from various movies and historical events that took place at the places he took us. The Peachtree Trolley

According to reviewers, this narrated 90-minute trolley tour offers a great introduction to the city. The sightseeing ride covers the Centennial Park District to Midtown. The trolley passes by the Georgia Aquarium , the World of Coca-Cola , the Georgia State Capitol, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Piedmont Park and other top attractions. Adult tickets start at $31 and there are discounts for students, seniors and children. The tour is not recommended for children younger than 6. Tours depart Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and on Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m.

Atlanta Adventure Tours – Stone Mountain Park Segway PT Tours

Comprising 3,200 acres about 30 minutes east of Atlanta, Stone Mountain Park offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Georgia's capital. To explore what this park has to offer, hop on a Segway and join Atlanta Adventure Tours for a guided trip. Tour-takers will cover about 5 miles, learn interesting facts and history, and have plenty of opportunities for photos. Tours last around two hours, which includes instruction time on operating the Segway and a water break. Reviewers say the guides are engaging and that the Segway ride is a great activity to do with kids since the roads are easy to navigate. Keep in mind: Participants must be at least 12 years old, have a guardian present and weigh at least 100 pounds. Tours operate March through October and are available Wednesday through Sunday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Groups are limited to six people. Prices start at $49 per person. Pop the Cork Wine Tours – Public Tour

Tourgoers love this daylong excursion to north Georgia's wine country. They remark that the owners are professional and choose a nice selection of wineries. Many years ago, and thanks to our friend George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, we made a decision to convert some of our coaches from 12 bunkers to 14 bunkers...

This move has opened the door to helping bands save money by "sharing a bus" with an opening act, or carrying a full crew and keeping the cost involved to only one bus...

With a year round rate starting at $850 / day, our 2013 to 2016 model 14 bunker coaches can really make a difference to bands and touring theatrical shows that are faced with tight budgetary restraints...

OUR DRIVERS GIVE BACK…

"GUYS, FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO OUR CLIENTS."

We knew that the economy was going to tank. We didn't know when, or how bad things would get, we just knew the bubble was going to burst.

Over the course of two weeks, we held countless phone calls with all of our drivers discussing their ideas on "how to make a difference".

They came up with many great ideas. Finally, our drivers decided that the best way to give back and make a difference was to change their overdrive structure IN FAVOR of the client.

Industry standard has always been, and still is, for a driver to charge an overdrive (equal to a days pay) after driving 450 miles.

Conor joined the Star Coaches' Team in 2015 when he made the jump from Band Wagons into entertainer coaches.

Conor quickly became our "Go To Guy" who could handle any type of tour and any type of Client.

TRAILER WEIGHT LIMITS…

Most of the time, this is not a problem, as most bands are staying within our 10,000 pound limit for GVWT (Gross Vehicle Weight, or a loaded trailer)...

By the way, for you Production Managers, our trailers weight about 4,500 pounds empty, leaving you about 5,500 pounds for the gear / merch...

Anyhow, a more frequent occurrence is that we find ourselves receiving a frantic call from our drivers at pick up stating that "this trailer is very heavy"...

So we instruct the driver to immediately weigh the full trailer, only to find that the GVWT is over 10,000 pounds... This becomes a new problem...

To battle this potential problem, we suggest making sure your packed load is less than 5,500 pounds, and if you must exceed that limit, act BEFORE the tour pick up...

Rent a box truck and a driver...

Star Coaches now has a small team of box truck drivers that can help solve the problem of a disaster at pick up...

If you can't get the gear to 5,500 pounds, let us know, and we will gladly assign one of our auxiliary drivers to your rented box truck from Hertz, Budget or UHaul...
