Do you ever get that wild hair to just go out and try something new? I decided to step out of my comfort zone and boy did I. So the staff starts out by merily greeting our group of five as we walk up to the front counter. They proceed to have us sign waivers, talk safety then send us to put on our harnesses. We then go to the harnessing area and two different employees meet us with smiles as they help put our safety gear on. I can count on one hand how many places I have been where I have been treated with such hospitality at any business. So a little out of my comfort zone I am relieved to see that their instruction course is so close to the ground. Our two guides patiently instructed as we all went through their safety training.I'm glad our guides were so helpful. Our group only did the last two lines of their full course. But the first actual zipline was one that you could run off to start. I ran somewhat out of nerves and somewhat out of masculinity. But as soon as I took off the adrenaline was hard to describe. A harness was carrying me high and fast through the air. If I had to try to tell you about it, I would have to say it was absolutely amazing. I want to try to leave the last line a suprise to you like it was to me. But to pit itt in words I would have to say it was breathetaking! I one hundred percent recommend this to anyone! Check this place out. These peope are truly outstanding and running a wonderful establishment that provides memories. I will be back!!

My view at the zipline!!

We had an amazing time ziplining today!! 10 ziplines, 4 bridges and amazing scenery, what more could one ask for?? The guides, Zack and Curtis were patient, knowledgeable, and lots of fun. This place is about 1.5 hrs from Indy and well worth the drive(Brookville, IN) There are also other cool things to do down here on the river we heard like rafting and tubing so we will back in the summer and will definitely be back to zipline again.

Came in for the night zip and haunted forest so this review is for that, but I suspect the full zip tour (10 lines, I think) is just as good. We stumbled on a card for this in Oxford, and since we were staying right down the road we came in. I mean, Sweetie's birthday, Halloween coming up, we've been talking about trying ziplining... It all came together. As we pulled up, she was nervous. I am the more adventurous, and even though it was her idea to go, when she thought about it more she was dubious. As we pulled up you could see people ziplining in the dark, and hear foghorns used to clear the route and screams from the haunted woods. None of that helped, but she was a trooper and went ahead anyway. Prices were great. Yes, it was not a full zipline tour, but for a couple of lines and the haunted forest it was $20 per person. So, a reasonable introduction to ziplining. We did the haunted woods first. Handed a dim lantern, we climbed a trail we could barely see, and were startled, usually mildly, by costumed monsters at various points. It's not some super high-tech screamfest, but it's probably a bit much for little kids. We were laughing most of the time, but there were a couple of places they caught us off guard, and it was fun overall and well worth $5 (the price just for the haunted trail.) Next it was more scary stuff. Actually, I had a blast, but then I like this kind of stuff and rockclimb occasionally so it was more familiar to me. I figured there would be several lines, and there were two. The issue was that Sweetie thought there would be one, so after the first zip, she thought we were done. Now, we were up on a platform with no way down but the cable, so she was not thrilled. But she sucked it up, and the crew was very calming and helpful. Anyway, let's back up. First, we got a little tutorial, and a run down a short low line. Everyone was patient, and things are very safe. It's a family affair, so they built everything and tested it out, and the whole family is involved, either on the lines, at the office, or in the haunting area. Next we climbed the hill and did a zip down to the platform by the office. It was quick, and you're moving fast (about 20mph.) Try to remember the basic instructions about braking, etc. I went first on both those lines, and when Sweetie came onto the platform she was having fun, but was not thrilled about doing it again. They set her up to go first, shortening her stay up there. She made it down safely. This line seemed longer, and bouncier, and you swing around a bit till they wheel out some steps to get you down. I enjoyed it; Sweetie took a few minutes to recover afterward. Again, everyone was superfriendly and helpful. I'd do it again. I don't know if she would. Maybe after a year or so, when she's forgotten some of the details. And probably during the day.

The stars aligned and and our family all had a free Sunday afternoon, so I started hunting for something everyone would enjoy. (Kids ages: 21, 19,18) We had a blast! The staff was very friendly and supportive of my husband's and my fear of heights which helped up overcome and really embrace the experience. Since we went in March, the trees were bare, but that kind of made the experience even more fun as you could really see everything "zip" right by you.

Excellent for beginners. They take as much time as you need. They follow strict safety guidelines. It is great fun!

Ok first I like to say I had so much more fun then I thought I would when driving there. This place is so nice and the view is aweaome. Only doing 2 lines my first time I was scared but with the help and staff training and vary high level of patience. I was able to do have fun with my family and zip line. I.would really say this is rocks and for beginners this is a place to start. Drove over 1.5 hr but worth it. Oh yeah try the pizza across the street . Awesome food. Can't wait to go back and zip line again

This place is awesome. The guides are very helpful. I would highly recommend it to any of my friends and family. They have every kind of line you can imagine. Short lines, long lines, fast and slower lines. All of the workers were super friendly and willing to answer any kind of question you would have. Highly recommend visiting here and would definitely go again.

This is not for the adventerous but more for families with young children. The lines are short and most are low. We were disappointed because of just that. We booked because it had 10 lines and thought for $70 it should be fun but found only a couple runs and 2 of the 4 bridges were actually long enough to be fun. Sorry..... ):

Loved every second of it! My fiancée and I made a day date out of it. Perfect for just about any occasion. Super friendly, enthusiastic, and highly trained staff! Highly recommend going and checking out Skyward Adventures.

Skyward Adventures – Zip Line in Brookeville, Indiana

Skyward Adventures offers zip line tours that feature up to 10 zip lines and 4 suspension bridges. The full 10 line tour includes up to 2.5 hours of time on the course. If your time is limited, a shorter tour that includes 1 hour on a 250 foot zip is available. Skyward Adventures has a 1 hour night zip tour for rider’s wishing to soar trough the Indiana tree-tops at night under the stars.

Participants must weigh less than 275 lbs and be at least 8 years of age. Groups are welcome and group discounts are available.
