Enrique Bunbury started his singing and songwriting career in 1986, as a member of the legendary Spanish rock band Héroes del Silencio. The group was together for ten years, during which they recorded four studio albums that redefined Spanish rock. Héroes created their own signature style by combining national and international influences while touring Europe, Latin America and North America. With Héroes del Silencio, Bunbury worked two fundamental aspects which later helped him to define his solo career. The first was the mixture of influences without losing his Spanish-Latino identity and the second: his creative philosophy that recognizes change as an engine.

On December 11, 2020, just seven months after the release of “Posible”, Bunbury published his eleventh studio album, “Curso de Levitación Intensivo”, for which, in addition to working with Los Santos Inocentes, he also had experimental jazz musicians. The sound transition from “Possible” to “Curso de Levitación Intensivo” is not radical: the electronics are still key, although, in the atmosphere of the album, there is a greater organic contrast. In addition, as a novelty, we find  an  inclination  towards  Afrobeat  and  jazz  patternsin  the rhythmic  bases.The  artist  has made  it  clear  that  he  is “leaving a contemporary stage, going to a new place. There are things in”Curso de Levitación Intensivo” that point that way”. On the other hand, the literary and poetic discourse is satirical, fierce and elegant. The ten songs that make up this work  spring  from  a  “dysfunctional  zoo”  and  the  composer  could  not  be  more  explicit.  The  hypnotic  ‘El Día  de Mañana’, the energetic “El Precio que Hay que Pagar”, the beautiful and raw “Malditos Charlatanes”or the atomic ‘Tenías razón en todo’are some of the songs that make up this magnificent album.

Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Bunbury has announced a return to North America in 2022 to promote his latest album 'Curso de Levitación Intensivo' . His 35 Años Tour takes place in May/June making notable stops in Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Also during the year, the Latin Grammy winner will be touring extensively across Mexico and Spain.

Bunbury released his 13th studio album 'Curso de Levitación Intensivo' on December 11th, 2020 via Warner Music Spain. The new album follows up 2020's 'Posible' and 2017's 'Expectativas' which reached #1 in his home country of Spain. Also in 2017, the singer launched his Ex Tour 17-19 which stretched into 2019 and visited Europe, Mexico and North America. As the co-founder of Héroes del Silencio, the rock band released their fourth and final studio album 'Avalancha' back in 1995.

Probably one of the most sophisticatedly chilled out performers that I’ve ever seen, Enrique Bunbury absolutely brought the house down from beginning to end with his Spanish and Latin rock music. The almost 50 years old artist has more energy and stage presence than I’ve seen from many artists half his age, and he commands the audiences attention from the moment he steps on the stage.

Bunbury has an incredible voice, and the way that he manipulates its rocky sound is original and refreshing. His dance moves are also extremely entertaining as he interacts with his band members, and shouts at the audience to join in. When he first walked on stage, the audience was a see of bright lights radiating from smart phones taking videos, which usually bothers me throughout a performance, so it was great when Bunbury encouraged everyone to put them away saying ‘are you here to see me, or to tell the internet you’re seeing me’, which was cool! He opened the show with some tracks from Palosanto, the newest album, and sang a great combination of tracks from his newer and older work. The famous songs had everyone dancing with their arms in the air, which he really seemed to appreciate, and played up to the audience, extending and repeating choruses of the most popular songs.

After proving his worth with rock outfit Héroes del Silencio, Spanish singer/songwriter Enrique Bunbury had a ready made fanbase for his solo releases and tours. There is no wonder as he now approaches his 50th birthday he can feel confident within his accumulated discography and the success his career has achieved.

Despite being one of Spain's most internationally recognised artists, he is an incredibly grounded live performer who chats to the audience as if they were good friends. Tonight it is a showcase of his eight solo releases, performing just one cover from his previous band although it is a special one indeed. His acoustic take on 'Deshacer el mundo' has the whole room entranced and they cheer wildly at its closure to which Enrique thanks them once again. He is a performer who understands the importance of sincerity and sophistication in the modern music and pulls it off fantastically to deliver a really genuine live performance.

Enrique was able to bring the best of his two worlds (Heroes del Silencio and his solo career) in a very intense and memorable two hour concert...

He connected with the audience and felt as if he was giving all that he has, his energy, his music!!

The show in Brussels has been cancelled for an unknown reason. So I did not have a great time seeing Enrique Bunbury. No memorable or epic moments. But I would still like to know why the concert has been cancelled. Thanks!

The singer-songwriter sensation will perform inside Reno’s acclaimed Grand Theatre at 8 p.m. as part of his “TOUR 2022 – 35 AÑOS,” in a rollicking experience that will celebrate his 35-year career. 

Tickets for Enrique Bunbury at GSR go on sale Friday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. and start at $29.50, plus additional taxes and fees. Enrique Bunbury , the emblematic and enduring Spanish classic rocker, will tour the United States this spring in support of his recent MTV Unplugged album.

Bunbury will kick off the tour in Los Angeles, his current home town, on May 19. More dates in California and Texas immediately follow. In June, Bunbury will play two consecutive nights at both Chicago’s House of Blues and Irving Plaza in Manhattan.

El Libro de las Mutaciones , Bunbury’s MTV Unplugged album, was released in late 2015. Draco Rosa , Carla Morrison , Zoé vocalist León Larregui and Pepe Aguilar joined him for the recording in Mexico City. It is likely some of those artists will make appearances on Bunbury’s tour, although no guests have yet been announced.

Tickets for Bunbury’s Mutaciones  tour go on sale tomorrow, Feb. 2.
