How Do You Make A Good Travel Reel?

Making a good travel reel, Insta story or TikTok doesn’t have to be difficult. You’ll naturally capture visually stunning content since you’re already travelling to epic destinations.

If you want to try and jazz up your reels and content, here are some tips to help:

  • Use different angles to create different perspectives (try wide angle.)
  • Check out some of the trending reels and stories for inspiration.
  • Add text, like titles and inspirational captions if you feel the viewer can benefit.
  • Choose an epic song for your travel reel from the list I just gave you.
  • Don’t let filters overpower your content.
  • Edit for the timing of the music if this adds to the flow.

Apart from that, the best advice is to just have fun with it. Remember that content is a result of your travel experiences, not the other way around!

Wrapping Up: Songs For Travel Reels

One of the most productive things to do at home - learning photography and image shows smartphone on a tripod shooting sunset

Since music plays such a significant role in how we remember our travel experiences it’s important to combine the visual and audio to create the perfect travel reel.

The songs listed here are just a small sample of the sounds that can make your travel reels more engaging. The more travel reels/stories you create, the easier it will be to choose the best song to match.

I prefer to edit my content after a trip since I’m always too busy enjoying myself during it. It’s important to know that creating great content isn’t the whole part of the journey (unless you’re a paid influencer!)

So, let your storytelling stand out with this amazing collection of travel reel songs but, above all, enjoy the journey and the process.

Compliance status

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.

To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more.

This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs.

Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapts Its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.

If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You can reach out to the website’s operators by using the following email [email protected] .

Screen-reader and keyboard navigation

Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console screenshots of code examples:

Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all of the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.

These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.

Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside of it.

Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.

Disability profiles supported in our website

  • Epilepsy Safe Mode: this profile enables people with epilepsy to use the website safely by eliminating the risk of seizures that result from flashing or blinking animations and risky color combinations.
  • Visually Impaired Mode: this mode adjusts the website for the convenience of users with visual impairments such as Degrading Eyesight, Tunnel Vision, Cataract, Glaucoma, and others.
  • Cognitive Disability Mode: this mode provides different assistive options to help users with cognitive impairments such as Dyslexia, Autism, CVA, and others, to focus on the essential elements of the website more easily.
  • ADHD Friendly Mode: this mode helps users with ADHD and Neurodevelopmental disorders to read, browse, and focus on the main website elements more easily while significantly reducing distractions.
  • Blindness Mode: this mode configures the website to be compatible with screen-readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. A screen-reader is software for blind users that is installed on a computer and smartphone, and websites must be compatible with it.
  • Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motor-Impaired): this profile enables motor-impaired persons to operate the website using the keyboard Tab, Shift+Tab, and the Enter keys. Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.

Additional UI, design, and readability adjustments

  • Font adjustments – users, can increase and decrease its size, change its family (type), adjust the spacing, alignment, line height, and more.
  • Color adjustments – users can select various color contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted, and monochrome. Additionally, users can swap color schemes of titles, texts, and backgrounds, with over 7 different coloring options.
  • Animations – epileptic users can stop all running animations with the click of a button. Animations controlled by the interface include videos, GIFs, and CSS flashing transitions.
  • Content highlighting – users can choose to emphasize important elements such as links and titles. They can also choose to highlight focused or hovered elements only.
  • Audio muting – users with hearing devices may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playing. This option lets users mute the entire website instantly.
  • Cognitive disorders – we utilize a search engine that is linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, allowing people with cognitive disorders to decipher meanings of phrases, initials, slang, and others.
  • Additional functions – we provide users the option to change cursor color and size, use a printing mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and many other functions.

Browser and assistive technology compatibility

We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for MAC users.

Notes, comments, and feedback

Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our accessibility, adding, updating and improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal level of accessibility, following technological advancements. For any assistance, please reach out to [email protected] .

Several video editing tools offer a range of features, including trimming, transitions, filters, and effects. Look for user-friendly interfaces, intuitive controls, and compatibility with TikTok’s video specifications to streamline your editing process.

Tips for Shooting Travel Videos:

When capturing footage for your travel videos, keep these tips in mind:

  • Plan your shots: Outline the key elements you want to include in your video to ensure a cohesive narrative.
  • Steady shots: Invest in a smartphone stabilizer or use a tripod to avoid shaky footage.

Natural lighting: Take advantage of natural light to enhance the visual appeal of your videos.

Enhancing Video Quality:

To make your travel videos stand out, consider enhancing their quality using the following techniques:

  • Color correction: Adjust the color temperature, saturation, and contrast to create a visually appealing aesthetic.
  • Stylize with filters: Apply filters to add mood and ambiance to your footage, but use them sparingly to maintain authenticity.

Adding Captions and Text:

Captions and text overlays can enhance storytelling and make your videos more accessible. Use concise and engaging captions that complement the visuals and convey the essence of your travel experience.

Utilizing Video Background Remover:

Sometimes, the background of your video may not align with the desired aesthetic. In such cases, use a video background remover tool to replace or remove the existing background and create a more polished look.

Incorporating Trendy Transitions and Effects:

Stay up to date with the latest trends on TikTok and incorporate them into your travel videos. Utilize trendy transitions, effects, and visual techniques to captivate your audience and make your videos visually appealing.

Adding Music and Sound Effects:

Sound is a crucial element in travel videos. Add background music or sound effects that complement the mood and theme of your footage. Ensure that you have the necessary permissions or use royalty-free music to avoid copyright issues.

Optimizing Video Length and Format:

For TikTok, keep your travel videos short and snappy, aiming for a duration between 15 and 60 seconds. Ensure your videos are in a vertical format, as TikTok is primarily designed for mobile viewing.

Using Hashtags and Descriptions:

To maximize your video’s reach and visibility, include relevant hashtags and descriptive captions. Research popular travel-related hashtags and incorporate them strategically into your video descriptions.

Collaborating with Influencers:

Consider collaborating with influencers or fellow content creators who share a similar niche or audience. Collaborations can help you expand your reach, gain exposure to new audiences, and create unique content through a fresh perspective.

Engaging with the TikTok Community:

Engagement is vital on TikTok. Respond to comments, participate in challenges, and actively engage with the TikTok community. Building genuine connections can increase your following and help your travel videos gain traction.

Creating the perfect travel videos for TikTok requires a combination of creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of the platform’s dynamics. Daisy kent spills tea on viral music video with nsfw lyrics: ‘i don’t regret doing it’.

Getting candid.

Bachelor Nation fell in love with Daisy Kent as she looked for love with Joey Graziadei on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”

Amid her journey to find love, Daisy was going viral on social media for her “Bachelor”-related content, her book, and a questionable music video from 2021.

Daisy stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast this week and co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt asked about the infamous music video.

She said, “It’s actually one of my best friends since we were in fourth or fifth grade. He has always been one of my best friends. He makes a lot of music and does a lot of beats and stuff. I always did choir and played piano and guitar. We would always do random music stuff together. Then when he made that song, he was like, ‘Do you want to be on it?’ And I said, ‘Sure,’ so I was on it. It has been going around on the Internet.”

Serena asked Daisy if she anticipated the reaction that the video has gotten and she said she had a feeling it would resurface.

She said, “I thought people would probably find everything that was online but didn’t think people would have that big of a reaction to it. Me and all of my hometown friends were just laughing about it because honestly, most people weren’t mean about it, they were just like, ‘What the heck? This is so out of pocket.’”

Joe asked Daisy if she talked to her friend about questionable NSFW lyrics in the video that many fans have called “degrading.”

She said, “Yeah, I questioned it a little bit at the time. I remember my mom was like, ‘This is interesting’… So I remember calling my mom laughing and told her the music video I was on of Brandon’s is going viral and people are saying so much stuff about it. My mom is the most supportive person ever and she goes, ‘Hmmm, I get it.’”

Joe and Serena asked Daisy if she has any regrets about doing the video and she shared why she doesn’t.

She said, “I don’t regret doing it because we had so much fun that day and it was a time in my life where I was so, so sad. Whenever I had a day when I was having fun with one of my best friends, I didn’t regret it. Me and him laugh about it so much now.”

Daisy went on, saying, “A huge reason why I did that was because that period of my life was when I found out I was probably going deaf and so I wanted to do as much music stuff as I could because it’s always been such a big part of my life. I had hundreds of covers on this drive that I have.”

The TikTok Rizz Party Meme Is Trending Online, but What Is It?

The TikTok Rizz Party refers to a group of boys who rapped along to Kanye West's song 'Carnival.'

Apr. 4 2024, Published 11:37 a.m. ET

Thanks to a single viral video that features a group of primarily white boys rapping along to Kanye West's "Carnival," the phrase TikTok Rizz Party is now all over TikTok . If you're a bit confused as to what this phrase is supposed to mean, though, you can take some comfort from the fact that you aren't alone.

Plenty of people have seen the video or references to it without fully understanding the layers of an inside joke that are circulating it. Below, we'll unpack exactly where the TikTok Rizz Party meme comes from and why so many have decided to apply it to this video.

What does the TikTok Rizz Party meme have to do with the 'Carnival' boys?

The phrase TikTok Rizz Party first emerged in May 2023 when an Instagram user with the handle @23ryan_ posted a picture to his Story of a flyer for a TikTok Rizz Party. @23ryan_ posted the photo to make fun of the party and said that he likely wouldn't be attending.

Other people were amused by the notion of TikTok users gathering to celebrate their own charisma and they decided to keep the phrase alive.

The phrase still existed, though, but it was relatively dormant until someone found a video that seemed to fit it perfectly. A few weeks ago, the TikTok account @islandentertainment was hired to film a local girl's sweet 16 party, and while they were there, the cameraman happened to capture a group of boys who started aggressively singing along to Kanye West's song "Carnival," featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti.

The video quickly went viral online and led to various other videos that provided commentary on the video or parodied it. And, almost as quickly, the video came to be known ironically as the TikTok Rizz Party because the kids in the video seemed so aggressively uncool.

The comments under the video were ruthless, but it undeniably raised the profile of the kids at the center of the video.

@islandentertainment The boys showing how its done at Jillian’s sweet 16. #carnival #playboycarti #kayne #sweet16 #nycdj #statenisland #mitzvah #wedding #foryou #newjersey #nj #njdj #brooklyn #queens #longisland ♬ CARNIVAL (feat. Rich The Kid, Playboi Carti) - ¥$ & Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign & Rich The Kid & Playboi Carti

There's nothing all that terrible in the video.

Although it has become a trendy object of ridicule, the video itself isn't all that offensive or crazy. It's just a group of young guys bopping along to a song that they all like and know the words to. Are most of those guys really white? Sure, but they aren't doing anything other than enjoying a song together.

Teenagers today have much more of their lives documented than the older generations who are spending some of their time making fun of them. The video may make you cringe, but here's hoping that the jokey comments being made about these boys don't have any impact on their overall mental well-being.

Thankfully, most trends on TikTok don't last all that long. These boys may be getting a little more hate than they actually deserve, but users on the platform will eventually move onto something else that makes them laugh, roll their eyes, or maybe both.

Woman living on cruise ship shares four strict rules she has to abide by

Woman living on cruise ship shares four strict rules she has to abide by

When it comes to living on a cruise ship, the option looks better every day.

Not only would you get to pack it all in and sunbathe pretty much daily (depending on your route), chances are you’d be saving money , too.

Who could forget couple Marty and Jess Ansen , who booked 51 back-to-back cruises because it’s cheaper than living in a retirement home ?

And there was also John and Melody Hennessee, who discovered it’s ‘cheaper than living on land’ .

If this is something you’d seriously consider, you might be wondering what kind of rules you have to live by whilst on your sea-based adventure .

Well, look no further than Christine Kesteloo, who chronicles her life living aboard a cruise ship on TikTok , and answers all we’d ever need to know.

Christine’s hubby is a staff chief engineer on the cruise ship - so she comes along for the ride. She also explained that, whilst relaxing as a guest, she also has the privilege of accessing places and facilities usually reserved for crew.

Cruises are becoming more and more popular. Credit: Getty Stock Image

So, what does that mean exactly?

Firstly, Christine gets to live on the ship for free. She can also enjoy the food offerings in any of the on-board restaurants for free as well - but that’s not all. If she wants to buy anything or use the spa area, she gets a hefty discount - 50%.

Life of Riley!

Christine then told viewers her non-negotiable rules for living on a cruise ship, in a TikTok that has amassed over 1.2 million likes.

No gambling

Christine explains that it wouldn’t be a good look for the wife of a crew member to win big whilst gambling .

She said: “It would look a little weird if I, as the wife of the staff chief engineer, won a big jackpot. So I am not allowed to gamble on the ship."

Wear an easily-identifiable badge

To avoid the awkwardness of people thinking she’s a regular passenger hunting around the crew areas, Christine has to wear an easily identifiable badge.

She explained: “I am allowed in crew areas and guest areas but with that said when I am in crew areas I always have to wear my badge visible so they know I'm 'one of them' and allowed down there.”

@dutchworld_americangirl I go through four things I can, and cannot do it while living on the cruise ship with my husband #weliveonacruiseship #4things #alaskacruise #cruiseship #cruiseshiplife #cruise #alaska #caribbeancruise #cruiselife #livingstsea #getreadywithme ♬ Chill in a good mood, calm and fun(1263486) - zukisuzuki

The customer comes first

Christine admits that living onboard a cruise ship for free should have limits.

She said: "If the pool is packed I make sure to get up and give the guests a seat, it's just the right thing to do.

"I used to be cruise director so I totally understand how to give guests the best time."

She then explained that, whilst she’d be allowed to get off the cruise first as a ‘passenger’ when they reach their destination, she hangs back and lets others go first.

Christine has to ensure she's insured to travel all over the world.

She continued: "When I'm on the ship travelling with my husband I do have to at all times have international travellers insurance, medical, if something were to happen.

"Because we live in the Netherlands we have coverage there, my husband holds it on me and we just pay a little bit extra every single month."

Christine seems to have inspired a lot of people to swap land for sea.

One person commented: "This is a POV I never knew I needed."

Another said: "You live in the Netherlands normally AND get to live on a cruise ship for free????? LIFE GOALS. You WON the lottery oh my god."

“Testing video courses in the U.K. allows us to explore an exciting opportunity to better serve the needs of our users who have an active interest in learning,” said Babar Zafar, VP Product Development at Spotify. “Many of our users engage with podcasts and audiobooks on a daily basis for their learning needs, and we believe this highly engaged community will be interested in accessing and purchasing quality content from video course creators. At Spotify, we’re constantly striving to create new offerings for our creators and users, and having built best-in-class personalized music and podcast offerings, we look forward to exploring the potential of video-based learning on Spotify.”

Unsettling TikTok Shows What Turbulence Really Looks Like From A Pilot's Perspective

T he feeling of being jostled and shaken during a period of turbulence on a flight is not unusual. It is a typical part of traveling that most people expect, but very few enjoy. Many travelers find ways to cope with turbulence so that it doesn't increase their anxiety about flying  or interfere with their journey. Yet it's hard to know exactly what conditions are taking place to cause this type of disturbance during a flight. Have you ever wondered what it looks like from the pilot's point of view when an aircraft begins to experience turbulence? A popular TikTok has now answered this question. The video shares a scene from inside the cockpit of a plane as the aircraft begins to experience these rough conditions, and the comments reflect people's astonishment about what's really happening.

The TikTok is made by Unilad, the British media firm that specializes in providing unique content to its 3.4 million followers. The video sets the scene of a pilot behind the controls of an aircraft with a body of clouds visible through the windshield. As the plane approaches the clouds and begins to pass through them, the aircraft suddenly begins to shake unsteadily as it encounters a period of turbulence. The TikTok is a powerful demonstration of how suddenly these conditions can develop and how powerfully they can affect the airplane. The video has generated over 348,000 likes, and it's also inspired over 1,400 comments from people who feel very strongly about what they just saw.

Read more: Insider Hacks And Little-Known Facts: 12 Secrets Of Inflight Beverage Service

Is Turbulence Really Just Caused By Clouds?

Many of the comments on the TikTok are from people who are stunned to see how a simple cloud could be the cause of so much commotion on a plane. Many people who had never given much thought to clouds suddenly began to eye them with suspicion. One person asks, "I had no idea turbulence meant we were flying through a cloud," and another commenter says, "Anybody else not know turbulence was [caused] by going through a cloud? Just me?" Someone else concludes, "I hate flying through clouds for this reason. What's up with clouds?"

Another line of questioning is whether something might be inside the cloud that the plane could run into as it navigated through it, such as another airplane. One person expresses alarm that, "Turbulence = the pilot CAN'T SEE!!" As a result, many people ask why the pilot can't simply maneuver around the cloud. "So I'm not a pilot but why not fly over the clouds?" one person asks. In response, several people try to explain that it's not always possible to avoid flying through clouds. Other formations may move into your path, and it's not always easy simply to fly above one that's in your way. "Never try to outclimb a cloud. Can be much higher than what you perceive," someone points out. Finally, another humorously concludes, "See this confirms my suspicions that the pilot can choose to avoid the turbulence and just doesn't. I knew it."

Clouds Are Just A Clue To Turbulent Conditions

The truth is that turbulence is caused by a sudden change in airflow, and clouds are simply a clue to know that these conditions are present. Airlines watch the weather closely in order to avoid turbulence as much as possible. Warren Weston is a meteorologist at the Delta Airlines Operations and Customer Center in Atlanta, where he studies the weather and flight conditions each day to help find the safest and smoothest routes for each flight. "Our flight planners and dispatchers are looking several hours in advance," Weston says, per Delta Air Lines . "It's kind of like there are highways in the sky, and those teams are able to use our forecasts to direct them to what might be the best track for a flight coming up." Not only are the airlines using technology to predict where patches of turbulence might appear, but passengers also have the opportunity to check the turbulence forecast before a flight .

These forecasts help pilots avoid areas of turbulence as much as possible, but it's important to understand that aircraft can't suddenly swerve around a cloud when one pops up. It's necessary to consult with air traffic control before pilots can divert from their flight plans, even if it's just going a little higher or lower to bypass the bumpy air. In the meantime, if you're especially worried about turbulence, try booking a flight at the time of day where you can expect a smoother flight .
