The route for our road trip from Toronto to New York begins in the province of Ontario, in the most populous city in Canada. It will take us across the border and through the US states of New York and New Jersey, before bringing us to our destination in America's most populous city, NYC.

It goes without saying that, as this route crosses the international border between Canada and the US, you will need to check whether you need travel documents ahead of your journey. These will vary depending on your nationality, so make sure to plan ahead to avoid any last-minute delays to your trip.

Road trip route from Toronto to New York

Set off west on Queen Elizabeth Way and follow it around the western shore of Lake Ontario, until it brings you to Ontario Highway 420, which you will follow across Rainbow International Bridge and into America. This border crossing can get busy in peak season, sometimes adding an extra hour to your journey.

After crossing the border take Rainbow Blvd south to John Daly Boulevard. Turn right onto this and then, almost immediately, cross the roundabout onto Niagara Scenic Parkway.

Follow this its entire length, along the banks of the Niagara River, until it merges with the I-190. Take that south across Grand Island and then, once you have passed back onto the mainland, exit onto the I-290.

Merge onto the I-90 at Exit 1-49, and follow this all the way to Albany, passing Rochester and Syracuse on the way.

At Albany, you'll switch onto the I-87 and follow it south along the historic Hudson valley.

If you're stopping at Woodstock, leave the I-87 at exit 20, then make your way back to the Interstate to carry on your journey. Or alternatively, simply remain on the I-87 until it merges with I-287, some 193 km (120 miles) away, in Hillburn.

Take that west and then immediately switch onto New Jersey 17 going south. Follow that to its conclusion in Rutherford, where you will switch to New Jersey 3 going east.

This will take you all the way to Union City, where you will make one final change, onto Route 495, and follow it through the Lincoln Tunnel and into New York City.

With its historic buildings and vessels, dating all the way back to when the city was founded, Albany will fill your trip with a true sense of what the state of New York was like when the first settlers arrived. The beautiful State Capitol and the Schuyler Mansion are well worth a visit, as well as the museums which will help you learn about the legacy of this often overlooked city.

Engage with your creative side when you visit the town's galleries, live music venues and theatres - check ahead to see what's showing when you're in town. First time with Porter and I can say this is best airline company in Canada. Great service, free WiFi, free snack and drinks (including beer and wine). Seats were super comfy on the Embraer jet and I appreciated the folding try table too. Staff were excellent both legs of the trip.

United Airlines did not tell me that there was VERY LIMITED HANDICAP SERVICE IN NAPLES. De-plane via 20 aluminum steps. Taken to Van. You must walk into the terminal, find luggage, and then walk out to the rental car pickup spot that is 1 block from the terminal.

Bad, they delayed my flight, lost my connection flight had to stay overnight for the next flight and missed a lot of important meetings. 1 day totally lost!

Our flight was delayed several times. It left 9 hours after scheduling. We had to sleep in the airport.

Like all other airlines United makes you pay for everything. Like everyone, you have to pay for checking in a bag on top of your already expensive ticket. Hence no one does it and we all show up with our luggage at boarding which forces the company to push people to drop their luggage as there is no space. Well, that delays the boarding process a d generates frustrated passengers who lashes out on the poor crew. Please go back to the simple past: charge my original ticket 30 dollars more and make one bag check in included (even in basic economy). I won't even see the difference on price but will definitely notice the beauty of having the chance to ship my luggage !

The Check-in process at ORF for united is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I got there two hours early for a flight down the street and didn’t make it halfway to the register before I had to get out of line and remove my bags or miss my flight. This is every day thing and I’m clueless how this has gone on for years. This was the final straw. I’d rather pay a fortune more for a different airline than deal with this process

Terrible Initial delay for almost an hour before boarding and departing in Seattle. Then a “customary” wait on the tarmac in Newark after landing for half an hour. I call it customary because it happens almost every time I land in Newark. I do t know if it’s Newark or United airline but it’s a travesty . They canceled the flight with no reason given they should not be in business

We had a 44 minute layover ( ??? ) to change planes for our flight to SRQ. We landed at Concourse D, and the SRQ plane was located at Concourse B, as we were told in Toronto. We got to "B4" as directed by ( Delta Help ), in less than 10 minutes, only to see the flight we booked to leave at 2:28, was showing "DEPARTED". Back to Delta Help, got an extremely obnoxious and rude clerk who gave use two options, next flight leaving 5:20, on "B12", (STANDBY). or (CONFIRMED), leaving around 8:PM, not sure of the exact time because they took our seat request and gave us another boarding pass minus the exact time. We had been waiting hours for the 5:20 flight and at the very last minute a group appeared and were allowed to board. When the "standby" folks were summoned, several were allowed to board ahead of us, even though we were there much earlier. The clerk, who gave his name as Markus, a black man with a beard, was the most arrogant. rude and condescending individual in existence. When I asked him to repeat his name he said "what did it sound like?". Had I been thinking I would have answered to me it sounded like (markasshole) which is exactly what he was. When we originally got to that gate and asked for advice, he went on and on telling me he could only comment on the flight that was in progress, that ATL was a big airport, and treated us, both, in our 80"s like we were children unable to understand the process, and directly in my face in a loud voice, shouted exactly what we were already aware of. Not one ounce of consideration for our problem, of just trying to get home. When he called out the names of the remaining "standby" people, he left several go before us, even though we were there waiting hours earlier. He called out our names, John and Nubia, looked at us and shouted out that he only had ONE, and with a grin on his face, let another standby board, and told that person that she got the "lucky" last seat, still grinning, meaning we had to wait once again for the later flight. This obviously prejudiced and biased poor excuse of human beings needs to find a job he is better suited for, perhaps dog catcher or janitor, IMHO. This entire fiasco put us home more than 7 hours later than previously indicated on our original and paid for flight schedule. If Kayak continues to offer flights with different concourse locations and with only a 44 minute layover, they might also consider a more reasonable and reliable time frame for layover. It was a horrible experience and considering alternatives to this service is paramount.

Plane was tooo small, making cracking sound felt lime its breaking down. No tv, wifi doesn’t work. Only 2 restroom

Flight was re-scheduled for the next day. No voucher for a hotel offered. Boarding was delayed by almost 1 hour. No free meal or even water was offered on board. When tried to purchase a coke, was denied because they didn’t accept coins less than 1 euro denominations. A young male flight attendant was especially rude and unhelpful.

My connecting flight was switched without proper notice. Spent the night at the airport. Missed my hotel room and rental car due to this inconvenience. Trying to remain positive.

West Jet invited me to check in 24 hrs before the flight, issued me boarding passes, then emailed at 4am saying flight would be delayed by half an hour, then emailed at 8:30am saying check flight status ‘flight could be affected’, then emailed at 10am saying cancelled and not alternate flight option until a day and a half later (and that would include 2 stop overs for a more than 11 hour travel day arriving 2 days after the original ticket). Refund given but not compensation. Had to cancel the entire trip.

The baggage handlers at Toronto did not load anyone's baggage onto the jet. We sat at the carousel in Pittsburgh for a half hour before anyone told us.

Air Canada did nothing for me when my flight got delayed and canceled and I had to spent the entire day in the airport and spend money on a hotel room, plus lose money on a car rental

Crew was good. The plane was a Time Machine from the 80s. Entertainment was constantly lagging and looked like it was running on Microsoft 99 operating system. Seats were uncomfortable. Only food offered was pretzels for a flight running from 14:00-19:15 local Toronto time. Second time I’ve flown Air Canada and I will avoid it in the future as much as possible.

It’s a shameful company. It ask as to go to counter to take the boarding pass, they simply send it by email, just to check the bags’ size in a smaller than normal template. DONT USE FLAIR! It will be more expensive than normal airlines at the end.

flight was okay, no wifi, no free drinks but worst of all they lost my son's bike for four days. Customer service was nonexistent - call a number that leaves you on perpetual hold, there's no baggage folks in the baggage claims area (in vancouver). we went up to international and nobody was at ticketing, went to domestic and they had us fill out a form. they could not tell us where the bag was. Anyway, highly recommend you drop an airtag for anything that's worth more than $500. My son's bike costs a lot more than that to replace; I was on pins and needles for four days.

The crew of this flight, specially the flight attendant in the front were the sweetest I’ve had in all my life, I genuinely hope they get a race or sum cuz of their efforts. It was just quite unsettling that the flight took so long to departure. It was supposed to leave at 10:35pm and we ended up taking off at 11:22pm…👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Of all the countries I've flown to and airlines from around the world, I have never had such a dismissive an arrogant employee during boarding. After waiting in line for 20 minutes to board, I was sent to a second line for Passport verification. Natalie from Flair, repeatedly tried to scan my passport which didn't work for some reason but was too lazy to input my information manually. Bar code scanners aren't 100% reliable as we all know. She asked me my birthdate 3 times, made me wait to be the last person aboard and then smugly threatened me that my only bag could be charged for (same backpack I used as on my arrival as carry on). Natalie working in Ft. Lauderdale and the was the epitome of lobotomized tiktok brain with the charm of junk mail.

Food selection is very poor and sears are very uncomfortable.

Flight was 3 hrs late and another 2 hrs wait for baggage to arrive on carousel and a $7.00 food voucher that arrived as we were boarding our flight.

Seat rows so close together no one dares to put their seats back. Knees pressed against the seat in front, had to find a position putting my legs under the seat in front. But for 6 hours keeping that one position was ridiculous. All savings on the purchase price are taken back through charge backs for luggage $200 each way, Seat selection $44 per seat or you are seated by a computer randomly. Wife sat 5 rows away. Would avoid Flair in the future

Practice Flights and Calm Spaces: Making Room for Neurodivergent Travelers

Airlines, hotels, theme parks and others are working to ease the challenges of travel for people with autism, A.D.H.D and other “invisible disabilities.”

After decades of caring for his autistic son, Ryan, Adam Murphy, a 51-year-old father of three from Gloucestershire, England, noticed that Ryan, 27, was becoming a bit more open to trying new things. His son, Mr. Murphy realized, might be able to take his first airplane ride.

But traveling would not be without difficulties.

“Going to our local supermarket could be a challenge,” said Mr. Murphy. “So how do you do that?”

Travel, by nature, brings with it changes in routine and environment, unpredictable situations, and oftentimes, sensory overload — all of which can be overwhelming to neurodivergent children and adults, which can include those diagnosed with disorders including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and autism.

Some 78 percent of families with autistic members, as well as people who are themselves autistic, said they were hesitant to travel in a 2022 survey by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards , an organization that trains and certifies travel professionals to assist families and individuals with special needs. But 94 percent of those surveyed said they would travel more if they had access to options that are certified to recognize and understand the needs of people with autism.

Those options are increasing. In recent years, the travel industry has worked to become more inclusive of neurodivergent travelers, with airports offering sensory rooms and trained staff, hotels and resorts changing booking processes and accommodating those with special needs, and destinations becoming certified, by autism specialists specifically, to serve autistic visitors.

But travelers and families still need to choose itineraries that fit their needs, factoring in details like flights, hotel menus and floor plans, noise and crowds, and proximity to activities.

Mr. Murphy prepared for about 12 months, starting with the choice of destination: Torremolinos, a resort town in southern Spain where English is widely spoken and familiar brands of products can be found on store shelves. Torremolinos was also accessible by a direct flight from a nearby airport.

“We basically were us, but in a different country,” Mr. Murphy said of their vacation experience, “which may sound kind of dull and boring to a lot of people, but that’s exactly what we needed.”

Here is a sampling of the changes that various sectors of the industry are making to welcome neurodivergent travelers and their families.

Flight rehearsals, sunflower lanyards and new specialists

For anyone, flying can be an intense experience. At the airport, there are crowds, blaring noises and few easily accessible spaces to find calm. Flights can be delayed or canceled. On the plane, there is the unpredictability of a flight — turbulence and other flight disruptions — and the tensions that can arise in a cabin packed with dozens of strangers. All of these sensory stressors are magnified for neurodivergent travelers .

For years, airlines, airports and nonprofit organizations have hosted practice events for travelers and their families to familiarize themselves with flying, including hosting mock flights in real airplanes.

For Mr. Murphy, a vital aspect of his travel preparation was to familiarize Ryan with the trip and its intricacies beforehand. Mr. Murphy contacted his local airport in Gloucestershire and Fly2Help , a charity program based at that airport, to bring Ryan there and familiarize him with an airplane. Mr. Murphy looked up videos of plane sounds on YouTube, including a plane toilet flushing, for Ryan to hear.

Mr. Murphy also requested a sunflower-decorated lanyard, from the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program , for Ryan to wear while flying. These cheerful lanyards, recognized at more than 240 airports worldwide, discreetly signal to staff that these travelers might need extra help and time in the airport.

At airports in the United States, the Transportation Security Administration provides assistance to individuals with disabilities or medical conditions during the security screening process, and officers with specialized training to assist and communicate with these travelers. Sensory rooms, or calm spaces designed to thwart overstimulation, have proliferated. Rooms have recently opened at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston and at Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal A.

But for some travelers, improvements could be as simple as better signage.

Aneisha Velazquez, a 33-year-old from the Dallas-Fort Worth area who works in bookkeeping, was diagnosed with autism and A.D.H.D. in 2021. She feels that airport signage is inconsistent, which makes getting through the buildings, particularly security, confusing and stressful.

“I usually just err on the side of taking out all electronics,” she said, as she often doesn’t know which devices need to be scanned separately. “It’d be easier if there was a sign with pictures as a reminder.”

Airlines are creating visual guides to consult before flying. One, from British Airways , describes the requirements of international air travel, from going through security to collecting bags. Emirates also has a planning guide, tailored to trips through Dubai International Airport , and in recent years the airline has trained thousands of its employees to recognize and aid neurodivergent travelers.

Jackie Dilworth, a spokeswoman for the Arc , a national organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, emphasized that air travel accessibility still varies widely, depending on airlines, airports and staff.

Hotels and resorts

Certifications, inclusivity and ‘autism concierges’

Is the hotel in a busy part of town? What do the room designs look like? Which rooms at the hotel are quietest, and where on the property are they? What kinds of food do they serve and at what times? Does the hotel staff have anybody who can help with specific questions or requests?

These are the kinds of questions that someone traveling with neurodivergent family members may ask when searching for lodging.

In Spain, Mr. Murphy booked a family-friendly hotel — one that was part of the Meliá brand and had a few properties in the vicinity that they were free to explore. It had a pool, a nearby beach and plenty of activities that Ryan could choose from. Ahead of visiting, he called the hotel, let staff members know he would be traveling with his autistic son and asked for an up-to-date menu so Ryan could know what he’d be eating that week and at what time each meal would be served.

Once in Torremolinos, Ryan loved frequenting the hotel buffet and trying all the different food. The hotel offered a kids’ club, and Mr. Murphy would sit at a table and watch Ryan “just happily joining in with everybody else, wanting to give high fives to the mascots and grinning and laughing away.”

Other hotels are also catering to neurodivergent guests.

Beaches , an international chain of all-inclusive family-friendly resorts under the Sandals brand, has had I.B.C.C.E.S. specialists train its staff in sensory awareness, communication and program development for guests. Beaches also offers autism-friendly experiences and sensory guides, as well as restaurants that cater to those with special dietary needs.

Staff members at Karisma Hotels , which includes brands like the Nickelodeon, Margaritaville and Azul resorts, were trained and certified by Autism Double-Checked , another organization that focuses on autism awareness and education in the travel industry. Karisma offers an “ autism concierge ” to aid families traveling with guests who have autism, as well as to help support them as they plan their vacation. The company also allows guests to fill out an “ autism passport ” that details individual needs, such as their sensory sensitivities, emotional triggers and calming strategies.

Larger hotel chains are also responding. Nearly 40 properties under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts umbrella across Europe and the United States participate in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, and the company is actively adding more throughout the year.

Last April, Hyatt Hotels worked with New York University and KultureCity , a nonprofit that trains businesses in sensory accessibility, to identify ways its properties could better accommodate neurodivergent guests.

Among the changes their research proposed: providing visuals of a property’s floor plan in advance, so guests can familiarize themselves with the layout; amenities — like weighted blankets or noise-canceling headphones — that help with sensory overload; and contact-free check-in and checkout.

Mark Vondrasek, Hyatt’s chief commercial officer, said the company was working to apply these new practices across its properties.

“It makes great business sense,” Kaushik Vardharajan, an associate professor at the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, said of the industry becoming more inclusive. “If you can now suddenly provide solutions and cater to that segment, then you become the most popular brand, or become the most popular hotel, to those customers.”

People with “invisible disabilities” like autism often don’t know what kinds of accommodations are available to them, and how to go about asking for them, said Rose Ernst, a 46-year-old writer and consultant from Alaska. Ms. Ernst was diagnosed with autism in 2022.

“Making this more obvious would be a great first step,” Ms. Ernst said. “The second is to understand a basic principle of disability justice: The ‘accommodations’ made for disabled people often make everyone’s lives better.”

Special access, special rooms and an autistic muppet

Many theme parks in the United States now offer a range of services to reduce the stress of visiting for neurodivergent travelers and their families.

Before visiting Universal Orlando Resort, guests can download a guide that describes what to expect at each park ride, including whether there will be strobe effects or loud noises, and lists the quiet areas where neurodivergent visitors can rest. If parents are worried about how their children will handle the long lines for rides, they can request an Attractions Assistance Pass , which allows guests to return at a specific time for a ride instead of waiting in line. To receive the pass, guests need an Individual Accessibility Card issued by the I.B.C.C.E.S. within 30 days of their visit.

Six Flags parks also provide sensory guides and sensory-friendly spaces, and Sesame Place Philadelphia offers noise-canceling headphones, a ride accessibility program, an accessibility guide and low-sensory dining options. At the park, Sesame Place guests can also meet Julia, a 4-year-old autistic Muppet from Sesame Street. At SeaWorld Orlando, Sesame Street Land is a Certified Autism Center, staffed by specially trained employees, and guests can take advantage of the park’s quiet rooms and the Ride Accessibility Program , which allows guests to request a boarding time rather than wait in line for certain rides.

At Walt Disney World and Disneyland , neurodivergent visitors can get around long lines by registering for the Disability Access Service , Disney’s equivalent of the Universal Attractions Assistance Pass. Revamped this year, the pass is only for those with a “developmental disability like autism or a similar disorder,” and eligibility must be determined by a Disney worker before enjoying the rides. Disney World and Disneyland also offer guides that list locations where guests can rest and offer tips for neurodivergent tourists.

State and national parks are making moves as well, opening new trails and providing special access passes.

One of the most accessible spots for neurodivergent tourists is the Autism Nature Trail , which opened in 2021 at Letchworth State Park in western New York and was designed with guidance from the autism researcher Temple Grandin . Beginning and ending in the same place, the flat, mile-long trail evokes a sense of calming predictability. Along the path are eight interactive nature stations , including a “Celebration Station” with chalkboards for recording impressions or feelings, and a “Music Circle” with three nature-inspired instruments.

For entry to all national parks, neurodivergent visitors can apply for a free lifetime Interagency Access Pass . Some parks provide more. Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky equips neurodivergent visitors for the dark and sometimes crowded cave tours by offering detailed descriptions of what to expect while underground. Similarly, visitors can plan ahead for a trip to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park in California by viewing its accessibility film series , featuring in-depth tours of park locations. And at Big Thicket National Preserve in Texas, families receive Velcro task boards to plan how they will explore the park’s forests, bogs and bayous.

When touring Death Valley National Park , visitors can obtain sensory kits from the visitor center, which include communication cards, noise-canceling headphones, backpacks and other items. Jeremy Buzzell, branch chief for the National Park Service’s accessibility management program , said some staff members have undergone a seven-part training series to learn how to better accommodate neurodivergent guests.

“We want to make sure that we can welcome all visitors,” Mr. Buzzell said. “We’ve got to be ready to accommodate whatever needs a person has.”

It’s a service to take you from one point to another. No frills. You want it, you take it. It’s upon you to bring food, reading material, games to play, movies to watch, etc. The wifi onboard never works - so you cannot even listen to any podcasts, music, or get updated news feeds. The toilet is a mess, and a four flight does not need any hygienic interventions when people either splatter their pee all over the seats or on the floor. It’s a monopolized service and so smile and bear it.

Boarding was efficient. Crew was not pleasant and skipped me during a round of beverage service. Older plane with no seat back screens and I couldn’t connect to wifi or their entertainment offerings.

Everything could’ve been better. The boarding process was a little tedious, and then they put me in a seat with the window did not open, which gave me a very uncomfortable feeling considering I had told them that. I arrived to LaGuardia Airport 50 minutes prior to my 6am flight but was told that I was too late and would have to flight standby to Dallas in order reach my final destination of Jackson, MS. Hundreds of people were in my situation but the agents chalked this up to being normal for any day. Had my been able to board my original flight I would have arrived at my destination by 10:30am. I didn’t arrive until 7:30pm which included a 30 minute wait on the tarmac. Strangely my luggage arrived at my final destination at 12:30pm of the same travel day. This was by far the worst travel experience I’ve ever had.

The food was horrible compared to other airlines, there was no space for the overhead bins for carry-on luggage, and the seats were very uncomfortable.

Finally i called back later in the afternoon and a representative answered the call. She told me there were no flights out till Tuesday morning. I asked how this is possible, I had seen flights from AA and other airlines leaving Monday. She said she checked all NYC airports and there were no AA flights till Tuesday AM. Then I asked about getting on another airline. She responded i would be responsible for that. When I asked how AA would reimburse. She became nasty and told me AA has not responsibility to reimburse anything they will put me in a flight for Tuesday morning. When i explained he must be there Monday by 8am, she told me there's nothing to do and practically hung up. At that point I just asked her to book the Tuesday morning flight. I had this experience with other airlines, cancelled due to weather and they and their reps were much more helpful. Either way Tuesday morning flight was delayed as well. Over an hour! I expect more from AA.

It was a tiny plane. There was a very heavy, very sweaty man in my seat. When he got up, sweat was dripping down the back of f the seat from the headrest. I couldn’t lean back the whole flight. It was very hot in the plane until we took off. Then as we flew low hoping to land, but were delayed for over 30 minutes, the plane got very hot again. On takeoff, the pilot started accelerating hard around the corner, something I’ve never experienced in a plane. Landing was fairly rough as well and we had to brake hard.

It was quite disappointing as ground crew at gate check in are not communicating with in flight crew and did not allow quite a few passengers boarding last -according to zones - to take their cabin bags citing storage compartments were full! No choice & not negotiable but it was NOT true as all the overhead storage compartments by the seating were in fact empty!!! A simple communication between the AC staff would have easily avoided unnecessary inconveniences to the passengers.

This is the first and the last time I ever fly Air Canada. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, no leg room. My back was throbbing by the time the flight was over. After waiting in line for 20 minutes to board, I was sent to a second line for Passport verification. Natalie from Flair, repeatedly tried to scan my passport which didn't work for some reason but was too lazy to input my information manually. Bar code scanners aren't 100% reliable as we all know. She asked me my birthdate 3 times, made me wait to be the last person aboard and then smugly threatened me that my only bag could be charged for (same backpack I used as on my arrival as carry on). Natalie working in Ft. Lauderdale and the was the epitome of lobotomized tiktok brain with the charm of junk mail.

Seat rows so close together no one dares to put their seats back. Knees pressed against the seat in front, had to find a position putting my legs under the seat in front. But for 6 hours keeping that one position was ridiculous. All savings on the purchase price are taken back through charge backs for luggage $200 each way, Seat selection $44 per seat or you are seated by a computer randomly. Wife sat 5 rows away. Would avoid Flair in the future

You'd want to wrap up extra warm for this one, as it's within the Arctic Circle and having been up that far north myself I can tell you it can get absolutely freezing.

It's a dreamy summer day trip.

You can visit a charming small town outside of Toronto without getting in your car. This bus service will take you right from the city's downtown to the historic village for a dreamy day trip.

The entire bus trip takes just an hour and a half one way, leaving you lots of time to explore the beautiful local shops and old-world streets.

You'll want to bring a some hiking shoes, because the trip includes a stop at a majestic gorge surrounded by towering cliffs.

If you're looking for a last-minute summer day trip that doesn't require a car, you'll want to book a ticket for this small town adventure.

Tour bus agency Parkbus is offering trips to Elora on select dates from June to October.

The journey offers stops at both the Elora Gorge Conservation Area and the town of Elora. You can choose to explore one area or both. Elora is located about a 30 minute walk from the gorge.

The gorge is one of Parkbus's most popular destinations, according to the website, and offers activities such as hiking and tubing. The bus ticket includes admission to the gorge. If you're planning on going tubing, you'll want to make a reservation in advance.

Elora, known as "Ontario's most beautiful village," is an enchanting spot to spend a day.

The historic town is lined with sweet shops, cafes, restaurants and more waiting to be explored.

The bus leaves from downtown Toronto at 8:15 a.m. and returns at 5 p.m.

Action bronson toured this waterfront brooklyn home — it can be yours for $3.25m.

Rapper-songwriter, chef and TV presenter Action Bronson — who lost 130 pounds after vowing to get healthy during the pandemic — toured an 11th-floor unit at the Huron on the Greenpoint waterfront in Brooklyn recently. 

The family-sized, 1,626-square-foot corner condo is on the market for $3.25 million. Common charges are an additional $2,334 a month.

The lyrical cook, who is also a wrestler with 2 million followers on Instagram, vowed to get healthy as his family grew. He is now even doing Pilates with his wife, Valeria, according to reports. The couple share a son, Benicio, who was born in 2019, and a daughter, Lennox Daisy, who was born in 2022.

“I wanna stay alive,” Bronson said in an interview last fall. “I wanna stay alive and enjoy all these tremendous opportunities that are in front of us and live all this beauty that is around every day.”

The roomy residence comes with three bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms — and a 308-square-foot terrace.

We hear the couple is only interested in water views, and that the building’s proximity to the ferry was also a draw.

Design details include high ceilings, wide-plank oak floors and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the East River and the Manhattan skyline, along with energy-efficient multi-zone VRF heating and cooling.

The home opens to a foyer that leads to an open living and dining room with a chef’s kitchen and a terrace for al fresco dining. There’s also a main bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and a spa-like bath. 

Building sales are also on fire. A seventh-floor, 1,581-square-foot unit also recently went into contract at $4.21 million, which is a Greenpoint record, brokers said.

The penthouse, asking $5.7 million, has also found a buyer. 

The building, designed by the prolific architect Morris Adjmi, is comprised of two towers with more than 30,000 square feet of amenities — including a saltwater pool overlooking the river, a gym, a dance studio with mirrors and ballet bars, and locker rooms with a sauna.

There’s also a concierge, on-site parking, a pet spa, cold storage, a residents’ lounge with a pool table, a formal dining room, a co-working area, a game room and a children’s playroom.
