Here’s all you can do with Zeno to make every step of business travel booking easier.

Traveler experience

With Zeno, travelers can easily book point-to-point international and domestic flights, plus multi-stop domestic flights.

Zeno’s extensive range of flight content lets travelers book New Distribution Capability (NDC) fares through our integrations with Travelfusion and Sabre, plus flights through all the main Global Distribution Systems (GDS), direct API connections, and regional carriers.

Zeno offers an extensive range of accommodation options through GDS,  Booking.com, Expedia and more. Travelers can filter rooms by price, rating, location or brand, and compare corporate negotiated rates against other supplier rates to get the best rate of the day.

If travelers prefer non-hotel accommodation like an apartment, cottage or B&B for instance, they’re also available through Zeno and Booking.com.

Rental vehicles from the major providers can be booked through Zeno, with preferred options based on corporate travel policy and traveler preferences. Rental car searches can be based on depot location, independent of airport location.

Zeno also has a unique capability for the mining and resource industry. Workers can select Mine-spec during their search and know they’re getting a vehicle with the safety and performance features they need.

Zeno supports travelers across their end-to-end itinerary, from pick-up to drop-off, with a range of airport transfer options to suit budget guidance and travel requirements.

Travelers book their flights, hotel, rental car and airport transfers from one screen, which streamlines the entire process and gives them a single view of their trip.

Flight search results include airline branding, plus images and videos of inclusions. This detail, that looks familiar to leisure travel websites travelers are used to, makes it easy to understand what is and isn’t included in different fare options.

Zeno's intelligent technology learns a traveler's preferences in order to customize a shortlist of recommendations.

Zeno recommends options that fit a traveler's preferences and that are in line with corporate travel policy.

Travelers can select additional items including baggage, meals, and free and prepaid seats, where supported by the airline.

Hotel or rental car reservations can be added to existing bookings, without needing to create a new booking each time.

Travelers can easily share itineraries with colleagues or personal contacts by email.

Draft travel bookings can be saved and retrieved for completion later.

Once a booking is completed, an email is sent to the traveler so they can sync the itinerary with their calendar.

Travelers can search and book trips from the Zeno mobile app, view itineraries, and receive check-in reminders, prompts to leave for the airport, cancellation notices, gate changes and more.

Travel bookers or arrangers can book on behalf of other travelers – including external guests. A single booking can be made for up to 9 travelers on the same itinerary, with smart allocation to rooms and cars if needed.

Zeno lets travel arrangers book on behalf of non-employees such as contractors or external partners, without having to create a permanent traveler profile.

Travel management

Business rules can be automatically applied to filter search results in line with company travel policy.

Zeno prevents duplication when an existing booking overlaps with a new booking’s search criteria.

Travelers can change individual itinerary elements before or after tickets are issued.

Changes are subject to supplier and fare conditions and are only available through a travel management company.

Travelers can cancel individual trip elements.

Cancellations are subject to supplier and fare conditions and are only available through a travel management company.

If travel plans need to be canceled or rescheduled, Zeno stores the canceled flight purchases as unused ticket credits. These credits are then automatically applied to future bookings in expiry date order.

Changes and cancellations are not available in all regions and are subject to supplier and fare conditions.

Any business rules across the entire travel program can be applied to each booking, and travelers can be asked for an explanation if they book outside of policy.

Zeno calculates and presents the potential savings from the cheapest available option. This option is highlighted to both travelers and approvers, and travelers are prompted to select it.

Your corporate negotiated rates appear in Zeno where travelers can compare them against other supplier rates and get the best rate of the day on every search.

Configure minimum and maximum hotel room rates by destination country, city or suburb.

Zeno lets you use multiple cards to pay for different elements of an itinerary. For example, one card can be used for flights and a different card for hotel payments. Zeno also supports virtual cards – a digital copy of a physical credit or debit card that's stored on a traveler’s mobile device.

Zeno requires each trip to be approved by a company authorizer prior to ticketing and departure.

Business rules can be applied to require multiple authorization levels, for instance from a line manager, finance or HR approver.

The Zeno dashboard lets managers visually track all current and upcoming trips for travelers. The dashboard also includes TravelSafe destination ratings.

Mission Zero is a suite of user-friendly carbon offset capabilities in Zeno. Travelers can see real-time emissions and offset calculations alongside flight options on each journey. This information helps travelers make more sustainable choices. Mission Zero is powered by BlueHalo TM Climate Action Technology from Tasman Environmental Markets (TEM).

Configuration and access

Zeno dynamically imports data from supported enterprise systems to configure profiles and cost center information. For example, employee data from an HR system is automatically imported to create a traveler profile.

Itinerary and trip cost details can be exported to supported third party systems like Excel, or to procurement, finance and expense platforms.

Configure Zeno to your corporate structure to capture travel costs and automatically apply them to appropriate cost centers.

Zeno supports multiple SSO platforms to verify access and give users a seamless and secure login experience.

Booking request details can be imported from supported third party systems, such as a procurement system, without having to re-enter data.

One login screen gives users access to Zeno's travel and expense functionality.

Zeno’s interface theme can be customized to reflect corporate branding.

Multi-Pax Bookings

Zeno is designed for travellers to self-book, and for travel arrangers to book for their teams, or make guest bookings. The process and user experience is the same across all, so today we’re set up as a travel arranger and will proceed by selecting two travellers to depict an innovation specific to this scenario. Multi-Pax Bookings are a key differentiator in Zeno, allowing travel arrangers to book multiple travellers on a single trip in a snap, streamlining the booking process for multiple travellers going to the same place on the same itinerary. As you will see, the travel arrangers goes through the selection process just once and clicks the Book button just once, but the best part is that Zeno sends two separate reservation PNR’s to the TMC. This provides reporting integrity and avoids troubles with change management for multiple passengers on the same itinerary.

Designed around the concept of a unified travel experience, Zeno lets you connect different modes of travel into a single screen itinerary. ‍ To start with, select which modes you want for this trip. Zeno’s AI-driven personalisation engine will remember the modes you normally select. So if you never book a rental car, you don’t have to deselect that option every time – Zeno will remember.

Zeno’s multi-source search engine integrates air, rail, hotel and rental car content from the Global Distribution System as well as direct connections to suppliers like booking.com. All content options are firstly filtered by the corporate travel policy and then shortlisted based on traveller preferences.

SOUTHLAKE, Texas AND AUCKLAND, New Zealand – April 29, 2024 – Sabre Corporation   (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading technology provider to the global travel industry, today announced that Serko has launched Sabre NDC content in Zeno, the online travel platform for the business travel market. The activation makes Sabre the first GDS to provide NDC content through Zeno.

Starting this month, Serko’s corporate travel and expense management platform, Zeno, is integrating NDC-enabled content through Sabre’s Offer and Order APIs. Zeno users will be able to shop and book NDC offers through Zeno’s intuitive interface, alongside the ability to book complimentary or prepaid seats and cancel bookings in the platform. Zeno’s integration also enables users to mix and match NDC and EDIFACT fares in a single booking, helping to ensure corporates have access to the broadest possible set of options for their travelers.

Business travelers are often high frequency travelers with very specific needs and are a prime target group for the flexible, personalized content enabled by NDC. Integrating Sabre’s NDC APIs into corporate online booking tools has the potential of increasing demand for airlines’ NDC offers and accelerating the shift from traditional ATPCO/EDIFACT distribution to NDC connectivity.
