Everything about luxury bali tour.

A beautiful Indonesian Island, Bali is well-known for its gorgeous beaches, coral reefs, volcanic mountains, and iconic rice paddies. Because of its spectacular islands, it is not only one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world, but also considered as the Island of God. Surrounded entirely by azure seas and golden beaches, undoubtedly Bali is a paradise for surfers.

Bali - An Emotion in itself!

Bali is more than just a place - it’s an emotion, a tropical state of mind and an aspiration. The island is home to many religious sites such as cliffside Uluwatu Temple and is also well-known for its yoga and meditation retreats. The beachside city of Kuta in the south has buzzing bars, while Sanur, Seminyak, and Nusa Dua are famous resort towns.

The Island of Bali is a perfect holiday destination for all ages and offers something for everyone.  Not only just various customs but also offers various ‘adrenalin pump’ parks. There are a number of exciting amusements available in Bali, with something or the other opening all the time. As per the demand of many tourists, the number of inland and offshore attractions are on the rise. This tropical paradise possesses a distinctive mix of modern facilities for tourists with great shopping and rich heritage and past. After adventures like white water rafting which has captured popularity come ocean rafting or offshore rafting in Bali. More adventurous amusement has become an alternative sport for the visitors. Simultaneously, white water rafting is still a famous activity with trips on Telaga Waja, Ayung, Unda Rivers, etc. The visitors can rejuvenate their minds and soul by witnessing wonderful scenery en route. Some of the world’s best surfing beaches can be discovered on the western side of the island, while on the other hand, the eastern side is a beautiful paradise for families, with gorgeous white sand beaches and serene seas.

The Unique Culture

The rich and distinctive culture of Bali, from the processions of joyfully dressed locals, as they march towards one of the numerous temple ceremonies shutting down main roads, to the beautiful flower-petal offerings placed everywhere and mystical traditional dance and music, performed all over the island. Almost everything in Bali has a spiritual meaning attached to it. The middle Bali is dominated by the pronounced volcanoes of the central mountains as well as the hillside temples such as Pura Luhur Batukau. Gunung Agung, which is the tallest peak is the spiritual center of the island.

It is said that Balinese people have attained self-content. They are proud of having preserved their distinctive Hindu culture against the advance of Islam, which is the dominant religion throughout Indonesia. This is reflected in their everyday life and can be witnessed in plenty of ceremonies, festivals of Bali and majestic temples and palaces. Balinese people are proficient artisans, especially in woodcarving and in fabricating objects of tortoiseshell and of silver, gold, and other metals. Balinese people are renowned for their traditional dance, the unique music of the gamelan and for their proficiency in weaving cloth of silver and gold threads, Songket, and also for embroidering cotton and silk clothing. Traditional and modern paintings, stone and woodcarvings and intricately designed jewelry in silver and gold are easily available in galleries and shops throughout the Bali island.

The Essence of Bali

Bali is a compact island, situated between Java, the most influential as well as highly populated of all the islands, and Lombok, one of the quaint and laid-back islands. Just like many other islands, Bali has evolved a world of its own. It not only apprehends what is special about Indonesia but also has a distinctiveness of its own.

Yes, Bali boasts beaches, diving, surfing, and resorts whether great or small, however, it's the essence of Bali that makes it so much more than just a fun retreat. The Balinese people are indeed very genuine and generously warm. There's also a fun, artful sense of humor. Upon seeing a bald tourist, locals declare 'bung ujan', which means that the rain today is canceled. It is their way of saying that a head without hair is like a clear sky.

At the end, Bali's rich culture, many magnificent sights and truly adorable people are what takes Bali's absolute delight to another level. Bali is certainly fun, no matter who you are or what you want. So, dive deep in the spirit of Bali with our luxury Bali tours.

Best Places to Experience During Luxury Bali Tour

Indonesia’ undoubtedly the most famous island, Bali lives up to its reputation as the ultimate tropical paradise. Although in recent years, there are some areas in Bali that have endured over-commercialism, still there are places in Bali to visit that appear unperturbed by time. Known famously as the Island of the Gods, the culture of Bali is dominated by a distinctive form of Hinduism that is quite apparent in every aspect of life in Bali. From the daily offerings found in homes to the temples that embellish each corner of the island. There are a number of Bali travel agents that offer tourists with the treat of superb and authentic Bali tour packages. Whether it is about scuba diving in coral reefs, exploring the unique culture of the Balinese people, sunbathing on a wide stretch of beach or climbing an ancient volcano, Bali has a bit of heaven to offer every one of its visitors.

Perched on a huge rock, Tanah Lot is one of the most popular Hindu temples in Bali. The temple has been a part of Balinese mythology for many centuries. It is one of seven sea temples, each in close proximity to the other, forming a chain along the south-west coast of Bali. Since, Tanah Lot is quite a famous place in Bali to visit, the entire area can be hugely crowded, especially in the late afternoons and before sunset. The area between the beach and the car park which is adjacent to the temple is a hub of souvenir shops selling about any kinds of Balinese trinket you can ever imagine. Once you reach the beach, you can witness the majestic temple situated on a rock just a few metres offshore.

Situated among the terraced rice fields climbing up the foothills of Bali’s central mountains, Ubud is considered the cultural heart of the island. It is home to the island’s most significant museums, including the Neka Art Museum with its wide collection of Balinese paintings. Throughout the city, there are music and dance performances every day and a number of craft shops and art galleries to explore. Although the city has long been esteemed as a great place to learn about the culture of Balin, tourism in Ubud elevated exponentially after it was presented in the book and movie “Eat, Pray, Love.” Fortunately, it only takes a bicycle ride or a short walk to escape from all the crowds and commercialism. Ubud is surrounded by rice paddies creating a marvelous impression of greenness.

Situated on the southwestern coast of Bali, a small town of Seminyak has been embraced by the city of Kuta’s extensive growth. In Spite of its closeness to Kuta, Seminyak is one of the most special vacation destinations on the island. From its five-star restaurants and high-end boutiques to its luxury spas and hotels, the city draws travelers from around the globe. Although the surf is too risky for most swimmers, Seminyak Beach offers tourists sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and also of the professional surfers who fly to this area to ride the big waves too.

Pura Besakih

The highest mountain in Bali which is located on the slopes of Gunung Agung, Pura Besakih is considered the most significant of the “kahyangan jagat,” the 9 directional temples constructed to protect the island from evil. The temple has been named after the dragon god that is believed to be living within the depths of the mountain. The temple complex consists of over 28 structures constructed on 7 ascending terraces. Participating in an organized Bali tour is the best way to witness the site as the self-designated guides on the location can come out as aggressively demanding.

Kuta, which was once a quiet fishing village, gained popularity during the 1970s as a great spot for surfing, and has ever since remained Bali’s premier vacation destination. Situated on the southern point of the island in the village of Kelurahan, it is one of the most scenic as well as best-maintained beaches on the island. Famous for its active nightlife, the southern portion of the beach is usually overcrowded, whether it is day or night. However, a short walk to the north end of the beach offers tourists a quiet sense of solitude.

Mount Batur

Hundreds of tourists begin the trek, everyday in the predawn darkness of Bali, up the 1700 meter summit of Mount Batur to witness the sunrise above the extravagant mosaic of mist-covered mountains and the caldera far below. This holy active volcano is situated in Kintamani District in the central highlands of Bali, which is about an hour’s drive from Ubud. The hike to the summit to witness the sunrise has long honored the list of best things to experience in Bali. The trails to the hike are well-marked and is relatively easy and take about three hours.

Best Time to Visit Bali

Although, the preferences may vary as per the weather of Bali, but in general, the best time for Bali tour is considered to be from May to August. This is the time when humidity levels are at their lowest on the island. The air tends to be drier during this period and pleasant for overland sightseeing tours and outdoor activities. During this time, the skies in Bali are clear and blue making it perfect for outdoor and landscape photography.

Dry season in Bali starts from September 1 till September 15 and also remains during the month of July.

From September 16 to December 2 and January 9 to June 30, is the Low season in Bali.

Rainy season starts in October and continues till April.

The Peak season to visit Bali is considered to be August and from December 20 to January 9.

Hottest Time in Bali

In Bali, the hottest months are April and October, when daytime temperatures rises up to 32 degrees Celsius. In the coastal areas, humidity levels can reach up to 75%. The island sustains an ample 12 hours of sunlight with average daytime temperatures. During these times, it can range from 27 to 32 degrees Celsius. In the cooler highlands, meanwhile, the average daytime temperatures range from 21 to 27 degrees Celsius. During night time, this can drop sharply low.

Low Season in Bali

In terms of hotel bookings, the low season in Bali are roughly the first and last quarters - from January to March (right after the New Year), and October to November (the last quarter). Usually, December has a fair amount of holiday season bookings. Around these months, the wet weather of Bali also witnesses residents having their ponchos and umbrellas at hand.

Around this time, you can expect hotel rates to be lower as well as lesser crowds, together with a number of benefits on offer. Silent roads allow for faster time to access from hotel to sites of interest. The reason for this ‘silence’ is that much of the non-Balinese people departing from the island. Usually, they head home in rural areas for the holidays and rejoice with their families. This also holds true for certain national holidays. Muslim holy month of Ramdan is one such time of the year. It’s prime celebration is on the day of Idul Fitri or Eid-ul-Fitr.

The peak season in Bali usually tends to be around Christmas and New Year, i.e. from December 24 to January 5. Between July 1 and September 30, Bali experiences a dry season equivalent, which coincides with school holidays.

Staying Options During Bali Tour

Bali, undoubtedly, possesses the best range of accommodation in Indonesia.

Kuta has the cheapest staying options on the island and thus the backpackers tend to flock to Kuta. Although, the accommodation can prove to be quite noisy during night hours if it is located near a club.

Hotel Oka in Jalan Padma in Legian is one peaceful and clean place when it comes to cheaper options. It is situated only a kilometer away from the Kuta nightclubs and at walking distance from the beach.

A number of five-star resorts are located in Seminyak, Ubud and Nusa Dua.

In case you are looking for beaches and some quiet time, Jimbaran and Sanur offer a fairly happy compromise.

The ones who prefer spas and cultural pursuits over booze and surfing, Ubud’s resorts and hotels are the best options for them.

Legian, a city between Seminyak and Kuta, offers a good and wide range of accommodation.

Uluwatu is the newest area to begin offering a wide range of accommodation. The area boasts everything from opulent Bulgari Hotel to surfer bungalows.

Canggu, a district further north on the west coast offers a number of traditional villages set among wobbling rice fields and also a good range of accommodation as well.

Amed is another quiet fishing village situated on the east coast which has some good restaurants and hotels.

Best Foods to Try During Bali Tour

From the traditional famous babi guling which is a whole spit-roast pig to Chinese, Japanese, Thai and American fusion cuisine, there is always something to fill your stomach in Bali.

Try out the Potato Head Beach Club located in high-end Seminyak for some multicultural dining in an unconventional horseshoe-shaped building, or visit Gili Trawangan for the buzzing night market, where you can try grilled king prawns straight from the ocean.

Make sure to sample the Indonesian staple gado gado (salad of boiled vegetables and eggs) at least once on your Bali trip.

You can buy a 30-day visa on arrival for $35 USD. Money exchange at the airport can help you convert your currency. The departure fee you’ll be charged at the airport is 150,000 Rupiah (approx $17) . Only Rupiah will be accepted.

Australians are no longer required to pay $US 35 for a visa on arrival in Bali. Under a visa waiver program Australians are granted free entry into Indonesia for up to 30 days.

In general, Bali is a safe destination, and quite a few tourists encounter any real problems. However female travelers must remain cautious enough and avoid carrying handbags or riding scooters, especially in the Canggu - Seminyak area.

In the year 2016, there have been numerous reports of female tourists as well as local girls being pulled from scooters.

Although in recent years, the standards of healthcare and emergency facilities have greatly improved, they still remain below what most tourists would be accustomed to in their home country.

While minor injury and illness can be adequately treated in the extensive local clinics, majority of overseas tourists would not be really comfortable having serious problems dealt with in a local hospital. Therefore insurance coverage for emergency medical evacuation is a wise precaution.

In case a medical evacuation is needed, then patients are usually moved to Singapore or Perth in Australia. However, Indonesia's capital, Jakarta does have some high standard medical care facilities in case seeking medical attention at a nearby location.

Have Respect for Religious Customs

In Bali, religion rules the roost. Ensure to not get your knickers in a knot when a street is closed off for a ceremony or your driver gets over mid-trip to make a blessing – this is all part of the island’s magic.

Do Bargain But Respectfully

When in Bali, you can bargain for services and items, however, do so respectfully and with a smiling face. You’ll get to know when the vendor has reached his limit, and at this point don’t push it further. Whenever in doubt, just walk away. If the seller doesn’t care to come after you, you can get the hint that they aren’t ready to drop their price any lower.

Tips Are Not Expected, But Still You Should

The people of Bali are lowly paid, and yet are extremely hospitable and generous. If you happen to receive good service, a small tip is all you can do as a gesture. Learn to say thank you: 'terima kasih'. The locals really appreciate you learning a few Indonesian words.

Now that pandemic-induced lockdowns have mostly been lifted, the best resorts in Asia are once again welcoming visitors. This year's top scorers, according to the votes of Travel + Leisure readers, all seem to have one thing in common: extraordinary physical settings that offer the feeling of escaping into another world.

Every year for our World's Best Awards survey, T+L asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe — to share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Hotels (including safari lodges) were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. Properties were classified as city or resort based on their locations and amenities.

India earned five spots on the list, the most of any country represented. Among them is the Oberoi Vanyavilas Wildlife Resort (No. 6), a tented camp that's a short drive from Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan (famous for its population of tigers). "A beautiful property with world-class service," said one reader. Another mentioned the "perfect location" and the "tents, which are the extreme in luxury."

In Thailand, newcomer the Standard, Hua Hin (No. 7) has gained quite a following since it opened last December. In typical fashion for the youthful brand, the 199 guest rooms and villas are designed in a contemporary, minimalist style. The expansive pool deck is a popular hangout spot, thanks largely to the Lido Bar, where drinks and Thai snacks are served.

Three properties on Bali, Indonesia, made the list: the Alila Villas Uluwatu (No. 14), Capella Ubud, Bali (No. 3), and Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve (No. 5) — the latter owing to the fact it "truly represented a Balinese village," said one reader, who valued the resort's location along the Ayung River. Another mentioned the "human connection" of the staff: "Their personalized service is on another level. If you'd like to find a place to relax your mind, body, and soul in Ubud, this is the best sanctuary."

But the property that earned the highest scores from readers was Waldorf Astoria, Maldives Ithaafushi. Below, find out what readers had to say about it and which hotels joined it on this year's list of the best resorts in Asia.

1. Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, South Malé Atoll, Maldives

"Unforgettable" was one reader's impression of this year's winner. The resort is a short ride from the capital city, Malé — the property's yacht can transfer guests directly from the airport to the hotel in 45 minutes. Once there, they'll find what one T+L reader dubbed "the best luxury resort in the Indian Ocean." A series of overwater bungalows and beachfront villas are connected by wooden pathways stretching over the seemingly endless blue of the ocean. Even the smallest accommodations are huge by conventional standards ("Hands down the best standard room I have ever seen," said one reader), with guest villas starting at more than 2,500 square feet. Each comes with its own private pool, wooden deck, and garden. Eleven food and beverage outlets offer a range of cuisines, from Shanghainese at Li Long to Australian-inspired barbecue at the Ledge by Dave Pynt, helmed by the chef from the Michelin-starred Burnt Ends in Singapore.

Schengen-Style Visa For Southeast Asia? Thailand Favours Joint Visa Across Six Nations

Schengen-Style Visa For Southeast Asia? Thailand Favours Joint Visa Across Six Nations

In a move to promote seamless mobility across Southeast Asian countries, Thailand is leading an initiative for a joint visa programme spanning six nations. The proposed single visa would encompass Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, and Myanmar, collectively hosting 70 million tourists last year. Notably, Thailand and Malaysia contributed over half of this figure, clocking in USD 48 billion in tourism revenue.

Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin aims to streamline tourist entry by implementing a single visa for these six nations, thereby boosting tourist arrivals and maximising revenue per traveller. Targeting affluent long-haul holidaymakers, this initiative will enhance Thailand’s appeal as a tourist destination while also fortifying its aviation and logistics sectors. The Thai PM has also discussed this Schengen-like Single Visa with counterparts from Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia , and Myanmar in recent months.

Thailand’s Single Visa initiative: Key points

Thailand is steering an initiative for a joint-visa program with countries that together hosted about 70 million tourists last year https://t.co/95FtIIvWzl — Bloomberg (@business) April 6, 2024

The proposed Single Visa seeks to boost tourism in Thailand, a sector accounting for 20 percent of its total employment and contributing 12 percent to its USD 500 billion economy. The initiative aims to lure long-haul vacationers to extend their stays and explore multiple countries by offering a common visa for six regional nations. Marisa Sukosol Nunbhakdi, a former Thai Hotels Association president, suggests extending the visa validity from 30 to 90 days to make the offer more attractive.

Thai PM Thavisin aims to welcome 80 million tourists by 2027, with the government actively pursuing initiatives to achieve this goal. Recent efforts include signing reciprocal visa waivers with China and providing temporary visa waivers to passport holders from India, Kazakhstan, and Taiwan . Additionally, the government plans to promote event-based tourism and develop casinos with entertainment complexes as part of its tourism-centric strategies.

While the proposed venture promises to revolutionise tourist travel and the perception of holidays in the region, experts believe that bilateral visa-waiver agreements between individual nations may present fewer challenges in implementation.

What Client Say about us

We had a great time on our tour thanks to your very capable and kind staff. Special credit should go to Dennis for getting us around safely, making sure we had everything we needed, and being a generally great guy! We felt very well cared for.Thomas in Wayanad was very knowledgable, had excellent English skills, was happy to adapt the tour plans to our requests, and made a special effort to make sure we saw what we wanted to see there. In conversation he held his own very well with my professor husband who really appreciated his insights.Jeesu in Kannur did a great job getting us to an amazing Theyyam ritual, explaining what we were seeing, getting us behind the scenes to see the preparation of the performers, helping us communicate with the townspeople and performers. He also had excellent English skills.Jay in Cochi gave us a good tour in the very little time we had available, managing to get us in & out of a lot of sites while giving good histor

Julie Taberman (USA)

Hi Devender,

My trip to the Taj Mahal was wonderful. Vinod, the driver, was fantastic. He is very good natured, a good driver, and very knowledgeable about Delhi, Agra, and spots in between. He was also patient with waiting for us during multiple stops . he is an absolute pleasure and very happy to go the extra mile for clients.

Aarti was a great tour guide in Agra and also very personable. She gave a detailed tour of the Taj Mahal and knows the best spots to take photos. Aarti also knows a great deal about the area, including the local shops and restaurants

Thank you so much for making this wonderful experience.

I wish to thank you very much for all of your time and effort in this process of working with us on our India tour. Unfortunately, we have chosen another company to travel with in India. I do appreciate your efforts and I am sorry for the outcome. The tours and arrangements were fantastic We would be a reference for you.

Thank you!!!

leisure tours asia

Sorry I have taken so long. We are trying to sell our house & buy another one. I’m sure the problems we are encountering are universal. So, I appreciate your patience. the tour guides and driver were nothing short of amazing. You all made the trip most enjoyable. You came through on all your promises. We had never been  to India, & therefore wanted someone to take complete care of us, & you all did just that. I mean, picking us up in the middle of the night at the airport & dropping us in the middle of the night at the airport was above & beyond. I never expected that. I figured we would have to make our own ways by taxi or something. After hard days, your guys even volunteered to provide transport in the evening if we wanted to go somewhere for dinner. And the knowledge they shared with us about all aspects of India was truly remarkable. Thanks to you & your band of experts, we had a truly outstanding visit.

I want to take this opportunity to Thank You for arranging a wonderful trip to my friend and I.

We are so happy with the way you planned everything, we had a wonderful time in your lovely country.

The tour guys are very profesionals we learned a lot and felt secure all the time because they took such a good care of us, They all are wonderful. Specially Amir he suprise us with spanishtour . and Mr. Lalchand stolled our hearts he is very sweet and respecful person, he was always trying to make us smile and trying to may sure that we were happy and comfortable all the time. He provide us with water continuously and ask us if we need to stop to stretch and use the facilities. Every one was amazing.

One more thing “Thank You for transfer us to a different hotel in Jaipur” you promptly responds show how professionally you and your team are. We are bragging about our tour too all our friends, coworkers and family and we are recommending you with everyone that we know.

Thank You very much again.

7 Days Trip, 1 April 2014

Hi Devender, Many thanks Devender for your very professional services. The hotels as well as tour destinations were excellent. We very much appreciated Mr Gamini as our guide and his safe driving ability.

Thank you for your effort. the tour was excellent and we would certainly use your services again if we come to India. Ken Todd, X 2

I just wanted to drop you a line, to say how much we enjoyed the trip to Agra, the drivers the guys that met and escorted us were all fantastic, Navin Singh was brilliant, what a great guy, he is a real asset to you and your company, the tour guide was very good his narrative excellent. But all in all it was a great success, Navin was a highlight, charming guy.

Thank you for arranging such a rewarding trip.

I will certainly keep you in mind should we decide on a trip to Varanasi.

21 Feb 2014

The trip was excellent. Our travel guides in Delhi and especially in Agra (Arti) were excellent. Our driver SP Singh in Agra was also excellent.

The end to end arrangements from arrival at Mumbai airport to our return to the Mumbai conference at The Resort hotel were safe, secure, and enjoyable.

Thank you for your service.

I just wanted to say how great your travel company was to me. At first, I was so afraid I would get sick or be unable to walk well over in India, but I decided to give it a try. How happy I was! All the guides were great to me and so kind. Lal, our driver, was wonderful and safe as well.

Please tell everyone how much I loved them and thanks for the great experiences!

Also, thank you again for my lovely purse. Opera season starts next week and I will use it every time I go to the opera and will think of you.

You are very impressive!

23 Jan 2014

Hi Devender, I cannot say enough about the professionalism and attention to detail of you and your staff.

We loved India and the itinerary you put together.

Lalchand was an excellent driver, especially on the day we had a long ride. He was friendly and always helpful.

All the drivers, guides, and contact people were first-rate, and I want to especially mention Zahid and “J,” who helped Jeanne in Agra and Varanasi. She requires a slower pace than younger people, and they helped her up and down steps at the Taj and into a boat on the Ganges. We were also very happy with the guides in Gwalior, Delhi, and Khajuraho — they were knowledgeable and helpful. At Khajuraho our guide took the time to explain the temples in great detail and answer questions, so we were not just snapping beautiful photos without understanding.

We were pleased with the hotels as well; they were very comfortable. The service and food were excellent. The restaurants used off hotel property were superb as well.

I have only one minor suggestion. Given our arrival back to Delhi the night before the international flight, we wondered about staying at an airport hotel instead of back at Justa, just for convenience.

Thank you again for putting together a trip that exceeded our expectations and allowed us to experience your great nation.

10 Jan 2014

Sorry I didn’t respond sooner. I meant to, but got busy with other things.

I just wanted to say how very pleased I was with the tour. I really enjoyed the flexibility of the driver and the tour guides. For example, I was able to skip Fatapur Sikri since I had already seen it, and was able to see the bird sanctuary instead. I like how you were able to readjust my itinerary in Delhi as well. I thought all of the guides were really informative and took me to the most interesting places. I particularly enjoyed my guide in Jaipur the most. I thought he did a great job.

My driver was excellent. I thought he did an amazing job, was always on time, and I liked that he made sure I had plenty of water. I thought all my hotels were excellent, although I didn’t care for the food at the Tiger Resort. But the hotel manager was very nice, so I appreciated that. Overall I loved the tour and thought I saw everything I wanted to see. You were very organized and very professional. I might not make it back to India for a while, but I would recommend you to my friends and family.

Thanks again,

We are sorry it took so long to get back to you we have been extremely busy with the continuation of our trip. Thank you so much for making our vacation in New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur truly incredible. You made the entire experience very special, every aspect of our trip you handled was perfect, from the pick up at the airport to our final departure in Jaipur was excellent. The hotels that were selected were all what we expected and more. Our driver is the best, we could not have asked for anyone better, extremely warm and friendly and most helpful in every way. He took extremely good care of us and treated us like family.

The guides that assisted us were also very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and did everything possible to make our tours a special experience. We would highly recommend you and your wonderful team to anyone traveling in India as a truly exceptional, professional and caring team. Wishing you the very best regards!

Thank You!!!!

15 Dec 2013

We enjoyed the trip that you planned, The guides and drivers were excellent. The hotels were fine with one exception. The things that you controlled were wonderful. If we come to India again, I will surely contact you.

18 Dec 2013

Everything was wonderful devender. The driver was awesome and the taj guide was amazing. The others were good too, but I needed to mention the others as their service was unbelievable.

Mumbai – Agra – Delhi – Goa Trip

14 Nov 2013

We just wanted you to know we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to and from Agra. Your team of people are excellent at what they do, friendly, professional and best of all flexible. They all went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We would certainly book another trip with you and thinking we can return to India in a few years. I will contact you when we are in position to begin our planning. Linear

It was a very long time ago–last April–when Sally Clifford and I were travelling in the “Golden Triangle” with Central India Tours. I just now re-discovered your address. And so I want to write now–belatedly–to thank you for everything you did to ensure our maximum comfort and enjoyment when in India. The arrangements were all really wonderful (with the one exception of the Tiger Safari Lodge). We were very pleased overall with our tour.

We especially want to commend the excellent driving and tour services and skills of DP All the tour guides were capable and fine, but we spent the most time with DP our driver, and learned much about India from him. In addition, we enjoyed his very good humor and courteous attention. Please extend our thanks to all, but especially to him.

We will be pleased to recommend Central India Travel to friends who are heading your way.

With very best wishes from Sally Clifford and Caroline Aldrich Langen

Yes, we are home and we had a wonderful trip to India! We can’t thank you and your associates enough. Everything we planned worked out perfectly! There were no problems. The guides in each city were professional, knowledgeable and caring. We enjoyed each of them and learned so much about India’s fascinating history and culture! Each one also made sure we were comfortable, taking care of restroom needs, water and money. However, we want to especially comment on our driver. He was fabulous!!! We were with him for 5 days and really cannot tell you how much we appreciated him. His driving skills were outstanding and he made even my husband comfortable when driving in a completely different environment from what we are used to. He was also professional and extremely caring, making sure all our needs were met. He was always exactly where he said he would be and always on time. By the time we left we felt we were family and I find myself thinking about him even now that we are home. I cannot imagine that you could have any better driver in your company. I will certainly be recommending your company to any of our friends who want to visit India, and our daughter who wants to bring her husband and children next time will call on your services again. Again many thanks for a wonderful experience. We could never have done it without you.

18 Sep 2013

I would like to take this opportunity to say that Keshav was the most careful, considerate driver, who always made sure I was taken care of at all times, he is an excellent driver, you must be proud of him:-))

I would also like to mention that Amir was an excellent guide while in Agra, also kind and considerate at all times, who also advised me on what to be aware of, another great employee you have as well as Jay in Agra, very polite, has a great sense of humor, also very helpful and protective of me at all times, your employees are a huge credit to you.

the first 2 hotels were very comfortable, clean with great food Nd service.

Once again thank you for a wonderful holiday and bestowing your wonderful staff to take care of me, I will miss Keshav :-))

Helen and I had a wonderful time in both Delhi and Agra!

The folks who met us at the airports / hotels were very friendly, professional, personable and courteous.

The driver was very friendly, also very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about India (not just where we were) from him. A wonderful man – we laughed a lot! The car was perfect. the A/C worked well, it was comfortable and quiet.

Our Dehli tour guide was super knowledgeable about Delhi and its monuments / streets. We had a (very hot) lovely day. Although, due to jet lag and having worked very late the night before, we were tired, and the heat got to us. We therefore didn’t experience everything on our agenda. Delhi is a wonderful, busy city, and I hope I can visit again to see the rest of it.

Our Agra tour guide was equally as impressive. His knowledge of the city, the history and the buildings was first rate. He also went out of his way to make sure we took some of the important “standard” pictures, which are some of my favorites (including the Taj Mahal reflected in the garden fountain). He introduced us to some of the local artisans, and as a result I did my part to prop up the Agra economy! 🙂

I have recommended your company to several people already, and will be sure to contact you again when I’m next in India, to make sure I get to see more of your fantastic country.

Many thanks,

8 June 2013

We thank you all for the great time we had during our holidays in Rajasthan. Though it was burning hot, the driver and his assistant, all the guides and the people at the hotels and the family at the Haveli were wonderful and sweet. A very few tourists and plenty of space, so everybody was enthusiastic and we shared great moments. Thanks again for this great organization.

19 May 2013

We must give you a very big thank you as you and your team ensured that our first visit to India and Katmundu was such a tremendous success and a really wonderful experience.

From our earlier exchange of emails where you tailored our itinery and programme we already had good vibes about this adventure and must congratulate you and all your staff as the most professional and caring people we were privileged to meet during our 2 week tour, always giving us kid glove treatment. First and foremost thanks to our wonderful driver Shyam who constantly kept us entertained during our 11 days and 1800 kms drive in India with his long term experience about the local peoples, customs religions and politics and also the agriculture and local life. All this whilst silky smooth driving us safely through many times chaotic traffic in cities highways and the winding narrow local roads – always with a smile and good humour.

Every stop we were met by your local friendly caring managers and the very knowledgeable local guides – the Jaipur guide JK was particularly outstanding with his knowledge and way of expressing things and also his sense of humour – we really enjoyed him and especially his advise that there are 485 different snakes in India and all found in one place – at the parliament in New Delhi !!

Also in Katmundu we were well cared for with good people especially our careful driver and extremely knowlegeable guide there.

All our hotels were all first class – especially the Samode Haveli in Jaipore staying with the Maharaj in his wonderful old palace – probably the most exotic room/suite that we have ever stayed in throughout our life long World travels. The Samode Palace was also very nice and also a good place to relax with a great modern swimming pool deck area set in its mountain backdrop.

Agra Wyndham Grand was also first class as well as the Soalter Crowne Plaza in Katmundu. But the Justa Residence hotel in Delhi also a first class boutique hotel with very friendly staff and good food.

Highlights of our trip

1) Ranthambhore National Park where we followed a big tigress up a stream only 20 to 40m away for almost an hour and the final charge at some grazing impala – she missed ! Having lived for 50 years in South Africa we have seen many wild animals but none as beautiful as this tiger. 2) Jaipur City with its bustling crowds and a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours of the ladies dresses plus beautiful old buildings and city walls and elaborate gates. .Next morning a ride up to the wonderful Amber Palace on elephants – a marvelous experience and the very interesting palace and fortifications. Then a visit to the historical observatory – most interesting. 3) Agra – Taj Mahal – just wonderful and the large fort visit. 4) Delhi with its very contrasting New Delhi colonial capital buildings, and Old Delhi with its magnificent Red Fort and the beautifl old Jama Masjid Mosque and the Qutab Minar tower built in 1199. The bike rickshaw ride through the narrow alleys of Old Delhi was a most erotic experience of bustle sights and smells. 5) Katmundu – a great experience of old religious cultures – but much more polluted than India !

Highlight was the return flight to Delhi above the clouds and 30 mins flight parallel to the Himalaya’s seeing Mount Everest, Annupurna and the other great peaks. Wow what an experience and we will be back and certainly only using Central Tours of central India.

Thanks again.

We are finally “home sweet home” in the Napa Valley, California, from our wonderful, exciting India adventure, and we cannot thank you enough! Our driver Keshav was absolutely the best!!! We could not have been more pleased! He was always on time, friendly and the most excellent driver. We rewarded him nicely and we will certainly request him again when we come back to India!

Every guide we had was fantastic. We loved being with each of your guides in every city – great English speakers, knowledgeable with lots of enthusiasm, showing us the beautiful sites! We appreciated everything! These were truly world-class guides who love their jobs!

Devender, we thank you so much for all your kindness and attention to detail. Our trip was perfect – and you can be sure I will be writing very good things about you and your tour company – both on your website and Trip Advisor. We will tell our many friends about your tours too!

The palace hotels were wonderful – and we got big upgrades to suites at the Rambagh Palace and the Nanargarh Palace. We also upgraded ourselves at the Shiv Niwas Palace to the big suite, with a balcony on the lake, in Udaipur. We were thrilled to stay in Palaces!

Don has been in the hospitality business for 40 years – and he was quite pleased with how beautifully you set up our trip, and how you made sure that we were happy every step of the way. That is quite a recommendation for you.

We are frequent global travelers, and we send you our sincere thanks for a world class trip!

All the best to you and your family!

All arrangements were perfect.

Thanks again

We have had a great time to our trip. Thank you so much for arranging everything.

30 April 2013

Now departing for Dubai and then to Europe.

We willl send you a South African reference for your website in a couple of weeks time – after a fantastic first visit to India with very professional and friendly staff of local managers drivers and selected guides. All 110% top rate.

29 April 2013

Hello once more! Firstly we would like to send our grateful thanks for the gifts you gave us when we met in Agra. Secondly we also send our thanks for the quality of the service we received from all members of your company. The guides were very knowledgeable in all the locations although sometimes the number of details and dates they provided caused us (old) pair some mental indigestion! The standard of accommodation was very good everywhere.

The drivers were excellent, and in the case of Mr Shivpal Singh Jodha his local knowledge rendered guides almost superfluous!

Overall we had a wonderful tour if a little exhausting for oldies like us! We will be recording our impressions on the Tripadvisor web site and you and your team can be assured that our report will be very favourable.

Once again all our thanks and best wishes to you and your company.

11 March 2013

We have return home with all our purchases, lots of photographs and memories that will stay with us all our life’s even with the photographs are lost. Brian and I would like to thank you and your team in making our holidays in India truly incredible. We will definitely recommend your services to our friends and colleagues.

We will keep in touch soon to plan our next vacation to India . Once again

Thank You Very Much.

The hotels were very good except for the Parkland in Delhi. The Gateway in Agra, The Fern in Jaipur, and Justa The Residence in Delhi were very nice. The Gateway is particularly pleasant.

The guides in Agra and Jaipur were also very good, as was Arun, our driver. I understand there was to be a guide in Delhi on our last day who didn’t show up, but Arun managed very well.

We were particularly impressed with Qutb Minar, Jama Masjid, Humayan’s Tomb, Taj Mahal, Itimad-ud-Daulah, Agra Fort, and the Amber Fort. Overall it was a very interesting and lovely trip.

19 Feb 2013

The tour was great, and the second and third tour guides in particular were exceptionally good.

Other than that we were pleased with our tour and I would recommend it.

Many Thanks.

Back in Delhi now after our excellent tour of Agra and the Taj Mahal that you arranged for us. I’m sure many people considering the same tour would like to know that everything about it was MORE than promised.

Our guide was courteous and informed, our driver excellent, our accommodation 5 star and the organisation to the minute. In this era of internet booking, with all its guesswork, our decision to tour with you was a perfect one. We’ll do it again.

We had a great time on our tour thanks to your very capable and kind staff. Special credit should go to Dennis for getting us around safely, making sure we had everything we needed, and being a generally great guy! We felt very well cared for.

Thomas in Wayanad was very knowledgable, had excellent English skills, was happy to adapt the tour plans to our requests, and made a special effort to make sure we saw what we wanted to see there. In conversation he held his own very well with my professor husband who really appreciated his insights.

Jeesu in Kannur did a great job getting us to an amazing Theyyam ritual, explaining what we were seeing, getting us behind the scenes to see the preparation of the performers, helping us communicate with the townspeople and performers. He also had excellent English skills.

Jay in Cochi gave us a good tour in the very little time we had available, managing to get us in & out of a lot of sites while giving good histor
