The Cruise Director assignments and schedule is subject to change as the needs aboard different ships change. Schedules often overlap with another Cruise Director at the beginning and end assignments. This allows the new Cruise Directors to become accustomed to a new ship, and learn what activities and entertainment the ship offers.

The schedules are fluid and may also have gaps that will be filled closer to the actual calendar date in the future. Many famous cruise directors are not currently on the assignment schedule. This often only means they may be on vacation leave or haven’t finalized a contract commitment yet.

This schedule can change frequently, and if you want to sail with a particular cruise director, you should  check the schedule regularly  to learn where your favorite cruise director may be assigned.

Carnival Cruise Director Schedule 2024 – 2025

The smooth sailing experience on Carnival cruises is possible due to adept directors. In a Carnival fleet every cruise has two or three directors that are responsible for smooth sailing. 

In today’s article I have shared the latest Carnival Cruise director schedule which is valid up to 2025. With this latest schedule you can see when a new director start supervising the cruise. 

The CEO of Carnival Cruise line Josh Weinstein state that the new Carnival director schedule is available across Carnival fleet and accessible to all the public.

Carnival Cruise Director Schedule

#1 carnival jubilee cruise director .

KNYNDALL FIRE is proficient managing skills, she will work parallel with cruise ship’s entertainment director Matthew Boyd to provide most entertaining and relax atmosphere. 

She was recently managing the Mardi Gras, and also serve on other Carnival cruises including Horizon, Vista, and other ships.

She is a dedicated lady and know how to tackle the staff and create a positive atmosphere on vessel.

#2 Carnival Vista Cruise Director

The TJ PARTIDA is a Socialite, this person love to parties, a very decent and tactful personality. He became the Carnival Vista director on July 29. 

Lawrence West is a well declined person you will never find any chaos and unusual environment during his working tenure. Marty Pitts is a famous and cheerful personality who will join the Vista on Feb 11. 

#3 Carnival Breeze Cruise Directors 

The director schedule for Carnival Breeze is now roll out, the Alex Siegler will be the first director to mange the thing on vessel. Lawrence West will join the cruise on Feb 11 2024, and in April Andre Mercer will lead the cruise crew. 

#4 Carnival Dream Cruise Directors 

Carnival Dream is one of the famous cruise among the fleet, it has skillful team of crew and directors for providing a smooth sailing experience. 

The new Carnival Dream directors scheduled is out there. First Simon London joined the team on June 17, 2023. The TYLER MEEHAN will join the vessel twice; on Nov 4 2023, and April 6 2024. All the directors are very friendly and cheerful. 

#5 Carnival Freedom Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Freedom has talented cruise directors. The TODD EVANS will take the hold on Nov 6, 2023, after him ERIN WEIGAND will join the cruise on Feb 12, 2024. 

#6 Carnival Celebration Directors 

Carnival Celebration is one of the notable cruise among the fleet and it has few more directors to lead the crew. The Chris Williams was first director appointed on July 23, 2023. 

Chris Williams will rejoin on Jan 7, 2024 after Lee Mason. The Joseph Boyes will start the tenure on Jan 10, 2024 Until Lee Mason. 

#7 Carnival Elation Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Elation directors schedule is available to to public. All the directors of Carnival Elation are magnificent personalities.

The Gabriel Coppolla is a trailblazer who joined the vessel on Aug 26, 2023. He will be replaced by Zackary Paiement-Dockrill on January 13, 2024, and he will again handle the things after a month. 

 #8 Carnival Conquest Cruise Directors 

Zackary Paiement-Dockrill joined the team on May 5, 2023 and he will for next five months. After him the Robby Howell will appoint as a Carnival Conquest director on Dec 10, 2023. 

#9 Carnival Horizon Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Horizon has brings famous Cruise directors. First up, the Leon Smith is enlisting as a cruise director on August 5, 2023. He will be replace by Joseph Boyes on November 5, 2023, and then Leo Smith will be back onboard. 

#10 Carnival Legend Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Legend has legendary team of cruise directors who take care of things like a pro. Cam Chavis is director to join the team on June 4, 2023, after him Dustin Gabriel will step onboard on January 7, 2024. 

The cheerful Chris Williams will be the next cruise director on May 23, 2024. 

#11 Carnival Glory Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Glory is all about having and fun, it’s full of entertainment and amenities. The Carnival Glory cruise directors plays a major role in providing a luxury experience to guest. 

First Jake Miller joined on August 20, 2023. Next Amber Lynne Celen will take the hold on October 29, and she will then replace by Cam Chavis. 

#12 Carnival Liberty Cruise Directors

Everyone knows Adam Gilbert a very hospitable and welcoming person. On May 22, 2023 he was assigned as a director or Carnival Liberty and he will again join the cruise on January 15, 2024.  

Stjepan Neral is another warm-hearted director to join the team on October 13, 2023. 

#13 Carnival Magic Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Magic has excellent board of directors that know how to provide unforgettable cruising experience to guests. The Dustin Gabriel was first to step onboard on July 2, 2023. After him, Michael D’Auria will be the next director assign on September 24, 2023. 

On January 13, 2024, Jake Miller a famous personality will tackle the things right until May 19, 2024. 

#14 Carnival Luminosa Cruise Directors

If you’re planning to sail on Carnival Luminosa you’re in a safe hands. The Carnival Luminosa brings the most talented and diligent directors. 

The Neil Macmillan ha been smoothly running the things since May 4, 2023, the Simon London was the second director assigned on September 8. Till now both directors earn lot of respect and praise from guests. 

The Rainier Scholtz will be the next director take the lead on November 12, 2023. The Louis Clare will replace the Rainier on January 21, 2024. After him Simon London again take care of vessel until July 25, 2024. 

#15 Carnival Miracle Cruise Directors

The Carnival Miracle has two most famous directors. Both are friendly and responsible personalities. 

The Louis Clare joined the vessel on July 24, and till now he is handling everything on cruise. After him, the Felipe Serrina Do Couto will be the next director to serve the cruise until March 26, 2024.

#16 Carnival Mardi Gras Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Mardi Gras has most talent group of directors. The Jacky Tang is assign as director of Mardi Gras on July 1, due to his untapped managing skills. He will continue working until Jonathan “Cookie” Adams takes the role on November 4, 2023. 

Joseph Boyes will be the next director replace Jonathan on January 23, 2024. 

#17 Carnival Paradise Cruise Directors 

The Carnival picked the top notch directors for its Paradise lineup. Every directors is dutiful person who knows how to take care to crew and create a peaceful atmosphere onboard. 

The Todd Evans is the first person who joined the staff on August 13,  after him the talented John Loney is the next director ready to join the cruise on October 24, 2023. 

The Amber Lynne Celen will take the role until June 16, 2024. 

#18 Carnival Radiance Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Radiance has very relaxed environment this is all due the Erin Weigand that started managing the things on August 15, 2023. After her, Rainier Scholtz will be the next director to tackle the staff until September 18, 2023.

After him, the Ricardo Alfonso Betancourt Lopez is the cruise director, he will serve the vessel until January 19, 2024. 

#19 Carnival Pride Cruise Director 

The Carnival Pride has compassionate cruise directors. 

Currently, Frankie Portera is serving the vessel until November 12, 2023. Then, Neil Macmillan will take the role on November 3, 2023. But Frankie will come back again on January 28, 2023. 

#20 Carnival Splendor Cruise Directors

Seeing the skillful and friendly behavior of Marty Pitts the Carnival announced her a director of Carnival Splendor on July 31, 2023. After her the Savannah Mitchell will take the roll and his tenure will ends on March 3, 2024.

#21 Carnival Spirit Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Spirit has responsible directors, if you’re planning to sail via Carnival Spirit you’re in good care. 

The Erin Weigand is most famous personality among the Carnival fleet directors, she joined the Carnival Spirit on August 15, 2023, after her the Alex Siegler will take the roll on November 11, 2023. 

#22 Carnival Sunrise Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Sunrise is famous for extra fun and entertainment and all the credit goes to hardworking staff and the directors. Currently, Tyler Meehan is serving the cruise after him the Georgia Craig will be the next director until December 11, 2023.

The Charlie bates will be assign on December 12, her working tenure on Sunrise will be end on February 1 2024. 

#23 Carnival Sunshine Cruise Directors 

One the most cheerful personal Jasper Wade assign the roll of Carnival Sunshine director on August 5, 2023. I have heard lot of appreciation for him. James love will replace the Jasper Wade on October 14, 2023, and will rejoin the Sunshine on April 13, 2024. 

#24 Carnival Venezia Cruise Directors

Carnival Venezia just join the Carnival fleet, with Italian style sailing it provides enchanting atmosphere. 

The director who first join the roll was Marq Anthony, Marq will remain in service until September 7, 2024. In between his working tenure the Joseph Boyes will take care of things between 8/31/2023 – 10/28/2023. 

After Marq, the Lee Mason will be the next director and he will work until January 12, 2025. 

#25 Carnival Valor Cruise Directors 

You will see the notable group of directors on Carnival Valor. The Genius Austin Morris is currently running the vessel until October 21, 2023.

From there Jasper Wade will continue to provide smooth sailing experience to guest, he will remain the director until January 4, 2024. 

After that the Austin Morris will come back and his directory tenure will ends on April 6, 2024. Louis Clare will then take the roll of vessel and will serve it until November 2024. 

#26 Carnival Panorama Cruise Directors 

The Carnival Panorama Cruise director schedule is out there. Christian “Deon” Williams an optimistic personality join the team on July 15, and he will be replace by Gerry Berrones on October 7. But fortunately Christian will come back on January 7 2024 and serve the vessel.

The Carnival Cruise director have different wages based on their experience in the on the vessel. On an average their monthly salary $7k / month or $92K / year.

This is a an average estimate of their salary. All this includes base pay, bonuses, commission, and profit sharing etc.

How many cruise directors does Carnival have?

There are almost 25 cruise in Carnival fleet, and almost 30 to 40 directors that shuffles with every cruise voyage.

The Carnival pre planned the director schedules to avoid clashes in future. However, the active director may vary at the current time due their short contracts.

One of the most common questions I receive and see asked on cruise boards and social media sites is: Who will my cruise director be? To which there are always several follow up questions asked by new cruisers to the effect of: What the heck is a cruise director? Well I’m here to answer both of those questions! First…

What does a Cruise Director do?

Besides not sleep, smile through exhaustion and frustration, and dish out almost as many corny jokes as yours truly? Quite a lot! In fact, cruise directors are the most visible crew members onboard a cruise ship and often work up to 16 hours per day with no days off during their contract period (usually lasting around 4 months, but up to 9 months in some cases). While passengers will see them constantly out and about introducing shows, MC’ing activities and events, and interacting with guests, they are also responsible for behind-the-scenes scheduling and coordination of all entertainment and activities and certain safety protocols.

Many regular Carnival cruisers have a favorite cruise director they look forward to sailing with. So, let’s get to our second question, who will the cruise director be on my Carnival cruise?

Carnival splendor review, review of carnival splendor.

The 2008-built Carnival Splendor cruise ship belongs to Costa's Concordia-class liners - with sisterships Concordia (sunk in 2012), Favolosa , Fascinosa , Serena and Pacifica . Splendor was the largest "Fun Ship" until the debut of Carnival Dream in 2009.

The vessel (IMO number 9333163) is currently Panama- flagged (MMSI 372808000) and registered in Colon .

It was first announced that the ship would be repositioned to China in early 2019, then transferred to the fleet of P&O Australia in late 2019. At the end of September 2017 CCL officially announced that Splendor stays with Carnival.

History - construction and ownership

Carnival Cruise Lines (CCL) is a USA shipping company, trademarked brand and subsidiary of Carnival Corporation (shipowner). CCL was founded in 1972 as an independent company by Ted Arison (1924-1999, co-founder of NCL Norwegian ).

CCL has the Corporation's largest fleet as number of vessels and GT-tonnage (ship sizes/volumes and passenger capacities). In 2023, CCL had ~9% (by revenue) and ~19% (passengers) share of the cruise industry's worldwide market. In 2024, the parent company (Carnival Corporation) had ~51% stake in the US$64+ billion industry.

The 3006-passenger ship Carnival Splendor is a big ship with a huge personality, which has already set herself apart in grand style. For first-time cruisers, Splendor has inaugurated a new cabin category, the spa cabin. The retractable sky cupola that covers Carnival Splendor's pool deck is also a novelty for Carnival. With Carnival Splendor, the line introduced its first-ever route in the Baltic and South America, a remarkable expansion for the fleet.

Decks and Cabins

Carnival Splendor staterooms (1508 total, in 33 categories) include 54 Suites, 537 Balcony, 363 Oceanview and 585 Inside cabins, most of which are sized 170-185 ft2 / 16-17 m2. CCL Splendor ship also has 66 Cloud 9 Spa cabins and 29 wheelchair-accessible cabins. Most cabin balconies are sized 35 ft2 / 3 m2. The largest are the Captain’s Suites (500 ft2 / 46 m2 plus 200 ft2 / 19 m2 terrace) accommodating up to 5 passengers.

The boat has 13 passenger decks , of which 8 are with cabins.

Shipboard dining options - Food and Drinks

Carnival Splendor offers everything that's become a cruise industry standard, along with innovative surprises: a superb alternative restaurant, Indian tandoori grill, sushi bar, and stir-fry station. The premium coffee bar and Pinnacle supper club are the only onboard venues that come with an extra charge. The rest are all included in the fare you pay. Splendor's MDRs - The Gold Pearl and The Black Pearl, are grandiose dining venues. Dinner tables are assigned and the majority can accommodate 4-6-10 diners. Seatings are at 6 pm and 8:15 pm, orchestrated like a fine watch. Everyone knows it is time to say goodnight when Splendor's maitre d' starts singing and waiters jump up to dance on the tables.

• The Black Pearl Restaurant (744-seat forward Dining Room, with two fixed dinner seatings and Your Time Dining; offers Seuss At Sea-themed breakfast for $5)
• The Gold Pearl Restaurant (1122-seat aft Dining Room, with two fixed dinner seatings and open seating for Breakfast and Lunch)
• Splendido Lido Buffet Restaurant (1396-seat, self-service buffet restaurant with various food stations; operates as a bistro in the evenings)
• The Pinnacle Steakhouse (108-seat, reservations only specialty restaurant for steaks and seafood, with dance floor and live music)
• California Roll Sushi (sushi bar, complimentary)
• Fahrenheit 555 (added in 2019) is where guests can try the finest aged beef, that is seared to exact specifications to lock in flavor at the precise temperature of 555 deg. Fahrenheit. Set in an elegant setting and offering a menu of some of the best cuts, Fahrenheit 555 is the best venue for celebrating special occasions or indulging in the evening. The upscale steakhouse incurs an additional charge.
• Masala Tiger (added in 2019) is a new modern dining concept created with the Australian palette in mind. It offers an authentic dining experience with Tandoori-style cooking. Passengers can enjoy a selection of chargrilled veggies and meats, curries, and naan bread fresh from the oven. The menu is included in the cruise fare and changes daily. Masala Tiger is to be located in the adults-only Serenity Retreat, also sheltering a nearby bar and Carnival Deli.
• Seafood Shack (added in 2019) is a seaside spot featuring New England-style, where passengers can tuck into a serving of fish and chips, Lobster BLT, or enjoy oysters, all at an additional charge.
• Pizzeria del Capitano (added in 2019) pays homage to Italian heritage of a lot of Carnival Captains. The pizzeria features hand-made pizzas with imported Italian flour, delectable toppings, and fresh mozzarella, all included in the cruise price.

Shipboard entertainment options - Fun and Sport

Carnival Splendor marks a new class of ship for Carnival. One of her most awesome features is the luxury, 21,000-square-foot spa, the most elaborate in the fleet. Pan-Asian in design, the Cloud 9 Spa spans on two decks and features a state-of-the-art fitness center which rivals any other at sea. There are many beauty and health rooms for treatment, as well as the first Thalassotherapy pool. With 24 lounges and bars, outdoor movies, a water slide and a singing maitre d', Splendor delivers exactly what Carnival cruisers expect: fun. Splendor's shipboard entertainment is not confined to evenings. Live music is all over the ship, day and night.

Itineraries

Carnival Splendor itinerary program was initially based on departures from NYC New York (to Canada/New England and the Caribbean), from Miami Florida (to Eastern and Western Caribbean), as well as roundtrips to The Bahamas, Caribbean and Cruises to Nowhere out of Norfolk VA .

In 2019, the ship was repositioned from Los Angeles USA to Australia (homeport Sydney NSW ) for year-round deployment. Operations for Carnival Australia started in November 2019, following the relocation voyage from Singapore to Sydney NSW. In Singapore, the liner was drydock-refurbished and new dining options were added for the Australian source market. It was previously suggested that Splendor in 2019 would join the P&O Australia fleet.

• Bookings on Carnival Splendor's Australia 2019 program (departures November 25 through December 28) were opened on March 23, 2018.
• The Asia-Australia repositioning itinerary visited Indonesia (Benoa Bali, Komodo Island) and Darwin AU.

From Australia, Carnival Splendor initially offered 3 itineraries (Sydney roundtrips) to South Pacific islands.

• 8-NIGHT (2 sea days, Noumea, Lifou, Isle of Pines, 2 sea days), from AUD 1130 pp / double inside cabin rates
• 9-NIGHT (2 sea days, Noumea, Mare, Lifou, 3 sea days), from AUD 1649 pp / double inside cabin rates
• 9-NIGHT (2 sea days, Isle of Pines, Mare, Lifou, 2 sea days), from AUD 1699 pp / double inside cabin rates.

The longest Carnival cruise ever was the 24-night Transpacific crossing on Splendor - departing on October 5, 2019, from LA-Long Beach CA. The ship crossed the Pacific Ocean to Asia (Singapore), arriving on October 30. After extended stops in Honolulu and Maui, the liner visited Guam and Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), then Saigon (Vietnam) - all the 3 ports were first for CCL (never visited before). The relocation cruise also featured the traditional ceremony held during International dateline crossings. Prices started from just USD 1650 pp ($69 pp per day) with double occupancy.

As part of the "Carnival Journeys" itinerary program (offering longer enrichment voyages), in 2018 (August 25 - September 8) Carnival Splendor operated a 14-day roundtrip Alaskan cruise from Long Beach (Los Angeles) California. The itinerary featured Hubbard Glacier and Icy Strait Point (day-long stay, whale and bear watching, world's longest zip-line). The list of onboard activities included Alaska-themed cultural and culinary events and themed seminars (photography, arts, crafts, cooking, celestial navigation). The list of Alaskan shore excursion included hiking, sea kayaking, canoeing, helicopter flightseeing tours, lake snorkeling. In 2017 (September 2-16), Carnival Miracle operated company's first-ever roundtrip to Alaska from California.

Due to the Coronavirus crisis, the CCL Splendor ship was paused for 2+ years (March 2020 thru May 2022), and was planned to restart from Sydney NSW on May 31st. Splendor's Australia 2022 itinerary program was based on:

• 3-day Getaways (themed cruises to nowhere )
• 4-day Tangalooma - Moreton Island
• 5-day Tasmania (Port Arthur, Hobart)
• 8-9-10-days "Great Barrier Reef" (Airlie Beach, Cairns, Port Douglas, Willis Island, Moreton Island, Willis Island)
• 8-10-11-12-days "South Pacific Islands" (New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji/including Dravuni Island )
• 10-12-days "New Zealand" (Wellington, Lyttelton-Christchurch, Port Chalmers-Dunedin, Fiordland NP)

However, in early-February 2022, Splendor's Australian schedule 2022 (June 10-Sept 26) and Carnival Spirit 's Australian schedule (June 5, 2022, through October 5, 2023) were both canceled. Carnival Splendor was redeployed to Alaska (May 2-August 30), and the Australian program was scheduled to start from Sydney on Oct 9th. Carnival Spirit was redeployed to the Caribbean and homeported in Jacksonville Florida (March 7th thru April 9th), then to Alaska from Seattle (May 3-Sept 13).

In Spring 2018, Splendor was repositioned to Asia for roundtrips from China. Carnival Asia operations are a partnership between Carnival Cruise Lines and Costa Asia. The second Carnival ship in Asia was Carnival Spirit (2017-2018 winter season only).

Carnival Splendor Wiki

Fun Ship 2.0 upgrade was done in 2016. Splendor is Carnival's sole vessel of Costa Cruises Concordia-class liners, with sisterships Concordia , Serena , Pacifica , Fascinosa , Favolosa .

The vessel has Fincantieri Sestri Ponente yard/hull number 6135, volume 113573 GT-tons, DWT-deadweight tonnage 11553 tons, max draught 8,3 m. The powerplant is based on Wartsila marine diesel engines (model 12V46C) with combined output 75,6 MW (101380 hp).

In December 2016, Carnival announced that Splendor will be transferred to P&O Cruises Australia in late 2019. However, in 2017 this decision was canceled.

Fun Facts: this ship was originally designed to be part of Costa Cruceros fleet. That is why the boat has the largest Spa installed on a Fun Ship (2-deck area sized 21000 ft2 / 2000 m2) with winter garden and traditional tea house. Splendor also has fleet's largest kids playroom (sized 5500 ft2 / 510 m2). The main pool area is covered with a 2-deck-high retractable glass roof/dome.

In early 2013, CCL Splendor was relocated from LA (Long Beach) to NYC via itinerary route around South America. The reason for that long repositioning cruise was that (as Post-Panamax vessel) Splendor was not able to transit through Panama Canal .

Carnival Splendor refurbishments review

Carnival Splendor's last drydock refurbishment was in 2024 (August 5-24) in Singapore , at Sembcorp Marine Shipyard. The 3-week refurb project will result in refurbished public spaces, updated/expanded amenities, additional enhancements (new dining options), general maintenance works, safety/classification inspections, hull cleaning/repainting. More details on the refurb are expected to be revealed soon.

The ship's previous drydocking was in 2019 (October 30-November 24) in Singapore (Sembcorp). The USD 60 million project adapted the vessel for the Australian market. It also received CCL's signature Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades . The drydocking included general maintenance works, technical overhauls, refreshed interior spaces, adding new dining venues and bars (RedFrog Pub, Alchemy Bar, Guy’s Burger Joint), Serenity Retreat (adults-only sundeck), redesigned waterpark (with a free-fall drop waterslide).

Drydock 2016 was in the period March 6-20.

Carnival Breeze  Cruise Directors

Lawrence West, Keegan Van Zyl, and Felipe Serrina Do Couto will bring the fun to  Carnival Breeze  in the coming months. West began leading the Fun Squad on January 11 but will sign off in mid-April when Van Zyl takes over for two months. Serrina do Couto will take the helm in mid-June through mid-November unless the schedule changes.

One of Carnival’s most popular cruise directors, Lee Mason, is rocking the boat on  Carnival Celebration , having joined the ship this month. He’ll remain in charge of the Fun Squad crew through early July, joined in the last week by Leon Smith.  In mid-November, popular CD Marty Pitts will sign on  Carnival Celebration  to lead the most celebratory time of year, remaining onboard through the holidays and into March 2025.

To conquer the fun aboard  Carnival Conquest , Stjepan Neral joined the ship in mid-February and will lead the team through the busy spring break season. Savannah Mitchell will take over in mid-May for a five-month contract through the summer. The ship’s cruise director for fall has not yet been assigned, but Mitchell will return in early December for the  holiday sailings .

Three different cruise directors are set to make dreams come true aboard  Carnival Dream . Andrew Mercer is currently leading the Fun Squad through mid-June, when Lawrence West will come aboard for the first of two  Carnival Dream  contracts this year. Frankie Portera will give West a break from mid-August to mid-October.

Carnival Elation  Cruise Directors

Guests will be elated with a fun lineup of cruise directors for  Carnival Elation . Zackary Paiement-Dockrill came aboard in mid-January and will remain in charge until mid-April, followed by Gabriel Coppolla for a quick month of fun before Paiement-Dockrill returns for the summer season. In August, Austin Morris will sign on to lead the ship through the rest of 2024.

Up first for the fun on the brand new  Carnival Firenze  will be Joseph Boyes, who has been confirmed for two contracts aboard the ship when she joins the fleet in April. At this time, the complete cruise director schedule for the new ship has not yet been announced.

The current leading lady aboard  Carnival Freedom  is the effervescent Erin Weigand until the end of March, when Todd Evans will take the helm. Elizabeth Clough will also have her chance between Evans’ two confirmed contracts aboard the ship this year.

The vessel is updated and sailing smoothly after her October 2023 dry dock that finally replaced her whale tale funnel that was  damaged in a fire in May 2022 .

Carnival Glory  Cruise Directors

The Conquest-class vessel will have glorious leadership indeed with both Cam Chavis and Gabriella Gamboa – for her first time as CD – leading the ship, though some of the cruise director schedule for the vessel is still in flux. As schedules are confirmed, the cruise director assignments will be finalized.

The 2,980 guests who can set sail on every  Carnival Glory  cruise will have glorious getaways with the energetic attention of each cruise director.

Carnival Luminosa  will have several cruise directors this year as different men join the ship with their own leadership styles. Ranier Scholtz just finished a contract, while Tyler Meehan, Marty Pitts, and Zackary Paiement-Dockrill are all on the schedule for the ship in the coming months as she sails in Australia and Alaska.

Every cruise director aboard  Carnival Pride  takes great pride in delivering exceptional experiences with Jasper Wade and Dustin Gabriel filling that role for much of 2024. End-of-year holiday season assignments for the next cruise director to the ship are yet to be announced.

The Spirit-class vessel sails from Baltimore and Tampa with destinations in the Caribbean, Panama, the Bahamas, Greenland, and Canada, taking 2,124 guests along on each amazing trip.

Carnival Radiance  Cruise Directors

It takes a radiant personality to lead the fun aboard  Carnival Radiance , and that is just what Michael D’Auria is doing this year. Lia Stivers was scheduled as cruise director for the spring and early summer, but that assignment has been changed and  Carnival Radiance  does not yet have a confirmed cruise director later in the year.

The cruise directors on  Carnival Sunshine  all bring a bright light of fun and excitement every guest can enjoy. Elizabeth Clough, James Love, and Adam Gilbert will all lead the way aboard the ship in 2024.

Formerly  Carnival Destiny , this ship was the first to be extensively refit to lead the new Sunshine class of vessels and now offers sailings from Charleston, South Carolina and Norfolk, Virginia.

Carnival Valor  Cruise Directors

Austin Morris and John Loney are up next to lead  Carnival Valor . Louis Clare was originally assigned to the ship through November, but that assignment has been shortened and no new cruise director has yet been assigned past early September.

Understanding the Carnival Cruise Director Schedule

Carnival Cruise Line employs approximately 30-40 cruise directors, though schedules and assignments are fluid and not every cruise director may be under contract at the same time.

Contracts vary from just a few weeks to several months, though even in those time periods an individual cruise director may move from one ship to another, depending on operational needs and available assignments.

The dates for each cruise director indicate the beginning and end of a specific ship contract (??? indicates an unknown end date), with multiple entries listed for different individual contracts.

Dates occasionally overlap for multiple cruise directors as assignments change. This extra time is when the new cruise director will meet their team, familiarize themselves with the vessel, and prepare for a smooth transition from one leader to the next so all guests have the very best onboard experience.

Individual cruise directors often remain aboard the same ship for several weeks or months at a time, allowing them to develop a truly unique personality for that vessel and to work seamlessly with their Fun Squad team.

Cruise directors with greater seniority may request specific ships or homeports as they prefer, though assignments are always subject to the operational needs of the overall fleet.

How the Schedule of Cruise Directors Can Change

Carnival Cruise Line changes the cruise director schedule nearly every week as different contracts are adjusted and ship deployments and dry dock schedules change.

Crew members can come and go with different commitments or promotions, which can also impact which cruise director is assigned to which ship for different time periods.

The cruise director is one of the most visible members of a ship’s crew. He or she is the “face” of fun for Carnival Cruise Line’s Fun Squad—the crew members who host trivia contests, lead deck parties, judge contests, and share other fun with every guest.

Cruise directors are leaders of the activities staff and coordinate closely with the entertainment staff to provide amazing fun for everyone aboard, no matter what the time of year, specific cruise itinerary, or any challenging circumstances.

Chris “The Flying Scotsman” Williams was promoted as the  third Fleet Cruise Director in November 2023 , while Erin Weigand was promoted as the  fourth to the position in February 2024 .

It is possible that additional active cruise directors will also be promoted into the new leadership position in the future, at which time they will no longer have individual assignments on specific ships, but will operate from Carnival Cruise Line’s shoreside offices to support all cruise directors on the line’s 27 vessels.

Who is the cruise director for Carnival  Splendor in June 2019 and is he a good one? Does he gate engage with many of the activities and the entertainment. We cruised with NoNo and she Wes the best we ever had and we cruise many times

In December the cruise director was Lee and he was great and very involved with activities and guests.

I think the Lee is the best of the current Carnival CD's.  He's quite engaging and appeals to a wide demographic.  Unlike many other CD's, he's not full of himself.

We had him on a 14 day Hawaii Journeys cruise last year and had multiple occasions to interact with him.  I'm sure that he had a busy schedule, but always took time to have meaningful conversations with us.

He's very quick witted.  Make sure that you go to all of his morning shows.

We showed our appreciation for him by making a significant contribution to St. Jude while on board.

Monroe is the Entertainment Director,  not the Cruise Director. Lee Mason is the CD.

This is what Carnival told me on Facebook. So is going to be. The reason I asked is that in the past that ship didn’t have very much entertainment and not every night they had a show. The 4 nights cruise with the Imagination and the inspiration are very high energy. We want to do 7 nights but it depends if the ship will have nightly shows, music...the cruise director contribute a lot if they great

What did Carnival tell you on Facebook? I was on the Splendor 3 weeks ago and hung out a bit with both Monroe and Lee. Both are amazing guys. 

Not to worry, Lee Mason is probably the best Cruise Director I have ever sailed with, so no worries there. Assuming, of course, that you are sailing in the next 5 months or so. He just started his new contract on March 30th, so he should be the CD through the summer.

I’ve never sailed on the Splendor when there wasn’t something going on every night. Is there a Playlist Production show every night? Of course not. But there is a show every night in the show theater. The first night is the welcome aboard show, the last night is the finals on Lip Sync Battle (which is a lot of fun), and somewhere in the middle is the Battle of the Sexes show Love and Marriage show. Plus there is a lot of other stuff going on around the ship... such as: a rock band playing in the atrium, sail away parties, ballon drop and party on the last night, comedians in the comedy club, piano bar music and comedy, a nightclub, dive in movies, singers on the Promenade, and 2 crazy fun deck parties. All of this in addition to 4 different Playlist Productions. Not sure when you were on the Splendor when they, “...didn’t have very much entertainment”, but they’ve always had more than I could possibly enjoy. I’m not sure I’ve been on a ship where I had more fun than on the Splendor. Pretty sure you’ll have a blast.

Thank you Bob 😊 it’s been a while since I took that ship. I will sign up next week. We will be going in June and celebrating a birthday now I look forward and don’t need to choose 7 nights or 4 night. By the way the Panorama is coming to Long Beach at the end of this year we look forward for it

We are excited about it as well. We are booked on the inaugural 3 day, and the 7 day after it. 

We sailed with Lee as cruise director and Monroe as entertainment director. They make an excellent team. We sailed with No No also and she is great. I believe you will be happy with Lee.

Yes. The party will be Friday (assuming you are doing the Saturday to Saturday Mexican riviera) from 5 to 5:45. Free drinks and appetizers. A few games of guess the epaulet, guess the ship, and guess the number of jellybeans in the jar. Lee will host the party and some, if not all, of the senior staff will be there.

The Platinum gift on our cruise were the Tervis cups, but I hear that the new lanyard is hitting the ships 🤢 .  

For your tendering in Cabo, you need only show up at the Black Pearl dining room with all your party and they will escort you down to the tender.

In Long Beach, they don’t distinguish between Platinum and Diamond. Both groups are in the same waiting room, and when boarding starts, they just have all of them go at once.

All the other benefits remain.

My husband and I were on the Splendor last November and Lee was there.  We thought he was great.  Heck a funny and we both couldn't believe how he was in one place and the next minute he would be in a new place.  Watching him dance on the bar in the atrium was pretty funny.  He has some good dance moves!!

Cruise directors are the face of fun aboard Carnival cruise ships, and having the Carnival cruise director schedule can help travelers plan which ships to book to enjoy their favorite Fun Squad leaders. This updated schedule is the ultimate tool in knowing which particular cruise director is assigned to which ship in the coming months.

Do note that schedules can change as operational needs change and different cruise directors may move to different positions in their careers, while gaps in the listed dates may indicate dry dock plans or currently unassigned roles.

The list below (alphabetical by ship) will be updated as such changes are confirmed, so check back often to see where your favorite Carnival cruise directors are sailing. Where individual names are linked, you can get to know the cruise director through their social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram (not every cruise director has a public account).

Lawrence West, Keegan Van Zyl, and Felipe Serrina Do Couto will bring the fun to  Carnival Breeze  in the coming months. West began leading the Fun Squad on January 11 but will sign off in mid-April when Van Zyl takes over for two months. Serrina do Couto will take the helm in mid-June through mid-November unless the schedule changes.

The Carnival cruise ship is the youngest of the Dream-class vessels, and the 128,000-gross-ton ship can welcome 3,690 guests per sailing.

One of Carnival’s most popular cruise directors, Lee Mason, is rocking the boat on  Carnival Celebration , having joined the ship this month. He’ll remain in charge of the Fun Squad crew through early July, joined in the last week by Leon Smith.  In mid-November, popular CD Marty Pitts will sign on  Carnival Celebration  to lead the most celebratory time of year, remaining onboard through the holidays and into March 2025.

Carnival Celebration  is celebratory indeed, with unique tributes to the cruise line’s more than 50 years of history onboard, including the  Golden Jubilee  bar and lounge.

To conquer the fun aboard  Carnival Conquest , Stjepan Neral joined the ship in mid-February and will lead the team through the busy spring break season. Savannah Mitchell will take over in mid-May for a five-month contract through the summer. The ship’s cruise director for fall has not yet been assigned, but Mitchell will return in early December for the  holiday sailings .

The lead ship of the popular Conquest class, the 110,000-gross-ton ship can welcome 2,980 guests aboard and is also home to 1,150 crew members.

Three different cruise directors are set to make dreams come true aboard  Carnival Dream . Andrew Mercer is currently leading the Fun Squad through mid-June, when Lawrence West will come aboard for the first of two  Carnival Dream  contracts this year. Frankie Portera will give West a break from mid-August to mid-October.

The 128,000-gross-ton  Carnival Dream  debuted in 2009 as the largest ship in the fleet at the time, offering dreamy vacations to 3,646 passengers on each sailing.

Guests will be elated with a fun lineup of cruise directors for  Carnival Elation . Zackary Paiement-Dockrill came aboard in mid-January and will remain in charge until mid-April, followed by Gabriel Coppolla for a quick month of fun before Paiement-Dockrill returns for the summer season. In August, Austin Morris will sign on to lead the ship through the rest of 2024.

Now the  oldest ship in the fleet  and one of only two Fantasy-class vessels remaining,  Carnival Elation  offers a more intimate feel than larger ships.

Up first for the fun on the brand new  Carnival Firenze  will be Joseph Boyes, who has been confirmed for two contracts aboard the ship when she joins the fleet in April. At this time, the complete cruise director schedule for the new ship has not yet been announced.

Coming to the Carnival fleet after her transformation from  Costa Firenze , the renovated and renamed  Carnival Firenze  will officially welcome guests for the first time with her  April  25, 2024 sailing .

The current leading lady aboard  Carnival Freedom  is the effervescent Erin Weigand until the end of March, when Todd Evans will take the helm. Elizabeth Clough will also have her chance between Evans’ two confirmed contracts aboard the ship this year.

The vessel is updated and sailing smoothly after her October 2023 dry dock that finally replaced her whale tale funnel that was  damaged in a fire in May 2022 .

The Conquest-class vessel will have glorious leadership indeed with both Cam Chavis and Gabriella Gamboa – for her first time as CD – leading the ship, though some of the cruise director schedule for the vessel is still in flux. As schedules are confirmed, the cruise director assignments will be finalized.

The 2,980 guests who can set sail on every  Carnival Glory  cruise will have glorious getaways with the energetic attention of each cruise director.

Georgia Craig is bringing her colorful fun to  Carnival Horizon  with two contracts in early and late 2024, while William “Pauly” Munhollon will take over during Craig’s vacation period from early May through mid-July.

A Vista-class vessel, the 133,596-gross-ton  Carnival Horizon  offers Western and Southern Caribbean itineraries from Miami, each one offering great horizons to explore.

Texas native Kyndall Fire is one of the fleet’s most popular cruise directors and the natural choice to lead  Carnival Jubilee  sailing from the Lone Star State. She will share the honors of leading Carnival’s newest Excel-class vessel with Louis Clare.

The newest ship in the fleet is the new fleet flagship and the largest ever Carnival ship to sail from Galveston, Texas, offering exclusive fun with the  Lone Star Tailgate Party , a celebration of Texas culture onboard.

Legendary fun is in store for guests setting sail with Dustin Gabriel, Jake Miller, and Frankie Portera aboard  Carnival Legend . The trio of cruise directors will share leadership roles aboard the ship through the end of 2024 and into 2025.

The 88,500-gross-ton, Spirit-class  Carnival Legend  offers exceptional vacations with diverse deployments, setting sail in the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, and Mexico depending on her sailing date and homeport.

Both Adam Gilbert and Gary Blair offer uniquely fun leadership as cruise directors and will bring great flair and excitement to  Carnival Liberty  on their contract assignments. The end-of-year CD for the ship has not yet been decided.

A truly beautiful Conquest-class ship,  Carnival Liberty  was the first in the fleet to offer the Carnival Seaside Theater on the Lido deck, a feature often used by cruise directors for parties, dance contests, and more.

Carnival Luminosa  will have several cruise directors this year as different men join the ship with their own leadership styles. Ranier Scholtz just finished a contract, while Tyler Meehan, Marty Pitts, and Zackary Paiement-Dockrill are all on the schedule for the ship in the coming months as she sails in Australia and Alaska.

The first ship  transferred to the Carnival fleet from Costa Cruises ,  Carnival Luminosa  has a distinctly different vibe but is no less entertaining with the work of her dedicated cruise directors.

It takes a special kind of cruise director to bring the magic to  Carnival Magic , and that is just what Jake Miller and Frankie Portera will be doing in the next few months. New assignments are sure to be made for the ship in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for updates.

Anyone looking for a magical getaway can’t do better than the Dream-class  Carnival Magic , offering Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean itineraries from Miami.

Two energetic gentlemen lead the fun aboard  Mardi Gras , with TJ Partida and Jacky Tang alternating cruise director contracts aboard the ship for all of 2024 and into 2025. Jonathan ‘Cookie’ Adams was originally to take over as the Carnival cruise director, but he decided to leave the cruise line.

Carnival Panorama  has a trio of take-charge cruise directors lined up this year sure to bring the fun to all guests – Christian “Deon” Williams, Ranier Scholtz, and Andrew Mercer – each one with their own distinctive style.

Back in service after an emergency dry dock that required  removal of the ship’s funnel  to pass safely under bridges on the Columbia River,  Carnival Panorama  sails year-round from Long Beach with exciting Mexican Riviera itineraries.

Amber Lynne Celen and John Loney both offer outstanding fun for guests to enjoy, and their leadership ensures everyone sailing aboard  Carnival Paradise  has a great time on one of the most intimate Carnival ships.

The last of the Fantasy class ships to be built,  Carnival Paradise  has been delighting guests since she first set sail in November 1998. She debuted as the world’s first completely non-smoking cruise ship, though that policy was discontinued in 2003.

Every cruise director aboard  Carnival Pride  takes great pride in delivering exceptional experiences with Jasper Wade and Dustin Gabriel filling that role for much of 2024. End-of-year holiday season assignments for the next cruise director to the ship are yet to be announced.

The Spirit-class vessel sails from Baltimore and Tampa with destinations in the Caribbean, Panama, the Bahamas, Greenland, and Canada, taking 2,124 guests along on each amazing trip.

It takes a radiant personality to lead the fun aboard  Carnival Radiance , and that is just what Michael D’Auria is doing this year. Lia Stivers was scheduled as cruise director for the spring and early summer, but that assignment has been changed and  Carnival Radiance  does not yet have a confirmed cruise director later in the year.

Formerly  Carnival Victory , the ship underwent an extensive, $200 million renovation in 2020 to become  Carnival Radiance  and now offers Baja Mexico itineraries from her year-round homeport in Long Beach, California.

A very popular ship with Carnival fans and repeat cruisers, the first-in-class  Carnival Spirit  sails from  Mobile, Alabama  each winter and repositions to Seattle for the Alaska sailing season each summer.

Simon London is the face of fun for  Carnival Splendor , though he will be joined by an as-yet-unassigned cruise director who will offer him a break between contracts in September and October.

The cruise directors on  Carnival Sunshine  all bring a bright light of fun and excitement every guest can enjoy. Elizabeth Clough, James Love, and Adam Gilbert will all lead the way aboard the ship in 2024.

Austin Morris and John Loney are up next to lead  Carnival Valor . Louis Clare was originally assigned to the ship through November, but that assignment has been shortened and no new cruise director has yet been assigned past early September.

It takes true vision to lead the fun on  Carnival Vista , and three amazing cruise directors will do just that over the next few months—Marty Pitts, Gary Blair, and Marq Anthony—each bringing unforgettable style to the ship. Carnival Cruise Line employs approximately 30-40 cruise directors, though schedules and assignments are fluid and not every cruise director may be under contract at the same time.

It is possible that additional active cruise directors will also be promoted into the new leadership position in the future, at which time they will no longer have individual assignments on specific ships, but will operate from Carnival Cruise Line’s shoreside offices to support all cruise directors on the line’s 27 vessels.

Carnival cruises are full of fun and entertainment, thanks to the energetic cruise directors. They make sure every moment is exciting and fun. You can now plan your trips based on your favorite Fun Squad leader’s schedule. With the Carnival Cruise Director Schedule , you can choose which ship to go on and when. 

Carnival Cruise Line has a schedule for Cruise Directors for 2024-2025. The schedule shows the name of the Carnival cruise directors for each time.  

This guide will show the dates when each Carnival Director is working.

Please be aware that schedules may change due to operational needs. Carnival Cruise directors may also move to different positions in their careers. Gaps in the dates listed could mean dry dock plans or roles that have not been assigned yet. 

Here is the complete list of Carnival Cruise Director Schedule :

Carnival Firenze Director Schedule  

Joseph Boyes will be the first cruise director on the new Carnival Firenze ship when it joins the fleet in April. The full schedule of cruise directors for the ship has not been announced yet. The ship, formerly known as Costa Firenze, will start welcoming guests on April 25 , 2024 , after being renovated and renamed. 

The Carnival cruise director schedule is not final yet, but it will be once the schedules are confirmed. 

Carnival Jubilee Director Schedule  

The newest Carnival ship has two main cruise directors. Kyndall Fire will lead the Carnival Jubilee sailing from Texas along with Louis Clare. The Carnival Jubilee is the newest and largest ship in the Carnival fleet to sail from Galveston, Texas. It offers exclusive fun with the Lone Star Tailgate Party, celebrating Texas culture onboard. 

Carnival Venezia Director Schedule  

Carnival Venezia, a new ship, started sailing on June 15 , 2023 . The ship was previously known as Costa Venezia before being renovated. There are three experienced cruise directors on board. Jacky Tang is the current director until May, followed by Marq Anthony . Lee Mason will take over in August and stay until early 2025 . 

Carnival Celebration Director Schedule  

The Carnival Celebration cruise director schedule for 2024 has some great names. Lee Mason joined on 10 th March and will stay until July 2024 . Leon Smith will then take over until December. Marty Pitts will join next and stay until March 2025 . 

Carnival Luminosa Director Schedule  

Carnival Luminosa will have multiple cruise directors this year with different leadership styles. Ranier Scholtz just finished his contract, and Tyler Meehan, Marty Pitts, and Zackary Paiement-Dockrill will join the ship soon as it sails in Australia and Alaska. Carnival Luminosa, previously from Costa Cruises, has a unique vibe but remains entertaining with its dedicated cruise directors. 

Carnival Mardi Gras Director Schedule  

The Mardi Gras ship, the first of its kind, made history in 2021 as the first LNG-powered ship in the fleet. 

Two energetic men, TJ Partida and Jacky Tang, will take turns being the cruise directors on the Mardi Gras ship in 2024 and 2025 . Jonathan Cookie Adams was supposed to be the cruise director, but he left the company.  

TJ Partida will be there from January 27 th to May, then Jacky Tang will take over until July. TJ will return, and then Jacky will cover the October to March season. 

Carnival Panorama Director Schedule  

The Carnival Panorama will have a great team of cruise directors. The directors are Christian Deon Williams, Ranier Scholtz, and Andrew Mercer, each with their own unique style. 

Christian Deon Williams started on December 30th and will stay until June 2nd , 2024 . He spent a lot of time on the ship in 2023 . After he leaves, Rainier Scholtz will join until August, then Andrew Mercer takes over. 

Carnival Horizon Director Schedule  

The Carnival Horizon is a Vista-class ship that sails to the Western and Southern Caribbean from Miami. Georgia Craig will be on the ship from March to May and then from July to November.  

William Paully Munhollon will be the cruise director for a few months, with Gary Blair joining for a week. Tyler Meehan will join the ship at the end of the year for New Year’s celebrations. 

Carnival Vista Director Schedule  

Carnival Vista is the first of the Vista-class ships and sails year-round from Port Canaveral , the world’s busiest cruise port, offering Caribbean itineraries. 

Marty Pitts is currently in charge of Carnival Vista until June. Gary Blair will join briefly from early June to August. Marq Anthony will take over from November to March 2025 . 

Carnival Breeze Director Schedule  

The Cruise Director schedule for Carnival Breeze is set for the next few months. Keegan Van Zyl will take over from April to June, and Felipe Serrina Do Couto will be on board for most of the second half of the year. Keegan covered for Kyndall Fire on Mardi Gras last year and is known for being fun. 

Carnival Magic Director Schedule  

The Dream-class Carnival Magic offers Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean itineraries from Miami, making it a great choice for a magical getaway. Frankie Portera joined the ship in April and will be there until June. 

Carnival Dream Director Schedule  

Three cruise directors will be on Carnival Dream. Andrew Mercer is on board from February to June. Lawrence West will take over until February 2025 , with a two-month break from August to October when Frankie Portera will step in. 

Carnival Splendor Director Schedule  

Carnival Splendor was originally for Costa Cruises but was given to Carnival Cruise Line. It sails from Sydney, Australia all year with different routes in the area.  

The Carnival Splendor will have a great Cruise Director in 2024 . Simon London started in late February and will stay until September. Then he will take a break until November and come back until March 2025 . 

Carnival Freedom Director Schedule  

Carnival Freedom has great Cruise Directors. Todd Evans will be on board from late March to July and then from September to January 2025 . Elizabeth Clough will join the ship from July to September.  

The ship was recently updated and is now sailing smoothly after a dry dock in October 2023 . 

Carnival Liberty Director Schedule  

Adam Gilbert and Gary Blair are fun cruise directors who will bring excitement to Carnival Liberty. He will be on the ship until early June. Gary Blair is supposed to replace him and join the ship from June to August. 

The ship’s end-of-year cruise director has not been chosen yet.  

Carnival Miracle Director Schedule  

The Carnival Miracle has skilled cruise directors lined up for 2024 . Two cruise directors will make vacation dreams come true on Carnival Miracle this year: Lia Stivers and Jasper Wade . 

Lia Stivers is the current cruise director, bringing lots of fun to ensure every guest enjoys the cruise. She started in March and will be on board until July. After Lia, Jasper Wade will take over until October. 

Carnival Valor Director Schedule  

Carnival Valor will have different cruise directors. Austin Morris will be on board from January to April. John Loney will be in charge from April to June. Louie Claire will join in June until September 2024 . A new cruise director has not been assigned past early September. 

Carnival Glory Director Schedule  

The Conquest-class ship will have Cam Chavis and Gabriella Gamboa as co-cruise directors for the first time. Cam Chavis, who joined the ship in January 2024 , is known for his warmth and energy. He was supposed to stay until May, but that is now to be confirmed. Gabriella Gamboa will take over as Acting Cruise Director from May to July for the first time.  

Some of the Carnival cruise director schedule is still uncertain, but it will be finalized once the schedules are confirmed. 

Carnival Conquest Director Schedule  

The Carnival Conquest has great Cruise Directors. Stjepan Neral will be in charge from February to May. Savannah Mitchell will take over in mid-May for a five-month contract through the summer. The cruise director for fall has not been assigned yet, but Mitchell will return in early December until February 2025 for the holiday sailings. 

Carnival Legend Director Schedule  

Dustin Gabriel, Jake Miller, and Frankie Portera will be leading the fun on Carnival Legend ship until 2025 . Dustin Gabriel started as the cruise director on January 7 th , 2024 . Jake Miller will take over on May 23 rd and stay until November. Frankie Portera will join for a month.  

Carnival Pride Director Schedule  

Carnival Pride will have two great Cruise Directors in 2024 . Jasper Wade leads from mid-February to June. Then, Dustin Gabriel will take over for a few months before Jasper comes back. 

Carnival Spirit Director Schedule  

Carnival Spirit sails from Mobile, Alabama in the winter and moves to Seattle for the summer Alaska season.  

The Carnival Spirit will have a great team of Cruise Directors in 2024 . Alex Siegler joined in March and will stay until July. William Paully Munhollon will then join for a few months before Alex returns.  

Carnival Radiance Director Schedule  

Carnival Radiance, formerly known as Carnival Victory, was renovated in 2020 and is now called Carnival Radiance. It offers trips to Baja Mexico from Long Beach, California.  

Michael D’Auria started in March and will be on board until July. Michael D Auria is currently leading the fun on Carnival Radiance. Lia Stivers was supposed to be the cruise director for the spring and early summer, but that has changed.  

Carnival Sunrise Director Schedule  

Carnival Sunrise, previously known as Carnival Triumph, was renovated in 2019. It now sails from Miami to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.  

The ship had some schedule changes recently, but they have been sorted out. Leon Smith started in February and will stay until May, then Gabriel Coppolla will take over until August. Smith will return in September after a break. 

Carnival Elation Director Schedule  

Carnival Elation is the oldest and one of two Fantasy-class ships left, giving it a more intimate atmosphere compared to larger ships. Gabriel Coppolla will take over for a month before Paiement-Dockrill returns for the summer. In August, Austin Morris will lead the ship for the rest of 2024.  

Carnival Paradise Director Schedule  

Carnival Paradise, the last Fantasy class ship built, started sailing in November 1998 . John Loney was on the ship until February 19th , 2024 . Amber Celen took over until the first half of 2024 . John will return in June and stay until August. He will then come back in October and stay until February.  

Carnival Sunshine Director Schedule  

Carnival Sunshine, previously known as Carnival Destiny, was the first to be renovated to become part of the new Sunshine class of ships. It now sails from Charleston, South Carolina and Norfolk, Virginia. James Love, and Adam Gilbert will lead the ship in 2024 . Adam Gilbert will join the ship from August to October, then James will return for the rest of the year and the beginning of 2025 .
