You will meet and interact with players from the host teams both on and off the field… giving you the chance to see the world through their eyes, understand how they live, and create long-distance friendships. Testimonials

This was a fantastic trip. Both sons absolutely loved it and, before we got home from Puerto Rico, they were asking to do another MVP trip. Beautiful hotel, super fun group activities, lots of opportunities for excursions and free time, and a priceless baseball experience.

Beth H.

“This was one of the best vacations our family has ever had! And, we didn’t have to plan a thing”

Kristie C.

“Nothing short of outstanding.”

Chad H.

We had such an amazing time on our trip! The people who were in charge and the people we traveled with were fantastic! The food, trips, and accommodations were awesome. Thank you so much!!

Karen W.

A tremendous effort by all the coordinators paid off with an excellent trip. We go to watch some great baseball, meet the local teams and see some fabulous scenery. The ship was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The crew made sure we were always satisfied.

Thomas T.

We had a wonderful trip!! Memories that will last a lifetime. Had great experiences, met wonderful people and saw things I never dreamed we would!! Thanks for everything!! The MVP staff were great!!

Amanda A.

We had a truly amazing time on this trip — just the right amount of baseball, planned sightseeing, and free time. Every detail of the program came off without a hitch. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough..

Scott G.

Another outstanding trip by MVP International! Fun options for free time. In fact there were too many good choices we had to split up and enjoy multiple side trips. The hotels were some of the best we’ve seen on these trips. As always the trip goes so fast but we love the people, seeing our boys representing the USA , and having them learn about new countries and cultures that will stay with them forever.

Tom M.

Our family had a fabulous time! The trip details were seamless, nothing was left to question, and it was clear as to where to go, what to do, what we needed to pay for on our own, etc. We made wonderful new friends and created memories of a lifetime. The trip and plans exceeded our expectations, and we have high standards! 🙂

Ashli G.

We had a great time! The tours, free time and sight seeing was awesome. It was a wonderful opportunity for the young ladies; their exposure to to another culture that shared their love and passion for softball and to interact competitively and socially with them. It was as if they had always known them.

Yvonne G.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip! Great activities, well planned and really had fun watching the many baseball games. We definitely would do another trip again.

Mitze T.

Coach Pudge’s story begins back in 2008, when Coach Pudge was given the opportunity to bring a local team abroad for a tournament. After experiencing the eye-opening impact the game of baseball was having around the world, he was all-in.

Coach Pudge went on a few more trips before he started to brainstorm how he could share these experiences that were transforming not only his life, but also those of hundreds of athletes and families that were joining him on the trips, with more athletes. Although Foley spent a few years in the corporate world, he was drawn back to the game as a coach, and he enjoyed staying connected to the baseball community. travel baseball tournament in hawaii

INDIANAPOLIS —Texas earned the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship today when the NCAA Division I Softball Committee announced the 64-team field and seeds for the 2024 NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

Thirty-two conferences were awarded automatic qualification as conference champions, while the remaining 32 slots were filled with at-large selections to complete the bracket. The top 16 teams were seeded nationally and will host at campus sites beginning Friday.

Regionals will be held May 17-19 with each campus site hosting a four-team, double-elimination tournament. The 16 winning teams advance to the super regionals.

Super regionals for the championship will be held May 23-26 on eight campus sites. At each site, two teams play in a best-of-three tournament format.

The winners from each super regional advance to the NCAA® Women’s College World Series® from May 30 to June 6/7 at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.

Dayton, Siena and Southeastern Louisiana are making their first appearance in the tournament.

In 2023, Oklahoma won its third national championship in a row and seventh overall by defeating Florida State, 5-0 and 3-1, in the best-of-three championship finals.

The Sooners became only the second school to win three in a row, joining UCLA (1988, 1989, 1990). No school has ever won four consecutive Division I softball national championships.

ESPN will provide coverage from all 16 regional sites on one of the ESPN platforms, which was announced during the NCAA Softball Selection Show. ESPN will televise every game of the Super Regionals for the 17th consecutive season, 2020 notwithstanding, since 2007. This year also marks the 23rd consecutive year that ESPN will televise every game of the Women’s College World Series.

See here for complete championship details.

Husson University won both the softball and baseball North Atlantic Conference tournaments over the weekend — for the fifth consecutive year. On Monday, they learned their respective opening-game opponents in the NCAA Division III national championships.

Fueled by bigtime performances from Maine players, the Eagles played true to their No. 1 seeding in both conference tournaments, continuing their reign of dominance over the NAC and advancing to the national tourneys.

The softball team (35-4) will begin its quest for a national title versus Framingham State University (24-18) at home, at noon on Thursday.

The baseball team (23-10) will open up play versus Endicott College (39-2) in Connecticut, at noon on Friday.

This past weekend in Bangor, senior Kenzie Dore of Brewer won NAC softball tournament MVP as the Eagles trounced No. 5 SUNY-Morrisville 18-0 and then beat No. 2 SUNY-Polytechnic two times in a row, winning their 30th consecutive game and 13th NAC title since 2009.

Over the Eagles’ three tournament games, Dore totaled four home runs, three walks and 12 RBIs, raising her season batting average to .548 and her on-base plus slugging percentage to an incredible 1.744.

Meanwhile, junior Kiara McLeod (.766 OPS) of Harrison tallied four extra-base hits and three RBIs, and junior Bulla McCabe (.804 OPS) of Hawaii recorded four hits, four runs and three RBI.

From the pitching circle, freshman Ana Lang (1.18 ERA) of Searsport and sophomore Dani Masterson (1.58 ERA) of Hampden combined to allow just four runs and throw 31 strikeouts in three games.

In the NAC baseball championship at SUNY-Cobleskill in New York, senior Jackson Curtis of Ellsworth was awarded tournament MVP as the Eagles beat Eastern Nazarene 4-1, and then dominated the hosts 20-2 in the second round and again 9-1 in the finals.

“Jackson is one of the best players in this league — we have a lot of local guys that have done big things,” Husson head coach Chris Morris said. “This senior class has raised the bar every year. Their leadership is outstanding.”

Jackon’s younger brother Hunter (1.153 OPS), a sophomore, was also an offensive force over the weekend, tallying seven hits, five runs, three RBIs and three stolen bases. Meanwhile, junior Tanner Evans (.583 OPS) of Old Town collected five hits and five RBIs, and sophomore Keegan Cyr (.728 OPS) of Bangor tallied seven walks and six runs from the leadoff spot.

On the mound, junior Matt Wallingford of Greene (1.50 ERA) threw 8.1 innings of shutout ball with eight strikeouts in game one, and senior Alex Smith (2.93 ERA) of Massachusetts threw five innings of shutout ball in the finals.

Next up, the Husson softball and baseball teams will compete with three other teams apiece to advance to the NCAA super regionals, or round of 16. Neither team has ever accomplished this feat in program history.

The softball team will host Rennselaer Polytechnic (34-5), Williams College (23-11) and Framingham St. University in a double elimination regional tournament from May 16-18.

The baseball team will travel to Willimantic, Connecticut, to challenge Endicott, Ramapo College of New Jersey, and Eastern Connecticut State in a double elimination regional tournament from May 17-19.
