NOFX Final Tour

It has just been confirmed that the farewell tour of the Americans NOFX will pass through Spain next spring with two dates that will take place on May 19 and 20, 2023 at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona.

It is a reality: NOFX say goodbye to his public after 40 years of career. In May 2023, NOFX will kick off their farewell world tour in Barcelona with two concerts. Not only that: it will be the only city in the world where they will perform two nights in a row.

Two unique dates on the peninsula that will serve as a final farewell to one of the most important bands in the history of punk rock. Band that over the decades has garnered hundreds of thousands of followers in Spain and Portugal. A very important name to understand the underground in the last four decades. All this will happen exclusively throughout the peninsula in Barcelona. The capital of Catalonia has been the city chosen to kick off his farewell tour.

In addition, of these two concerts, Fat Mike and his, will only visit, in 2023, five other cities throughout Europe. At these concerts, the Californians will review four of their most anthological albums as well as a large number of great hits from their successful career. Two nights at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona. Two totally different repertoires. A total of forty songs every night.

NOFX want to go big and this will be their big farewell on the peninsula. A unique opportunity that you should not miss because the NOFX race is over. What’s more, all this in an already classic place for great punk rock nights in the city: Poble Espanyol. Tickets will be available for each day as well as a limited amount of passes for those who want to access the 2 days.

Se acaba de confirmar que la gira de despedida de los estadounidenses NOFX pasará por nuestro país la próxima primavera con dos fechas que tendrán lugar los días 19 y 20 de mayo de 2023 en el Poble Espanyol de Barcelona :

Es una realidad: NOFX se despiden de su público tras 40 años de carrera. En mayo de 2023, NOFX arrancarán su gira mundial de despedida en Barcelona con dos conciertos. No sólo eso: será la única ciudad en todo el mundo en el que actuarán dos noches seguidas. Dos fechas únicas en la península y que servirán de despedida final a una de las bandas más importantes de la historia del punk rock. Banda que a lo largo de las décadas ha cosechado en España y Portugal cientos de miles de seguidores. Un nombre importantísimo para entender la underground en las últimas cuatro décadas. Todo ello ocurrirá en exclusiva en toda la península en  Barcelona. La capital de Cataluña  ha sido la ciudad elegida para dar el pistoletazo de salida de su gira de despedida. Además, de estos dos conciertos, Fat Mike y los suyos, sólo visitarán, en 2023, otras cinco ciudades en toda Europa. En estos conciertos, los californianos repasarán cuatro de sus álbumes más antológicos además de un gran número de grandes éxitos cosechados a lo largo de su exitosa carrera. Dos noches en el Poble Espanyol de Barcelona. Dos repertorios  totalmente diferentes. Un total de  cuarenta canciones cada noche. Viernes  19 de Mayo – “So long and thanks for all the shoes” +  “White Trash two heads and a bean” + Greatest Hits. Sábado 20 de Mayo – “Punk In Drublic” + “Wolves in Wolves’ Clothing” + Greatest Hits. NOFX quieren irse a lo grande y esta será su gran despedida en la peninsula. Una oportunidad única que  no debes perderte porque la carrera de NOFX se acaba. Además, todo ello en un lugar ya clásico para las grandes noches de punk rock en la ciudad: el Poble Espanyol. Estarán disponibles entradas de cada día así como una cantidad de abonos limitados para los que quieran acceder los 2 dias. NOFX Announce 2023 Farewell Tour Dates as ‘the Very Last Shows NOFX Will Ever Be Playing’

Before saying goodbye after 40 years together, punk rock band NOFX are going all out for their newly announced farewell tour. During their final run of shows, the Los Angeles band will perform in 40 cities with a unique 40-song setlist for each night. And once they walk off stage at the very last show, they won’t be coming back .

“This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath,” NOFX’s Fat Mike shared in a press release. “These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts…With all our joy…And then we are done. We are done done.”

NOFX are kicking off their farewell with the announcement of 12 of the forthcoming 40 shows, with the tour scheduled to begin this spring and wrap in 2024 after the band has said their proper goodbyes.

NOFX first announced their plans to split up in September 2022. “Actually, we love Canada, it’s just that next year will be our last year,” Fat Mike wrote at the time in an Instagram comment to a fan inquiring about why the band doesn’t come up north anymore. “We will be announcing our final shows soon. It’s been an amazing run….” Replying to a separate comment, he added, “Los Angeles will be the last place we play. It’s where we started, it’s where we’ll end.”

NOFX Reveal Initial 2023 ‘Final Tour’ Dates

NOFX have been talking for a little while now about winding down their career, and now we've got the first dates of what is being billed as their "Final Tour."

While all the dates have yet to be revealed, the band is promising 40 Cities with 40 Songs Per Day to mark their 40 years in the music business. Among the first wave of tour dates revealed with be a number of NOFX Punk in Drublic Festival appearances.

At present, the tour gets underway with two nights April 22 and 23 in Austin, Texas, concluding on Sept. 30 in St. Petersburg, Florida. See all of the currently announced tour dates listed toward the bottom of this post.

As for what fans can expect, NOFX will play 40 songs a night, occasionally including full album performances or introducing rarities into their sets and they promise that no setlist on this run will be repeated, ensuring a totally unique show for those who attend.

Frontman  Fat Mike adds, “This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath...These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts...With all our joy...And then we are done. We are done done.”

Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale this Friday (Jan. 13) at 10AM PT via the Punk In Drublic Fest website , with single day, the Bro Bundle, VIP and more options including a digital download of each show with ticket purchase.

NOFX /ˌnoʊɛfˈɛks/ is an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California. They were formed in 1983 by vocalist/bassist Fat Mike and guitarist Eric Melvin. Drummer Erik Sandin joined NOFX shortly after, and El Hefe joined the band in 1991 to play lead guitar and trumpet, rounding out the current line-up. NOFX's mainstream success was signified by a growing interest in punk rock during the 1990s, but unlike many of their contemporaries (including Bad Religion, Green Day and The Offspring), they have never been signed to a major label. NOFX has released thirteen studio albums, sixteen extended plays and a number of seven-inch singles. The band rose to popularity with their fifth studio album Punk in Drublic (1994). Their latest studio album, First Ditch Effort, was released on October 7, 2016. The group has sold over 8 million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful independent bands of all time. NOFX broadcast their own show on Fuse TV entitled NOFX: Backstage Passport.

THE FINAL NOFX TOUR  

Inf luential punk band NOFX is known as one of the world’s most controversial and significant punk bands of their time. They are no strangers to pushing boundaries at their live shows, and their final tour will be no different. The dream tea m of NOFX and Cameron Collins from Brew Ha Ha Productions and the Punk In Drublic Craft Beer & Music Festival has joined forces to curate the first wave of announced tour dates in the United States.

18 additional shows in 9 North American cities have been announced for the NOFX Final Tour, including the last NOFX shows ever--October 4, 5 and 6, 2024, in Los Angeles at San Pedro’s Berth 46.  Options include single day, the Bro Bundle, VIP, and more, including a digital download of each show with ticket purchase.

The in-progress forty cities around the world tour began on April 22, 2023 in Austin, TX. The trek includes shows in Australia in January, Europe in May and June, and the April – October 2024 North American dates. NOFX will perform forty songs a night, including full albums and rarities at all shows during the NOFX Final Tour. Plus, they will never repeat a setlist to ensure that each show is unique.

Fat Mike adds, “This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath…These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts…With all our joy…And then we are done. We are done done.”
