Often referred to as Queen of hill stations, Ooty is one of the best hill stations in India and among the top places to visit in Tamilnadu . Ooty is situated at a distance of 265 km from Bangalore. This temple is considered to be one of the six Padai Veedu (Battle Camps) of Lord Murugan, the others being Thiruparamkundram, Palani, Swamimalai, Thiruthani and Pazhamudhircholai.
