Why We Love This San Francisco Boat Tour

“A catamaran sail on the San Francisco Bay is my number one go to when I have friends coming to San Francisco that have never been here before. Inevitably they’re going to want to see Fisherman’s Wharf, so I know it’s always going to be a hit if I send them out on the bay to sail past Alcatraz and under the mighty Golden Gate.”

San Francisco Sailing Trips FAQs

What’s the difference between a catamaran and a real sailboat.

A catamaran has two hulls instead of one. The result is a more stable ride (like a Rolls Royce compared to a Dune Buggy).

Will I get seasick?

Probably not. Since we are a more stable ride most people don’t have any problems. If you are very susceptible, you may want to get a patch or seasick pills.

What should I wear?

Usually a pair of jeans, a tee shirt or sweatshirt, tennis shoes & a jacket is all you will need. Be sure to bring extra layers, the bay can be very windy.

What if I forget a jacket & it gets cold?

We have some jackets on board that you are welcome to use.

Do you have life jackets?

Yes, we have life jackets for kids and adults.

Can I bring a lunch?

We prefer that you don’t bring any food. We have beer, wine and soda for purchase. If you are on a private charter, you can pay a clean up fee & bring your own food. No outside beverages are allowed.

How far in advance should I book?

We strongly recommend you purchase tickets in advance as cruises often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

No refunds for reservations cancelled less than 72 hours prior to departure time.

Will I get wet?

If you’re outside on the trampolines, there is a pretty good chance you’ll get wet. If you really don’t want to get wet, you can stay in the cabin. With a 360 degree view, you won’t miss a single thing.

Is the cabin heated?

Yes, the cabin is heated.

Who designed Adventure Cat 2?

Kurt Hughes Designs of Seattle.

How fast does the Adventure Cat 2 go?

Under sail, the average speed is 8-12 knots.

Cancellation Policy

Partner operated activities are subject to the policy of the operator. The San Francisco Sailing Tour is 100% refundable if cancelled 24 hours prior to departure. If cancelled less than 24 hours prior to departure no refund will be issued.

Vegas to San Fran

6 days | hit the road in search of california’s best.

USA_Las_Vegas_Paris_Bellagio_Fountain

City, coast, hot springs, national parks and a whole load of wide-open roads – take on Vegas to San Fran in just six days. Stop in the Sierra Nevada mountains to soak in local hot springs and pass by Mono and Tenaya lakes on your way to the extraordinary Yosemite National Park. With two full days spent here, marvel at Half Dome and hike the Hetch Hetchy Valley with your small group, plus reap the benefits of the freedom to explore at your own pace. Once you wind up along the culture-filled harbourside of San Francisco, you’ll have found your calling. The Western USA is a place for dreamers – let one be you.

Trip overview

  • Spending three nights in Yosemite National Park means two full days of exploration. With so many options on what to do, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
  • Discover another side to Yosemite’s towering granite cliffs, sequoia forests and epic night skies by hiking one of its lesser-known trails – Hetch Hetchy – with your local leader.
  • Soak up the scenery on a relaxing visit to a natural hot spring near the township of Bishop. It’s the perfect way to relax and get to know your travel pals.
  • With a knowledgeable leader getting you from place to place, all you’ve got to worry about is snapping the best photo and getting the most out of your Californian road trip.
  • Where better to end your adventure than in San Francisco, the eclectic, multicultural 'City by the Bay'. With the option to extend your visit a couple of days, you won’t be wanting to go home just yet.
  • By travelling on this trip, you’ll learn about our Intrepid Foundation partner, the Grand Canyon Conservancy. Donations help them protect Grand Canyon National Park and support trail restoration, conservation of native plants and wildlife, and educational programs. Intrepid will double the impact by dollar-matching all post-trip donations made to The Intrepid Foundation.
  • This is a participatory trip. That’s a fancy way of saying you’re not just along for the ride – you’re part of a team! You know the phrase ‘the more you put in, the more you get out’. Well that’s extra true on this trip. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and help out with camp activities like food prep and washing up. It’s all about giving your new travel mates a hand – everyone knows there’s nothing worse than trying to put up a tent on your own!
  • That teamwork also extends to our optional food kitty of approximately USD 10 per day, run to cover the cost of meals. This kitty saves you worrying about stuff like where to get food or what exactly sales tax is and helps keep your costs down. Instead of paying individually as you go, it means we can bulk purchase items and cook our own food – though there’s always the chance to use it for the occasional pizza night! The kitty is optional and for your convenience, so if you've got specific dietary requirements you can opt out and purchase (and cook) your own food.
  • From the steep hiking trails of Yosemite to the towering hills of San Francisco, this trip can involve a lot of walking. Please ensure you bring sturdy walking shoes and comfortable clothes. To make the most of the trip, it's best if you have at least a moderate level of fitness.
  • The USA is a big country. Distances between destinations may be longer than what you're used to, especially if you're coming from Europe. There are some long days of driving, so expect to spend a lot of time in the van. Conditions can feel a little cramped, but the passing scenery and your new travelling friends will keep you occupied.

Welcome to the USA! There are no planned activities until your welcome meeting in the hotel lobby at 6 pm. Las Vegas may be the gambling capital of the world, but there's plenty to do if gambling isn't your thing. Hit the shops, feel your stomach drop on a rooftop roller coaster or simply stroll along the Strip, soaking up the glitz and gaudiness. We recommend you arrive a few days early to make the most of this exciting city. After the welcome meeting, perhaps feast on an 'all you can eat' buffet, check out one of the many shows on offer – book in advance if you can, to get the best deals – or party the night away in a Vegas nightclub.

  • Hotel (1 night)

There are no meals included on this day.

  • Las Vegas - Big Apple Express roller coaster - USD15
  • Las Vegas - Mob Museum - USD27
  • Las Vegas - Monorail - USD5
  • Las Vegas - Bellagio Fountains - Free
  • Las Vegas - Eiffel Tower - USD22

It’s very important that you attend the welcome meeting as we will be collecting insurance details and next of kin information at this time. If you are going to be late please let your travel agent or hotel reception know. Ask reception or look for a note in the lobby for more information on where the meeting will take place. If you can't arrange a flight that will arrive in time, you may wish to arrive a day early so you're able to attend. We'll be happy to book additional accommodation for you (subject to availability).

Leave the bright lights of Vegas behind and drive into the Eastern Sierra Nevada toward the quaint town of Bishop. On arrival, check out the town or perhaps treat yourself to the crispy cookies or ‘bear claws’ at Erick Schat’s Dutch bakery. Later this afternoon, join the group for a soothing soak in a natural hot spring – perfect for those wanting to relax before an action-packed few days in Yosemite. Tonight, you’ll camp under the stars in Bishop.

  • Camping (with facilities) (1 night)

Today's total driving time is approximately 5 hours.

When Tioga Pass is closed due to snow, we will take an alternate route around the Sierras and camp on the eastern side tonight. In this case we will not visit Mono Lake or Keough Hot Springs. While it is not possible to predict exactly when the pass will open, in 2023 it opened 22 July, and in 2024 opened 10 June.

Prepare for some spectacular mountain scenery as you depart from Bishop and head west to Yosemite National Park. This morning, stop at crystal clear lakes – including Mono and Tenaya – before continuing through the Tioga Pass (snow levels permitting) into the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Stop by Olmstead Point to marvel at Yosemite’s natural wonder, Half Dome, before arriving at one of the most famous parks in the USA. Yosemite's colossal granite cliffs, cascading waterfalls (depending on season) and redwood forests attract visitors from all over the world. You'll spend three nights near the park, meaning you have two full days to explore.

  • Yosemite National Park - Entrance Fee
  • Visit to Mono Lake

Start today with an orientation tour of the village before heading out for a free day of exploration. There are plenty of hikes available, each varying in steepness and difficulty. Hike The Mist Trail to Nevada Falls (2–5 hours) or to the serene Mirror Lake (45 minutes). Keep an eye out for squirrels and perhaps even a bear along the way. You might prefer to hire a bike and explore Yosemite Valley, visiting the park's museum, photo gallery, shops and restaurants along the way. In the heat of summer, a relaxing float down the Merced River followed by a few drinks at the park's cafe is just the trick.

  • Yosemite - Cycling in Yosemite Valley - USD12
  • Yosemite National Park - Hiking - Free

Today there’s a chance to explore a different side of the park as you join your leader on a guided hike to Hetch Hetchy Valley. Tucked away in the northwest corner of Yosemite, Hetch Hetchy is a wilderness of cascading waterfalls (in Spring), towering cliff faces and beautiful wildflowers. Boasting one of the longest hiking seasons in the park, the ecologically diverse valley attracts a fraction of the visitors in comparison to other more well-known hiking spots in Yosemite – which means it’s an ideal area for those who have extra time to explore the park in depth.

Leave Yosemite behind today and drive west to San Francisco. The 'City by the Bay' has a beautiful setting and a vibrant, multicultural heart. You might like to check out the vintage stores along funky Haight Street, catch the tram down to the waterfront or take an Adventure Cat Bay Cruise. The trip finishes on arrival into San Francisco after a stop to check out the Golden Gate Bridge, and no accommodation is provided tonight. As there's a great deal to do in San Francisco, we recommend you stay a couple of extra days to make the most of the city. If you do wish to spend extra time in San Francisco, we'll be happy to help you book additional accommodation (subject to availability).

  • San Francisco - Sunset catamaran cruise - USD45

Today's total driving time is approximately 4 hours.

As there's a great deal to do in San Francisco, we recommend you stay a couple of extra days to make the most of the city. This trip doesn't allow time for a visit to Alcatraz, so you'll need to make your own arrangements to visit the island prison. Tickets must be booked in advance, as they're limited and sell out quickly.

Notes: You can make your own Alcatraz reservations online at alcatrazcruises.com or call +1 415 981 7625 between the hours of 8 am and 7 pm, Pacific Standard Time (USA). We recommend booking your tickets for the day after the trip finishes. If you need help booking extra accommodation, our reservations team will be happy to assist (subject to availability). Also consider joining a one-day sightseeing tour of San Francisco through urbanadventures.com.

Las Vegas Cruise & Stay

"Las Vegas is where the world goes to indulge, party and gamble 'til dawn."

Welcome to Las Vegas

If you've ever wanted to take a little more time to truly explore a destination before or after a cruise, then one of our cruise and stay package deals could be exactly what you're looking for.

Las Vegas (www.lasvegas.com) is possibly one of the most magical places on the planet. A Disneyland for adults if you will. The city is well known for its tolerance of all forms of adult entertainment and, for this reason, has gained the moniker of “Sin City”.

As many know, this exciting city is hundreds of miles from the Pacific Ocean and often reaches temperatures in the summer of over 45C. If you plan to spend any time outdoors be prepared for it, always wear sunscreen and pack accordingly.

For more information, why not check out our  Las Vegas destination guide !

A neon-lit oasis of all-night entertainment and over-the-top opulence in Nevada's Mojave Desert, Las Vegas is where the world goes to indulge, party and gamble 'til dawn. The city's famous Strip is where the action takes place - with the globe's most famous casino hotels and entertainment venues vying for visitors’ attention through a serious of increasingly dramatic shows, water and light displays.

Inside, things get seriously luxe. Every hotel seems to have its own five-star restaurant, and the chef's list reads like a who's who of the best-known names in international cuisine. From hotel lobbies that feature aquariums with real life "mermaids" to an entirely recreated floating city, the Eiffel Tower to the pyramids of Egypt, Las Vegas intends, and spectacularly succeeds, at dazzling everyone who steps through the door.

Away from the bright lights of the Strip, one of the world's most magnificent natural sights can easily be reached on a day trip - the incredible Grand Canyon. Closer to the city, the Rock Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers those looking for hiking in the great outdoors a chance to see Nevada's Mojave Desert up close.

Weather in The USA

Things to do in las vegas.

Las Vegas Strip

One of the most famous stretches of roads in the world, the Las Vegas Strip should be the first place you explore on a trip to the city…

Lined with famous casino hotels, including the Bellagio, the Venetian, the MGM Grand and the Palazzo, you'll find iconic sights - like the High Roller observation wheel and Bellagio Fountains - everywhere you look.

Grand Canyon Tour

One of the most popular day trips from Las Vegas is to visit the Grand Canyon, either by bus or, for a luxury option, on a helicopter tour…

The Grand Canyon is just over four hours away from the Las Vegas strip by car, but for those short on time and looking for a unique aerial view of one of the world's greatest natural wonders, helicopter tours are readily available.

Gondola Ride at The Venetian

One of the most iconic hotels in Las Vegas, The Venetian Hotel features a shopping arcade created to mirror Italy's floating city of Venice…

With canals and bridges, including accurate recreations of Venice's Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge, take a romantic gondola ride under the painted blue skies to experience one of Las Vegas's most famous attractions.

The Stratosphere Tower

If you have a head for heights and are looking Las Vegas thrills, the 1,149ft high Stratosphere Tower should be at the top of your sightseeing list…

With a range of adrenaline pumping rides - including the Big Shot, X Scream and SkyJump - as well as indoor and outdoor observation decks, the Stratosphere Tower claims to be the "tallest freestanding observation tower in the USA."

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is one of Nevada's most popular natural tourist attractions…

Featuring a one-way 13-mile scenic drive and the chance to explore some 195,819 acres of the Mojave Desert just a few miles west of Las Vegas, the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is one of Nevada's most popular natural tourist attractions. Visitors have the opportunity to find out about the geology, vegetation and wildlife of the canyon, as well as explore many different hiking trails.

Restaurants in Las Vegas

Gordon ramsay's hell's kitchen.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's Las Vegas restaurant is one of the most popular places to grab a bite on the Strip. Guests are greeted at the door by the famous chef himself - albeit a virtual version on a screen. The menu offers classic Las Vegas dishes like braised short rib, alongside Ramsay's traditionally British dishes such as Beef Wellington.

Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand

France's most famous chef, Joël Robuchon, serves up the best French cuisine in Las Vegas at his MGM Grand restaurant. The only restaurant in Las Vegas to receive three Michelin stars, guests can choose from a six or 16-course meal of deliciously exquisite dishes. For a slightly less formal dining experience, the French chef also has the Michelin-starred L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand.

Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace

This multi award-winning restaurant is considered the best fine-dining location in Las Vegas. Not only does it hold a prestigious Forbes Travel Five Star Award, it was also awarded an AAA Five Diamond award, and two Michelin stars. With a menu that features many of Savoy's most popular dishes from his Paris restaurant, choose from an à la carte menu or the innovation menu - served for the entire table.

Top of the World at Stratosphere

Looking for dinner with jaw-dropping views? Head to Top of the World at Stratosphere. The Las Vegas restaurant sits 800ft above the strip, with 360-degree views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Top of the World's steak is a must, but the restaurant also caters for vegetarians and gluten-free diners.

Las Vegas Nightlife

Mandarin bar.

Start a decadent night out in Las Vegas with a cocktail at one of the city's best hotel bars. Located on the 23rd floor of the Mandarin Oriental, the Mandarin Bar is stylish and sophisticated, with elegant drink concoctions to match. Choose a cocktail and soak in the view - from here the Vegas skyline is nothing short of spectacular.

Wayfarer Bar

A sleek downtown bar, located inside the Inspire Theatre on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Fremont Street, the Wayfarer is one of the recent attempts to class up the area. Outside, you'll still find the colourful characters of Fremont Street, but step inside to be transported to an elegant vintage lounge, known for their excellent whisky cocktails.

Lily Bar & Lounge at Bellagio

If money is no object and you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime drinking experience in Las Vegas, head to the Lily Bar & Lounge at Bellagio and order their famous 1914 Sidecar. The extraordinarily expensive drink, coming in at $400, is created using the rare Ferrand Cognac Memoire 1914 and the equally prestigious Grand Marnier Quintessence liqueur, with a touch of lemon juice and served in a sugar-rimmed Martini-glass.

Hakkasan at MGM Grand

The biggest and most famous nightclub in Las Vegas, Hakkasan at MGM Grand is the place to go for guaranteed super-star DJs and all-night party antics. Some of the most well-known names in dance have graced the decks here - from Tiesto to Calvin Harris and Steve Aoki.

Events in Las Vegas

New year's eve.

It's one of America's top destinations to spend New Year's Eve, and with more than 300,00 people partying their way to midnight on the Strip, spending New Year's Eve in Las Vegas is an event you'll never forget. The entire Strip becomes a pedestrian-only zone, with each casino and club offering their own entertainment. As the clock strikes 12, prepare for an impressively-choreographed fireworks display.

South Point 400

Catch some of the world's top drivers as they descend on Las Vegas for the Fall NASCAR Weekend. One of two NASCAR events held in Las Vegas annually - the other taking place in March - the South Point 400 is held in September. As well as all of the racing action, fans can also find live music and entertainment throughout the weekend, as well as close up views of the garages and Victory Lane from the Neon Garage.

Great American Foodie Fest

Showcasing some of the best gourmet food trucks from all over America, the Great American Foodie Fest is Las Vegas's most delicious annual event. Running for four days in April, the foodie festival features everything from burgers to tacos, corndogs to mac 'n' cheese, as well as carnival rides, competitions and a beer garden.

Feds charge San Francisco towing company operator amid FBI raids

Tow trucks parked next to a building.

The U.S. Department of Justice charged a San Francisco towing company operator this week with insurance fraud on the same day that federal agents executed search warrants at one of his tow yards.

Jose Vicente Badillo, 28, the towing company operator, is facing mail fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering charges related to a scheme to defraud an auto insurance company. Also charged in the case is 30-year-old Jessica Elizabeth Najarro.

Building at night with lighted up sign on it saying Specialty Towing.

Federal prosecutors alleged in a criminal complaint that Badillo and Najarro conspired to defraud the company by submitting a fraudulent insurance claim on a wrecked car that he had purchased in June 2019. Prosecutors said the car Badillo purchased already had front-end damage and a non-functioning engine.

Still, prosecutors alleged Najarro took ownership of the car, purchased insurance for it, then filed a car accident claim. They said she received an insurance reimbursement check for $34,000 and deposited it in a Wells Fargo Bank account allegedly controlled by Badillo.

Badillo was arrested Thursday, the same day that FBI agents were executing several search warrants in San Francisco, including at one of the towing yards operated by Badillo and his wife, Abigail T. Fuentes.

They arrived at work to find about a dozen agents. No comment from FBI yet. pic.twitter.com/SVUDXiRSCX — Sergio Quintana (@svqjournalist) August 8, 2024

A spokesperson with the Department of Justice said Badillo was arrested at a residence during the FBI raids. Badillo was later released after posting a $50,000 bond.

Badillo and Fuentes did not respond to requests for comment.

It is the latest criminal case brought against Badillo who, along with Fuentes, is facing multiple felonies stemming from an alleged welfare fraud scheme that was brought against them in October by the San Francisco County district attorney’s office.

Prosecutors in that case alleged that as a Human Services Agency worker, Fuentes approved Badillo’s applications for public welfare programs and failed to disclose her relationship to him.

They alleged that the pair also lied about their income and assets to receive other public benefits including Medi-Cal and CalWorks.

Prosecutors said while both schemes were happening, Badillo and Fuentes jointly operated three towing businesses between 2018 and 2023. Prosecutors said the three companies — Auto Towing, Jose’s Towing and Specialty Towing and Recovery — generated more than $2 million in gross annual income.

The scandals started to come more into light in April after a video, which went viral, showed a Specialty Towing truck driver trying to tow a couple’s car while they were stopped at a red light in downtown San Francisco.

A yellow tow ruck pulls a silver car behind it near a building

The video shows the truck reversing with its wheel-lift lowered, attempting to hook the front wheels of a silver Honda sedan, which kept reversing to avoid the tow truck.

By then, Badillo and Fuentes had been banned from operating in the city because of the welfare fraud case and allegations that one of their companies was profiting from illegal tows.

In August of last year, San Francisco City Atty. David Chiu initiated debarment proceedings against Auto Towing to ban them from bidding or receiving contracts for five years after investigators learned employees had illegally placed a towing sign in the parking lot of a local bank and towed cars without permission between February and May 2023.

A sign on a fence warning of towing on private property.

The debarment process often requires an administrative hearing before contractors accused of misconduct are prohibited from receiving city funds.

Chiu said many of the victims whose cars were towed were residents who primarily spoke Spanish and Cantonese, a group that is already susceptible to predatory towing.

“Auto Towing also made it difficult for vehicle owners to retrieve their vehicles, restricted the hours when vehicles could be retrieved, and pressured vehicle owners to pay in cash,” Chiu said in a written statement at the time.

As part of the process, Chiu listed seven witnesses including car owners and the bank’s branch manager in court documents. Also included in the complaint were photos that showed tow trucks hooking up cars from the bank’s parking lot, as well as a receipt for more than $500 that Chiu said each car owner had to pay to retrieve their vehicles.

Chiu took additional action in February by suspending Badillo and Fuentes as well as the three companies they jointly operate, immediately prohibiting them from receiving public funds and receiving contracts until the welfare fraud case is resolved.

“Fuentes and Badillo have demonstrated a clear pattern of predatory behavior designed to enrich themselves at the expense of the most vulnerable among us,” Chiu said in a written statement. “Our City has no interest in contracting with exploitative businesses engaged in illegal conduct.”

Worst experience ever while touring a unit. I called 2 hours before my tour to confirmed my appointment. I was advised by the individual who answered the phone at my schedule was set for a specific time. When I arrived I was waiting about 15 minutes in an empty office, when this rep by the name of Kelly appeared looking half Asleep and hair all over the place. She was extremely inconsiderate but offered to tour me around for 2 minutes because she had other appointments, guess my appointment didn't matter. I should listen to the reviews were ppl are stating the reps here are extremely rude and don't really care to provided a pleasant service. Kelly just kept repeating all this is in our website like she was annoyed by my basic question. I couldn't stand being disrespect by here so I decided to leave! After she told me she didn't have anymore time since there was another appointment waiting. I'm for sure never coming back! Side note after I expressed my confusion that she didn't have me scheduled. I told her ms.stone confirmed my appointments. Her response was I don't know her she must work for the call center, so please relax! I was taken back bc never once was I upset or yelling inside more confused and trying to understand what is going on!

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the customer service I have received from your company and to bring to your attention what I believe to be violations of fair housing regulations. I kindly request that you address these concerns promptly and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. Firstly, I have encountered numerous instances of poor customer service when dealing with your staff. The lack of responsiveness, unprofessional behavior, and dismissive attitude towards my inquiries and concerns have left me feeling frustrated and unheard. As a resident of your condominium community, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, and I believe that the level of customer service I have experienced thus far falls far below acceptable standards. I was only here a week and I left . You can't get in touch with corporate or the regional manager. The leasing agent Kiara and Property manager Susanna are so nonchalant and unethical it's unreal I will see this company in court soon .

Upon our arrival to las vegas on 12/19/2023 we were excited. We could not check into our hotel until later so we decided to go and view the apartment that i heard about and viewed on youtube. When my husband and I arrived there. There were 3 young women in the office looking and ignoring us as if we were invisible. I couldn't understand why we were treated with such an unwelcoming response. We finally got into the leasing office by following a tenant who worked there and I asked didn't you see us and their response was yes and was told that we had to call/press the button outside of the door. Now remind you. We are coming in from another state as a potential future resident. They did not disclose anything out side stating that we had to call to come into the leasing office. Also, there was another individual standing outside as well waiting to get in as well and did the same thing to them. I was observing how potential tenants were being treated. Once inside, I gave them my name and then only then the young lady name Keira, not sure if spelled it correctly, but anyhow. I have been conversing back and forth with her via email and she knew who I was after I mentioned my name and had acknowledge that she was the one that had spoken with me and I had informed her that my husband and I will be in Vegas and will stopping by. I met Keira briefly and we were handing off to another one of her colleague, I forget her name. To be honest she isn't worth mentioning and the area didn't seem safe or promising to live at. My husband and I was looking at her and each other as she had no customer service skills, non-responsive when you had a question, or she just simply gave us the impression she didn't want to really provide us with any information and we felt rushed through the so called tour. My husband and I couldn't wait for it to be over. I said if they treated us like this and we're from out of town. What impression and demeanor will they have on us as a future tenant. We left and will not be seeking any apartments with them. Please folks, do your due diligence when considering Elysian @ the Palms. Common Courtesy, patience are key when dealing with customers/people. May want to brush up on Etiquette skills. The Watson's.

DO NOT trust any of the Elysian properties. All they want is your money, and they don't come through on any promises of luxury living. the fire alarm system has been broken for 2 years. they go off randomly for hours at a time. management does nothing to fix it. the luxury pool and spa are consistently not working. hot tub? no... warm tub at best. cold tub 40% of the year. there are cockroaches everywhere. the elevators break down once a week and are out of service for several days. try bringing your groceries up 7 flights of stairs They have 4 pool tables on property... full set of billiard balls (no 8 ball, actually), and literally one pathetic pool cue. Their coffee bar and espresso machines break consistently and you don't have access to many of the amenities you pay hundreds of dollars a month for. they supposedly have cameras everywhere, but security has told me that they're not actually in use and can never pull footage. I had my car broken into and $3k worth of items stolen... management did nothing and couldn't provide help. there is security that works 24hrs a day... but they're usually sitting around inside on their phones. I was in some domestic violence this year and management was no help in providing safety for me or my belongings. I had to stay at a shelter while my abuser had full access to everything in my apartment, even though he wasn't even on the lease. management is rude, completely unwilling to work with tenants, completely unprofessional. they never answer the phone and they're never in the office. they held my mail for 2 months without letting me know. I had important court and bank documents that I didn't have access to. they don't post notices on your doors like they should, and then try to penalize you for not having the information they supposedly gave you. I've lived at this complex for over a year, and they treat me like shit. I cannot believe I still choose to give them $2k+ a month for renting a 1bd 1bth. Worse decision I've ever made was choosing to live here. No one in the community respects management and are all very frustrated with their lack of empathy and obvious common sense. Just absolute garbage people work here.

Is there something brewing between the Las Vegas Raiders and Brandon Aiyuk?

Las Vegas Raiders' David Shaw

The Las Vegas Raiders were heavily involved in trade rumors this past offseason. That included the possible trade of Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams .

Things have died down on this front recently, with Adams’ agent Frank Bauer over at Sun West Sports denying that a trade was in the cards.

We can’t say the same thing for fellow star receiver Brandon Aiyuk of the San Francisco 49ers. The two were engaged on contract extension talks before things broke down in May. Since then, Aiyuk has held out from mandatory minicamp, requested a trade and isn’t currently practicing with the team during training camp.

More recently, it was reported by multiple outlets that the 49ers are engaged in trade conversations with other teams for the 26-year-old pass-catcher.

So, what do the All-Pro receiver and Las Vegas have in common?

It is rather simple. Rumors have pointed to Aiyuk heading to the Raiders as part of a package for Adams. These rumors are not going to die down after what we saw on Wednesday.

Let us explain.

Brandon Aiyuk agent at Las Vegas Raiders training camp amid trade rumors

Brandon Aiyuk, Las Vegas Raiders

Live on the set from Raiders camp in Southern California on Wednesday, NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo welcomed Aiyuk’s agent Ryan Williams. Amid rumors of his client potentially being traded, Williams refused comment on whether his presence was a harbinger of things to come. He also said nothing has been finalized. Check out the clip.

From Inside Training Camp Live on @nflnetwork with #49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk’s agent @RyanWilliamsA1 … sort of. pic.twitter.com/GaZatHW2xx — Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) August 7, 2024

We can’t necessarily read between the lines here. Though, this is rather interesting stuff.

For Las Vegas, acquiring Aiyuk would make a ton of sense. He’s four years younger than Adams. This fits in with the team’s rebuild plans.

As for Adams, he’s shown a ton of frustration over the Raiders’ struggles. The veteran wants to compete for a title. That’s unlikely to happen over the short term in Vegas.

San Francsico is the defending NFC champions and held a 10-point lead over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl prior to blowing it and losing in overtime. Adams is also a Northern California native who played college ball at Fresno State.

This all leads to the potential of a blockbuster trade between the two former Bay Area rivals. Wouldn’t it be something?
