With support from Teenage Wrist, Spy, Gridiron, and Soul Blind

Code Orange have announced a 2024 North American tour in support of their new album The Above .

The outing launches February 13th in Austin, Texas, and runs through March 17th in Los Angeles. Openers include Teenage Wrist and Soul Blind on all dates, with Spy and Gridiron on select shows, plus one more act to be announced.

Code Orange (formerly known as Code Orange Kids) are one of the heaviest bands I’ve ever seen. Their music is along the lines of grindcore, (yes it is that heavy), and this horde of metal lovers are so ready for their fill this evening as Code Orange Kids take to the stage. Reba Meyers, the lead screamer, and front woman is one scary force of nature playing her ESP SG style guitar with hair down her face, screaming nothing sweet down the microphone.

One thing I really do not approve of is the behaviour of this crowd, who think it’s fine to run on stage, dance around a little bit, throwing their limbs all over the place and then diving off the stage into a crowd that isn’t really there so just grabbing some poor helpless person and taking them down. That’s not stage diving that’s stage attacking! Rant over, this band have a some chops, there are some good musical moments, but the when the drummer says anything over the microphone it sounds as though he’s having a real hissy fit, with little to no words actually being heard, but hey, this is floating some ones boat somewhere!

PA hardcore punks Code Orange have announced their 2022 North American ‘Out For Blood Tour,’ which kicks off in early April and runs through May with help from support acts Loathe, Vended and Dying Wish. In addition, Code Orange have also revealed plans to hook up with Korn and Chevelle for a U.S. arena tour prior to their spring headliner — all dates are posted below.

Regarding the new tour dates, Code Orange vocalist Jami Morgan comments, “ We can’t wait to get out on the road and not only support the legends KORN but be able to showcase a more fully realized live vision at our own headline shows. We’re also excited to share the stage with three killer new bands in LOATHE, DYING WISH and VENDED. Can’t wait to see all the THINNERS OF THE HERD out there and make some new ones .”

A presser adds, “ The upcoming tour dates will see Code Orange debuting their brand-new single, “Out For Blood” live for the first time. The track, which is impacting Active Rock radio now, is available on all streaming platforms , and is joined by an official music video directed by Max Moore – watch it HERE [embedded below]. Produced by Rob Cavallo (My Chemical Romance / Green Day), “Out For Blood” was named one of The FADER’s “20 Best Rock Songs Right Now,” with REVOLVER attesting, “Simply put, the song is a blast”. ”

CODE ORANGE Announce 2022 North American “Out For Blood Tour” with Special Guests LOATHE, VENDED and DYING WISH

2x GRAMMY-nominated band Code Orange have announced details of their 2022 North American “Out For Blood Tour.” The upcoming dates, which will feature support from Loathe , Vended , and Dying Wish , are set to get underway April 3rd in Detroit, MI and continue through a performance on May 7th in Boston, MA (full itinerary below).

Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available for members of the band’s fan club beginning Thursday, December 16th at 9:00AM local time, with general on sale for tickets starting Friday, December 17th at 9:00AM local time. Furthermore, Code Orange have been announced as special guests on KORN ’s upcoming 2022 U.S. headline arena tour, which kicks off March 4th in Springfield, MO. Comprised of  Jami Morgan  (Vocals / Drums),  Eric ‘Shade’ Balderose  (Electronics / Guitar / Vocals),  Reba Meyers  (Guitar / Vocals),  Dominic Landolina  (Guitar) and  Joe Goldman  (Bass),  Code Orange  flipped the heavy music world on its head with their breakthrough album  “Forever” , a collection that masterfully mixed hardcore aggression with urgent industrial textures, earning the band a breakthrough GRAMMY nomination and top placement on several “Best of 2017” lists.  “Forever”  was followed by the 2018 release of  “The Hurt Will Go On,”  a digital EP featuring  “3 Knives”  and  “The Hunt”  Feat.  Corey Taylor , as well as  “The Hurt Will Go On” (Shade Remix) , an official remix of  Code Orange ’s  “Hurt Goes On”  helmed by the band’s guitarist and vocalist  Shade .

Code Orange Cancel Spring Tour as Guitarist Battles ‘Serious Health Issues’

Pittsburgh metal core outfit Code Orange have canceled their upcoming tour dates due to guitarist Dom Landolina’s ongoing health issues.

In a statement shared on social media , Code Orange didn’t specify Landolina’s ailment, saying only that he’s been “dealing with serious health issues over the past year that have led to his inability to play, perform and live comfortably.” 

Code Orange continued: “While he gritted through our fall performances, his issues were exasperated by them. We wanted to give him proper time to heal before making a group decision, and were very hopeful he would be able to return by February. Ultimately its been determined that he is unable to play guitar at this time. We take this decision very seriously, and this is the last way we intended to start this era.”

The band’s co-headlining tour was set to launchon on Feb. 13 in Austin and wrap on March 17 in Los Angeles, with support from Gel, Teenage Wrist, Soul Blind, Spy, and Gridiron. Code Orange have also pulled out of their scheduled appearances at Pulp Summer Slam and the ShipRocked cruise. Refunds for the headlining tour dates will be made available through the point of purchase. 

Code Orange released their most recent album, The Above , last September. The album followed their 2020 breakthrough album, Underneath , and featured a vocal contribution from the Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan on the song “Take Shape.”
