Lovely game, my only bad feedback is that sometimes it is difficult to place new items. Other than that I loved the game. I definitely will be purchasing when it is available.

This game seem like tavern owner simulator :3 This is awesome :) I like it! 

music is good. I feel enjoy >w<) and game design is pretty good too.(I can't said surely because i stil didn't play full game)

i just have 2-3  problems in this demo (i don't know lastest game process ) is 

(1) my finger is so tired when (because walk is slow) i want to run everytime  So i press shift and WASD in same time (can switch 'run' (without press shift) and 'walk' (with press shift) or atleast can setting this)

(2) Font is small. I can see them but hard to read them. because font is small (or maybe type of font, i don't know)

(3) I want to pick up some wood  below side but menu game is front (cover up) ;-;) It's no problem to pick up but i'm just feel little annoy. I want auto move menu from below to upper when Player move to below side.

Don't worry It's just my onion.. i mean opinion.

however, THIS IS SO NICE GAME!! :-)

Had a little fun, some mess got stuck under some of the AI and I could not clean it, rappidly losing REP. Look forward to playing it in a more finished, polished state.

Will this be releasing here as well? I had a lot of fun with the demo, but it cut off waaaay too soon, and I'd love to buy the game. I don't really purchase on Steam, though. It's GOG or Itch for me.

Lost my entire account there years back so, while I do occasionally redeem a gift or unlock some bundle content on my replacemernt accoutn, I don't really buy there anymore. I like how, with either Itch or GOG, even if I were to be completely banned from the store I wouldn't lose the games I already bought. They're on my NAS, not lost in the cloud, so while I may miss a patch if I don't have access to the account I bought it on I won't ever lose everything again.

Funny, my GoG games are also stored on my NAS :)

It's true, you can never really lose your GoG purchases and even GoG can't take them away from you!

Hey, this game looks awesome, I accidentally found this when I was searching for Stardew Valley. This looks very similar to it. I was fascinated by the fact that this was developed in unity. I appreciate the effort you put into this game. Do you run any YouTube channel or did you document your journey from starting to the end of this game? If yes I'd love to see that. Stardew valley beginner walkthrough: how to start playing, stop giving games you like bad reviews, quick links, keep a simple menu, mine minerals daily, use your aging barrels overnight, focus on being self-sufficient, plan your schedule, do not hire a lot of staff, use strategies to serve efficiently, refill your water bucket often, do not spend much on agatha's shop.

Tavern management may seem like a daunting task as a beginner in Travellers Rest . You need to work fast to ensure your customer satisfaction while focusing on the growth of your bar. While the game's tutorial does teach you a lot of things, you need much more than that to maximize your profits.

The tavern simulation and adventure video game Travellers Rest has officially opened its doors for business on Steam’s Early Access program.

There are a few beginner tips that you should keep in mind to avoid mistakes during your gameplay. You will also be able to run your Tavern more efficiently if you take a few steps in the right direction.

Granted that Travellers Rest has a wide variety of recipes , you might be inclined towards adding more dishes to the menu. However, that might not be a good move for a beginner, especially when your restaurant staff is limited. You will end up overwhelming yourself with the preparation of various dishes while neglecting customers which will damage your reputation .

It's best to start with a few simple recipes that use fewer ingredients . You will be able to manage your resources efficiently while also increasing your profit. Some profitable beginner recipes include Grilled Steak, Porridge, and Bread . It's safe to focus on two drinks at a time since you have two Aging Barrels in your cellar.

You need a lot of coal, stone, and other ores for crafting purposes, especially during the later part of the game. You can smelt Iron ore into Iron bars on your crafting table to craft items. At the Stone Workstation, you can use the stones you gathered. You will be wasting a lot of resources if you skip mining daily as the Mineral Lodes reset every day .

Coal is an excellent fuel source, and you need a lot of it throughout your gameplay. To make almost anything in Travellers Rest, you need fuel to get your equipment working. It also saves you from the effort of chopping down multiple trees to get Kindling and Firewood.

Aging takes a lot of time, but you can cut that time short if you go to bed and sleep to start the next day . You can store items that require aging in the barrels in the cellar, once you have some time left after closing your Tavern. This is an efficient way to make use of your time while you are sleeping.

​​ Sell the maximum-aged drinks to earn maximum profit

The market in the town will provide you with some of the basic items, including meat, vegetables, and fish. However, to make the maximum profit, you may want to cut down on your expenses while shopping. It might take a while before you unlock fishing and livestock, so focus on growing vegetables.

You cannot keep serving your customers Water and Gruel – as you will get very little profit , so it's important to grow some produce that you can use in your recipes. We recommend you to grow plants and fruit trees that you can harvest repeatedly. Additionally, growing two to three vegetables is enough to make Vegetable Broth.

When purchasing seeds, keep in mind that specific crops will only be grown in certain seasons.

Tavern management can be overwhelming especially if you do not plan ahead. However, planning your day can help you get through it easily. There are a couple of steps that you have to take early in the morning before opening your Tavern.

As soon as you wake up, you should head to your kitchen to prepare a few recipes , as they take a little time to complete. Once your food starts processing, move out to tend to your crops . You can also take care of a few other tasks such as shopping, mining, or fishing .

Head inside the Tavern again once you are done and place the cooked food on the menu . Once you open your Tavern, we recommend you focus on it solely . If you try to do other tasks, you might cause your customers dissatisfaction while they are waiting for you.

While additional hands do help with the smooth running of the Tavern, they are also costly and can leave you bankrupt. Do not hire any staff as beginners unless you earn a stable income every day.

When you do get a bit of stable income, hiring staff will still give you much more freedom while your Tavern is open. You can hire either a Waiter or a Bartender for starters, since they will help you with food and drinks.

Your customers are travellers who are visiting your restaurant after a tiresome journey, so it's best not to make them wait too long. There are a few serving strategies that can help you serve them quickly. You also want to avoid a huge line at the counter .

Place the tables close to each other , and if they are near your counter, you can take care of your customers faster. If two or more customers order drinks, use your tray to carry a few . Keep the mop selected in the toolbar below so that you can clean your tavern quickly while also getting rid of unruly customers.

Water is one of the most used resources in Travellers Rest, so make sure to fill your water bucket every time you come across a well . This will save you from the hassle of leaving your Tavern to get some water whenever you need some for a recipe.

Make sure to fill up the Keg with Water before opening the Tavern to serve it quickly, as many customers will be ordering it even if you have some alcoholic beverages in stock.

Buying some decorations for your restaurant might seem appealing and will improve your Tavern's environment. However, do not spend a lot on expensive decorations . We recommend you craft some simple items like the Candle Holder to increase your customer's comfort.

There is a lot of chatter Friday morning on social media about a ball of bright light streaking through the sky over the Southeast.

Some are saying it may have been a meteor.

Chris Bonzagni, of Travelers Rest, said his Nest camera caught the video above around 1:15 a.m.

He lives near Tigerville Road.

There are many reports of people seeing the streak of bright light in the Boone and Avery areas of North Carolina, as well.

The Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation sent in the video below.

The foundation said the video was taken at 1:14 a.m. and shows the landscape completely lighting up in a couple of locations on the mountain.

Skip Middleton in Clyde, North Carolina, captured the videos below. He said the camera in these videos is facing Asheville.

PD: Woman driving nearly 100 mph crashes into downtown Travelers Rest business

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Crews are investigating after a car crashed into a downtown Travelers Rest business Tuesday morning.

According to the department, at approximately 2:48 a.m., officers were called to Free Hub Bicycles in the Lell Building located on South Main Street for a crash. Upon arrival, officers found the business severely damaged by a car that went directly into and through the building.

The owner released surveillance video of the crash:

Police said they found a woman outside of her car with substantial injuries, but still walking, and immediately called for EMS. She was the driver and only occupant of the car that crashed.

After further investigation, it was determined that alcohol and drugs were not contributing factors to this accident.

The department said the 35-year-old woman was pushing 100 miles per hour coming to the intersection and failed to keep her car on the road.

Officers stated that the driver was issued a ticket for traveling over 25 miles per hour greater than the posted speed limit of 25 miles per hour.
