Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic heritage bungalow in Bandra Bandstand, is undoubtedly among the most famous Bollywood homes in the country. Dubbed King of Bollywood, Khan bought the heritage mansion from the Bai Khorshed Bhanu Sanjana Trust in 2001, and renamed it to ‘Mannat’, which translates as ‘vow to god.’ He later built a six-storey building behind the original bungalow.

2. Hema Malini

Bollywood’s “Dream Girl” owns a couple of houses in the city, both of which are regularly visited by fans of old Bollywood. Once the undisputed queen of the industry, Hema Malini now lives between her Juhu and Goregaon residences, along with her two daughters. A stroll by her Juhu residence—well-located in a plush by-lane of the neighborhood—is easier to fit into a Bollywood tour of the city, considering its proximity to other celebrity homes.

Bollywood’s most legendary actor, Amitabh Bachan, owns two homes in the city, Prathiksha and Jalsa. Prathiksha is a sprawling bungalow in Juhu, and is where Bachchan lived with his parents, and later his wife and renowned actor Jaya Bachchan, for several decades. Later the family moved to Jalsa, yet another landmark bungalow in upscale Juhu.

And oh boy, aren’t we all a teeny bit curious to see how these gods and goddesses of the silver screen live in real life? So, without further ado, let’s kickstart this celebrity house hopping in Mumbai or as I like to call it Bolly-good journey!

I mean, as a hardcore Bollywood fangirl, I’d be lying if I said I haven’t spent countless hours daydreaming about bumping into Shah Rukh Khan while casually strolling on Bandstand or catching a glimpse of Deepika Padukone at her Prabhadevi residence. But, alas! Daydreams aren’t always served on a silver platter. So, what’s the next best thing? A good old Celebrity Darshan tour! Think about it. The wind in your hair, the buzzing Mumbai traffic, and your heart skipping a beat every time you pass a swanky Bollywood mansion, hoping to catch a glimpse of your favourite star. It’s quite a thrill, isn’t it?

Of course, we’re not going to be the paparazzi, lurking around corners with giant telephoto lenses. Oh, no, no, no. We’re going for casual, respectful sightseeing. Admiring from afar, you know, like any starstruck fan would do. After endless hours of fangirling and going down the rabbit hole of Bollywood celebrity addresses, I booked a Savaari in Mumbai and passed by all of these celebrity houses during my Mumbai Darshan . It was a trip filled with architectural marvels, sea-facing palaces, and who knows, maybe a chance encounter with the very stars we adore.

So, whether you’re a die-hard Bollywood fanatic like me, or just looking for a different flavour to your Mumbai sightseeing, buckle up! Bollywood celebrity houses in Bandra

Welcome to Bandra, Mumbai, the hub of Bollywood’s glitterati! Take a mesmerizing stroll through this star-studded neighborhood, where you can catch sight of iconic residences of your favorite celebrities. From Shah Rukh Khan’s opulent “Mannat” to Salman Khan’s grand “Galaxy Apartments,” and Amitabh Bachchan’s magnificent “Jalsa,” the allure of these extravagant abodes will leave you starstruck. Explore the secrets of showbiz luxury as you wander amidst the homes of India’s biggest stars.

Shah Rukh Khan – Mannat 

Well, there I was, grinning like an excited fangirl, parked outside the majestic stronghold of Bollywood’s very own king – Shah Rukh Khan. I kid you not, this place, Mannat, is right smack in the heart of Mumbai. The perfect abode for a king, if you ask me. In fact, the king’s domain has become a landmark in the city, with hordes of tourists and fans daily clustering at its gates like bees to honey. Naturally, yours truly was part of that fan horde, camera at the ready, hopeful for a fleeting glimpse of SRK. Or at least a selfie with the front door, I’m not picky.

As the gates opened and… nah, just kidding! I didn’t get to see him, not this time. But hey, there’s always next time. I’m thinking, maybe I’ll sync my next Mumbai trip with his birthday. With the tradition of him gracing his fans from his balcony on that day, I might just get lucky. But, until then, my dreamy photo of Mannat’s imposing gate will have to suffice.

Rekha – Sea Springs

Next stop, the divine Rekha’s abode. Now here’s a residence that truly mirrors its occupant – elegant, classic, and slightly elusive. Hidden behind high walls and lush greenery, this beautiful house is nestled by the sea at Bandra Bandstand. Try as I might, there was no peering through the thick curtain of bamboo and trees that kept prying eyes at bay. A perfect fortress of solitude for the ageless queen of Bollywood. While I didn’t get to lay my eyes on the Umrao Jaan star herself, just knowing I was breathing the same Bandra air was a fangirl moment in itself. I know, I’m hopeless, but hey, a girl can dream, right?

Mohammad Rafi – Rafi Mansion

Next on my grand Bollywood home tour, I sidled up to Rafi Mansion, straining to hear the ghostly echoes of “Yeh Reshmi Zulfein” emanating from its walls. My dad would always play Rafi Sahab’s songs, you see. This bungalow-turned-museum used to house the melody king himself – the late Mohammad Rafi. Just the sight of his awards and possessions gave me the feels. It was like a time machine straight to the golden era of Bollywood. A real treat for any music lover, let me tell you.

Salman Khan – Galaxy Apartments 

Then I found myself outside the Galaxy Apartments, the real-world galaxy of Bollywood’s resident celestial body, Salman Khan. Despite living a life filled with stardom and glamour, the Dabangg star remains a family man at heart, still residing in his childhood home with his extended family. Fans, like iron filings to a magnet, line up outside this place, hoping for a peek at their beloved “Bhaijaan.” A clear sign of his massive popularity and stardom in the city!

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt – Vastu

I then travelled to Vastu in Pali Hill, the love nest of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. You know, Ranbir Kapoor, my teenage crush. The mere thought of seeing him in the flesh sent my heart racing like a teenage girl at a boyband concert. However, just by luck, I arrived only to find out that the couple had already left. The swarm of paparazzi outside their home was my only solace, as we all shared in the disappointment. Oh well, there’s always next time.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor –  Fortune Heights

Next, I found myself gravitating towards Fortune Heights, the residence of Bollywood royalty, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Honestly, these two together give me major relationship goals! They’ve been happily cohabiting in this plush sanctuary since 2009, a few years before they officially tied the knot in 2012. With their abode perched on the top floor of the building, I can only imagine the sweeping views of Mumbai they must enjoy. I found myself in a sea of paparazzi trying to spot the power couple or their little princes, Taimur and Jeh.

Aamir Khan – Bella Vista Apartments

Finally, it was time to visit the place that Mr. Perfectionist himself, Aamir Khan, calls home. A living testament to his meticulous nature and attention to detail, his residence in Bandra’s Bella Vista Apartments is quite the sight. Spanning a sprawling 5,000 square feet, the apartment is a harmonious fusion of contemporary Asian and European design elements. Oh, and a cherry on top of my star-studded adventure was spotting Aamir in the flesh. An autograph, though? That might just have to wait for another starry day!

Sachin Tendulkar – Dorab Villa

When I was done with visiting all the celebrity houses in Bandra, my driver Mukesh bhaiya reminded me that my Mumbai darshan tour would be incomplete if I hadn’t visited the Master Blaster’s house. With excitement, we headed towards the iconic residence of the cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar, located in Bandra. Nestled amidst the charming lanes, Sachin’s house stands as a symbol of his unparalleled achievements and the love he received from millions of fans across the globe. Though we couldn’t go inside, just seeing the majestic mansion brought a sense of awe and admiration. The visit to Sachin’s house was undoubtedly a highlight of my Mumbai celebrity house-hopping journey, leaving me with unforgettable memories to cherish.

Things to do in Bandra

Bandra isn’t just about celebrity spotting! Once a cluster of fishing villages, Bandra has metamorphosed into a buzzing suburban hub. It is a vibrant blend of charming Goan-Portuguese bungalows, awe-inspiring churches, scenic promenades by the sea, and an array of dining and drinking establishments that cater to every budget. For many, this chic suburb epitomizes the spirit of Mumbai at its maximum. 

Just when you think Bandra has reached its saturation point in terms of eateries, bars, or stores, another one springs up, as if out of nowhere. Though Bandra offers a whole host of experiences beyond this list, book an hourly car rental in Bandra and indulge in some of these must-do activities in this dynamic corner of Mumbai:

• Visit Bandra Fort: Also known as Castella de Aguada, this is a historic fort located right at the edge of the sea. From here, you can witness the beautiful sight of the Bandra-Worli sea link.
• Explore Bandstand Promenade: This is a popular spot in Bandra where you can enjoy a leisurely walk while soaking in the view of the Arabian Sea.
• Shopping at Linking Road and Hill Road: Both these locations are famous for their street shopping and are ideal places to buy fashionable clothes, accessories, and footwear at reasonable prices.
• Enjoy the Street Food: Mumbai is famous for its street food, and Bandra is no exception. You must try local favourites like Vada Pav, Pani Puri, and Bhel Puri.
• Check out Mount Mary Church: This beautiful Roman Catholic Basilica, located atop a hill known as ‘Sunderban Bandra’, is a peaceful retreat. It’s particularly vibrant during the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary in September.

Amitabh Bachchan – Jalsa 

Ah, onto my father’s all-time favourite, the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan. Now, Mr. Bachchan owns two impressive properties in Mumbai – Prateeksha and Jalsa. A stroll past Prateeksha, a sprawling bungalow in Juhu, was like stepping into a Bollywood time capsule. This was the very abode where he once resided with his parents and later, with his equally talented wife, Jaya Bachchan. Over time, the Bachchan clan decided to nest in Jalsa, another awe-inspiring bungalow nestled in the plush locale of Juhu. Today, the vibrant Jalsa is home to Amitabh, his son Abhishek, Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their adorable daughter Aaradhya. And while catching a glimpse of this illustrious family was a long shot, just standing outside their residence was enough to give me goosebumps!

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh – BeauMonde Towers

My star tour continued to Prabhadevi, where Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have made their nest. This power couple owns a luxurious 4 BHK apartment in the towering BeauMonde Towers. Residing on the 33rd floor, they’re privy to a dazzling view of Mumbai’s skyline. Unfortunately, Deepika wasn’t in town during my visit, but just standing outside the building gave me a touch of the Shanti Priya magic!

Akshay Kumar – Prime Beach

Next on my itinerary was the heavenly abode of the Bollywood Khiladi, Akshay Kumar. Nestled by the sea in Juhu, Akshay’s villa is like a little slice of paradise. But here’s the real kicker – once upon a time, a young, hopeful Akshay was shooed away from this very bungalow during a portfolio photoshoot. Oh, how tables turn! Today, the star owns this property, having transformed it into a nurturing haven for his family. Now, isn’t that an inspiring tale of hard work paying off?

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal – Rajmahal  

Newly-wed stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s luxurious home was my next stop. Nestled in the elite Juhu area, their grandiose residence in the Rajmahal building overlooks the Arabian Sea. This eight-story architectural marvel, situated in Chandrabai Nagar, exudes the kind of opulence befitting two of Bollywood’s biggest stars. Guess what? I got more than just a peek at the building – I managed to snag an autograph and a selfie with Vicky Kaushal himself! Talk about a fan moment!

Hrithik Roshan- Mannat Apartments 

Oh, where do I even begin with my crush on Hrithik Roshan? The moment I heard the first notes of “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” echo through the house, I was smitten. My younger self must have watched that movie well over a hundred times, which is no mean feat, I assure you! So, you can imagine my uncontrollable excitement when I finally got to see his apartment in Juhu.

And let me tell you, it was everything I had dreamed of and more. I mean, this place had it all – distinctive features and lavish balconies, all done in this amazing nautical theme. Although I didn’t catch a glimpse of my beloved Bollywood hero, standing in front of the house that he calls home was a thrill enough for me. The house of the man who made me fall in love with Bollywood, who can ask for more, right? Well, apart from maybe a signed autograph, I suppose there’s always next time! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Priyanka Chopra – Karmayog 

 Finally, I paid a visit to the magnificent Mumbai property of the quintessential “desi girl” turned global icon, Priyanka Chopra. After making her mark in Hollywood and marrying pop sensation Nick Jonas, Priyanka now primarily resides in New York. But, she’s kept her connection to her roots, owning a 7-crore property in the Karmayog building in Juhu and an apartment in the vibrant Lokhandwala complex. Sadly, both houses were vacant during my visit. Next time she’s in town, I might just stake out for a chance to spot this globe-trotting star!

Things to do in Juhu

Nestled along the shores of the Arabian Sea, Juhu isn’t just a residential hub but a tourist hotspot as well. This upscale neighbourhood also boasts an impressive culinary landscape, from lip-smacking street food to plush fine-dining restaurants. The suburb is a perfect amalgamation of tranquillity and bustling city life. Book a Savaari in Bombay and explore the hotspot to the fullest by doing these things: 

• Visit Juhu Beach: Of course, the first thing on this list has to be a visit to the famous Juhu Beach. Whether it’s for a morning jog, a relaxed evening walk, or to enjoy the stunning sunset, this beach is a must-visit. You can also enjoy a variety of street foods like pani puri, pav bhaji, and ice gola.
• Explore ISKCON Temple: This magnificent temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple complex also houses a vegetarian restaurant and a guest house.
• Dine at Prithvi Café: Located within the premises of the famous Prithvi Theatre, this café is a cozy spot to enjoy some delicious food and a range of hot and cold beverages.
• Watch a Play at Prithvi Theatre: One of Mumbai’s iconic cultural hubs, Prithvi Theatre, is an intimate auditorium that showcases some of the best plays in the city. Get all the details related to what is screening, show timing & other events at Prithvi theatre here .
• Visit the Juhu Garden (Also known as Rotary Park): A beautiful park perfect for families, with a dedicated play area for kids and some interesting topiary work.

• Visit St. Joseph’s Church: This beautiful church is one of the oldest in the city and offers a serene environment.

With Virat, the ex-captain of the Indian cricket team, and Anushka, a prominent Bollywood actress, their union is an iconic blend of cricket and cinema. This dynamic duo owns a towering Mumbai apartment with a view that would leave anyone spellbound, a peaceful bungalow in Delhi that serves as a serene escape from city life, and a farmhouse in Alibaug that’s perfect for low-key getaways. If you thought their life couldn’t get any more glam, guess what? Shahid Kapoor is their neighbour!

Things to do in Worli

Worli is a bustling neighbourhood located in South Mumbai, characterized by a juxtaposition of old and new. The area, once dominated by traditional fishing communities, has transformed over the years into one of the city’s most upmarket localities. Worli now hosts a variety of commercial hubs, high-rise buildings, and luxury residential skyscrapers. From significant cultural spots and historic landmarks to a variety of dining and shopping options, Worli has something for everyone. Here are some things you can do when you’re in Worli while commuting in a Savaari :

• Visit the Worli Sea Face: Known for its stunning view of the Arabian Sea and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, the Worli Sea Face is a great place to enjoy a peaceful walk, especially during the early morning or late evening.
• Explore the Worli Fort: This historic fort, built by the British around 1675, offers a panoramic view of the city and the sea. It’s a great place to soak in a bit of history and enjoy a lovely sunset.
• Visit Haji Ali Dargah: This iconic 14th-century mosque and tomb situated on a tiny islet off the coast of Worli is an important pilgrimage site and a must-visit.
• Enjoy Shopping at High Street Phoenix Mall: This is one of the largest shopping malls in the city, housing a wide range of domestic and international brands.

Celebrity houses in Cumballa Hill

Ambani house – antilia.

Though not a Bollywood celebrity per se, it’s impossible not to mention Mukesh Ambani’s architectural marvel, Antilia, on my starry adventure. As the second most expensive house in the world, right after Buckingham Palace, it truly is a sight to behold. This 4000-square-foot oasis, located in Mumbai’s Altamount Road, was designed by the Chicago-based architects Perkins and Will and constructed by the Australian-based Leighton Holdings. Though I couldn’t tour inside, the magnificence of Antilia is something that leaves you awe-struck, even from a distance!

Things to do in Cumballa Hill 

Cumballa Hill is an upmarket neighbourhood in South Mumbai, well-known for its leafy lanes, colonial-era buildings, and luxury apartments. This serene residential area is home to several prominent figures, including Bollywood stars, entrepreneurs, and top-level executives. Despite its reputation as a residential zone, Cumballa Hill is far from monotonous and has much to offer in terms of activities and places to visit. Here are some things you can do when in Cumballa Hill:

• Visit Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum: This museum is dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi, India’s Father of the Nation. Here, you can explore a detailed exhibition showcasing his philosophy, beliefs, and significant life events.
• Shop at Heera Panna Shopping Center: This bustling shopping complex is a great place to buy electronics, jewellery, clothes, and other items. You can find some good bargains here if you’re willing to negotiate.
• Explore Hanging Gardens: Also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, these beautifully landscaped gardens on Malabar Hill offer spectacular sunset views over the Arabian Sea.
• Visit the Kamala Nehru Park: This park, named after the wife of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, is a delightful place for a leisurely stroll. The shoe-shaped structure within the park is a favourite among children.
• Enjoy Gourmet Delights: Cumballa Hill is home to several high-end restaurants and bakeries that serve a variety of cuisines. Indulge in some fine dining or simply grab a coffee at one of the local cafes.
• Visit the Parsi Tower of Silence: Although you cannot enter the Tower of Silence due to religious restrictions, you can walk around the area to understand Parsi culture and customs.
• Explore Priyadarshini Park: This large, open green space along the seafront is perfect for a morning jog or evening walk. It also has a sports complex with facilities for tennis, football, and more.
• Take a Walk on Cumballa Hill: Take a leisurely walk around this posh area, enjoy its calm ambiance, and marvel at the beautiful colonial architecture.

At the end of my celebrity house tour in Mumbai, I felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. I had seen up close the homes of my silver screen idols, and it was an inspiration. A beacon lighting up my dreams of one day owning such a residence when I succeed in my own endeavours. The upscale coastal suburb location of Mumbai - Bandra is popular for its hip and trendy vibe. From old bungalows to high-end boutiques, popular street market to wall painting fresco, Bandstand Promenade to the den of several Bollywood celebrities, Bandra is an essential locality of the maximum city. From Shah Rukh Khan's mansion Mannat to Saif Ali Khan's palace like home, Bandra is home to many prominent Bollywood celebs. 

From Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan to Kareena Kapoor Khan, a tour inside magnificent homes of five celebrities living in Bandra. 

Let's begin with the first family of Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's home Mannat is the ultimate definition of luxury. The iconic landmark draws tourists from across the globe. The sea-facing mansion is a six-storey-high bungalow. SRK had his eyes on the 1920s-era, Grade III heritage villa, Villa Vienna (Mannat's original name) and finally brought it in 2001. Mannat was designed by Gauri Khan, along with architect-designer Kaif Faquih and every floor has a unique and distinct theme. The house had multiple bedrooms, living areas, a library, an auditorium and a gymnasium. It is among one of the most expensive residences in Mumbai.

Salman Khan has been living in Galaxy Apartment for years now. Just like SRK's house, Bhaijaan's adobe is another tourist spot in Bandra. The building houses Khan's family and parents. “I love staying at my flat in Bandra over a big, luxurious bungalow because my parents live in the flat above mine. Ever since I was a child I have taken the same left turn or right turn and I would not have it any other way,” he said talking about his apartment, according to a report in Hindustan Times.

“The entire building is like one big family. When we were little, all the kids of the building would play together in the garden below and sometimes even sleep there. Back then, there weren’t different houses, all the houses were treated as our own and we would go into anyone’s house to eat food. I still stay in the same flat because I have countless memories attached to that house,” he added.

John Abraham's duplex apartment facing the Arabian sea is a 4,000-square-foot penthouse located in Bandra West. Named ‘Villa in the sky’, Abraham resides here with his wife Priya Runchal. The house is designed by John’s family’s firm Abraham John. The use of the floor-to-ceiling window, local woods and green construction practices makes it a beautiful adobe.

Designed by Gauri Khan, Ranbir Kapoor's house is swanky and the perfect bachelor pad. Talking about the house, Kapoor's father late Rishi Kapoor had tweeted, "Vastu" Wonderful! Gauri Khan! You have made a home out of Ranbir's house. Beautifully done! Both Neetu and me are overwhelmed. Thank you!" Located in Bandra’s Vastu Pali Hill, the house is worth Rs 35 crore, as per a TOI report.  

Designed by the Darshini Shah project, the couple has recently moved into a new home. The building Satguru Sharan is their new adobe which is located just next to old home Fortune Heights where they stayed for over a decade. The new home is a lot like the old pad with a new set of requirements keeping in mind the arrival of the second child. Talking about the house the interior designer Shah told Mumbai Mirror, "It has a beautiful new nursery for the baby, and Taimur’s own space as he’s growing up. It’s a lot larger than their old house; it’s more spacious with beautiful terraces, a swimming pool, outdoor areas, and open spaces that have been landscaped. It has room for everyone. They like their spaces to feel like their travel diaries. Everything that they have at home is something they have collected over time, and it has a memory or a story attached to it. Like, they love England, they like the colonial-classic style of decor. They also don’t like anything that's loud. Like their Fortune Heights’ home, even their new house has a library, artworks, antiques, candles, a certain kind of furniture."

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor’s patio + balcony offers the couple gorgeous, uninterrupted views of the Arabian sea. The breezy space is part of the duo’s Juhu penthouse in Mumbai and comes with a special alfresco entertaining spot. The pristine ivory sunk-in seating area is complemented by electric blue cushions, and this corner is often decorated with fairy lights or flowers on special occasions. White bougainvillaea line the space on either side, while towering palms finish the frame towards the front. Judging by both Shahid and Mira’s Instagram feeds, this outdoor section  also appears to be the most-loved part of their home, doubling up as a workout spot for the duo, and as a playground for their kids Misha and Zain Kapoor.

From Holi celebrations to lazy Sunday lunches with the family, and Instagram live sessions too—Kareena Kapoor Khan’s balcony in her new Bandra home plays home to multiple affairs. With checkered black and white flooring and plenty of shrubbery lining the space, the expansive balcony-terrace sits adjacent to Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s regal bedroom. A bright red couch takes residence in one corner, providing a vibrant backdrop for the actor’s signature sun-kissed selfies and at-home videos.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s luxurious Worli apartment comes with a cosy corridor-like balcony, perfect for looking over and soaking in the sea views. Cool wooden tiles line the floor here, along with floor-to-ceiling windows, lending the space a resort-like vibe and setting it apart from the palatial features of the rest of #Virushka’s home. On special occasions like Diwali, this area is given a festive makeover with fairy lights and romantic vines, as can be seen in the picture above.

Hrithik Roshan’s Juhu home , designed by architect Ashiesh Shah, comes with one of the most envy-worthy balcony areas. Attached to his living room, one part of the outdoor space dons a simple vibe with wooden tiles and a Dedon hanging lounger. The other corner, with its landscaped grass patch and floor-level sofas, doubles up as the actor and his kids’ workout and play spot respectively. Views of the Arabian sea, rustic decor elements like lanterns, a quirky framed quote on the wall, and a black telescope adorn this area, making it a one-of-a-kind outdoor space.

Alia Bhatt’s Mediterranean-inspired at-home office in Mumbai comes with the most tranquil, yet edgy, balcony. The teal-blue floor is speckled with snowflake-like patterns, complemented by the bright greens of the surrounding potted plants. A wooden swing suspended with ropes adds to the earthy accents in this space, while the eclectic light fixture hanging from the ceiling acts as an interesting surprise element.

Lovingly called “my little forest” by the actor, Taapsee Pannu’s quirky balcony happens to be her favourite spot in her Mumbai-based apartment , as she once revealed. The cosy space, which doubles up as her yoga studio, is also where she likes to begin each day with a cup of coffee and a meditation session. One vibrant wall here carries colourful curios like framed illustrations, planters, and posters, while the other end champions custom-made wooden elements like earthen pots, wall hangings and a Buddha figurine. The wooden flooring and edgy light fixtures give the cosy space a modern touch. A pristine white swing topped off with colourful cushions overlooks the Mumbai skyline, a perfect spot to lounge around in.

These Are Our Top 11 Celebrity Home Tours of All Time

There’s something about seeing how others live that’s intrinsic to human nature. We love peeking into our favorite celeb homes  just as much as we love peeking into our neighbors’  living room  windows on a leisurely late-night stroll. Seeing how people fashion their homes provides an intimate, voyeuristic look at how they live. While we all want to imagine how Brooklyn Decker spends her Saturday afternoons sprawled in front of her fireplace or where Whitney Port watches her favorite TV shows, unless we're invited over by divine intervention, we'll never know. 

Thankfully, some of them have kindly let the MyDomaine team inside to shoot their space and to share their mutual love of interior design. We feel incredibly fortunate at having had the opportunity to be in these celebrity homes and to interview them about design and life at home. So without further ado, step inside the homes of the rich and famous and get ready to give your home the star treatment.

We’ve already established that  Brooklyn Decker  is a bit of a closeted mastermind decorator. She did, after all, take on the remodel of the Austin ranch she shares with husband Andy Roddick entirely on her own. Decker relied on instinct and her discerning eye to add a bit of life to an otherwise ordinary dressing room.

When Estee Stanley and Mat Sanders undertook the redesign of actress Erin Foster’s home, the brief was to create a “light, not cluttered, and warm home.” By infusing the house with a mix of bright jewel and pastel tones, they were able to create a space that had a slight boho flair but still felt put-together and elegant.

There’s a clear rocker-chic vibe in the Los Angeles home of Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman and his wife, Marie. While the couple already had more than enough pieces of furniture to play with from their former homes in New York and Chicago, the design team at Consort brought in dramatic geometric and glam accents to accentuate the edgy vibes of this Spanish-style home.

Nina Dobrev  gravitates toward open, spacious homes—so she made sure this airy feeling translated into the design of her 1929 Spanish-style bungalow in West Hollywood. Sanders and Brandon Quattrone of  Consort Design  picked a predominantly white-and–light blue color scheme, using contrasting black accents used to maximize impact in the sparse décor.

  Tessa Neustadt ; DESIGN:  Orlando Soria  for  Homepolish

When  Homepolish  unveiled a newly decorated screening room for reality TV sweetheart Whitney Port we were in awe. “Whitney is definitely a California beach girl,” says Homepolish designer Orlando Soria, who used her coastal flair as inspiration for the bright, laid-back space.

Jessica Alba

When Jessica Alba called on Sanders and Quattrone to redesign  her guesthouse , she wanted it to feel more like a mashup between a hotel and a house. The inspiration: New York landmarks with an old-world vibe, like The Bowery and Gramercy Park Hotels. And, seeing how the home is in Los Angeles, Alba also wanted to infuse a maritime essence—this is where the blue palette and bold stripes come in.

Constance Zimmer

The former  Entourage  star Constance Zimmer’s family home is a far cry from her persona in the show—the home she shares with her husband reads softer and more feminine. To achieve the look, the kitchen cabinets were painted a soft blue-gray, and the kitchen was accented with copper accents with an industrial feel. The adjoining living room makes the space feel even more inviting, with a plush sofa and a bright pink ottoman. Their dog, Nico, sure seems to approve.

We all long for that cool, minimal look Anine Bing rocks on the daily, so we weren't surprised to discover her Los Angeles home also mimicked her effortless personal style. While simple and pared-back in appearance, every piece was thought through and hand-selected to ensure a cohesive and impactful space.

When we posted a  sneak-peek  of Denise Vasi's epic marble kitchen in her Venice Beach home, it instantly went viral. The actress and founder of  Maed  designed the entire home with her husband and director, Anthony Mandler and its old-world charm is not lost on us. We're completely smitten and would go as far to say this kitchen is our favorite of all time, ever.

Lauren Sanchez Is Assigned a Reporter—These Are the Multimillion-Dollar Homes To Stake Out

There are power couples ( Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce , Beyoncé  and JAY Z , Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck , to name a few), and then there are power couples.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are in a power category of their own thanks to the hundreds of billions of dollars at their disposal.

Recognizing this dynamic, the Daily Beast recently announced it was seeking a reporter to cover Sanchez exclusively . Of course, we began pondering the many mansions where she could be coming and going. At this point in time, it’s a worldwide guessing game of “Where in the world is Lauren Sanchez?”

The former broadcast journalist, pilot, and media personality certainly has an array of choices.

Bezos and his former wife, MacKenzie Scott , divorced in 2019. Since then, he and Sanchez have been busy scooping up luxe properties from Maui to Miami . The new crop of homes is in addition to the ones he owned during his marriage.

Bezos, founder of Amazon.com, has a fortune that’s estimated at a mind-boggling $199 billion. As of 2019, Bezos was among the largest landowners in the United States.

Let’s take a peek into their extensive, exclusive, and very expensive property collection. We can’t say whether you’ll see Sanchez, but at least we know where to look.

A few mansions in Florida

The couple recently made news with a series of splashy purchases in South Florida. Given Bezos’ net worth, it’s no surprise he tends to buy in bulk.

He and Sanchez picked up three pricey properties on exclusive Indian Creek Island in the Miami area.

After buying two adjoining homes for a reported $147 million, he dropped an additional $90 million on a third home on the isle.

According to Bloomberg , Bezos plans to live in the third home while he razes the first two.

The enclave known as the Billionaire Bunker has only 41 homes. Bezos’ neighbors on the isle include Tom Brady and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner .

As Bezos stocks up in Florida, he leaves the state of Washington further in his rearview mirror. The Pacific Northwest was where he kept his official residence for decades and where he founded the company that made him billions of dollars.

The world’s second-richest man announced his decision to become a Florida man last year .

Record-breaking buy in Beverly Hills

Over on the West Coast, the couple also made waves with a big buy. Bezos reportedly purchased the Warner Estate in Beverly Hills from media mogul David Geffen in an off-market deal in 2020. He spent $165 million on the legacy mansion, a California record at the time.

While we wondered if perhaps the billionaire had overpaid , his decision to buy the 9-acre estate was calculated.

According to the Hollywood Reporter , Bezos toured some 40 residences in Greater Los Angeles before engaging the owner of the spread he eventually purchased. The two apparently dispensed with listing agents, opting to negotiate a deal aboard Geffen’s yacht.

The spread in Beverly Hills includes the 13,600-square-foot, Georgian-style mansion from the 1930s, numerous guesthouses, a tennis court, and a nine-hole golf course.

Geffen picked up the place in 1990 for $47.5 million and embarked on an extensive remodel. It’s a good guess that Bezos might also add his own touches to the estate filled with Hollywood history.

While married, he and Scott owned two Beverly Hills properties worth a reported $55 million. Postdivorce, Scott donated those homes to an affordable housing charity.

Wowie in Maui

After the wheeling and dealing in SoCal, surely the couple needed to take a break. Where better than Hawaii?

In 2021, Bezos and Sanchez picked up a 14-acre estate on Maui . The off-market transaction was said to be in the neighborhood of $78 million.

Known as the Carter Estate, the property is located on the island’s southern shore. And, like the L.A. transaction, this deal was also off-market.

The property includes a 4,500-square-foot main house, a 1,700-square-foot guesthouse, and a 700-square-foot pool. The holding encompasses seven parcels, including a fish pond with a white-sand beach.

Local agents praised the property’s privacy and seclusion, key factors in Bezos’ big buy.

Empire state of mind

In 2019, Bezos made a real estate play in the Big Apple , picking up a penthouse, along with two apartments below it, for about $80 million .

Located downtown in a historic building converted into condos, the three-floor abode is the building’s crown jewel: It measures 10,000 square feet, and it has 5,730 square feet of terraces on all four sides.

Along with five bedrooms and 5.5 baths, it has a ballroom and a library. One floor holds an observatory, and there are views of the Empire State building.

In 2020, Bezos dropped an additional $16 million for a fourth apartment in the building.

Washington, DC, digs

The owner of the Washington Post also keeps a mansion in the nation’s capital. He picked up the enormous residence in 2017 for a reported $19 million. The compound, a former museum, has two buildings, a chauffeur’s residence, and a garage. It totals nearly 27,000 square feet.

The posh property is located in the Kalorama neighborhood, where plenty of DC power players have called home , including Michelle and Barack Obama and Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump .

Washington compound

Bezos had a home in Medina, WA , since 1998, when he picked up one house, and then a second, with his ex-wife. He wound up with more than $60 million worth of real estate on the shores of Lake Washington. In 2010, the then-couple embarked on a reported $28 million renovation of the property.

Bezos has since relocated to Florida, so don’t expect to see Sanchez traipsing around Puget Sound anytime soon.

Texas ranch

Bezos’ West Texas ranch , which he purchased in 2004, accounts for the majority of his land holdings, reported to be somewhere around 400,000 acres.

The property is the site of Bezos’ space company, Blue Origin, and was the setting for a Vogue feature on Sanchez. The property apparently includes an underground, 10,000-year clock and an Astronaut Village.

Sanchez told the magazine that she’s planning to go to space aboard one of Blue Origin’s suborbital rocket flights.

The two also spend time on their yacht, Koru. It’s apparently where Bezos proposed to Sanchez and was the setting for an at-sea engagement party that included the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Bill Gates .

The 33-year-old American Horror Story actress recently gave Architectural Digest a tour of her house in Los Angeles and during the tour, Emma revealed the expensive gift she took back from an ex-boyfriend after they split up.

Keep reading to find out more… “This is a book I actually gave as a gift to my ex,” Emma said while holding up a copy of Charles Portis ‘ 1966 book Norwood .

“But then we broke up and I saw how much it was worth and I kept it,” Emma added with a laugh.

While Emma didn’t reveal how much she paid for Norwood , AbeBooks is selling the book for $3,360.

Also during the tour, Emma shared that her current boyfriend Cody John recently gifted her a Leggy Jill doll – a 1970s Hasbro doll known for her excessively long legs – for her to add to her vintage doll collection.

“I got her for my birthday,” Emma said. “I was looking for Leggy Jill for over a year, and then my boyfriend surprised me with her.”

Despite Cody insisting that she keep the doll in the box, Emma decided to take it out.

“I feel like if you’re gonna collect dolls, you might as well enjoy them,” she added.

In a recent interview, Emma revealed what it was like kissing co-star Kim Kardashian for a recent episode of AHS: Delicate .

The interiors are accentuated with different shades of wood, but his fondness for dark tones stays evident throughout the decor. This home is as multifaceted as it comes, from traditional silver vases to jewel-tone Persian carpets, from vintage pieces to Andy Warhol's works of art. And the high usage of colours and textures is executed fashionably.

Actor Aparshakti Khurana and his wife, events entrepreneur Aakriti Ahuja envisioned an elegant yet rustic house, generously awash with a diverse colour story of bright and pastel hues. The foyer opens up to a spacious living room that breathes a raw, earthy air into the house. With a soothing sepia colour palette coupled with shades of olive, this subtle space is a fusion of mid-century modern and rustic tones. The old-world charm is dialled up with timeless touches lent by experimentation in textures and the right mix of classic and contemporary to enhance its timelessness. The simple colour scheme, experimental pattern and texture play help elevate the overall design.

Armaan Malik

Armaan Malik's suburban apartment gives the vibe of his favourite cities, L.A. and London. It reflects his persona, which is calm, organised and comforting. The L.A. and London-inspired home has room for every mood with minimum furniture and warm colour tones. The irregularly shaped wooden dining table gives a unique touch to the space and is welcoming to people who come over. The white brick wall gives the essence of L.A. with minimalist wooden flooring and plenty of natural light. Every room and corner has a purpose behind it and is put together to mirror the various moods he experiences. The idea was to design a home with stillness and tranquillity at its core. 

Aahana Kumra

Aahana Kumra's Mumbai apartment, designed by Shireen Mahna, is a collection of all her favourite places, flawlessly translating her effervescent personality, wanderlust and appreciation for all things art. Breaking away from the luxury quotient of marble and tinted mirrors, the abode is adorned with statement pieces that render a chic and homely vibe. The sage and daisy walls in the hallway, topped by neutral hues and wooden ceilings, from which hang princess chandeliers, have an unexpected and fresh combined effect. A palette of soft lilacs, blush pinks, and pale greens create a sense of continuity as one moves from the front of the house to the rear. The minimal home has not one but two fluid aesthetics with its pastel palette and curved compositions.

Ishaan Khatter 

Ishaan Khatter's Mumbai home is a pleasing amalgamation of an artist's abode and a natural colour palette. A straightforward material palette is seen throughout the residence. One that's rich with pops of colour complement the abundantly used rattan and wood. This minimal design, combined with natural material and colour palettes, creates a peaceful cocoon. The windows take advantage of the natural light that streams into the house to maximise its effect. The home also includes custom-made and carefully curated objects, artworks, and old Bollywood posters that reflect the actor's personality. All the elements tie the space together into one seamless and harmonious abode.
