DOKKEN Announces U.S. Tour Dates Featuring GEORGE LYNCH

DOKKEN has announced a number of live appearances this year which will include what is being billed as a "special encore performance" featuring Don Dokken and George Lynch .

So far, the following dates have been confirmed:

DOKKEN 's classic lineup — Dokken , Lynch , bassist Jeff Pilson and drummer "Wild" Mick Brown — reunited for a short Japanese tour in the fall of 2016. The trek marked the first time in 21 years the four musicians had hit the road together.

A DOKKEN concert DVD focusing on the band's reunion tour, "Return To The East Live (2016)" , was made available in 2018.

Since completing the Japanese reunion dates, DOKKEN has continued to perform with the group's current lineup — including bassist Chris McCarvill and guitarist Jon Levin .

DOKKEN is currently working on material on a new studio album, tentatively due later in the year via Silver Lining Music , the label owned by Thomas Jensen , one of the founders of Germany's Wacken Open Air festival. It will mark the group's first disc since 2012's "Broken Bones" .

Over the past three years, Lynch — one-fourth of the classic DOKKEN lineup — has appeared on recordings by THE END MACHINE , KXM , ULTRAPHONIX and SWEET & LYNCH .

George Lynch (born September 28, 1954) is an American guitarist and songwriter. He is best known for his work with heavy metal band Dokken and his post-Dokken solo band Lynch Mob. Lynch is considered to be one of the most famous and influential 1980s metal guitarists and is known for his unique playing style and sound. He is ranked No. 47 on "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" by Guitar World magazine and No. 10 on "Top 10 Metal Guitarists of All Time" by Gibson.

George Lynch Announces Lynch Mob U.S. Tour Dates

George Lynch, the lead guitarist for Dokken and leader of Lynch Mob and Souls of We, has announced a U.S. summer tour with the re-formed Lynch Mob.

The tour begins July 29 in Houston, Texas, and ends in late August on the West Coast. More dates will be announced soon.

Lynch's next solo album, Kill All Control, comes out July 19 via Rocket Science Inc. The album, Lynch's 11th, began as a follow-up to the Souls of We debut, Let The Truth Be Known. However, Lynch quickly realized the project was taking on a new direction with the addition of Powerman 5000 drummer Adrian Ost.

In collaboration with Souls of We singer London LeGrand (Brides of Destruction), Lynch said: “The creative juices just flowed and we wrote most of the CD in 10 days.”
