Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: All the U.S. and international dates and opening acts

eras tour dates.m

Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.

By that point, she'd already broken the all-time record for most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day and passed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour as the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist.

And Swift rose to the occasion , leading her band through a marathon 44-song set that lasted more than three hours while delivering on her promise of "a journey through all of my musical eras."

So what does she do for an encore? Here's where the Eras Tour is headed next, adding two surprise songs to the set at each show. Here's a look at what she's played so far .

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicks off its international leg in August — here's how to buy tickets

Taylor Swift is back on the road for the first time since 2018. The pop star's new concert, called the Eras Tour , kicked off in the US on March 17, 2023, and the show is expanding to international markets on August 24.

Demand for tickets was incredibly high during the show's initial presale period, leading to major technical difficulties with Ticketmaster's online systems. The whole ordeal left many fans unhappy and forced some to pay hefty prices on the resale market in order to snag seats.

Tickets for the tour's remaining US dates are only available through resale sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . However, official registration periods are now open for several international dates in Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. If you're hoping to snag tickets for these upcoming shows, we've got you covered with full details on tour dates and registration deadlines.

We've just had a look at StubHub and Vivid Seats and while we'd certainly not call any options 'cheap' we have noticed some of the prices for imminent Inglewood dates at the SoFi Stadium start to drop from some resellers. This will be because the tickets are worthless if nobody buys them by the concert's date so some resellers will begin to lose their nerve and settle for a lower amount.

Taylor Swift US Eras Tour dates

Here's a full rundown of all the remaining US concert dates as of August 4.

Taylor Swift international Eras Tour dates

Important information for buying tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan:

Our goal is to maximize the number of fans who have an opportunity to shop.

The link in your text will direct you to the show you were selected for — either a show that was available during registration or a show that was announced after registration closed.

If you were selected for a show available during registration, your code will enable you to shop  that  show  or any show in the same city  that was announced after registration closed. (You will not be able to shop a different show that was available during registration).

If you were selected for a show announced after registration closed — i.e., the link in your text directs you to one of those shows — your code is good for that show. We recommend you use the code for that show as it will have the greatest availability for you. If you choose, you can use your code instead for the show you prioritized first during registration; however, we expect demand for that show to be higher and your wait to be longer.

Remember, each code only allows you to purchase 6 tickets.

Taylor Swift is officially hitting the road again.

Swift added, "The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!"

Swift also said she is "thrilled" over the fan response following her album drop the previous week.

By Kara K. Nesvig

Taylor Swift The Eras Tour poster

Start planning your ticket strategy now, because Taylor Swift is officially going on tour in 2023.

As many fans suspected, Taylor is embarking on tour in support of the many albums she's released since 2017's Reputation and its tour in 2018, including Lover , evermore , folklore , Midnights and all the Taylor's Version re-records . Because that's a lot to pack into one tour, Taylor has cleverly titled her latest trip around the United States the "Eras Tour," and in her own words, it's been "a long time coming." (And if you're overseas, don't worry — she'll be heading your way too!)

Taylor shared the big news on Instagram with a pic of the tour poster, which features images from Fearless, Lover , and Red, among several others. "I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!)" she wrote. "The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!" Taylor Swift always keeps her promises. Just a couple weeks after unveiling a list of Latin American dates for her bestselling Eras Tour and pledging to schedule even more across the globe, the 33-year-old pop star has now announced a slew of international shows for the trek in 2024.

Here Are the Artists Opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers…

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY,” Swift wrote on Instagram Tuesday (June 20). “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

Swift first confirmed that the Eras Tour would be going global earlier this month, when the “Anti-Hero” singer announced a Latin American leg of shows in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina also featuring support from Carpenter, whom Swift called a “sweet angel princess.” “Really thrilled to tell you this!!” the pop star wrote in a post to her social media accounts at the time. “Mexico, Argentina and Brazil: We are bringing The Eras Tour to you this year!” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

“LOTS more international dates to come soon, promise!” she added.

Ten days later, Swift added three additional shows to the Latin America leg, which kicks off in early August and picks up in November.

In addition to the new shows, Swifties also have a new album to look forward to in the coming weeks. As announced in May, Swift’s third studio album, Speak Now, will receive the “Taylor’s Version” treatment. Re-recordings of the set’s original tracks drop July 7, as do previously unreleased “Vault” tracks featuring Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy.

How Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Conquered the World

The pop star’s record-breaking, career-spanning show has dominated the summer, commanding attention and whipping up demand at a level thought unachievable in a fragmented age.

  • Share full article Share free access

Taylor Swift, wearing a sparkly costume and knee-high boots and singing into a microphone, in front of a purple and pink fabric backdrop on the stage.

By Ben Sisario

Reporting from Kansas City, Mo., and New York

As Taylor Swift rolled into Los Angeles this week, the frenzy surrounding her record-breaking Eras Tour was already in high gear.

Headlines gushed that she had given $100,000 bonuses to her crew. Politicians asked her to postpone her concerts in solidarity with striking hotel workers. Scalped tickets were going for $3,000 and up. And there were way, way too many friendship bracelets to count.

These days, the center of an otherwise splintered music world can only be Taylor Swift.

The pop superstar’s tour, which is now finishing its initial North American leg with six nights at SoFi Stadium outside Los Angeles, has been both a business and a cultural juggernaut. Swift’s catalog of generation-defining hits and canny marketing sense have helped her achieve a level of white-hot demand and media saturation not seen since the 1980s heyday of Michael Jackson and Madonna — a dominance that the entertainment business had largely accepted as impossible to replicate in the fragmented 21st century.

“The only thing I can compare it to is the phenomenon of Beatlemania,” said Billy Joel, who attended Swift’s show in Tampa, Fla., with his wife and young daughters.

In a summer of tours by stars like Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, Morgan Wallen and Drake, Swift’s stands apart, in numbers and in media noise. Although Swift, 33, and her promoters do not publicly report box-office figures, the trade publication Pollstar estimated that she has been selling about $14 million in tickets each night. By the end of the full world tour, which is booked with 146 stadium dates well into 2024, Swift’s sales could reach $1.4 billion or more — exceeding Elton John’s $939 million for his multiyear farewell tour, the current record-holder.

Swift has now had more No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 over the course of her career than any other woman, surpassing Barbra Streisand. With the tour lifting Swift’s entire body of work, she has placed 10 albums on that chart this year and is the first living artist since the trumpeter and bandleader Herb Alpert in 1966 to have four titles in the Top 10 at the same time.

“It’s a pretty amazing feat,” Alpert, 88, said in a phone interview. “With the way radio is these days, and the way music is distributed, with streaming, I didn’t think anyone in this era could do it.”

But how did a concert tour become so much more: fodder for gossip columns, the subject of weather reports , a boon for friendship-bracelet beads — the unofficial currency of Swiftie fandom — and the reason nobody could get a hotel room in Cincinnati at the end of June?

“She is the best C.E.O., and best chief marketing officer, in the history of music,” said Nathan Hubbard, a longtime music and ticketing executive who co-hosts a Swift podcast . “She is following people like Bono, Jay-Z and Madonna, who were acutely aware of their brands. But of all of them, Taylor is the first one to be natively online.”

Swifties have chronicled the stream of celebrity fans who have turned up each night: Julia Roberts, the New York Jets’ new quarterback Aaron Rodgers, even Flavor Flav of Public Enemy. But Swift has also made each show a news event by adding two “surprise songs,” often with headline-grabbing guests. On the July day that she put out a music video featuring Taylor Lautner, an ex-boyfriend, the actor backflipped across the stage in Kansas City, Mo., and paid Swift effusive tribute — “not just for the singer you are,” Lautner said, “but for the human you are.” The crowd registered its approval with an earsplitting roar.

The Taylorpalooza extends to every level of the news media, which began the coverage cycle by chronicling Swift’s ticketing fiasco last November, when fans — and scalpers’ bots — crushed Ticketmaster’s systems, leading to a heated Senate Judiciary hearing . Since then, seemingly no nugget of Swift news has escaped coverage, from the stars in the stands to oddities like a Seattle concert that, according to one researcher, shook the ground with an intensity equivalent to a 2.3-magnitude earthquake .

Music critics have portrayed the Eras Tour as showing Swift at the top of her game as a media-savvy, big-tent talent, a pop star with a knack for grand spectacle as well as the polished artistry of a classic songwriter.

Shania Twain, the country-pop star whose career in some ways prefigured Swift’s, caught the Las Vegas stop of the Eras Tour, a 44-plus song production that goes as long as three and a half hours. She praised Swift’s “beautiful balance” of high-tech stagecraft and intimate performance segments. “I have to applaud her,” Twain said in a telephone interview. “As a performer, I know that work that goes into it.”

The power of Swift’s fan army — and fear of crossing the star, or even appearing to — has kept nearly all of the press about the tour sunny. Though some fans (and parents) balked at the ticket prices and challenges of securing seats, most frustration was directed squarely at Ticketmaster, not Swift. After a few weeks of headlines romantically linking Swift with a frontman some fans considered to be problematic, reports spread in the celebrity pages that they had split. (Swift’s representatives declined to comment for this article.)

For fans, the shows are a pilgrimage, and a rediscovery of the joys of mass gatherings. Flights are packed with Swifties, and travelers trade stories and compare outfits — drawn from looks associated with Swift “eras” — in stadium corridors and parking lots. In Kansas City, the comedian Nikki Glaser was attending her eighth show, a commitment that she estimated has cost her $25,000.

“This year I decided not to freeze my eggs,” Glaser said. “I’m going to put that money toward the thing I love most in the world, which is Taylor Swift.”

Before Eras, Swift hadn’t been on tour since 2018. And her catalog has grown by seven No. 1 albums since then, fueled in part by three rerecorded “Taylor’s Versions” of her first LPs — a project hailed by Swift’s fans as a crusade to regain control of her music, though it is also an act of revenge after the sale of Swift’s former record label, a move that, she said , “stripped me of my life’s work.”

“Folklore” and “Evermore” expanded her palate into fantastical indie-folk and brought new collaborators into the fold: Aaron Dessner from the band the National and Justin Vernon, a.k.a. Bon Iver, rock-world figures who helped attract new listeners.

The other major tour this year that is enticing fans to book transcontinental flights, and to show up costumed and in rapture, is also by a woman: Beyoncé, 41, whose Renaissance tour is a fantasia of disco and retrofuturism. Like Swift, she is also a trailblazing artist-entrepreneur, maintaining tight control over her career and fostering a rich connection with fans online. Together with Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” a critique of the patriarchy told in hot pink, they are signs of powerful women ruling the discourse of pop culture.

But in music, at least, the scale and success of Swift’s tour is without equal. Later this month, after completing 53 shows in the United States, she will kick off an international itinerary of at least 78 more before returning to North America next fall. Beyoncé’s full tour has 56 dates; Springsteen’s, 90. (Recently, Harry Styles wrapped a 173-date tour in arenas and stadiums, grossing about $590 million.)

Outside Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, fans posed for selfies and shared their ticketing ordeals. Esmeralda Tinoco and Sami Cytron, 24-year-old former sorority sisters, said they had paid $645 for two seats. A stone’s throw away, Karlee Patrick and Emily DeGruson, both 18 and dressed as a pair in angel/devil costumes after a line in Swift’s “Cruel Summer,” sat “Taylorgating” at the edge of the parking lot; they said they had paid $100 for parking but couldn’t afford tickets.

As Swift’s opening acts finished, the crowd rushed in. Glaser, the comedian, later said that of the eight shows she had been to, her favorites were the ones where she had brought her mother — and converted her to Swiftie fandom.

“Everyone is in love with her,” Glaser said her mom told her after one show in Texas. “Now I get it.”

Did you know

  • Trivia Taylor Swift had the idea for a concert movie in 2022, but none of the major film distributors (Warner Bros, Disney, Sony Universal, Paramount, etc) showed any interest. However, feedback from her worldwide fan base on social media indicated a lot of interest from fans who had never seen her live. In a calculated gamble, Swift decided to distribute the film through her own company at her own expense. The gamble paid off relatively quickly as the film was a massive box office success worldwide.
  • Goofs Taylor's hair position changes between shots throughout the whole film. Over shoulder in one shot, behind shoulder in the next jump-cut shot, for example. But like any concert film cut together from multiple performances, this is inevitable.
  • Crazy credits Credits feature video clips of fans from before the shows & outtakes of things that went wrong on stage throughout the tour, all set to "Long Live (Taylor's Version)".
  • Alternate versions The Extended Version includes three songs from the tour not shown in theaters: "Long Live", "The Archer", and "Wildest Dreams."
  • Connections Featured in The Project: Episode dated 13 October 2023 (2023)
  • Soundtracks Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince Written by Taylor Swift & Joel Little Performed by Taylor Swift (c) 2019 Taylor Swift Music (BMI) administered by Songs of Universal, Inc., EMI Blackwood Music Inc. (BMI) All Rights Reserved. Used by Permission.

“ Taylor Swift : The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” is coming exclusively to Disney+ — and the concert film will include five songs that were not available in the theatrical or digital versions.

Disney+ in a post on X said the “ Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” will feature “Cardigan” and four additional acoustic songs… but that didn’t reveal what the songs are either.

So what are those four new songs from Eras that will be on Disney+? Based on Variety ’s analysis of Swift’s three shows at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium that were shot for the concert film but not included in the original cut, those are likely the four acoustic “surprise songs” she performed: “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” “Maroon,” “You Are in Love” and “I Can See You.” (“No Body, No Crime” featuring Haim also has not been in either the theatrical or digital release of the film, but that wasn’t an acoustic version.)

“This week is truly the best kind of chaos,” Swift posted on Instagram. “I’m thrilled to let you know I’ve found a streaming home for The Eras Tour Concert Film, and that home will be @disneyplus. For the first time we’ll be showing the entire concert (including ‘cardigan,’ plus 4 additional songs from the acoustic section!!) and I’m calling it, huge shock, ‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version).’ Available starting March 15 which is actually very 🔜😆🫶”

News of the Disney+ deal for the film comes after Swift made Grammys history Sunday when “Midnights” won album of the year — her  record-setting fourth win in the category . She also  announced her next studio album , “The Tortured Poets Department.”

The digital release of “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was released on Dec. 13 , Swift’s birthday. That version, distributed by Universal Pictures, included three bonus songs that were not seen in theaters: “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live.” That pushed its official total runtime to 3 hours and 1 minute.

“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was produced by Swift and directed by Sam Wrench. The original film included 44 songs . Swift’s production company, Taylor Swift Productions, produced the film in collaboration with Silent House Productions.

In 2023, Swift’s Eras Tour — spanning music from her 17-year career — pulled in an estimated $1 billion in gross ticket sales. As the tour continues through 2024, it’s expected to exceed $2 billion in total sales , per projections by live-music trade publication Pollstar.

Disney+ currently is streaming Swift’s documentary performance film “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions,” which was first released in 2020. Meanwhile, she is set to make her directorial feature-film debut in a deal with Disney’s Searchlight Pictures based on an original script penned by Swift.

Since 2018, when Taylor embarked on her last world tour, she's released four brand new albums and four re-recorded albums. Due to the pandemic, Lover , folklore , evermore and Midnights have yet to be toured, which means Taylor has over 200 songs to choose from for The Eras Tour setlist. Narrowing all of that down into a 3-hour show? Sounds impossible , right?

The average Taylor Swift concert is around 2 hours long but The Eras Tour is a whole different beast... The opening show in Glendale was a whopping 3 hours and 15 minutes long, and Taylor performed a huge 44 tracks within that timeframe.

Not all the tracks are performed in full, though – some are shortened versions. There's also a couple of additional little interludes that pop up throughout the show.

For context, on the Rep tour, Taylor performed 19 tracks in total, including several mashups that featured some of her older songs. For The 1989 World Tour, she performed 18 songs, while 17 songs were performed on The Red Tour and the Speak Now World Tour.

Taylor has 'reset' the surprise song list, which means anyone attending a show in 2024 can anticipate hearing a song she's already performed. She previously stated that she will only play each surprise song once during the tour, unless she messes one up.

There's also no rules for Taylor repeating songs from Midnights as surprise songs, which means fans may get to hear the likes of 'You're On Your Own Kid' and 'Snow on the Beach' again at some point in the future.

We'll update this article with every Surprise Acoustic Song – and every surprise song that she will play again – after every show.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist to include The Tortured Poets Department?

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist for the international shows?

With the first international date of the Eras Tour now in the bag, we now know that the setlist will remain the exact same for the rest of the tour. The original setlist will remain in tact throughout the remaining shows.

That said, fans attending the European shows might end up hearing Taylor perform 'Castles Crumbling' with Hayley Williams as an additional song during the Speak Now section, as Paramore will be supporting her throughout those tour dates. (Both Phoebe Bridgers and HAIM joined Taylor on stage to perform 'Nothing New' and 'No Body, No Crime' respectively on the nights they were support acts.)

After completing her shows in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, Taylor is now set to pick the tour back up in Japan in February 2024 and run through to mid-August before returning to North America in November 2024.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist to include The Tortured Poets Department ?

Taylor's brand new album will be released on April 19th, just before she embarks on the European leg of the Eras Tour.

We won't know for sure whether or not the official setlist will change to accommodate those songs until she kicks off the Eras Tour in Paris on May 9th.

While it's unlikely to affect the actual setlist, it's possible that Taylor will perform some of those new songs as surprise songs. We'll update this article as soon as we know more!

What are Taylor's most performed songs on tour?

Before she embarked on The Eras Tour, Taylor’s top 3 most performed songs are ‘Love Story’ (491 times), ‘Our Song’ (404 times) and ‘You Belong With Me’ (381 times).

Of course, almost all of Taylor’s most performed songs are from her first two albums. As the list goes on, the Speak Now bops, Red bangers and 1989 hits start to weave their way in.

If you’re wondering what Taylor’s most played songs from her first five albums are, here’s a break down:

  • Taylor Swift : ‘Our Song’, ‘Tim McGraw’ and ‘Picture To Burn’
  • Fearless: ‘Love Story’, ‘You Belong With Me’ and ‘Fifteen’
  • Speak Now : ‘Sparks Fly’, ‘Mean’ and ‘Mine’
  • Red : ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and ‘Red’
  • 1989 : ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Out of the Woods’

Taylor has only had the chance to perform songs from Reputation on the Reputation Stadium Tour so far, but ‘Ready For It?’, ‘Delicate’ and ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ take the top spots when it comes to live performances of the Rep tracks.

Due to the cancellation of Lover Fest, Taylor hasn’t been able to perform Lover on a tour setting. Folklore, Evermore and Midnights will also be making their tour debut on the Eras Tour.

2024 Super Bowl: Taylor Swift props, news, Eras schedule, Chiefs vs. 49ers predictions, plus Travis Kelce odds

Top taylor swift 2024 super bowl props and eras tour schedule for san francisco 49ers vs. kansas city chiefs in super bowl 58.

kelce-and-swift.jpg

Super Bowl 58 promises to have an eclectic viewing audience since there is a possibility that Taylor Swift will be in attendance. The global pop sensation has made many appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games this season to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, which has prompted many of her fans to tune in to Sunday football to get a glimpse of her. The couple snagged the spotlight with an on-field smooch after the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 17-10, in the AFC Championship Game. Now, Kelce preps for his team to play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 on Sunday.

Super Bowl prop bets are popular and there are plenty of Travis Kelce props that can be placed before the big game. This time around, there are also unique Taylor Swift prop bets that fans can place as well. Before making any NFL picks or prop bets for Super Bowl 58, you need to see the Chiefs vs. 49ers NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model .

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model entered the conference championship round of the 2024 NFL playoffs on an incredible 184-129 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. It was also on a 38-21 roll on top-rated picks since Week 7 of last season and nailed seven straight top-rated picks entering the 2024 NFL playoffs.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

With 49ers vs. Chiefs in the 2024 Super Bowl approaching, the model has released its picks and top prop bets for Travis Kelce and every other player. You can only see them here . You can also get Super Bowl picks from a 49ers expert and  exact score predictions from Vegas experts . Latest Taylor Swift Super Bowl news, props

It still isn't crystal clear whether Swift will be in attendance at Super Bowl 58 since her international tour will be stopping in Tokyo the night before. The singer's Eras Tour has been on break since mid-November, so it has seemingly been easier for her to attend Chiefs games late in the regular season. However, Swift has also made the international commute more than once to get from one of her shows to one of Kelce's games.

Since Tokyo is roughly 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, there is widespread belief that Swift will make it to Super Bowl 58 on time. There is no denying her fans will be keeping an eye on whether she will be able to cheer for Kelce in person against the 49ers.  Check out 2024 Super Bowl odds, DFS picks, player props, and more .

Super Bowl props for Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce

Sportsbooks will jump at the opportunity to offer prop bets related directly to Swift, even though they might not be widely available at select United States betting sites. The Taylor Swift Super Bowl props will be largely related to how often she appears on screen, such as her odds to be shown during the National Anthem or her over/under for appearances during the entire game. There could also be a prop related to how many times Swift's name is mentioned during the broadcast, post-game ceremony, whether she'll join Usher on-stage at halftime, or what color outfit she chooses to wear.

One book lists odds of +2200 that Swift and Kelce will announce they're expecting a baby on Super Bowl Sunday. The same book is giving +25000 odds that the 49ers win the first half, Swift sings "Shake it Off" with Usher at halftime, and the Chiefs win the Super Bowl. Another book says she's favored to be shown first during the National Anthem (-135) over Jason Kelce (+120) or a tie (+350). Whether she'll be seen at all during the National Anthem is -110 for yes and -130 for no.

Kelce has a variety of prop odds offered at every major sportsbook in the world, and here are some of his latest odds:

  • Travis Kelce receiving yards over/under: 69.5
  • Travis Kelce receptions over/under: 7.5
  • Travis Kelce first TD scorer odds: +600
  • Travis Kelce anytime TD scorer odds: -120
  • Travis Kelce Super Bowl MVP odds: 20-1

How to make Super Bowl bets for 49ers vs. Chiefs

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film is headed to Disney+

T he Eras Tour concert film will be available for streaming next month on Disney+, Taylor Swift said in an Instagram post Wednesday.

“This week is truly the best kind of chaos,” Swift wrote . “I’m thrilled to let you know I’ve found a streaming home for The Eras Tour Concert Film … Available starting March 15 which is actually very 🔜😆🫶”

Once on the platform, the film will include all songs from the three Los Angeles tour dates during which it was filmed at SoFi Stadium. That means viewers will get to watch Swift perform “cardigan” as well as four additional acoustic surprise songs from the tour, including: “I Can See You,” “Maroon,” “You Are in Love” and “Death by a Thousand Cuts.”

Two months after its record-breaking Oct. 13 release in theaters, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was made available to rent for 48 hours at $19.89. The rental version included “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live,” three songs left out of the original in-theater experience.

The price, an homage to Swift’s birth year and her fifth studio album “1989,” drew criticism from many who believed it unreasonably high for a two-day window to watch — and fans quickly labeled the film as one of the highest pirated movies of all time.

A spokesperson for Swift did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In a statement , Disney CEO Bob Iger said " The Eras Tour  has been a true phenomenon that has and continues to thrill fans around the world, and we are very excited to bring this electrifying concert to audiences wherever they are, exclusively through Disney+.”

The streaming announcement comes just three days after Swift surprised fans with news of a new album while accepting a Grammy award.

“The Tortured Poets Department" will drop April 19, she said. Meanwhile, Swift is in Tokyo for the next leg of the Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour estimated to boost Japanese economy by $228 million

eras tour dates.m

TOKYO — Cheaper tickets may be bringing world travelers to the Tokyo Dome to watch the Eras Tour, but it's also bringing a surplus of funds for Japan.

According to a report by Economic Impact.NET , Taylor Swift's massive concert will pump $228 million (¥34.1 billion) into the country with $162.7 million (¥24.3 billion) going directly to Tokyo.

"The ripple effect will be even greater," said Mitsumasa Etou, the report's author and a part-time lecturer at Tokyo City University, "if consumers from all over Japan, who come to the Tokyo Dome to see Taylor Swift, engage in sightseeing activities in addition to lodging and transportation expenses."

Swift has brought three world tours to the Tokyo Dome. She opened the 1989 World Tour there on May 5, 2015, and concluded her Reputation Stadium Tour on November 21, 2018.

“It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten to see you,” Swift said on Thursday inside the Tokyo Dome. “It’s been over four years, and I’m so happy to be back with you here tonight at the Eras Tour. Thank you to anyone who traveled."

The arena sold 220,000 seats (55,000 each night) for four nights of the Eras Tour. Standard tickets ranged from $59 to $201 (¥8,800-¥30,000) and VIP packages were priced $354 to $823 (¥52,800-¥122,800), according to the Japanese Eras Tour website .

It's been four years and counting

Zachary Travis, 31, bought a $1,300 ticket on StubHub.com to see the show. He booked a flight from Phoenix, but when he arrived in Japan on Wednesday morning, he got a call from the ticket resale site.

"The seller on StubHub had not sent the ticket," he said, "either they wanted to hold onto it or they didn't have it. I was devastated, but I don't accept defeat."

Travis met a woman in his hotel who told him to go directly to the Eras Tour website, because sometimes it refreshes with new tickets.

"Thankfully they released more," he said, "and I was able to get floor tickets for every single one of the four shows. I ended up spending less money on all four nights than I did on that one ticket from StubHub."

The price tag: $804 (¥120,000).

"I actually ended up spending more on merchandise so thank God I brought a duffle so I can take everything home," he said, smiling.

Swift has four tour stops in the Asia-Pacific including Tokyo (four shows); Melbourne, Australia (three shows); Sydney, Australia (four shows) and Singapore (six shows). Fans from the region traveled to Japan’s capital. Three thousand fans came from China.

“I got here two days ago,” said Maxine Tan, who flew with her mom from Manilla, Philippines. “It was totally worth it.”

Tan said the price tag was not an issue because of the impact the singer has made on her life. Outside the stadium doors, Tan was excited to show off her glittery green jacket, a replica of Swift’s 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour coat, that her friend made.

“(Swift) is my childhood and adulthood hero,” Tan said. “I hope I get to meet her one day. I want to thank her for changing my life.”
