Tata Safari July 2024 discount: Avail offers up to Rs 1.85 lakh for July 2024

Tata Motors has announced a discount of up to Rs 1.85 lakh on its most premium SUV offered in India. Along with the Tata Safari, we get a discount on the Tata Harrier too. Recently the manufacturer has announced that its SUV line-up has received a 2 million sales milestone. Under its “King of SUVs” campaign, the company has reduced the prices of its flagship SUVs. The discounts are offered to Indian customers and can be availed till 31 st July 2024.

We have mentioned below about the variants of the Tata Safari and Tata Harrier that get discounts.

In order to celebrate the milestone of 2 million sales, the company has dropped the prices of Tata Harrier as well as Safari by Rs 1.85 lakh. The offer is available till the end of July 2024. This makes the on-road prices of the Tata Safari as well as Tata Harrier at Rs 17.10 lakh and Rs 18.28 lakh respectively (both prices on-road Mumbai).

Harrier/ Safari benefit July 2024

When it comes to Tata Harrier, the Pure+, Adventure + and Adventure+ ADAS variants get a maximum benefit of Rs 1.42 lakhs. The buyers can get Rs 82,600 off on Pure, Pure (O) as well as Pure + variants. The base as well as the top variants can get a discount of up to Rs 59,500.

The Tata Safari, on the other hand, gets a maximum benefit of Rs 1.85 lakh. The Pure + (S) variant gets the above-mentioned discount. The least discount is offered on Accomplished and Accomplished + variants. These variants get the least discount of Rs 59,500.

The reason behind offering all these discounts on its top-notch SUVs is quite simple. Tata Motors wants the sales of Harrier and Safari to increase so that it can increase its grip in the segment.

Latest Update : Tata had showcased the red dark edition of the Safari at Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. We expect the Indian car maker to launch the Safari as well as Harrier red dark edition in the coming months. Presently you can buy the dark edition of both the SUVs.

Key Highlights

Exterior & Design

Safari is currently the flagship model of Tata Motors. With the recent facelift, Tata has made the Safari even more distinguishable from Harrier. In the front, compared to the Harrier, the Safari comes with a thicker headlamp assembly with Safari badging embedded between the headlamp and fog lamp, a silver skid plate and a blacked out lower air dam.

In the rear, the connected full width taillamps of the Safari are a bit different from the Harrier. The rear too gets a silver skid plate. From the side profile, the Safari comes with 19 inch alloys in the top end trim and embedded Safari badging on the chrome part of the roof rail.

Interior & Features

Inside the cabin, the Safari gets all the features that the Harrier offers. Some of those are dual zone auto AC, front ventilated seats, power adjust driver seat, 10.25 inch fully digital drivers display, 12.29 inch touchscreen infotainment, multi colour ambient lighting, wireless charger, wireless android auto/apple car play, 10 speaker JBL audio system, electric parking brake with auto hold, Alexa support, 360 degree camera, powered tailgate with gesture operation, panoramic sunroof, rear window sunshades, etc.

In addition to the above mentioned features which are common between the Safari and Harrier, the Safari also offers ventilated rear captain seats, power adjust co driver seat, boss mode for co driver seat, ambient lighting on sunroof, 3 row seating, etc.

On the safety front, it offers active safety tech like level 2 ADAS with 1 camera + 3 radar configuration. It also, comes equipped with advanced ESP, traction control, hill hold, hill descent control, TPMS, all wheel disc brakes, roll over mitigation, brake disc wiping, etc. For passive safety, it offers up to 7 airbags and ISOFIX mounts.

Engine & Transmission

Tata Safari is only available in a single engine option i.e. a 2 litre Kryotec turbo diesel engine. It can be paired to either a 6 speed manual gearbox or a 6 speed torque converter automatic. The fiat sourced engine generates 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque.

Tata Safari is available in 7 different colours including a black/dark edition. Also, Tata offers 15 different variants of the Safari.

Tata Motors  is offering attractive benefits and discounts this month on the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Harrier and Safari, applicable on both MY2023 and MY2024 models. Customers can avail of cash discounts, corporate benefits and exchange bonuses. Let’s take a closer look.

Tata Safari

Discounts of up to Rs 1.33 lakh

Unsold MY2023 stocks of the pre-facelift  Safari  are available with benefits of up to Rs 1.33 lakh this month. These include a cash discount of Rs 75,000, up to Rs 50,000 exchange or scrappage bonus and up to Rs 8,000 as corporate benefits. Meanwhile, the facelifted MY2023 models get up to Rs 88,000 off, which is inclusive of Rs 50,000 cash discount, an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and a corporate bonus of Rs 8,000. Lastly, MY2024 models of the Safari only get an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 8,000.

The Safari combines solid underpinnings with great road presence and the practicality of seven seats. It rivals the Hyundai Alcazar ,  MG Hector Plus  and  Mahindra XUV700 .

Tata Harrier

The  Harrier , too, receives benefits of up Rs 1.33 lakh on unsold MY2023 pre-facelift stocks, while the facelifted MY2023 models get up to Rs 88,000 off. The benefits are similar to the Tata Safari for both pre-facelift and facelifted models. Meanwhile, MY2024 versions of the Harrier get benefits of up to Rs 38,000, including an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 8,000.

Like the Safari, the Harrier scores high on road presence and interior space, and is well-built with a fantastic ride and handling balance. It rivals the 5-seater  Mahindra XUV700 ,  MG Hector  and  Jeep Compass .

Discounts of up to Rs 90,000

The  Tiago  petrol gets benefits of up to Rs 90,000 on MY23 models, which include Rs 65,000 cash discount, up to Rs 20,000 exchange or scrappage bonus and a Rs 5,000 corporate benefit. Meanwhile, the MY2024 units have a considerably lower cash discount of Rs 35,000. The CNG variants of the Tiago also receive benefits of up to Rs 85,000 and Rs 50,000 for MY2023 and MY2024 models, respectively.

The Tiago impresses with its well-specced cabin and attractive price, but is let down by its engine. It rivals the  Maruti Suzuki Swift  and  Hyundai Grand i10 Nios .

Discounts of up to Rs 85,000

MY2023 units of the  Tigor  are available with benefits of up to Rs 85,000 for both petrol and CNG variants, which includes a cash discount of up to Rs 60,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 5,000. Meanwhile, MY2024 models have a much lower cash discount of Rs 30,000 and Rs 25,000 for petrol and CNG, respectively. Adding exchange bonus and corporate benefits, total discounts available on MY24 models include up to Rs 55,000 for petrol and up to Rs 50,000 for CNG.

The Tigor is based on the Tiago, and shares its underpinnings and powertrain with the hatchback. It is a friendly city commuter that’s good value for money and rivals the  Honda Amaze ,  Maruti Suzuki Dzire  and the  Hyundai Aura .

The  Nexon  petrol is available with benefits of up to Rs 90,000, which is inclusive of a cash discount of Rs 55,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000. The diesel variants, meanwhile, get up to Rs 40,000 in cash discount and Rs 35,000 as exchange benefits. These offers are, however, applicable only on the pre-facelift MY2023 units.

The Nexon features premium interiors, and provides comfortable ride and handling on the highway. It rivals the Maruti Vitara Brezza ,  Kia Sonet   and the  Hyundai Venue . 

Tata Altroz

Discounts of up to Rs 70,000

The  Altroz  is available with discounts of up to Rs 70,000 for MY2023 units of its petrol and diesel variants, which includes Rs 45,000 cash discount, Rs 20,000 exchange bonus and Rs 5,000 corporate benefits. MY2024 units, meanwhile, only get up to Rs 25,000 cash discount on both petrol and diesel variants. The MY2024 facelift and MY23 facelift models of the Tata Safari offer similar discount amounts, including exchange bonuses and corporate bonuses of Rs 30,000 and Rs 8,000 respectively. However, the MY23 model provides additional benefits with a cash discount of Rs 50,000. Similar discount patterns apply to the Tata Harrier as well.

For those seeking greater benefits, the MY23 pre-facelift Safari or Harrier models offer the most advantages. They include a substantial cash discount of Rs 75,000, an exchange or scrappage bonus of up to Rs 50,000, and a corporate bonus of Rs 8,000. This makes them a more lucrative option for potential buyers looking to maximize their savings.

Tata Nexon: July Discount Details

For customers interested in the Tata Nexon , discounts are currently offered only on the pre-facelift 2023 model year. The petrol variant comes with a cash discount of Rs 55,000, while the diesel variant offers up to Rs 45,000 off. Additionally, there's an exchange bonus available of Rs 35,000. This means that those considering the newer models may not find discounts applicable, as they are specifically for the earlier version of the car.

Tata Tiago: July Discount Details

Similar to the Tata Nexon, the Tiago is also available with discounts, especially on its MY23 petrol models, totalling up to Rs 90,000. For these models, there's a significant cash discount of Rs 65,000, along with additional benefits like an exchange or scrappage bonus of up to Rs 20,000, and a corporate benefit of Rs 5,000. The CNG variants of MY23 also receive benefits amounting to Rs 85,000.

Looking at the MY24 models, the petrol variant comes with a cash discount of Rs 35,000, while the CNG variant offers benefits up to Rs 50,000. These discounts and benefits aim to make both the MY23 and MY24 Tiago models more accessible to potential buyers.

Tata Tigor: July Discount Details

For the Tata Tigor , the MY24 petrol models come with a cash discount of Rs 30,000, along with an exchange bonus and corporate benefits that together total up to Rs 55,000. The CNG variant offers a cash discount of Rs 25,000, with additional exchange and corporate benefits adding up to Rs 50,000.

On the other hand, the MY23 units offer even better deals, with total benefits reaching up to Rs 85,000 which includes a substantial cash discount of up to Rs 60,000. Along with this, there's an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 and corporate benefits adding Rs 5,000 to the total savings.

Tata Altroz: July Discount Details

The MY23 Altroz offers a cash discount of Rs 45,000, along with additional benefits such as a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus and Rs 5,000 in corporate benefits. The CNG variant of this model comes with benefits amounting to Rs 55,000.

For the new MY24 Altroz model, there is a cash discount of up to Rs 25,000, and the CNG variant provides benefits of up to Rs 35,000.

Tata Motors has announced a new ‘King of SUVs’ festival under which the automaker is offering special prices and discounts across its range of SUVs. It is to be noted that all the celebratory offers are valid for bookings made up to 31 July.

The Tata Harrier and the Safari, the flagship offerings from the brand, are available with reduced prices applicable with immediate effect. The Harrier and the Safari can now be had at a starting price tag of Rs. 14.99 lakh and Rs. 15.49 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom), respectively. This effectively means that both cars are now affordable by Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 70,000, respectively.

Additionally, both, the Safari and the Harrier are now available with discounts of up to Rs. 1.4 lakh, applicable to select popular variants. Simultaneously, the Nexon EV gets a discount of up to Rs. 1.3 lakh, while the Punch is offered with benefits of up to Rs. 30,000.

Customers can avail benefits worth up to ₹ 50,000, depending on the specific model they choose to purchase. This discount scheme applies to popular Tata models such as the Tiago and Altroz hatchbacks, Tigor sedan, and the Harrier and Safari SUVs.

 However, it is important to note that Tata has excluded some of its best-selling models, namely the Nexon and Punch SUVs, from this discount offer. Let's take a closer look at the potential savings one can enjoy when buying a new Tata car.

Tata Motors is currently giving a discount of up to ₹ 45,000 on its smallest car in India, the Tiago hatchback . The Tiago is a safe hatchback available in three different versions: petrol, CNG, and electric. However, the discount is only applicable to the petrol and CNG versions. Unfortunately, the electric version, which was introduced last year, is not included in the discount offer. For the petrol version, Tata Motors is providing a cash discount of ₹ 20,000, an exchange bonus of ₹ 10,000, and a corporate discount of ₹ 5,000. Additionally, the CNG version receives an extra cash discount of ₹ 10,000.

Tata Motors is giving discounts on the Tigor sedan , specifically on the petrol and CNG versions. The biggest discount is offered on the Tigor CNG model, which amounts to ₹ 50,000. This includes benefits such as a cash discount of ₹ 35,000, an exchange bonus of ₹ 10,000, and a corporate discount of ₹ 5,000. The petrol version of the smaller sedan receives similar discounts to the petrol-only Tiago car.

Tata Altroz

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to ₹ 28,000 on the Altroz premium hatchback in July. The discount amount varies depending on the variant chosen. The Altroz hatchback is available in India with petrol, diesel, and CNG options. However, the discount is only applicable to the petrol and diesel versions, not the CNG variant. The base petrol variants of the Altroz receive a total discount of ₹ 23,000, while the other variants, including the diesel version, are eligible for benefits worth ₹ 28,000.

Tata Harrier/Safari 

Tata Motors is providing comparable discounts on two of its top SUVs, the Harrier and Safari . Customers can enjoy benefits of up to ₹ 35,000 on both models. However, the recently launched Red Dark Edition by Tata Motors is not included in this offer.

Tata Harrier, Safari - Valid until July 31

​The Harrier now starts at Rs 14.99 lakh, ex-showroom, after a Rs 50,000 price cut. The Safari's starting price has been reduced by Rs 70,000, making it Rs 15.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Additionally, the company offers extra benefits worth up to Rs 1.4 lakh on select variants of both SUVs.​

Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV - Valid until July 31

Besides the offer on Harrier and Safari models, Tata Motors is also offering discounts on its electric vehicles: up to Rs 1.3 lakh off the Nexon.ev and Rs 30,000 off the Punch.ev. This follows the recent milestone of 7 lakh Nexon SUVs sold in the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny - Valid until July 31

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny Zeta offers a cash discount of up to Rs 1.75 lakh, while the Alpha trim comes with a cash discount of up to Rs 1.8 lakh. Additionally, customers using Maruti Suzuki's finance service can receive extra benefits worth up to Rs 1.5 lakh.

Mahindra XUV700 - Valid until 10 Nov

​Mahindra has announced discounts of over Rs 2 lakhs on the AX7 variants. Effective today for four months, the highest discount is Rs 2.20 lakh on the AX7 Diesel-AT 7-str, and the lowest is Rs 1.50 lakh on the AX7 L Diesel-MT 7-str. The diesel variant is priced just Rs 50,000 above the petrol model.​

Tata Motors is offering big discounts on Nexon, Safari, Punch & Harrier

Tata Motors has achieved a milestone of 20 lakh unit sales in India for its SUVs. To celebrate the occasion, the brand is offering massive discounts on its Punch, Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. It is to be noted that these offers are valid only until 31 July, 2024.

As a part of its "King of SUVs" programme, the prices of the Harrier now start at Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Safari is now available with a starting price of Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the Harrier and Safari have become cheaper by Rs 50,000 and Rs 70,000, respectively. In fact, the select variants of the SUVs are offered with a discount of up to Rs 1.4 lakh. Further, customers planning to buy the Nexon EV can benefit from a discount of up to Rs 1.3 lakh, while the Punch EV buyers can save up to Rs 30,000.

The Harrier and Safari come powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 170PS and 350Nm of torque. This motor is coupled to a six-speed manual and a new automatic transmission with shift-by-wire technology.

On the flip side, the Nexon EV comes in two versions: Mid range (MR) and Long range (LR) versions with a claimed range of 325km and 465km, respectively. Similarly, an electric motor paired with the two battery units (30.2kWh and 40.5kWh) produces 129PS or 145PS, while the torque output of 215Nm remains identical. Also on offer with the Nexon EV are vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functions, which enable users to charge their various electronic appliances, gadgets, and tools. They can also provide charge to other EVs.

Last but not least, Tata offers its recently launched Punch EV with two versions: Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR). The MR gets a 25kWh unit with an MIDC driving range of up to 315km and its electric motor makes 82PS and 114Nm of torque. Whereas, the LR has a 35kWh battery pack, which offers a range of up to 421km and its motor delivers 122PS and 190Nm.

Tata Motors Discounts & Consumer Offers for July 2024

Tata Motors is offering a variety of discount schemes for its vehicles throughout July 2024. These discounts are applicable on both MY2024 and MY2023 chassis models. The offers include consumer discounts, exchange or scrappage schemes, and corporate discounts. Additionally, there is a special scheme for SBI YONO customers.

Tiago (Petrol): Customers can benefit from a consumer discount of ₹35,000, an exchange or scrappage discount of ₹20,000, and a corporate discount of ₹5,000. This adds up to a total discount of ₹60,000.

Tiago (CNG): This variant offers a consumer discount of ₹25,000, an exchange or scrappage discount of ₹20,000, and a corporate discount of ₹5,000, resulting in a total discount of ₹50,000.

Tigor (Petrol): Buyers can enjoy a consumer discount of ₹30,000, an exchange or scrappage discount of ₹20,000, and a corporate discount of ₹5,000, leading to a total discount of ₹55,000.

Tigor (CNG): Offers a total discount of ₹50,000, including a consumer discount of ₹25,000, an exchange or scrappage discount of ₹20,000, and a corporate discount of ₹5,000.

However, in the last few months, the Nexon has seen a drop in sales, and in May 2024, the Nexon failed to even make it to the top 10 list. In June, the Nexon barely made it to the list, while witnessing a YoY decline.

Moving on to the discounts, Tata Motors , to celebrate selling 20 lakh SUVs, if offering benefits worth Rs 1.3 lakh on the Nexon EV Empowered+ LR and Empowered+ LR Dark variants, while the other variants get a discount between Rs 50,000 and Rs 70,000.

Tata Punch EV discounts in July 2024

The Tata Punch has proven to be a popular product in India , owing to its size, features, pricing, and most importantly, its powertrain options — ICE and EV. The latter has gained a lot of traction since its launch and combined, Tata Motors sold 18,238 units in June 2024, witnessing 66% YoY growth.

For July 2024, the Tata Punch EV gets discounts and benefits ranging between Rs 10,000 and Rs 30,000. The Tata Punch EV’s prices start at Rs 10.98 lakh and is available in a total of 20 variants.

Mainstream car, SUV brands slash prices, offer discounts as demand tapers

The Indian passenger car segment seems to be tilting towards becoming a 'buyer's market' with popular SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate receiving lucrative discounts. On the other hand, the Mahindra XUV700, and Tata’s Harrier and Safari have received considerable price cuts.

Dealers are reporting a massive inventory situation of around 65-67 days, which is over double that of the normal levels. This makes it amply clear that manufacturers are swinging into action, and offering schemes that lure buyers into showrooms, despite the festive season being a couple of months away.

With slowing growth and rising inventory, major brands like Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) have got into a price war to woo buyers with their respective flagship SUVs. While the Harrier and Safari  received a price cut that ranges from Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000, depending on the model, Mahindra rolled out a 'temporary price reduction' on the XUV700 as an indirect response.

Depending on the variant, the  XUV700 has received price cuts  of around Rs 2 lakh. However, in a stock exchange filing, Mahindra said, “The announced price cut of XUV700 is a continuation of our business strategy execution that was articulated in our February 14, 2024 analyst meeting where we clearly outlined that we have to bring the average price point down to drive growth.” Mahindra is expecting to grow in the mid-teens in the current financial year.

Despite multiple offers and finance schemes over the last few months, both Indian brands haven't seen much change. While sales of the Harrier and Safari have registered a downward trend from more than 2,500 units units in January 2024 to around 1,300 units in June, there is no respite for M&M either. XUV700 sales have declined from around 7,200 units in January to 5,900 units last month. While the price cuts announced by Tata Motors and M&M are being touted as ‘temporary’ and might end in some time, we expect the SUVs to continue to be available at these prices for an elongated period.

Due to the slowing demand for the XUV700, production for the SUV has also gone down to 6,000-7,000 units from the earlier planned 10,000 a month, say sources.

Maruti, Hyundai models attract huge discounts

And the story does not end with Tata and Mahindra, country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki, on the other hand, has been pushing sales at both its Arena and premium Nexa outlets with multiple offers every month since January 2024. While the brand introduced a Dream series line-up of cars last month, Maruti says it has gathered around 21,000 bookings for the limited-edition Dream range and has extended the scheme into July as well. The Dream Edition line-up consists of entry-level models, including the Alto K10, S-Presso and Celerio, which are now available under this scheme with more equipment at a common starting price of Rs 4.5 lakh, ex-showroom. These entry-level Marutis have been struggling for quite some time in a market that is visibly shifting upwards towards more premium and better-equipped cars.

What is more, the brand has also introduced a similar offer package for the popular Brezza SUV which has also seen a notable drop in sales in the last few months. Sales of the Brezza were down to around 13,000 units in June from around 17,000 units in April this year. In comes the newly-launched Brezza Urbano Edition that gets more accessories at a discounted rate, thus claiming to give the consumer more value for their money.

Even the latest-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback that went on sale only in May this year has not been able to ride on the success of its predecessor. While dealer-level discounts of around Rs 10,00 were already being offered unofficially in June, Maruti has now officially announced discounts of up to Rs 15,000 in the month of July for its newest hatchback.

While Hyundai continues to see strong sales for its best-selling SUV – Creta – the No. 2 carmaker’s other models like the Alcazar and Exter are experiencing lesser demand. The brand introduced a dark edition of its smallest SUV called the Exter Knight and has been offering discounts in the range of Rs 10,000-20,000 on the standard Exter line-up since the last few months.

The Alcazar too is expected to receive a mid-life update by September, and therefore, existing stock is being offered with multiple offers and discounts of upto Rs 80,000 depending on variant and inventory levels at dealers. Hyundai despatched over 1,800 units of the Alcazar in January this year and the numbers have come down to mere 800 units for June 2024. One of the reasons for the lower numbers of the Alcazar is that the launch of the facelift is just around the corner and the current model is in its run-out phase.

The Venue compact SUV that rivals the Brezza also gets discounts of up to Rs 55,000 this month.  Sales have seen a slight dip for this model as well. Apart from the SUV line-up, hatchbacks like the Grand i10 Nios and the i20 can be purchased with offers and benefits of up to Rs 50,000. 

With leading mainstream brands like Mahindra, Tata, Hyundai and Maruti Suzuki seeing lesser demand, other brands like Volkswagen and Honda have been offering as much as six-figure discounts on their models. Volkswagen and Skoda are offering discounts and benefits of over 1.5 lakh on most of their India 2.0 line-up that includes the Slavia, Virtus, Kushaq and the Taigun.

The Honda Elevate, on the other hand, is available with benefits of around Rs 70,000 since a few months. Sales of the Elevate have also seen a major downward trend with around 4,500 units in January to a mere 2,100 units in June this year. Even the City sedan now can be had with benefits of around Rs 1 lakh at most locations with the City hybrid seeing even higher discounts. Thanks to the waiver of road tax announced in the state of UP, the City e:HEV can be had with even a lower price in this state.

What do experts say?

A ground level check with the dealers of these brands reveals a significant decline in customer footfalls at most locations and unsold inventory piling up. As per Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki, the soaring temperatures witnessed in several parts of the country over the last few months, accompanied with the national elections that culminated in June, kept buyers away from visiting showrooms. The top carmaker by sales volumes acknowledges that its 38-day inventory level is slightly above the normal range.

As a result, waiting periods are on the decline, with most popular models available within two to three weeks except the ones in huge demand that continue to have their waiting periods stretching in months. High demand SUVs like the XUV700, the Scorpio N, Harrier, Safari, Brezza and even MPVs like the Ertiga are readily available at most locations, depending on dealer inventory.

With the ‘pent-up demand’ generated due to the infamous chip shortage during the peak of Covid having tapered off over the last few months, and with raw materials being easily available to automakers, there is again a demand-supply mismatch that seems to have emerged in the market. And, with the entry-level segment continuing to reel under an affordability challenge, OEMs can now only pray for the rain gods to improve the situation in the monsoon, even as they roll out some hefty offers. “With monsoon forecast being above normal, and good projections for the Kharif crop, we are bullish about the momentum going forward,” said Maruti Suzuki’s Banerjee.

Tata Capital Housing Finance accepts bids for bond reissues, bankers say

India's Tata Capital Housing Finance has accepted bids worth an aggregate of 3.40 billion rupees ($40.7 million) for the reissue of 7.8445% September 2026 and 8.00% November 2027 bonds, three bankers said on Tuesday.

The housing finance company will offer a yield of 8.03% on each option, and had invited bids from bankers and investors on Monday, they said.
