Do tours have the same setlist? Many artists use the same list for every performance on a concert tour. Others prefer to vary their lists during a tour, either for the benefit of fans who attend multiple performances or to avoid a sense of monotony among the musicians. The Grateful Dead was known for never playing the same setlist twice.
To get a setlist at a concert, there are a few things you can try: Ask the band or artist directly. Sometimes they or their team can provide you with a setlist after the show. Check social media or fan forums. Look for setlist websites.
Setlists can greatly impact concert experiences. Variation in setlists can cater to fans who attend multiple shows, providing them with a unique experience each time. Minnesota rapper, Prof, has the charisma and energy to keep his audience engaged throughout his performance. His rapping is aggressive, abrasive, and absurd. He delivers his music with a force that makes you take him seriously, but his lyrics are full of playful antics and obscene word play, which conveys a carefree personality to his music.
Prof is a powerful force when on stage, running around and belting out his rap lyrics. He is usually backed by his sideman, Rahzwell, who provides the backing tracks and helps pump up the audience. The music that Prof raps over is usually quite diverse ranging from ethereal synthesizers that create emotive tones that can be heard in the song, âKarmaâ or he might rap over a highly upbeat backing track that incorporates loud bass drops and use of disc scratching. His lyrics are also very diverse and cover topics that include his misfortunate upbringing in the ghetto as well as finding parties and having a good time.
Prof has played at many diverse venues ranging from large festivals to small clubs. His delivery is always energetic and gets the crowd revved up. Prof and his sidekick Rahzwell used to perform their shows only after both of them were completely drunk from all the drinks their audience members bought them, which created a wild show for everyone in the venue. Prof and Rahzwell are always having fun with the audience when they perform. During their song âYeah Buddyâ they take supersoakers or water bottles and start to drench their audience with water during the song.
Prof has proven himself to be a diverse rapper that can master both the serious and playful side of rap. He has been listed as one of Minnesotaâs 20 best rappers and has the reputation of instilling joy into the audience whenever he performs.

This was my favorite show I've ever been to. There was so much energy in the room you couldn't help but being hyped up. Stage dives and a lot of crowd interaction. He came out afterwards so everyone could meet him, and was a really approachable and just overall awesome guy. I drove 5 hours to this show, and had to drive back before work in the morning, and it was more than worth all of that. Can't wait until next time, definitely going to see him again.
Prof and is crew gave a killer performance. His stage presence is energizing and one to be emulated. He always gets the crowd involved in such a memorable way. I first learned about Prof when he opened for Atmosphere at the Orpheum in Tampa several years ago. I was immediately hooked, and now so excited that Prof is a headliner. I certainly wasn't going to miss the show in Orlando!
Phenomenal. I've always heard great things about Prof shows. Its unfathomable that I had the chance to go. With the amount of eccentric energy that filled the room it would have been impossible not to enjoy yourself. He even shoveled through a case of food poisoning. Prof came with everything he had and Indianapolis, Indiana enjoyed every silly, deep, magical moment.
One of the best concerts I've been to HANDS DOWN. Prof has such great energy and knows how to keep the crowd entertained! He is so positive and gives off great vibes as well as he really interacted with members of the audience. Mac Irv, Cashinova, and Willy Wonka were all incredibly talented and had great energy as well. Just a great time overall.
Awesome Performance from Prof, Nacho Pacasso and Slow Dance... Well worth the trip and Nectar Lounge is a hidden gem of a venue... Will defiantly be goin back to the venue and too see the artist when they come back
Awesome show with Willy Wonka, Taylor J, & Ca$hinova... the place was jumping! If you haven't checked out a Prof show you need to! Played all the best songs like Gasoline, Light Work, and the newest Cousins.
Seen him @ Pubrock Live for the 2nd time. Amazing show and atmosphere. I would totally go back to that Venue. Can't wait to see more acts there. Wish there was more bartenders for faster service
Amazing singer! Phenomenal Hip-hop artist. Amazing human man! Love, love, love Prof!
It was an unforgettable show! My favorite song is Gasoline and I'm so happy that he performed it!
Prof is an animal. Party as always. Go check him out. Show got moved to a bigger venue cause it sold out so fast, and it was packed and nuts on a Wednesday.

Big Sean: Tiny Desk Concert
Bobby Carter
Credit: Photo: Michael Zamora
Most artists who play the Tiny Desk leave behind a small memento to live on the shelves. Big Sean gave us his special Detroit Tigers/ J Dilla baseball cap, an item that speaks to who he is as an artist. Sean doesn't allow too much time to pass without reminding you of his native Detroit, and his most recent freestyle samples an instrumental from the late great J Dilla. Sean pushed our boundaries, presenting one of the longest set lists in Tiny Desk history, but was also extremely gracious and collaborative with our team. This wasn't just another appearance for him. "It's something my kids can look back on, something my family can look back on to see where I was at in my career," he said before closing with the rambunctious "I Don't F*** With You."
Sean Anderson's journey from a high-pitched kid pining for the attention of Ye to one of the most respected lyricists and hitmakers in hip-hop is cleverly packed into this Tiny Desk concert. One of my favorite moments was when he touched on his background as a blog-era emcee. Most of the current kings and queens of hip-hop came up in the same era, and it's hard to fathom what the culture would be without that class. Every word and song of his performance was deliberate: from "Memories" right up to the world premiere of "On Up," a song dedicated to his son, Noah, whom he shares with singer JhenĂŠ Aiko , who also gets a bit of shine during his set.

ISIS Affiliate Linked to Moscow Attack Has Global Ambitions
The Islamic State in Khorasan is active in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran and has set its sights on Europe and beyond.
- Share full article
By Eric Schmitt
Reporting from Washington
Five years ago this month, an American-backed Kurdish and Arab militia ousted Islamic State fighters from a village in eastern Syria, the groupâs last sliver of territory.
Since then, the organization that once staked out a self-proclaimed caliphate across Iraq and Syria has metastasized into a more traditional terrorist group â a clandestine network of cells from West Africa to Southeast Asia engaged in guerrilla attacks, bombings and targeted assassinations.
None of the groupâs affiliates have been as relentless as the Islamic State in Khorasan, which is active in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran and has set its sights on attacking Europe and beyond. U.S. officials say the group carried out the attack near Moscow on Friday, killing scores of people and wounding many others.
In January, Islamic State Khorasan, or ISIS-K, carried out twin bombings in Iran that killed scores and wounded hundreds of others at a memorial service for Iranâs former top general, Qassim Suleimani, who was targeted in a U.S. drone strike four years earlier.
âThe threat from ISIS,â Avril D. Haines, the director of national intelligence, told a Senate panel this month, âremains a significant counterterrorism concern.â Most attacks âglobally taken on by ISIS have actually occurred by parts of ISIS that are outside of Afghanistan,â she said.
Gen. Michael E. Kurilla, the head of the militaryâs Central Command, told a House committee on Thursday that ISIS-K âretains the capability and the will to attack U.S. and Western interests abroad in as little as six months with little to no warning.â
American counterterrorism specialists on Sunday dismissed the Kremlinâs suggestion that Ukraine was behind Fridayâs attack near Moscow. âThe modus operandi was classic ISIS,â said Bruce Hoffman, a terrorism scholar at the Council on Foreign Relations.
The assault was the third concert venue in the Northern Hemisphere that ISIS has struck in the past decade, Mr. Hoffman said, following an attack on the Bataclan theater in Paris in November 2015 (as part of a broader operation that struck other targets in the city) and a suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester Arena, England, in May 2017.
Islamic State Khorasan, founded in 2015 by disaffected members of the Pakistani Taliban, burst onto the international jihadist scene after the Taliban toppled the Afghan government in 2021. During the U.S. military withdrawal from the country, ISIS-K carried out a suicide bombing at the international airport in Kabul in August 2021 that killed 13 U.S. service members and as many as 170 civilians.
Since then, the Taliban have been fighting ISIS-K in Afghanistan. So far, the Talibanâs security services have prevented the group from seizing territory or recruiting large numbers of former Taliban fighters, according to U.S. counterterrorism officials.
But the upward arc and scope of ISIS-Kâs attacks have increased in recent years, with cross-border strikes into Pakistan and a growing number of plots in Europe. Most of those European plots were thwarted, prompting Western intelligence assessments that the group might have reached the lethal limits of its capabilities.
Last July, Germany and the Netherlands coordinated arrests targeting seven Tajik, Turkmen and Kyrgyz individuals linked to a ISIS-K network who were suspected of plotting attacks in Germany.
Three men were arrested in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia over alleged plans to attack the Cologne Cathedral on New Yearâs Eve 2023. The raids were linked to three other arrests in Austria and one in Germany on Dec. 24. The four people were reportedly acting in support of ISIS-K.
American and other Western counterterrorism officials say these plots were organized by low-level operatives who were detected and thwarted relatively quickly.
âThus far, ISIS-Khorasan has relied primarily on inexperienced operatives in Europe to try to advance attacks in its name,â Christine S. Abizaid, the head of the National Counterterrorism Center, told a House committee in November.
But there are worrisome signs that ISIS-K is learning from its mistakes. In January, masked assailants attacked a Roman Catholic church in Istanbul, killing one person. Shortly afterward, the Islamic State, through its official Amaq News Agency , claimed responsibility. Turkish law enforcement forces detained 47 people, most of them Central Asian nationals.
Since then, Turkish security forces have launched mass counteroperations against ISIS suspects in Turkey, Syria and Iraq. Several European investigations shed light on the global and interconnected nature of ISIS finances, according to a United Nations report in January, which identified Turkey as a logistical hub for ISIS-K operations in Europe.
The Moscow and Iran attacks demonstrated more sophistication, counterterrorism officials said, suggesting a greater level of planning and an ability to tap into local extremist networks.
âISIS-K has been fixated on Russia for the past two years,â frequently criticizing President Vladimir V. Putin in its propaganda, said Colin P. Clarke, a counterterrorism analyst at the Soufan Group, a security consulting firm based in New York. âISIS-K accuses the Kremlin of having Muslim blood in its hands, referencing Moscowâs interventions in Afghanistan, Chechnya and Syria.â
A significant portion of ISIS-Kâs members are of Central Asian origin, and there is a large contingent of Central Asians living and working in Russia. Some of these individuals may have become radicalized and been in position to serve in a logistical function, stockpiling weapons, Mr. Clarke said.
Daniel Byman, a counterterrorism specialist at Georgetown University, said that âISIS-K has gathered fighters from Central Asia and the Caucasus under its wing, and they may be responsible for the Moscow attack, either directly or via their own networks.â
Russian and Iranian authorities apparently did not take seriously enough public and more detailed private American warnings of imminent ISIS-K attack plotting, or were distracted by other security challenges.
âIn early March, the U.S. government shared information with Russia about a planned terrorist attack in Moscow,â Adrienne Watson, a spokeswoman for the National Security Council, said on Saturday. âWe also issued a public advisory to Americans in Russia on March 7. ISIS bears sole responsibility for this attack. There was no Ukrainian involvement whatsoever.â
Russian authorities on Saturday announced the arrest of several suspects in Fridayâs attack. But senior American officials said on Sunday that they were still digging into the background of the assailants and trying to determine whether they were deployed from South or Central Asia for this specific attack or if they were already in the country as part of the network of supporters that ISIS-K then engaged and encouraged.
Counterterrorism specialists voiced concern on Sunday that the attacks in Moscow and Iran might embolden ISIS-K to redouble its efforts to strike in Europe, particularly in France, Belgium, Britain and other countries that have been hit on and off for the past decade.
The U.N. report, using a different name for Islamic State Khorasan, said âsome individuals of North Caucasus and Central Asian origin traveling from Afghanistan or Ukraine toward Europe represent an opportunity for ISIL-K, which seeks to project violent attacks in the West.â The report concluded that there was evidence of âcurrent and unfinished operational plots on European soil conducted by ISIL-K.â
A senior Western intelligence official identified three main drivers that could inspire ISIS-K operatives to attack: the existence of dormant cells in Europe, images of the war in Gaza and support from Russian-speaking people living in Europe.
One major event this summer has many counterterrorism officials on edge.
âI worry about the Paris Olympics,â said Edmund Fitton-Brown, a former top U.N. counterterrorism official who is now a senior adviser to the Counter Extremism Project. âThey would be a premium terrorist target.â

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday 2 tour: See the setlist for her career-spanning concert
T hough she kicked off her Pink Friday 2 tour March 1 in Oakland, California, and still has more than a month to roam the country before heading to Europe, Nicki Minaj's enthusiasm and spunkiness are still raging.
On April 1, Minaj rolled into Capital One Arena in D.C. with a glossy spectacle and plenty of her trademark attitude for another sold-out date.
With a career-spanning 33-track setlist â albeit with some shortened versions of songs â Minaj, 41, delivered a fun, colorful set for fans who have waited more than eight years to see her on a U.S. tour again.
Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.
Her anticipated âPink Friday 2â album arrived in December and was preceded by a snappy update of Aquaâs âBarbie Girlâ with Ice Spice on âBarbie Worldâ ( from the âBarbieâ movie soundtrack , for those with fleeting memories).
That hit, as well as new songs including âFTCU,â âBig Differenceâ and âRuby Red da Sleeze,â allowed Minaj to slip into her various personas , which she also did gleefully with megahits âSuper Bassâ and âAnaconda.â
Minajâs devotees â aka âBarbzâ â came ready to play, bopping in the arena clad in more pink than the cityâs famed cherry blossom trees.
Here are the songs fans will hear during Minajâs Pink Friday 2 World Tour.
