Beyoncé returned to the stage for first time in four years in January
Last month, Beyoncé made her return to the stage and performed at the opening of the Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai. Despite the luxury experience, the singer left fans wanting more, as she did not perform any songs from "Renaissance," The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The invitation-only event marked her first concert in more than four years. She last performed at the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 event in 2018.
Beyoncé dominates Grammy nominations
The singer's tour announcement comes days ahead of the Grammys where Beyoncé leads the 2023 lineup with nine nominations, including best dance/electronic album ("Renaissance"), best R&B performance ("Virgo’s Groove") and best traditional R&B performance ("Plastic Off the Sofa").
With 28 wins and 88 total career nominations, Beyoncé now ties her husband, rapper Jay-Z , for the most nominations in Grammy history. If Beyoncé picks up four or more awards this year, she will surpass the late Georg Solti for the most Grammy wins of all time. (The Hungarian-born conductor holds the record with 31.)

Beyoncé called out by Monica Lewinsky: over 'Partition' lyric after ableism controversy
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have got "to be the most intense power couple in the history of music," Recording Academy president Harvey Mason Jr. Mason said after the nominations were revealed. "That’s music and Grammy royalty – that’s the royal family."
Their combined 176 nominations are "absolutely a testament to their talent, to their level of excellence, to their work ethic, to their level of greatness over a long period of time. I don’t even know what the next (leading) couple would be, but it’s not anywhere close.”
Beyoncé's 'Break My Soul.' Taylor Swift's 'Anti-Hero.' These are the 10 best songs of 2022, ranked.
Beyoncé noticeably was not nominated in any of the music video categories for the Grammys, having not released any album visuals for "Renaissance" since its debut.

Where can you get tickets?
Tickets for the North American leg of the tour will be available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb 6, with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, according to a Live Nation press release.
Verified Fan registration is now open. Once you register, you'll be placed in a lottery system that determines which fans get invited to purchase tickets. Registration alone doesn't guarantee tickets. If you're selected, you'll get an access code the day before tickets go on sale. Everyone else will be placed on a waitlist. According to Live Nation, this process is intended to help Ticketmaster weed out the resellers and verify your account so that actual fans get priority to buy tickets.
Citi cardmembers will have a special Citi Presale after the Verified Fan process. Get more details here . Verizon will also offer an exclusive presale through their customer loyalty program Verizon Up .
Will Beyoncé be using Ticketmaster like Taylor Swift to sell tickets?
Yes, but given what happened with Taylor Swift's Eras tour (and the fact it led to Congressional hearings about Ticketmaster ’s practices), it seems very likely both Beyoncé and Ticketmaster would want to avoid repeating that mess. That most likely explains the usage of the Verified Fan system.
Where will Beyoncé be playing?
The Renaissance World Tour will hit 40 cities in North America and across Europe. Stops include Paris, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, and many more.
What has Beyoncé said about the Renaissance World Tour?
She just announced it was happening with a post on February 1. Her website didn't immediately contain any more details. But during the Wearable Art Gala in October 2022, she appeared to confirm it would start this summer, as a backstage tour with her mother Tina Lawson was up for auction at the event.
Will Beyoncé be performing at the Grammys (on February 5) and sharing more tour details there?
Not clear yet, but she is the most nominated artist at the ceremony . On January 21, Variety reported that “ talks with show producers are ongoing for a possible onstage appearance ” by Beyoncé.
What can we expect from the tour on stage?
Beyoncé hasn't shared that yet either, but given the artistry she put into her recent Dubai show , it's fair to say we can expect no less than excellence, elaborate costumes, and an incredible experience.
This post will be updated the moment more detail is released.

Beyoncé Announces ‘Renaissance’ Stadium Tour Dates

As expected, Beyoncé has announced a 2023 world tour on Instagram, supporting her multiple-Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “Renaissance.” She also released the dates and cities on her official website.
The timing of the announcement, which comes just days before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, sparks speculation that the singer may perform or at least appear on the show. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist for the awards with nine, all related to “ Renaissance .” Sources tell Variety that her husband Jay-Z will perform with DJ Khaled on the show, most likely their nominated song “God Did.”
Popular on Variety
Beyoncé has said that “Renaissance” is a three-part project, so it’s possible that the next parts could be another album, a long-form video project or even the tour itself.
Beyoncé’s last full tour was the nearly six-month, 49-date “Formation” tour in 2016, which unusually featured no guest appearances until the final show, at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where she brought out Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.
She did, however, stage an epochal “Homecoming” headlining performance at the 2018 Coachella festival — which was postponed from 2017 due to the birth of her and Jay’s twins — for which she was accompanied by a full marching band in a nod to historically Black colleges and universities. That blockbuster performance was later released as the “Homecoming” album and — via a three-project deal with Netflix that sources tell Variety is worth $60 million — a feature-length documentary. It seems possible that a future “Renaissance” video project could be part of that deal as well.

Beyoncé announces Renaissance world tour
Singer’s first tour in seven years names UK dates including Cardiff, Edinburgh and London, followed by shows in Europe and North America
Beyoncé has shared details of her first tour in seven years. The hugely anticipated Renaissance world tour will begin on 10 May at Stockholm’s Friends Arena before working its way through stadiums in Europe and the UK over the course of spring and summer. The tour’s North American leg starts on 7 July in Toronto, and continues through to the autumn, with a concluding date set for 27 September at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.
The Renaissance world tour includes an extensive run of UK dates: Beyoncé will perform on 29 and 30 May at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Cardiff, Edinburgh and Sunderland set for 17 May, 20 May and 23 May respectively. Tickets for all dates will be available from Beyoncé’s website .
Beyoncé’s last tour was 2016’s Formation world tour . That show, in support of her sixth album Lemonade, saw her perform in Sunderland , Cardiff , London, Manchester and Glasgow, totalling over 300,000 tickets in the UK alone.
The Renaissance world tour supports Beyoncé’s 2022 album of the same name. Widely hailed as a career-best, the album was acclaimed for its pivot to club styles such as house and disco, as well as for a credits list that highlighted LGBTQ+ Black pioneers such as Honey Dijon, Kevin Aviance, Ts Madison and Big Freedia. Voted the best album of 2022 by Guardian music critics , it debuted at No 1 on the UK and US charts, and has been certified gold in the UK, indicating sales in excess of 100,000. Writing about the album in an end-of-year essay, Jenessa Williams said that Renaissance “sees Beyoncé at her most lyrically playful, political by destiny rather than design.”
Although Renaissance was lauded for its platforming of LGBTQ+ artists upon release, Beyoncé has faced criticism this year for choosing to perform at the private opening of luxury Dubai hotel Atlantis the Royal, given the United Arab Emirates’ criminalisation of homosexuality and allegations that migrant workers in the country face conditions amounting to indentured servitude.
Jason Okundaye wrote for the Guardian : “the issue of migrant labour adds an additional dimension to conversations on the ethics of concerts.”
after newsletter promotion
“It’s as much about where Beyoncé performs as who she’s performed for and who she’s accepted money from,” he wrote. “Renaissance’s lead single, Break My Soul, may have been billed as the pro-worker Great Resignation anthem of last summer, but it is muted when money talks.”

You won’t break Beyoncé’s soul, but she may break Ticketmaster.
The superstar performer announced her highly anticipated “Renaissance” world tour on Wednesday.
Beyoncé, 41, will kick off the North American leg on July 8 in Toronto , with subsequent stops in US cities including Chicago, New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and New Orleans, among others.
See the full itinerary, which also includes international dates, below. (If you’re looking to jump on tickets now, head over to our in-depth tour-date breakdown on The Post.)
Page Six exclusively revealed in September 2022 that Beyoncé was planning to take her critically acclaimed dance album on the road this summer.
A source told us at the time that the 28-time Grammy winner was booking stadiums around the world for her first tour since her and her husband Jay-Z’s “On the Run II” shows in 2018.
Beyoncé’s tour announcement comes on the heels of her controversial concert in Dubai , where she sang two decades of hits to celebrate the opening of the luxurious Atlantis The Royal resort.
Want early access to Beyoncé tickets? We found them here.
Although “Renaissance” pays homage to the queer roots of house music, Queen Bey notably did not perform any songs from the album during her hour-long Jan. 21 show in the United Arab Emirates, where homosexuality is illegal.
Beyoncé reportedly received a $24 million paycheck to headline the invitation-only event, which over 1,000 celebrities, influencers and journalists attended.
The “Cuff It” singer has not publicly addressed the backlash .

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour
By Evan Minsker and Allison Hussey
Beyoncé has announced that she’s touring in support of her latest album, Renaissance . The tour begins with a European leg in May, followed by dates in Canada and the United States that extend from from early July through late September. It’s her first tour since her 2018 co-headlining On the Run II Tour with Jay-Z behind their collaborative album, Everything Is Love , and her first headlining tour since 2016’s Formation World Tour behind Lemonade . The Renaissance World Tour is produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation. See all of the dates below.
Renaissance arrived July 29, rising swiftly to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and marking Beyoncé’s seventh album to summit the albums chart. It is the first act in what will be a three-part series, she has indicated.
Beyoncé hinted at her world tour in late October, during the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala, where the raffle included “ a UNIQUE experience ” to see her on the Renaissance tour. Purported images from the auction featured descriptions of the summer 2023 trek. Valued at $20,000, the package included first-class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay, two concert tickets, and a guided backstage tour from Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles aka Miss Tina. Beyoncé was reportedly in attendance at the gala. In January, she performed at the opening of a new luxury resort in Dubai, but did not play any Renaissance material at the private concert . It was her first live performance since 2020.
Since sharing Renaissance , Beyoncé has made a few adjustments to the album; she replaced ableist lyrics in “ Heated ,” and removed an interpolation of Kelis ’ “Milkshake” on “Energy” after Kelis said she was not informed by Beyoncé and her team that her music was going to be used on the new album. Beyoncé also dropped Honey Dijon and Madonna remixes of “ Break My Soul .”
In 2019, Beyoncé released Homecoming: The Live Album . The next year, she shared Black Is King , a visual album based on her 2019 soundtrack for The Lion King: The Gift . (Beyoncé voiced adult Nala in the CGI remake film.) On Juneteenth of that year, she surprise-released “ Black Parade ,” which would go on to win the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance . At the same ceremony, she also won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song (for her feature on the remix of Megan Thee Stallion ’s “ Savage ”), as well as Best Music Video (for The Gift ’s “ Brown Skin Girl ”). “ Be Alive ”—her contribution to the King Richard soundtrack—was nominated for an Oscar at last year’s ceremony.
Beyoncé is nominated for nine honors at the 2023 Grammy Awards : Record of the Year , Song of the Year , and Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Break My Soul”; Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for Renaissance ; Best R&B Performance for “Virgo’s Groove”; Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa”; Best R&B Song for “Cuff It”; and Best Song Written for Visual Media for “Be Alive.”

Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour
The star’s first solo tour since 2016 will start May 10 in Stockholm.
- Share full article
By Joe Coscarelli
For the first time since 2016 — a world before Beychella , Covid-19 and “Renaissance” — Beyoncé will headline a solo tour, the singer announced in a social media post on Wednesday.
Beginning on May 10 in Stockholm, and continuing in Europe through June before coming to North America, the Renaissance World Tour, in support of her seventh solo album, will run for at least 40 dates, largely in stadiums, according to dates posted to Beyoncé’s website . The tour includes one night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (July 29) and one at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. (Sept. 2) amid stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, Atlanta, Phoenix and Miami.
Limited tickets for certain tour dates will go on sale beginning Monday for members of Beyoncé’s BeyHive fan club, followed by the staggered release of additional tickets by market, using a complex registration system for various tiers of buyer.
The tour, produced by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, will use Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system , which aims to limit bots and professional scalpers, marking one of the first major tests for Ticketmaster since extraordinary demand for early tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour last year led to fan backlash and regulatory scrutiny . At a Senate Judiciary hearing last month spurred by the botched presale, artists, fans and politicians cast Live Nation Entertainment, the concert industry giant that owns Ticketmaster, as a monopoly that hinders competition and harms consumers.
Beyoncé’s shows will be the singer’s first live events available to the public since the On the Run II tour with her husband, Jay-Z, in 2018, tied to the surprise release of a joint album, “Everything Is Love,” by the duo billed as the Carters. Beyoncé last toured alone behind her previous solo album, “Lemonade,” in 2016. Two years later, she headlined the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
That show — which went on to be released as “Homecoming” (2019), a live album and concert film — was called “rich with history, potently political and visually grand” in a review by the New York Times critic Jon Caramanica. “By turns uproarious, rowdy, and lush. A gobsmacking marvel of choreography and musical direction.”
In the years since, Beyoncé has surfaced intermittently, including with songs like “Black Parade,” which won a Grammy Award for best R&B performance, and “Be Alive,” which appeared in the movie “King Richard” and was nominated for an Oscar. Last year, in a taped performance, Beyoncé performed the song at the 94th annual Academy Awards.
But the singer made a return to the pop mainstream in earnest with the July 2022 release of “Renaissance,” a dance-floor-oriented album that she said was inspired by the L.G.B.T.Q. community and has spawned hits like “Break My Soul” and “Cuff It.” At the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Beyoncé is nominated nine times , with a chance to become the most-awarded artist in history.
Upon its release, the singer called “Renaissance” part of a “three act project” that she recorded during the pandemic. “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment,” she wrote of the album, which was billed as Act I. “A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom.”
Major music touring has largely recovered, especially at its highest levels, since the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the industry trade publication Pollstar , touring grossed a record-setting $6.28 billion last year, up more than 13 percent from 2019, due in part to pent-up fan demand, inflation and major acts like Bad Bunny, Elton John and Harry Styles.
In addition to Beyoncé’s shows, this year will see blockbuster tours from artists including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Metallica, Morgan Wallen and Madonna.
Last month, Beyoncé proved more polarizing than usual when she headlined the grand opening of a luxury hotel in Dubai, performing for an invite-only collection of guests, including influencers and journalists.
While some fans decried the optics of taking a major payday in a place that criminalizes homosexuality — “Beyoncé’s Dubai performance isn’t just an affront to LGBTQ+ fans, but workers’ rights in the UAE,” The Guardian declared — others noted that the singer’s set list did not yet include songs from “Renaissance.”
An earlier version of this article misstated the year Beyoncé headlined Coachella. It was 2018, not 2016.

Remain Calm, Beyoncé Is Officially Going On a Renaissance World Tour
Please do not be alarmed , remain calm: Beyoncé is officially going on a Renaissance world tour. The woman who announced an album on her Instagram bio has decided to share this news via … an auction slideshow. On October 22, the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala raffled off “a UNIQUE experience” to see Beyoncé on a Renaissance tour that will start in summer 2023 and include “national and international destinations.” Bey was at the event, so it seems certain that she signed off on this reveal. Valued at $20,000, the package included first-class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay, two Renaissance concert tickets, and a guided backstage tour from Beyoncé’s mom, Miss Tina. According to Yahoo! News , video from the event shows that bids reached at least $50,000. The final price has not been confirmed, but an attendee has claimed that the package was ultimately auctioned off for a whopping $150,000. To that we can only say, best of luck to the Beyhive when tickets officially go on sale.

Hmm I wonder if the woman who keeps banging on about Brown Skin and being an African Queen will actually go to the African continent with her tour because she never has before, which I always thought was funny considering how much she reveres it. Overrated anyway.

If you're aiming to buy tickets for the final performances of Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, we've got you covered. Here's our breakdown of Beyoncé's remaining tour schedule, purchasing details, and resale and original ticket prices. Or you can browse through the available tickets left through StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Beyoncé 2023 Renaissance tour schedule
The Renaissance World Tour still has 11 concert dates across eight cities, including three shows in Inglewood, California. In addition to one stop in Vancouver, Canada, the remaining shows will be held in the United States. Tickets are the most expensive in Beyoncé's hometown of Houston, Texas. All concert times are listed in local time zones. We've linked to the ticket site with the cheapest deals (at the time of writing) in the 'Prices from' column.
Where to buy tickets for Beyoncé 2023 Renaissance tour
You can purchase original tickets to Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour through Ticketmaster , although only a select number remain for each 2023 date and location. However, the tickets still available on Ticketmaster are typically more expensive than those found on verified resale platforms such as StubHub and Vivid Seats .
The prices for standard tickets to Beyoncé's concerts from StubHub start at approximately $102 on the lower end to nearly $400, depending on the venue. Vivid Seats offers similar price ranges for standard Renaissance World Tour tickets, ranging from about $100 in Las Vegas to $375 in Houston. When considering VIP packages, the cost increases significantly on each purchasing platform.
How much are Beyoncé tickets?
The prices for original Beyoncé concert tickets have risen considerably since the end of the initial Verified Fan Sale through Ticketmaster. Additionally, the cost of an original ticket varies depending on the demand for a particular location and date.
For instance, the cheapest price on Ticketmaster for a standard original ticket to the 2023 Renaissance World Tour is $91.83 for her Las Vegas, Nevada show on August 27. However, there are very few standard original tickets remaining for Beyoncé's concerts, so you may have better luck with verified resales.
Meanwhile, some original VIP packages, such as the Pure/Honey on Stage Risers, cost well over $3,000. At Beyoncé's August 30 performance in Santa Clara, the original VIP package costs $3,601. On the less expensive side, original Beyhive VIP Package prices are $1,401 in Seattle. Here's a breakdown of the various Beyoncé VIP packages from Ticketmaster's website .
Original prices typically come in much higher than resale prices for Beyoncé concerts. Many of the cheaper tickets are verified resales for nearer tour dates, suggesting you might find the best prices when it gets closer to the concert date.
Who is opening for Beyoncé's tour?
Beyoncé's world tour does not include any opening acts from other artists. Once the showtime begins for each concert date, it will be the Queen Bey herself who comes onstage.
There are no traditional opening acts for the 2023 Renaissance World Tour because Beyoncé is technically the opener to her own concerts. The time typically reserved for other artists at the start of the concert instead sees Beyoncé sing R&B ballads from her early discography, beginning with her Destiny's Child-era 2000 song "Dangerously in Love 2."
Approximately four songs are played in Beyoncé's "Opening Act" before moving into her "Renaissance" tracks. The concert is approximately two and a half hours long with 31 songs on the setlist, so Beyoncé's tour has more than enough hit music to fill the night.
Since Beyoncé opened with the international leg of her ninth solo tour, the music sensation will take her final bow of the concert series on October 1 in Kansas City, Missouri. While the remaining concert dates are primarily in the United States, there will be one last international show in Vancouver, Canada, on September 11, 2023.

Why Beyoncé Fans Are Asking Her to Hold Off on Announcing a Cowboy Carter Tour
R umors that Beyoncé will announce a tour to support her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter , have been swirling online since the project came out last week. And though the singer has not announced plans for a tour as yet, the speculation has many fans already anticipating steep ticket prices.
“BRB gonna apply for a new credit card,” wrote one person on X in response to a post from a pop culture account that suggests Beyoncé will announce a tour on Friday. “I mean, we don’t have money, but we will be there,” wrote another.

While there has been no official announcement of a new tour, the singer’s most followed fan accounts fueled rumors on Thursday by sharing a link on to a site called BeenCountry.com, which takes users to a page of photos of Beyoncé and one of her mother when she was younger with her maiden name, Celestine Beyince.
As rumors fly, fans are begging Beyoncé to hold off on announcing a tour, joking that they still need to financially recover from her last one. The Renaissance World Tour, which wrapped up in Oct. 2023 and was her first since the On The Run Tour II in 2018. According to Billboard , tickets for the Renaissance Tour ranged in price depending on the reseller. The average fan could expect to pay around $400 to $550, Billboard reported, with resale tickets for her Houston show going for as low as $279.
“NO TOUR UNTIL 2025,” one post said, and it was met with support from other commenters. “I ain’t going to the cowboy carter tour y'all,” another post says, “I thought I had more time. I thought I had more time.”

Another person joked that they wouldn’t be able to eat real food because they knew the concert would be expensive. According to Billboard , the Renaissance Tour tickets ranged in price depending on the reseller. They report that the average fan could expect to pay around $400 to $550, with resale tickets for her Houston show going for as low as $279.

The rumors of a new tour are still unfounded, but not impossible—although it would come faster than Beyoncé’s announcement for the Renaissance World Tour, which arrived several months after she released the album in 2022. It would not be unlike Beyoncé to have a few tricks up her sleeve, some that delight her fans—and some that throw them into a frenzy.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 11: (L-R) Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Taylor Swift attend the ... [+] "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" Concert Movie World Premiere at AMC The Grove 14 on October 11, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by John Shearer/Getty Images for TAS)
Taylor Swift and Beyoncé are often mentioned in the same breath as one another these days, as the two are arguably the most successful female musicians on the planet at the moment. They have both released new albums in the past several years, earning critical praise and smash hits, and winning Grammys. But what do they have in common with Bob Marley?
All three of those artists have topped the box office in the U.S. in the past half-year or so. Two of them managed the feat with concert films, while Marley’s name appeared at No. 1 on the ranking of the highest-grossing theatrical releases in America with a biopic that tells his story and makes use of his brand and music.
Swift started this musical trend in October 2023 with her Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film. The movie, which focuses on her ongoing trek of the same name, was a box office smash when it arrived, and it now ranks as the highest-grossing concert film ever.
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour hit No. 1 in countries all around the world, including in the U.S. It ranked as the top-grossing film in America for two weeks running, and even after it fell from the highest rung, it still continued to make millions each week for months. Eventually, it earned more than $180 million domestically.
Two months after Swift conquered the movie industry, Beyoncé followed suit. Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé debuted at No. 1 at the U.S. box office the weekend of December 1 through 3. That concert movie/documentary only ruled for one frame, but it went on to become hugely successful. In America alone, Bey’s latest visual feast brought in just under $34 million in ticket sales.

Bob Marley: One Love then opened at No. 1 in the U.S. starting the weekend of February 16 through 18. It would remain the most popular option in American movie theaters for three weeks, before eventually being replaced by Dune: Part Two .
So far, Bob Marley: One Love has made just under $100 million at the box office in America, and it’s not done just yet. The movie isn’t a concert film or a documentary, but rather a somewhat fictionalized retelling of the reggae powerhouse’s life and rise to the highest of highs in the music industry. Clearly audiences still love him and his work, as they made the title a smash success.
The notable box office sums that Swift, Beyoncé, and Marley commanded show that there’s real interest in music and musical stories. Musicians are some of the most beloved and popular celebrities in the world, and more and more, they’re finding ways to connect with audiences via other mediums. Paired with an evolving landscape in the theatrical space, it seems likely that more of these kinds of films will find their way to the big screen.

Aerosmith announces rescheduled dates for ‘Peace Out’ farewell tour
I NDIANAPOLIS ( WXIN ) — Aerosmith has announced their return to the road after the band’s farewell tour was delayed due to singer Steven Tyler fracturing his larynx.
“We’re thrilled to announce new dates for our 2024 PEACE OUT Tour with special guests The Black Crowes!” reads a message posted to the band’s Facebook page.
The rescheduled tour kicks off in Pittsburgh on Sept. 20, 2024, with nearly 40 more concerts scheduled in the U.S. and Canada through February 2025.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled 2025 performances. Live Nation said ticketholders will receive information via email about how to use their previously purchased tickets.
Aerosmith had originally announced the postponement of their farewell tour in Sept. 2023, after Tyler announced he had suffered a fractured larynx.
“He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential,” the band wrote in a statement shared on social media.
Tyler also released a statement himself, saying he was “heartbroken” by the news.
Now, however, the band is gearing up to finish their farewell tour, with the Black Crowes returning as the opening act. Singer-songwriter Teddy Swims will be performing at the Pittsburgh show in place of the Black Crowes, according to the latest announcement.
Aerosmith said fans at their “Peace Out” tour dates will be treated to a selection of the band’s greatest hits over the last five decades.
“In addition, THX will bring their THX Certified Live! high-fidelity experience on the road, calibrating each arena with leading-edge technology so fans don’t miss a beat of Aerosmith’s classic rock tunes in quality audio,” the band’s official site adds.
Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster on Friday, April 12, at 10:00 a.m. ET. More information is available at Aerosmith’s official website.
