My favorite part about the tour was its itinerary. I chose this one specifically for the diverse number of locations, and to see as much as possible of Nepal in 10 days, and it definitely delivered. From valleys to mountains, lakes to jungles, to stupas and temples, Nepal is without a doubt, a beautiful country, with plenty of stunning vistas (like an endless supply of jaw-dropping sights ahahha). It does have a few issues with its infrastructure, but honestly, once you reach any of your destinations, you simply forget about them and enjoy the view and the experience. Furthermore, I'd like to mention that the guides were really helpful and essential in facilitating various elements of any journey in a new country. To conclude, it truly was a memorable experience, one you should give a try.

Kathmandu Valley Highlights

My friend and I did the Kathmandu Valley Highlights tour plus Lumbini. Ramesh was incredibly helpful in finding good solutions for us due to a cancelled flight – our tour had to be adjusted and with his professionalism we didn't miss a single thing! Our guide, Rajesh, was really the highlight of our tour. He is a really warm, knowledgeable, and kind person. He really did his best to understand our tastes, interests, and needs. This was my first time in Nepal and I loved everything I saw and experienced. I can't wait to go back, and when I do, I'll book with Apex again.

The tour was great! I was picked up at the airport on time and was taken to a lovely hotel. During my trekking I became ill and had to go back to Kathmandu via helicopter and they did everything to help me book new tours so that my trip could continue.

Luxury tour in Nepal

Greatly enjoyed our 10-day customized Nepal trip visiting Pokhara, Chitwan and Kathmandu! Just a word to the wise, never trust the weather in Chitwan :) You might get soaked to the bone even in dry season and the very crude cover on safari jeep is unlikely to provide much protection, if at all. Our guide Sandesh in Kathmandu is a very knowledgeable and attentive guide. We learned so much from him. He was always patient with us and took pains to meet all our needs. We felt safe with our traffic savvy, cheery driver and he was always on time. The only problem we had was hotel Mt Kailash in Pokhara which ran out of hot water. We waited for hours for the issue to be resolved, but to no avail, and had to go to bed without taking showers. Hotel Green Park Chitwan with lovely grounds and delightful food as well as Nepali Ghar in Kathmandu were wonderful, providing stellar service. Many thanks to our tour operator Prakash who made sure we had a great time, we would highly recommend Approved Holidays!

Luxury Everest Base Camp trekking from Kathmandu

We had a wonderful tour with Luxury Holidays. Ram, our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and we always felt safe and in good hands. More than one of our party fell ill and had to be evacuated by helicopter. There was never any pressure on us to choose that route. It was entirely each of the affected person’s choice to return. One of the people wanted to hike back, thinking if he takes it easy and as he was going back down, he would be able to manage. Ram advised against this and this turned out to be the correct call as the person was more ill (he has a serious infection which led to an elevated heart rate) than originally realised. The management of Luxury Holidays arranged the helicopter evacuations and dealt with the insurance on our behalf from start to finish. All of it was a great experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend Luxury Holidays!

Nepal: Himalaya Highlights National Geographic Journeys

This was far and away the absolute trip of a lifetime. Our guide BK was wonderful and taught us so much along the way about the country which made the trip so much more meaningful. He is gifted at his job and made the entire process (including many logistics that would have been otherwise quite difficult) seamless, easy and fun. The itinerary was amazing, every time I felt the day could not be topped, the next day would go and exceed or match that. Memories for a lifetime and I can't wait to return to Nepal someday :)

Nepal Multisport Luxury Adventure

Hi All, my tour choice was a shortened version of the 11 Day Adventure Tour Day 1 - Guided Sightseeing in Kathamndu, amazing to see the old, the damaged, the rebuild, the history, the stories - my highlight of Kathmandu Day 2 - Tranfser to Pokhara including 3 Hours of Rafting, Great Day and the drive is a journey, an eye opener and then you get to this amazing place called Pokhara. Day 3 - Paragliding in the morning, Guided sightseeing in the afternoon, great flight, safe and to see the view from the sky is amazing, highlight of the day for me was again the sightseeing. The guide gave an expert tour of Pokhara, shared the history, it was this tour that gave me a true understanding of the people of Nepal. Day 4 - Trek to Sarangkot, myself, Kate and Ganesh took the uphill walk, I found it challenging but we got to the top and saw the most amazing sunset accross the Annapurna's Day 5 - Early start for the sunrise, amazing skies, what a view, breathtaking. Breakfast then headed to the Bungy Jumping. I can't fault this tour, the company, Ganesh our guide was a legend. The accommodation was clean, the supplied meals were tasty. The office replied promptly to emails and made it easy to be in a new country. I continued my journey up into the Annapurna's. Nepal, Ill be back, it's truly an amazing country with an incredible landscape and people that treat you like a future ambassador to their country. Thank you, Jeff Lancaster - Australia

Bird watching in Nepal (Bardiya National Park)

I could not have been more impressed by Swotah travel. In every way they were superb from the initial enquiries back in 2019 when we had to cancel for personal reasons and the COVID situation. Lesia replied to our enquiries very promptly and clearly. Once in Nepal everything went very smoothly. All transportation from the moment we arrived right through transport to Bardia and then on to Pokhara were flawlessly arranged. Swotah had chosen a good lodge in the park, with an outstanding guide, helpful and friendly staff and great food (the chicken curry was outstanding). Being able to discuss our plans with Ajayi the evening we arrived was so hopeful. Thanks are due, too, to Responsible Travel for suggesting Swotah. We had a private version of this tour where Ramesh went out of his way to help schedule in everything we wanted and answered all my questions very promptly. Everything went according to plan. Accomodation was fine, Our guide Gyanu was like part of the family and he and Ramesh reorganized our itinerary on the fly to help get around road works. Gyanu was there to help us and guide us and make us laugh. We couldnt have done it without him. We loved Nepal and its poeple and culture and scenery. The weather was great and we saw no mosquitoes even in Chitwan. Thank you so much to all involved.

Kathmandu is Nepal’s fascinating capital city. The destination is steeped in history and features a plethora of historic sites, mediaeval temples, local bazaars and traditional villages, all waiting to be explored.

Nepal’s very first national park is Chitwan National Park. It has a particularly rich fauna and flora and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Board a safari adventure to see one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros. The region is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal tiger.

The mighty Mount Everest, or ‘the world’s highest mountain’ is located between Nepal and Tibet. This region is replete with spectacular hiking trails and some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. It is also home to the Gokyo Lakes, a series of sparkling turquoise lakes that can be incorporated into a trek.

Lush forest, river streams and open grasslands make up the unspoiled wilderness of Nepal’s Bardia National Park. This protected area is the largest national park in the Terai region of Nepal. A safari here offers legendary wildlife spotting - leopards, rhinos, elephants and crocodiles are a few of the many species that call the area home.

Dhulikhel is one of Nepal’s most iconic viewpoints. From here, you can bask in unobstructed views of the Himalaya while you go on treks and pass through fascinating local villages. Dhulikhel also makes for a great gateway to the Buddhist pilgrimage site of Namo Buddha monastery and stupa.

I  went to Nepal for trekking with my girlfriend. We had such a good time doing the 2 days Poon Hill Trek in the Annapurna Region of Nepal! We did it in 2 days trip with Mount Glory Treks and Subash was our guide. He was great to have on the trail with us, very good English speaking, well experienced and funny guy and we would recommend him!

Which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Swayambhunath Stupa is located at top of hill which is believed to be around 2500 years old. The four sides structure represents the four elements of earth, fire, wind and water. There are 365 steps passing through which you will reach the holy site or there is option of driving. Pashupatinath Temple is considered one of the holiest place for the Hindus and site is a collection of temples, ashrams, images, inscriptions and the cremation ceremony of the Hindus can be seen along the Bagmati’s river bank. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the oldest and biggest monument built in the Himalayan nation. Explore around the inspiring white dome reverberate with energy; observe and send a prayer where you wish. The Durbar Square of patan holds many old palaces, buildings, temples and statues from medieval times.
