A segment of users wishes to use Safari as a default browser on Windows 10 and 11. This is because of its user-friendly design and speed. Safari runs parallel with popular browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox when it comes to its outstanding performance. However, there is a catch.

Even if you can download Safari on Windows, you risk your system because you can face potential security issues. The overall performance of your PC might even get compromised if you download expired or old versions of the software. Apple, therefore, has discontinued offering Safari as a standalone browser for any other operating system, including Windows.

However, you can install the browser as a substitute browser on any PC that runs the operating system of Microsoft from unofficial online platforms. Concludingly, we can say that there is currently no Safari emulator for Windows.

No Safari emulator is dedicated to running on any version of Windows, be it Windows 10 or 11. However, many websites offer users the option of testing Safari on Windows.

How Can I Test Websites on Safari Without Mac?

Safari has been deemed the second most popular browser in 2022 and is the native default browser of Apple devices. It is an ideal browser for testing any online product or site because of its fast responsiveness.

However, one of the biggest challenges most software testers and website developers face is the lack of a Mac (iMac or Macbook). You are primarily required to have a Mac for both automated and manual testing in the Safari browser because this browser is platform-specific.

To address this problem, you can use the following hacks to test your product on the Safari browser:-

Use a Virtual Machine

You don’t need to worry about not having a Mac to run your tests on the Safari browser. To do so, you can easily conduct them on a Windows local host with the help of a virtual machine by using your PC or system as the server.

Numerous virtual machines are available for you to choose from, and they will run any browser inside Linux or Windows.

All you need to do is configure a handful of settings at the hardware and the software level (choosing the amount of disk space and RAM to allocate to each OS). Your computer, however, needs to have enough power to sustain this configuration.

Use Cross-Browser Testing Tools

It is imperative to run any website on multiple browsers to ensure a smooth-sailing experience for visitors. To overcome the challenge of testing websites on Safari without a Mac, you opt for cross-browser testing tools. These tools will allow you to see how the website functions and looks on multiple browsers in one go. It does not require additional costs and is ideal for testing various websites on Safari.

What Tools Do You Use for Cross-Browser Testing?

How to test for Safari on Windows

"Safari on Windows?", you say. "That's impossible! Safari doesn't run on Windows." And you're right! I mean it used to, but Apple stopped supporting Windows way back in 2012. Which is a bummer for web developers who want to test Safari compatibility.

But... the browser engine Safari uses, WebKit, still supports Windows, probably because iTunes still supports Windows. And Apple even produces Windows builds of WebKit themselves that you can download and use!

There are some other blog posts with instructions for how to do this, but they are a little outdated. Here are the complete steps as of 2022.

  • Download the latest release of WebKitRequirementsWin64.zip
  • Visit Apple's WebKit Buildbot pages . The build you want is WinCairo-64-bit-Release-Build.

Click one of the green numbers

  • After extracting that zip file you will find MiniBrowser.exe inside. But it won't run yet!
  • Go back to the WebKitRequirementsWin64.zip file you downloaded in step 1, take all the files from the bin64 directory and copy them into the same directory as MiniBrowser.exe.

MiniBrowser

You can now test how things might work in Safari from your Windows computer! You can use the Web Inspector from the Develop menu just as in Safari. Unfortunately there's no way to activate the Responsive Design mode, so you won't be able to test for iOS.

There are some differences in feature support between MiniBrowser and Safari, so it's not 100% perfect. But basic things will work the same, so you can test if your CSS layout is working properly or if your mouse event handling code is working correctly, for instance.

Safari is one of the finest web browsers available today and has a large user base. With a lot of features mimicking the iPhone, Apple's Safari browser has redefined the way users have been accessing the Internet. The browser has more than 250 features and a number of characteristic advantages that distinguish it from the other major contemporary browsers like Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer.

Safari has established itself in the market over time and has garnered a loyal user base.

safari windows test

As of October 2018, Safari is the second most popular browser among the users! Well, that makes it quite important for all the business owners and stakeholders to make sure that their business website (or any website, for that matter) performs as expected in the Safari browser.

Although you can install different browsers and perform testing accordingly, you cannot install something that is not compatible with your platform. Here is where the need to use some special tools and techniques sets in. Automatic tools that help us with the testing process are almost mandatory today and a tester’s best friends! Here are the top ways in which you can perform Safari browser testing on Windows.

Installing Safari on a Windows Machine

Well, like everyone else, the first method that you could think of would be to easily install Safari on your Windows machine and get started with the testing process. Smooth enough? But, there is an issue with this method. As Apple launched Safari 6.0 for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, it seems to have suspended all the efforts to continue developing Safari for Windows. Safari 5 is still available for Windows, but it does not make much sense to test your product on a dated version! Does it?

The Windows users may still download and install the browser Safari in its version 5.1.7. The dated version works perfectly fine on Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7. However, being a dated and older web browser version, it does not support any of the new Safari web features. Apart from that, the browser has a number of potential security flaws.

Being a tester, you would always be looking for the latest available software. Hence, this older version is not of much use for you, until you want to specifically test your product on it for theoretical purposes.

Using the Oracle VM Virtualbox

VirtualBox is a free-to-use tool developed by Oracle. The tool lets you run and experiment with a variety of tools and operating systems, which natively cannot be run on your device. The Virtualbox sets up a virtual environment on your device and lets you overcome a lot of incompatibility software issues. In case you want to test your product on Safari browser but do not own a Mac device, you can download the Virtualbox by Oracle and get started with testing on the latest version.

You can easily install Oracle VM Virtualbox on your device and run Safari on it. Download the VirtualBox software along with its extension pack and install the software file followed by running the VirtualBox manager. You need to immediately close it after running it. This will let your system log some necessary information.

VirtualBox is undoubtedly one of the most preferred free tools for virtualization on Windows. However, another point to keep in mind is that the Oracle VM VirtualBox does not still have the official for OS X and you need to download the main program along with the Extension Pack, which will provide you with the much-needed support for USB devices. You may need the Hackboot 1, Hackboot 2 ISO files along with the MultiBeast 4 to get some additional features like audio working fine post installation.

Using Cross-Browser Testing Tools

To make your life easier, a lot of online cross-browser testing tools are available.

With the help of cross-browser testing tools, you can get an on-premise infrastructure of your choice. These tools help you to test on desktop, mobiles, and tablets on various browsers. You can run any browser irrespective of the machine you are using directly in your web browser. All you need to do is just login and you can get a list of machines and browsers out of which you can choose your requirements and you’ll get the desired configuration in your browser itself.

You can even get a mobile(iOS or Android) in your desktop browser. These amazing platforms are a real lifesaver. You can choose from tools like LambdaTest to perform real-time testing of your webpage or application to make sure that it works well irrespective of the platform being used by the user. If you cannot access a particular browser, like Mac users cannot access IE, or Windows users cannot access the latest versions of Safari (in this case), even then tools like LambdaTest come handy.

You can easily make sure that your web application or website is cross-browser compatible with all the versions of Safari browsers even from your Windows machine or test on Internet Explorer from your Mac Machine.

The best part about these tools is you don’t need to install anything. You can access a machine directly from your browser.

This all-in-one testing tool would even allow you to capture automated screenshots and test your locally hosted web pages.

Thus, these were some of the quick methods to test your website on Safari using a Windows machine.

Cross-browser testing is one of the most crucial aspects of development and testing. With a constantly increasing number of browsers, it becomes difficult for the developers to keep a track of all the results and comparisons. The problem becomes even more complex if your local machine does not support a given browser. So with some tips and tricks, you can easily overcome this hurdle and make a cross-browser compatible website.

Happy developing! And...happy testing!

Easily test Safari browser on Windows with Comparium

Cross-browser compatibility is the correct display of the site, that is, readable and unbreakable text that is suitable for most browsers and their versions created for different operating systems.

In order to perform testing, QA testers use specialized tools to reduce the time spent on testing, for example if they need to test Safari on Windows or Windows on Mac, they need to use only one app or online service with no need to maintain farm of devices or use virtual machines.

Try testing for free right now.

Who needs to test safari browser on windows, why is it complicated to perform safari browser testing on windows, is it possible to install safari on windows, using virtual machines to perform safari testing on windows, test safari on windows with the help of cross browser testing tools, how to test safari on windows with comparium, frequently asked questions.

How to test Safari on Windows

Quite often, site owners do not even suspect that their Internet pages can be ideally displayed in one browser and completely incorrect in another, as well as on what devices, operating systems, browsers and their versions their resource is being viewed. It all falls on the shoulders of the QA testers who run different cross browser tests to cover all stages of development. That is why they use different services that allow them not only to test Safari on Windows but also across multiple browsers and OSes no matter the device you use.

Studies have shown that each web browser has a specific target audience. If you do not adapt the layout of your site for different browsers, then there is a risk of losing some of the visitors, each of whom could become a client. The thing is that the site's ability to open in all browsers is very important.

Imagine that your site does not open, for example, in the Safari browser or any other browser. Visitors from these browsers will not be able to view your site. Wondering what does it mean? Well, it means they will never come to you again, this will reduce site traffic, and will also reduce the number of subscribers. Therefore, site owners need to pay attention to cross-browser compatibility. As we all know, if visitors/buyers leave, the less profit you gain.that is why Safari testing on Windows is important as well as Google Chrome on Mac, Opera on Linux, etc.

If you ask, what can be so difficult in performing Safari browser testing on Windows? Well, it seems to be nothing at first glance. All we need is to download Safari to our computer running Windows operating system and start testing your site. Everything is pretty easy and simple, because we can do the same with any other browser on any other operating system, and this is logical. Only here lies the whole problem, which makes Safari testing on Windows complicated.

How to test what is incompatible with your platform and what cannot be downloaded to your computer? The point is that Apple Safari for Windows could not become the main browser on Microsoft systems, so it has not been updated for a long time and is not officially supported by developers.

The latest version for Windows is Safari 5.1.7, released on May 9, 2012. With the release of the 6 version for macOS and iOS, the browser for Windows ceased to exist. Any mention that such a version ever existed has disappeared from Apple's official website. So is it still possible to install Safari browser on Windows? As well as how to test Safari on Windows? Let’s try to figure it out.

install Safari on Windows

Despite the fact that the Safari version for Windows is not already supported by the developers it does not prevent users from installing older versions for Windows 7 and other systems in the Microsoft family as they perfectly work on them. So does it make sense to perform Safari browser testing on Windows if the version of the browser is outdated?

Windows users may download and install Safari for Windows 10, however, they should keep in mind that they will have to use an assembly dated 2012 with all the ensuing consequences: unstable work, lack of modern technologies and the inability to update the program, even more - potential security flaws.

As a QA tester, you often need to test new and modern versions of the browser, with rare exceptions when you need to “delve into the jungle”. Therefore, how to test Safari on Windows safely and most importantly using new versions of the browser?

Different ways of Safari browser testing on Windows

When implementing a virtual infrastructure for web resource development and testing, it is necessary, first of all, to choose the most suitable, reliable and efficient virtualization platform that meets all the requirements for the development process in the organization. While using virtual machines, you will avoid the problem of incompatibility and will allow you to perform Safari testing on Windows without any particular difficulties, both on new versions and on earlier ones.

However, the main disadvantages are the spontaneous deployment of virtual machines generates conflicts in the network infrastructure, lack of control over the use of licenses for operating systems and application software, the impossibility of integration into the existing IT environment of the organization as well as the high cost of solutions.

If you want to test Safari on Windows online or any other browser on any operating system then it is highly recommended to use cross-browsing testing tools. Fortunately, there are many online services for checking any website for cross-browser compatibility. There are free ones that have limitations, there are paid ones with wide functionality and high speed of work.

As we know, if the site is not displayed correctly, does not work correctly in one or several popular browsers, then it is inconvenient to use. Visitors will leave without looking at a single page. Thus, the bounce rate will increase, and, as you know, this behavioral factor in the ranking of sites is of significant importance.

Comparium is an online service that allows users to perform cross-browser testing of their website in order to obtain perfectly working sites on different platforms. It supports many browsers, their versions, operating systems and screen resolutions. With the help of Comparium you can easily check the layout of the site in Safari while using Windows operating system or Linux. The app is very easy-to-use and features all the necessary functionality to perform Safari browser testing on Windows.

test Safari on Windows with Comparium

You can take screenshots across multiple versions of Safari browser, and compare them using 3 manual and one automatic mode of screenshot comparison. For even better user experience you can combine them according to your choice and be sure that no visual bug will not be out of your sight. In addition, to the mentioned above modes, you can upload your own design and compare taken screenshots with it.

take screenshots across multiple versions of Safari browser

It is also worth mentioning that the service offers real time testing that helps in checking the responsiveness and functionality of the site. Unfortunately, to this date this current version doesn’t allow users to run virtual Safari browser testing, however, developers claimed to add this feature in the nearest future (according to the road map it is not the only thing that is coming within the upcoming updates) so you could deepen your testing skills.

Test Safari on Windows with ease while using Comparium, as the main goal of the service is to make complicated testing easier and we should admit that it does the job.

Safari for Windows 10: How To Get and Install It

Plus, why you shouldn't do this

Author avatar

If you use a Mac or an iPhone, it’s hard to pick a different browser over Safari. It’s incredibly fast, uses minimal resources, and respects user privacy. But if you also use a PC, you won’t have the luxury of installing Apple’s flagship browser on Windows since the Cupertino-based tech giant does not develop Safari for the Windows PC. That’s a major issue when your gear consists of cross-platform products.

What you can do is install an older version of Safari on Windows 10 or 11, although we highly advise against that due to compatibility and security-related issues. The best and safest option is to sync your browsing data from Safari to Chrome or Edge on your PC via iCloud for Windows. Setting up macOS on your PC and using Safari that way is another feasible option.

Download and Install Safari on Your Windows PC

Apple halted the development of Safari for Windows in 2012. However, the final version of the browser (Safari v.5.1.7) is freely available on the internet, so you can quickly download and install it on your Windows 10 or 11 PC. The problem? It’s terribly slow and dated, lacks compatibility with most web apps, and poses security risks. You also can’t sync your browsing data, so it’s not a solution if you want to access bookmarks and passwords.

Regardless, the steps below will walk you through downloading and installing Safari on your Windows 10/11 PC. But unless you just want to have a feel of how Safari looked almost a decade earlier, we recommend you stay away from it.

1. Download the Safari installer from a software download portal such as Uptodown , Filehippo , or TechSpot . It weighs in at 36.7MB. Unfortunately, Apple no longer supports Safari for Windows, so you can’t get it from an official source.

2. Double-click the downloaded SafariSetup executable file.

3. Select Next on the Safari Setup’s Welcome screen.

4. Accept the license agreement and select Next .

Safari for Windows 10: How To Get and Install It image 3

5. Specify if you want to add Safari as a desktop shortcut or not. Also, decide if you prefer it as the default browser on your computer (we recommend you don’t select this option). Select Next to continue.

6. Pick an install directory (or leave the default folder path) and select Install .

7. Wait for the Safari installer to finish installing Safari on your computer. Then, select Finish .

After installing Safari, you can choose to open it by double-clicking the Safari icon on the desktop. Or, you can open it by selecting Safari on the Start menu’s programs list.

Despite being almost ten years old, Safari for Windows doesn’t look too out of place. To the top, you have the familiar URL bar (you can’t use it to perform searches, however), a Bookmarks strip underneath, and a dedicated Search bar on the left corner. By default, new tabs display frequently visiting sites in thumbnail format—you can use the Top Sites and History tabs to switch them and your browsing history.

Selecting the cog-shaped icon at the right corner of the screen reveals the Safari menu, where you can choose to customize the toolbar, access your browsing history, launch a private browsing window, and so on.

Selecting Preferences opens the Preferences pane, which provides options to modify the homepage, pick a default search engine, adjust privacy settings, manage extensions (although extensions support is non-existent), etc.

What the browser does not allow is to sign in with an Apple ID. That makes it impossible to sync your browsing data from an iPhone or Mac. Even if the functionality were present previously, Apple probably would’ve stopped you from signing in to it by now.

During our Safari tests on Windows, the browser started showing its age. Most websites took a long time to load, while web apps (such as YouTube and Google Maps) simply failed or prompted us to switch to a compatible browser. Other than for basic web browsing, it was practically useless.

Safari for Windows also hasn’t received security updates in almost a decade, so we recommend that you don’t attempt to use it for any sensitive activities such as banking or shopping.

Sync Safari Browsing Data via iCloud for Windows

If your gear consists of a PC and iPhone or Mac, you can sync your passwords and bookmarks from Safari with Google Chrome and vice-versa by installing iCloud for Windows. That’s the most convenient method for accessing your browsing data on each platform.

iCloud for Windows also offers password syncing for Microsoft Edge and bookmarks syncing for Mozilla Firefox. However, only Chrome receives support for both.

If you don’t have iCloud for Windows on your PC, you can get it via the Microsoft Store or the Apple website . If you already have it, make sure to upgrade it to at least version 12.5 or later (you can do that via the Microsoft Store’s Downloads and updates screen or by running the Apple Software Update applet).

With iCloud for Windows up and running, open the iCloud app and check the boxes next to Passwords and Bookmarks . You can also activate additional iCloud services such as Photos and Drive if you want.

Safari for Windows 10: How To Get and Install It image 10

Follow that by installing the iCloud Passwords on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. The former lets you insert and save passwords to the iCloud Keychain. You can also use the iCloud Passwords app (which installs automatically alongside iCloud for Windows) to manage your passwords in Windows. On the other hand, the iCloud Bookmarks extension syncs passwords between Chrome/Firefox and Safari.

Run Safari via a macOS Virtual Machine

If you want to use the most recent version of Safari on your PC (perhaps to test a feature or extension), the only way you can do that is by running macOS via virtualization software. However, the procedure is not convenient. For starters, Mac’s operating system is not natively supported by most VM software, so installation generally relies on workarounds relying on additional software. Also, it requires lots of free disk space and uses up system resources, not to mention that virtual machine guests generally run sluggishly compared to the host operating system.

If you still want to go ahead and install macOS, the easiest way to do that is by following the instructions within this macOS Virtualbox project on GitHub. It lets you install macOS Catalina as a virtual machine via a Bash script. We’ve condensed it into the following steps:

1. Download and install Oracle VM VirtualBox on your PC (it’s free).

2. Download and install Cygwin with the following dependencies (you can select them during installation).

3. Download the macos-guest-virtualbox.sh bash script from GitHub.

4. Open the Cygwin Terminal. Then, drag and drop the bash script and press Enter .

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up macOS as a virtual machine on your PC.

Safari for Windows 10: How To Get and Install It image 11

After the setup procedure, you can open and use Safari by selecting the Safari icon on the Mac’s Dock. Before you do that, however, it’s a good idea to update macOS and Safari. To do that, open the Apple menu and select System Preferences > Software Update > Update Now .

iCloud for Windows Is the Most Convenient

Although it’s possible to download and install Safari on your Windows 10/11 computer, we recommend you stray away from it. The security risks alone make it impractical, and it’s not like you can use it for any serious web browsing anyway due to compatibility issues.

Since the most likely reason you would want to install Safari involves syncing your passwords and bookmarks, using iCloud for Windows is the only viable alternative. But if you do have the time and just want to try out the latest version of Safari, your best option is to set up macOS as a virtual machine on your PC.

Testing in Safari without a Mac

iCapture by Daniel Vine is a service I would have sold my granny for if it had been available before I switched to using a Mac. It allows anyone to enter the URL of a site and download a screenshot of that site as viewed in Safari, with other Mac specific browsers on the way. And unlike BrowserCam , it’s a free service!

For a less accurate but more flexible alternative PC users might want to check out KDE 3.2. Released last week , this new version of the popular Linux desktop environment includes an updated version of Konqueror which incorporates many of the improvements to the KHTML engine made by the Safari development team. Konqueror certainly won’t provide a perfect environment for Safari compatibility testing but it’s better than nothing. Best of all, as soon as Knoppix is updated to include KDE 3.2 PC users will be able to test with the latest version of Konqueror without having to install Linux first.

Windows 11: Gamepad Keyboard ist im Test

Avatar-Foto

Microsoft testet mal wieder Neuerungen.

Diablo 4 Season 4 changed the loot itemization in a huge way as well as adding new endgame content, but Season 6 is about to make all of that look like a hotfix. Season 6 starts on October 8 on the same day as the launch of Vessel of Hatred, Diablo 4's first new expansion which also adds a new class to the game, the Spiritborn . The PTR goes live at some point today, as yet unannounced, but generally it happens around 11 a.m. PT /  2 p.m. ET. While you wait though, if you've never played a PTR before you can download it right now before the doors open .  The new class changes, difficulty updates and addition of Runewords can also be read in full in the Patch 2.0 notes ahead of accessing .  It's also worth noting that due to the amount of changes being tested in Patch 2.0 PTR, it is split into two tranches. From September 4 to September 6, players will be testing the new levelling systems only. From September 6 to September 11 they will be able to test everything else.

How do I start the Diablo 4 PTR?

You'll need to own Diablo 4 or have Xbox Game Pass and be using a PC to access the Diablo 4 PTR. It's not currently available for console users. Though in our interview with Rod Fergusson we were told they are looking into console access for the future.

Diablo 4 PTR

  • Open the Battle.net launcher.
  • Navigate to Diablo 4.
  • In the bottom left corner, select the dropdown and you'll find Public Test Realm.
  • Click Install.
  • Click Play and select a test server.
  • Create a test character (create a Seasonal one for anything related to the Seasonal themes)
  • Skip Campaign if you started anew.

If you are an Xbox Game Pass player on PC, you can access the PTR through the Xbox app and follow the same steps above. From today until September 6, you will be focussing on levelling a character and testing this new process. The level cap is now 60 for all characters with new paragon boards and new class skills for each class. From September 6, you will able to test the endgame mechanics and thus be able to boost a character using the Boost NPC found in Kyovashad.

Diablo 4 in-game screenshot showing NPC in Kyovashad

Additionally using the Boost NPC you can  do the following:

  • Level your character to max there are options to increase from 50 to 60.
  • Complete the Map including Strongholds, Waypoints and Fog of War.
  • Complete your class mechanic.
  • Unlock all Torment tiers (the new difficulty levels).
  • Fully upgrade your potion.
  • Max all Aspects in your Codex.
  • Max all Paragon Glyphs.
  • Generate Legendaries.
  • Grant all Uniques.
  • Grant all Runes.
  • Grant all Temper Manuals.
  • Grant all Materials, Gold and Obols.
  • Upgraded Potions.

These commands above can be ran all at once on your character or individually. Nothing from the PTR will be carried over to your main game when the PTR ends.

What can I test in the Diablo 4 PTR?

Diablo 4 new difficulty tiers

Diablo 4 Patch 2.0 will include all of the changes we have already seen in Season 4 and Season 5 , such as the new Helltides and Infernal Hordes, Tempering but with some new recipes, and some new Mythic Uniques . The biggest changes though are that World Tiers as a measure of difficulty are gone, and the new difficulty levels are measured as Normal, Hard, Expert, Penitent followed by Torment difficulties 1-4. You will be testing this as well as the new character progression systems and levelling, with a new level cap of 60 and new skills and gear for each class.

All of this, and more can be seen in the Patch 2.0 notes and the developers have noted that due to the volume of changes some things will be broken, that's the nature of testing!

Tata Harrier, Safari bag Global NCAP Safer Choice Award 2024

Tata motors received the safer choice award 2024 from global ncap..

Tata Safari Harrier

Tata Motors received the Safer Choice Award 2024 from Global NCAP. Last year, the Harrier and the Safari scored the highest Global NCAP rating in crash tests of 5 star for adult and child occupant protection.

After receiving the award, Mohan Savarkar, Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited said, “We are proud to have received the Global NCAP Safer Choice Award for our flagship SUVs, the Tata Safari and Tata Harrier. We have continued to be the pioneers in driving the safety conversation – ensuring that our commitment reflects in every vehicle we manufacture, regardless of price point.

Mohan Savarkar receiving award from David Ward

Tata Motors had submitted the Safari and Harrier for further Safer Choice conformity tests, with the model’s meeting performance and volume requirements for Autonomous Emergency Breaking (AEB), speed assistance and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) systems.

Tata Harrier, Safari: 5-star safety

Last year, the Safari and Harrier achieved the highest Global NCAP score for adult and child occupant safety in GNCAP crash tests. The voluntary tests are amongst the final results in the campaign ahead of Bharat NCAP’s forthcoming activation.

Even though Safari and Harrier are based on the same vehicle platform, the former is the three-row seater while the Harrier is a five-seater SUV and comes standard with six airbags and ESC. Both achieved a top star rating for adult and child occupants showing a stable structure and robust restraint systems strategy which offered good protection in our tests.

Global NCAP’s crash test protocols assess frontal and side impact protection for all models, as well as Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Pedestrian protection and side impact pole protection assessments are required for vehicles scoring the highest star ratings.
