Miguel’s 2023 tour officially kicked off Aug. 3 in Buenos Aires, Argentina , with the singer performing over 50 songs from his vast catalog, including timeless hits such as “La incondicional,” “Ahora te puedes marchar,” and “Hasta que me olvides.” 

The highly-anticipated tour is Miguel’s first outing since his 2018-2019 México por Siempre tour, which grossed $101.4 million and sold 965,000 tickets across 116 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. It was the highest grossing  Latin  tour in Boxscore history until last year when  Bad Bunny ‘s El Último Tour del Mundo and World’s Hottest Tour surpassed it.

The México por Siempre tour coincided with the first season of Luis Miguel: The Series , based on Miguel’s life and premiering in April 2018. The second and third seasons of the series streamed on Netflix in 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, heightening interest in Miguel and his catalog, despite the fact that he hasn’t released a studio album since 2017’s ¡Mexico Por Siempre !

Luis Miguel Tour 2024 tickets go on presale Thursday, Aug. 10 at 10 am ET, and all tickets will go on sale Aug. 11 for the U.S.

Ticket sales in other countries will be announced individually.

One record after another! This is Luis Miguel , a music legend. With more than 65 sold-out concerts all over Latin America and the United States, ‘El Sol de Mexico’ is ready for more. This new announcement includes stops in new places: Europe, Central, and South America, the United States, and Canada.

Marcel Quijoli , Luis Miguel’s manager recentely revealed that the artist is facing one of the most prolific moments in his career. He also made it clear that more tour dates would become available thanks to all his fans. “From what I can see, Luis Miguel is facing an extraordinary moment. His career is in an extraordinary moment, he’s composing, he’s producing new music, he’s working hard,” said Quijoli.

He is an extraordinary singer and still got what it takes to be a great performer. The show was supposed to start at 8:30pm but it began at almost 10pm which was not nice for us, the audience, but still it was worth the wait. 5 thumbs up

It's pretty pathetic when an artist of this caliber makes his packed house wait for one hour and 20 minutes before he showed his face and then didn't so much as utter a word of apology or gratitude of our patience. This reeks of disrespect and while the show was quite entertaining at various times, this artist's energy and self-centeredness will prevent me from ever buying another ticket to one of his shows...

This was one of the best concerts from Luis Miguel. He was fabulous! Su voz no ha cambiado sigue siendo el mejor. El lugar espectacular. Mickey mi idolo. Canto un poco de todo, desde sus inicios hasta lo nuevo. Espero verlo pronto aqui en Washington DC.

After strong sales of the 65 dates of his  Luis Miguel Tour 2023,  which will play until the end of the year, Latin superstar  Luis Miguel  will extend his trek through 2024.

The Mexican singer will play 50 additional dates next year, making stops in Central and South America, the United States, Canada and Europe.

Iconic Latin singer Luís Miguel has announced he'll be embarking on a fall 2023 tour across America behind his most recent album ¡México Por Siempre! . The 24-date outing kicks off September 15th in Las Vegas and runs into November making additional stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Miami, Washington DC, Elmont and Dallas. Also during the year, the vocalist will be heading over to South/Central America for additional performances.

UPDATE: Tour dates have been extended into 2024 visiting cities like Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal, Rosemont, Brooklyn and Miami.

Miguel released his 20th studio album ¡México Por Siempre! on November 24th, 2017 via Warner Music Latina. His previous self-titled 2010 album reached #1 on Billboard's Latin and Latin Pop charts and was certified Diamond in Mexico. Also in 2010, the singer-songwriter launched his Luís Miguel Tour which consisted of 223 shows across the Americas and Europe into 2013. Miguel has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has won four Latin Grammy Awards and five Grammy Awards.

Luis Miguel officially kicked off his much-anticipated 2023 tour last night in Argentina (Aug. 3). The fans of El Sol de México are excited to see the iconic artist make his grand return to the stage.

The last time Luismi performed in concerts was back in 2019 on the México Por Siempre Tour. In April, he announced that he was returning with the Luis Miguel Tour 2023. The ambitious tour will see him perform 66 concerts in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and the U.S. The singer launched the tour on Thursday night at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.

For the first of 10 shows in Buenos Aires, Luis Miguel performed most of his biggest hits. Among the 28 songs on the setlist, he sang his classics like “Hasta Que Me Olvides,” “Amor, Amor, Amor,” and “La Incondicional.” He also performed a medley of his oldies, including “ Ahora Te Puedes Marchar ,” “Cuando Calienta El Sol,” and “La Chica del Bikini Azul.” He paid tribute to Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra as well by singing the duets that he recorded with them. And, of course, Luis Miguel also proudly represented Mexico with his mariachi performance of “Cucurrucucú Paloma.” 

A lot of videos have surfaced from Luis Miguel’s first show of his comeback tour. His fans were happy to see the 53-year-old singer bring down the house with his powerhouse performances. “El Sol shining last night Argentina, Luis Miguel I love you,” wrote one person on Twitter in Spanish. “It’s too good to be true how Luis Miguel looks,” wrote another person. “Attitude and movements as if we were in the 90’s. The biggest icon of Spanish music is back.”

The U.S. leg of the Luis Miguel Tour 2023 kicks off during Mexican Independence Day weekend (Sep. 15) at the Dolby Live Theater in Las Vegas, NV. Due to the high demand to see him live, many of Luis Miguel’s concerts quickly sold out.

After strong sales of the 65 dates of his  Luis Miguel Tour 2023,  which will play until the end of the year, Latin superstar Luis Miguel will extend his trek through 2024,  Billboard  can exclusively reveal.

The Mexican singer will play 50 additional dates next year, making stops in Central and South America, the United States, Canada and Europe.

Luis Miguel Tour 2024  will officially kick off in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic on Jan. 20, 2024, and will go to Central and South America before circling back to the U.S., April 4 in Seattle, WA. He’ll then play 32 dates, ending June 16 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The shows will be produced by CMN and Fenix, who are also producing the current leg of the tour.

Miguel’s 2023 tour officially kicked off Aug. 3 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the singer performing over 50 songs from his vast catalog, including timeless hits such as “La incondicional,” “Ahora te puedes marchar,” and “Hasta que me olvides.” 

The highly-anticipated tour is Miguel’s first outing since his 2018-2019  México por Siempre  tour, which grossed $101.4 million and sold 965,000 tickets across 116 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. It was the highest grossing  Latin  tour in Boxscore history until last year when  Bad Bunny ‘s  El Último Tour del Mundo  and  World’s Hottest Tour  surpassed it.

The  México por Siempre  tour coincided with the first season of  Luis Miguel: The Series , based on Miguel’s life and premiering in April 2018. The second and third seasons of the series streamed on Netflix in 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, heightening interest in Miguel and his catalog, despite the fact that he hasn’t released a studio album since 2017’s  ¡Mexico Por Siempre !

Luis Miguel Tour 2024  tickets go on presale Thursday, Aug. 10 at 10 am ET, and all tickets will go on sale Aug. 11 for the U.S.

Ticket sales in other countries will be announced individually.

What Is Luis Miguel’s Next Tour?

The “Luis Miguel Tour 2024” will follow the lengthy 2023 global live series that has whisked “El Sol de Mexico” across North and South America and extends though the end of the year. It concludes with a stretch of December performances in his native Mexico.

The “La Incondicional” singer’s 2024 run kicks off in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on January 20th, followed by stops in Puerto Rico, Guatemala, and El Salvador to close out the first month. He opens February in Honduras and continues through Central America to Nicaragua and Costa Rica before reaching Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru by the end of the month. In March, he plays in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Brazil before wrapping his South American leg in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on March 28th.

Miguel’s 2024 North American leg begins in Seattle on April 4th, then swings to Portland, Oregon and California for five consecutive shows between Sacramento, San Francisco, Fresno, San Jose, and Los Angeles. The Netflix star hits Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and more before jetting to Texas for a whopping seven stops including Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio. He heads to Canada for performances in Toronto and Montreal, then returns to the U.S. for headlining spots in Chicago on May 30th; Brooklyn, New York on June 1st; and Miami on June 8th. After marquee appearances in New Orleans and Nashville, Miguel closes his 2024 world tour in Greensboro, North Carolina on June 16th.

Christian Nodal: The Heartthrob of Latin Music

An artist making significant strides on the old continent is Nodal, whose unique blend of mariachi and modern sounds has garnered a massive following around the world.

Nodal's European tour included three massive shows in Zurich, Paris, and London, where he had an incredible sold-out show.

Next stops include Madrid, where he will perform at the WiZink Center on July 5, Barcelona at the Palau Sant Jordi on July 12, and Marbella on July 13. Nodal's European stint ends at the Milano Latin Festival, in Italy, on July 19.

On June 6, the king of mariacheño debuted a new song called "Kbron y Medio" and released an accompanying music video where Nodal sings about heartbreak and infidelity. Soon after the release of the track the news of his relationship with Aguilar created quite a stir.

Karol G is transforming European cities in Latin towns

Karol G's European tour has been a massive success, with tickets flying off the shelves for her concerts. The Colombian reggaeton star has captured the hearts of fans globally. Her two concerts at London's O2 Arena were standout events, selling out within minutes. She was recognized there as the artist who had achieved sold-out status the fastest in the history of the iconic venue.

Fans were treated to an electrifying performance that featured a blend of her biggest hits and stunning visuals. El Sol will rise in Europe

Luis Miguel started the European leg of his tour on June 28th in Córdoba, Spain. He has a total of 21 dates in the country , including an unexpected stint at Real Madrid's stadium Santiago Bernabeu. The rest of his concerts are in enclosed venues.

According to Pollstar, Luis Miguel' s tour is among the three more profitable this year in the Americas. It's hard to imagine he won't achieve the same results in Europe.

Por supuesto, en ciudades como Miami, 'El Sol' abrirá más de dos fechas dentro del Luis Miguel Tour 2024 ; y no sólo proque es uno de sus lugares predilectos para el verano, sino porque además, es allí en donde también residen miles de sus fans más fieles.

Luis Miguel kicks off tour and proves he’s still buzzworthy

While the Latin music world has been recently dominated by the reggaeton beats of Bad Bunny and Karol G and the regional Mexican styles of Peso Pluma and Fuerza Regida, a legendary name kicked off his long-awaited tour last week in Argentina.

Luis Miguel opened his world tour in Buenos Aires on Thursday. His 10-show runat the Movistar Arena concludes Aug. 18. According to local media reports, tickets to all of his shows have sold out, signaling a triumphant return for “El Sol de Mexico,” who hasn’t toured since 2019.

After 10 shows in Santiago, Chile, from Aug. 21 to Sept. 6, Luis Miguel will start the U.S. leg of his tour with three shows in Las Vegas in September during Mexican Independence weekend. He will spend a good amount of time in Southern California as well with shows in Anaheim (Sept. 20), San Diego (Sept. 21), Inglewood (Sept. 24), Ontario (Sept. 27) and Palm Desert (Sept. 30).

One aspect that has been covered widely by the Argentinian media has been the heightened security that has surrounded Luis Miguel since his arrival. Videos on social media have shown his motorcade being escorted to and from the airport and his hotel, which has been surrounded by fans.

There has also been lots of commentary on Luis Miguel’s appearance upon his return to the stage. The 53-year-old singer has sported a much slimmer look than the last time he performed in public.

After several years away from the spotlight, Luis Miguel was reintroduced to a new generation of fans through the Netflix series “Luis Miguel: The Series.” Fans who might have had only a casual understanding of Luis Miguel through their parents’ CDs were given a survey of his life — from child star to superstar.

Videos posted on social media show an artist who is still at the top of his game, with a strong voice and the backing of a 42-piece orchestra that includes 14 members of Mariachi Vargas Tecalitlan.

With resale tickets selling for well over $1,000 in the United States and with 23 songs at over 100 million streams, a record for a Latin music act, it is clear that Luis Miguel isn’t ready to give up his crown to the next generation just yet.
