Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series Comes to Netflix

Ash, goh, and chloe’s adventures continue in the 25th season of pokémon the series . watch the trailer now.

T he stakes are higher than ever for Ash, Goh, and Chloe as they advance toward their goals in the 25th season of Pokémon the Series . The first 12 episodes of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series come to Netflix on October 21 in the United States, continuing the trio’s adventures as research fellows and Trainers at Cerise Laboratory in Kanto. As the Pokémon World Coronation Series heats up, intensive training is in store for Ash, Pikachu, and their Pokémon friends.

The Pokémon Company International has announced when U.S. fans will be able to watch the next batch of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series episodes.

The beloved anime series will return to Netflix on Feb. 24 with Part 2 of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series . The new batch of episodes will not only conclude Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu’s 25-season journey but see the fan-favorite Pokémon trainer become the World Champion, a feat the character has been trying to reach since the anime first premiered back in 1997. Additional episodes of Ultimate Journeys , including a special collection sending off Ash Ketchum, will be released on Netflix at a later date.

After Pokémon revealed that Ash Ketchum's story was coming to a close, the iconic character's voice actor, Sarah Natochenney , released a tribute on Twitter that read: "It’s been an extraordinary privilege to have been the English voice of Ash Ketchum for what will be 17 years. No matter what lies beyond his final chapter, he’ll live forever in the hearts of many generations to come. Cheers to new beginnings!"

She later expanded her thoughts on the character's retirement, saying in a December 2022 interview, " If I could speak as Ash Ketchum , I would say what Sarah Natochenny would say, and that is to quote Jason Page's song, 'Be the best like no one ever was.'" She added, entreating fans, "And do it with love. Don't be cutthroat. Don't step on people to get what you want, but know what your goals are and do them to the best of your ability. Do them with passion and do them while also loving the people around you and being kind."

The Next Pokémon Series Will Feature New Protagonists

Ash Ketchum's time as the franchise protagonist may be over, but Pokémon itself isn't going anywhere. The beloved property has already announced a follow-up series to Ultimate Journeys , which will be set in Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region. The unnamed anime will focus on two protagonists, named Riko and Roy in the Japanese version, as they embark on incredible journeys and "unravel the mysteries of the Pokémon world, experiencing everything from exciting Trainer battles to fun Pokémon encounters." A teaser trailer for the upcoming Pokémon series was also released, showcasing the three Paldean starter Pokémon, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, in addition to a shiny Rayquaza. The new Pokémon animated series will premiere in April 2023 in Japan.

Fans can keep up with Ash and Pikachu's journey on Feb. 24 when the rest of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series becomes available to stream on Netflix.

Pokemon Ultimate Journeys Part 3 Is Now On Netflix!

Pokemon Ultimate Journeys has been the culmination of Ash Ketchum’s “world tour.” But all tours must come to an end. Netflix has been VERY slow in releasing these new episodes, but at last, Part 3 is here, and that means you can watch the rest of the Pokemon Master Class battles! That’s right, Ash will be going up against three of the best that the world has to offer, and he’ll need to rely on his skills and Pokemon like never before if he wants to be the champion!

To be clear, yes, Pokemon Ultimate Journeys is the “ending” to the mainline anime in the Pokemon world that’s been going on for decades. However, it’s already been confirmed that Ash’s epilogue journey will eventually come to the West so we can say goodbye properly alongside some old friends. Pokemon Ultimate Journeys Part 3 Coming Next Month To Netflix

A Championship Battle!

It’s a unique time to be a fan of the  Pokemon  anime. At the time of this writing, Ash Ketchum has already finished his journey as Japan has aired the final episodes of his time in the world. But, just as important, they’ve already launched the “ sequel series ” that focuses on new characters, Pokemon, rivals, etc. But, for those in the West who have been waiting on the dubbed episodes of the final episodes, you’re in luck. Today, The Pokemon Company and Netflix dropped a brief teaser trailer for the final episodes of  Pokemon Ultimate Journeys . They will be the ones that wrap up Ash’s time in the World Coronation Series.

We’ll give you a brief recap for those who don’t recall where things ended last time. Ash made it into the Masters 8, the highest class in the World Coronation Series. As such, he would be able to head to Galar so that he could face off against some of the best trainers in all the Pokemon world. The series started off with Leon, Diantha, and Cynthia getting victories, with Ash getting ready to take the stage against Steven Stone. So when the anime continues, it’ll be Ash’s turn to fight for the first time in the championship series.

Many are excited to see these battles because we know how things will go regarding both battles and victories. That includes Ash facing his longtime friend and ally in Cynthia and then having the climatic showdown with Leon that the series has been building toward.

However, that’s not all. Project Mew is still ongoing in the episodes, and they’ll happen alongside Ash’s final battles. So Goh will have his hands full, too, as the final episodes play out.

But, while these are the final episodes in this series, you might recall that Ash’s journey had one more part to them. The final episodes that allowed Ash to say goodbye have already been released in Japan, but The Pokemon Company did confirm that they will arrive in the US. However, they didn’t say when that would be. So, we may have to wait a few more months for that last batch.

There’s also no word on when the sequel series will come to Japan, but traditionally, there’s always a gap between when Japan drops the episodes and when they’re localized.

New Pokémon anime episodes streaming on Netflix in February

New episodes of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series will debut on Netflix on Feb. 24, The Pokémon Company confirmed Tuesday. It’s the second part of the series’ drop in English on Netflix, whereas the season is just about concluded in Japan. Because of that, we know this is Ash Ketchum’s last starring anime season after winning the Pokemon World Coronation Series .

There are 51 episodes total to the 25th season, including the bonus episodes that bring Ash back with his pals from past adventures. Only 12 have aired on Netflix so far, and The Pokémon Company hasn’t confirmed how many make up the second drop. Assuming Part 2 is another 12 episodes, Pokémon fans will have to wait a bit to watch Ash’s big win on Netflix. The Pokémon Company said news of the next batches of episodes will come at “a later date.”

The Pokémon Company declined to clarify how many episodes would come to Netflix in February.

The second batch of episodes will kick off as Ash and his traveling partner Goh make their way through the World Coronation Series, likely right up to the last episode before the Masters Eight Tournament begins. Beyond the main series, The Pokémon Company also has a special bonus series of episodes that “serve as an expression of gratitude from Pokémon to all the fans who have joined Ash and Pikachu along the way” — reuniting Ash with Brock and Misty, among others.

Once the Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series anime ends, The Pokémon Company will debut a brand new series starring new protagonists (Liko and Roy) alongside Sprigatito, Quaxley, and Fuecoco from last year’s Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet . The new series is expected to be released in 2023.

Update: The Pokémon Company declined to clarify how many episodes would come to Netflix in February. This story has been updated to include this information.

I’m the kind of consumer who gets into the music of a particular band and that’s all I listen to, nonstop, for an extended period. Same with TV shows; there aren’t a lot that I truly love, but the ones that hook me for whatever reason, like HBO’s epic mafia drama Gomorrah , I watch over and over again. And the same is also true for video games — I’m not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination, but there have been a few here and there, like Ustwo Games’ Monument Valley franchise, that I’ve played so many times.

I can’t even pinpoint a single reason why I love the Monument Valley games so much. First and foremost, they’re visually stunning. The soundtrack is an ambient, sonic wonderland. There’s also a minimal yet captivating storyline, in which the protagonist Ida goes on a quest through ethereal landscapes to atone for having stolen the land’s “sacred geometry.” In Monument Valley 2 , a different protagonist named Ro guides her young daughter through a similarly fantastical world — and soon, thanks to Netflix , fans like me are about to have an all new Monument Valley to dive into.

Of course, the familiar gameplay mechanic that Monument Valley fans know and love is still here. You’ll still have to line up staircases, turn platforms according to geometric patterns, and navigate incredible optical illusions. In fact, while the game was a revelation when it first debuted back in 2014 on iOS devices, it still looks (at least to me) as fresh and inventive as ever.

‘Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series’ Part 2 is Coming to Netflix in February 2023

Part 2 of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series will be coming to Netflix soon.

Part 1 of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys arrived on Netflix in October 2022. Fans who have waited patiently for the release of part 2 won’t have to wait much longer, as it’s coming to Netflix in February 2023.

Pokémon Ultimate Journeys  is the 25th season of the Pokémon anime and the third season of the Pokémon Journeys story overall.

Ultimate Journeys will continue the adventures of Ash and Goh, with the former continuing to rise through the ranks of the World Coronation Series, and the latter continuing his work on Project Mew.

The timeline of the Pokémon Journeys series so far;
