Money Saving Amy: Go wild with offer on Safari Park family fun

Hello everyone. If you’re looking for a fab day out in March, I’ve got an offer that’s too good to miss for you.

And with Easter fast approaching I’ve got some egg-cellent ways to save money.

If you love West Midlands Safari Park, but not the price tag that comes with it, well you’re in luck.

Until March 22 you can get buy one get one free on entrance tickets, to enjoy the drive through and walk through attractions that the safari park has to offer, including the new walk up viewing spots for exciting animals such as the giraffes.

This offer means that two people can visit for just £32, making it only £16 per person, and under twos go free.

If you’re not able to visit during this offer period, did you know you can use your Tesco Clubcard points towards ticket costs at West Midlands Safari Park?

Clubcard points double in value when used at one of their many partner attractions or restaurants. Which is fab for a cheap day out.

Now that Easter is fast approaching, keep your eyes peeled for the supermarket egg price drops.

They will all be competing between now and Easter for your custom and that means reductions, so don’t pay full price for your eggs, make sure you bag a bargain.

You can easily check prices online and did you know Tesco and Sainsbury’s have online stock checkers that make it handy to know if your local store has what you’re looking for.

Plus, of course, don’t forget to grab a cashback gift card from Jam Doughnut, or Top Cashback to get even more discount on your eggs.

If your little ones love making Easter cards, you don’t need to break the budget to buy these, you could turn their painted hand prints or foot prints into a whole host of cute cards, like bunny’s out of footprints, or chicks out of handprints.

Easter bonnets can be picked up really cheaply from budget shops like Poundland, that have a fab range of Easter bonnets and decorations.

A craft I’ll be doing with my little ones is cutting out some egg shapes from cardboard, letting them decorate them and then sticking them together in a circle to make a wreath, pop a bit of ribbon on it and you have a cheap, handmade wreath for an Easter decoration.

If you love a freebie, then don’t forget to head to Marks and Spencer and donate an old item of clothing to their Shwop box in return for a pack of sweets, they now have their Easter sweets in so that’s a tasty bag of Easter sweets totally free! The item of clothing can be any clothing, it doesn’t have to be from Marks and Spencer.

ADVENTURE THEME PARK

Adventure theme park.

The Adventure Theme Park offers a mix of rides for all ages, from gentle family attractions to thrilling experiences.  Open daily during the Park's summer season*, it also features game stands and an arcade , making it a perfect addition to the Park’s animal encounters for a fun-filled day.

Rides are charged extra in all cases.

*February half term until October half term.

Please note: If your child is under 3 but tall enough to go on the rides, they will still need a wristband or ride tickets. These can be purchased on the day of your visit. If a child requires accompaniment, this is on a 1:1 basis.

Important information.

• We operate a time board system during off-peak dates (weekdays outside of school holidays), with rides running for 30 minutes before closing and then reopening 30 minutes later.  

Wristband and ride ticket prices are charged in addition to Park admission. Everyone, including under 3s, will need a wristband or ride tickets to go on the rides, if they meet the minimum height requirements.  

• If the ride requires 1:1 accompaniment of a child due to their height, each child would need to be accompanied by at least one person who meets the height requirements. On water rides, this person must be a person over the age of 18.

Wristbands and ride tickets are available to purchase separately on the day of your visit, from the Adventure Theme Park. Wristbands and ride tickets are only valid on the day of purchase and no refunds are available.

Wristbands must be fitted by the cashier at the point of purchase, are non-transferable and invalid if removed.

The Wristband Office will close one hour before the Theme Park rides close.

Safety Info

A shirt must be worn by all guests wishing to go on any of our Theme Park rides, and must remain on whilst on the rides.

Shoes must also be worn at all times to access our Theme Park rides. If you are wearing loose footwear (flip flops/sandals etc.), our ride operator will attend and advise where to leave your shoes on certain rides.

Long sleeved shirts must be worn if a guest would like to go on ‘Slippery Snake Slide’.

All guests must also be able to sit up and hold on unaided when on any ride.

We will issue an Essential Companion Wristband free of charge when accompanying the guest requiring support has purchased a wristband. You will need to show your Essential Companion Admission Ticket again at the Wristband Office. Tesco boss announces £24 change for anybody who uses a Clubcard

Supermarket giant Tesco has issued an important update that affects anyone who has a Clubcard.

The retailer has updated its Clubcard scheme to include three-months worth of streaming service Disney +.

From August 2 nd , Tesco is offering Clubcard holders the opportunity to exchange just £8 worth of Clubcard vouchers for a full three-month subscription to the popular streaming service Disney+.

With a value of £23.97 (£7.99/month), the three-month subscription is available to both existing and new Disney+ customers, in exchange for just £8 worth of reward vouchers, meaning Tesco Clubcard holders can unlock three times the value of their vouchers to watch record-breaking blockbusters and binge-worthy series.

The home of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star, Disney+ is available to stream on up to four screens in the home at once from a single account, meaning everyone in the family can watch exactly what they want to this summer through this exclusive Clubcard reward.

Tesco Chief Customer Officer, Alessandra Bellini said: “We’ve heard from many of our Clubcard holders that they would like to be able to use their vouchers with a popular streaming service. We’re therefore delighted to be able to offer Disney+ as a Reward Partner, giving Clubcard holders the power to keep the whole family entertained for less, and just in time for the long summer holiday too.”

Tesco Clubcard is free to join and gives members the chance to collect points when shopping in store or online at Tesco. These points can be exchanged on the Clubcard website or App for vouchers, which can be used for money off their grocery shopping or redeemed for up to 3x their value with one of over a hundred Reward Partners and used to pay for days out, dining out and more.

Clubcard holders can also enjoy additional benefits such as Clubcard Prices - exclusive deals that are unlocked when qualifying products are purchased as part of an online Tesco shop or in store, when a Clubcard or the Clubcard App is scanned at checkout.
