Taylor Swift's reign continues with the latest leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter kicked off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift released her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, and the Swiftie hype has continued throughout the summer.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options. You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resumed on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. Multiple shows have age restrictions for younger kids and specifics on seating and adult accompaniment. A few venues require that a ticketholder's ID matches the name on the tickets, and others have varying policies on resale. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

How to buy tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Original standard tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 sold out long ago for both international and domestic dates. All US tickets and many international tickets were sold through Ticketmaster , although select international locations used different services. 

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

On StubHub, UK tour dates come with a note that ticket terms don't permit resale through unauthorized channels and might not be valid for entry. If this ends up being the case, StubHub notes that its FanProtect Guarantee will cover purchasers.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. Some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest remaining European listings range from £524 (London, England on August 15) to £616 (London, England on August 17). In USD, this equates to about $669 and $786. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest listings for these dates go for $508 and $569, respectively. Prices on both platforms have dropped significantly for the final UK dates.

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,637 (Toronto, Canada, on November 23) to $2,691 (Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 2). Most of the cheapest tickets are priced between $1,600 and $2,300. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets on these dates start at $1,787 and $2,451, respectively. The two resale vendors generally have similarly priced offerings, but this varies from show to show.

Who is opening for Taylor Swift's tour?

Taylor Swift has a variety of opening acts, from up-and-coming singers to established groups. Opening acts vary by date. For the European leg of the tour, Paramore is opening for Swift. In the US and Canada, Gracie Abrams will be the opening act. Earlier in the tour, Swift had Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, MUNA, HAIM, and more open for her.

Will Taylor Swift add more dates to the Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift has already added additional stops to her tour due to popular demand, including her US tour dates this fall. She also added additional dates to some of her European city stops, including bonus performances in France and the United Kingdom, among other locations.

During her 100th show, a mid-June performance in Liverpool, Swift acknowledged that the tour would conclude in December. "The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I've ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December," Swift told the crowd in a moment that was widely captured and posted across social media. This statement means that the Eras Tour is unlikely to extend past 2024, but we'll keep this guide updated if Swift announces any changes (or additions) to her tour lineup.

Were any tour dates canceled?

Taylor Swift was originally scheduled to play three Eras Tour shows from August 9 to 11, 2024, in Vienna, Austria. However, the shows were canceled after Austrian officials confirmed that multiple individuals were  arrested on suspicion of planning an attack  at one of the shows. As of August 12, no other Eras Tours performances have been canceled. 

Is The Tortured Poets Department a part of the Eras Tour?

It's good news for fans of "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift's new album that dropped on April 19, 2024. Swift is incorporating several of the new tracks into the Eras Tour, as evidenced by the first shows of her European leg. "The Tortured Poets Department" songs currently featured on tour include "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Since the Eras Tour is already pretty long, this means that Swift is also cutting down a few songs from past Eras that previously made the tour setlist. The songs that were removed from the setlist include "The Archer," "Long Live," "The 1," "The Last Great American Dynasty," "'Tis the Damn Season," and "Tolerate It."

For some, forking over four digits for a concert is just too much, but for others, the experience is worth the money.

Gabrielle Lask isn’t normally a big spender, but when she had an opportunity to purchase two tickets to Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour for $4,000, the Swiftie just couldn’t “shake off” the chance to see the singer with her mom.

“It’s so much money,” Lask says. “I honestly don’t think I’ve ever spent that much money on anything in my life, but I was dying to go to that show. My mom surprised me with tickets for my 11th birthday for the Fearless tour, and this would be a full-circle moment for us to go back together.”

How Lask Covered the Cost

Lask, 24, and her mother first tried purchasing tickets through the presale program for Capital One cardholders , which reportedly offered ticket prices as low as $49.

When that didn’t work out, Lask says they tried several avenues to get tickets before connecting with a ticket broker who could get them the unobstructed, 300-level tickets for $2,000 each.

To cover the cost, Lask says she took $3,000 out of her savings account to pay for the tickets. Her mom paid the other $1,000 and paid for Lask’s flight from Florida to St. Louis, where they met and drove to Chicago together for the concert. Her mother also paid for the hotel room after the concert.

Resale Ticket Prices Have Gone Through the Ceiling

Lask wasn’t the only fan spending thousands on tickets to The Eras Tour – resale ticket prices have skyrocketed, even as the singer has continued to add more tour dates. Earlier this month, Swift unveiled a schedule for previously unannounced North American shows running through November in Miami, New Orleans, Indiana and Canada. After that, she'll take the show abroad.

The average resale ticket sold for the concert at the time of publications is $1,619, according to SeatGeek. By comparison, the average resale concert ticket this year is about $245.

“What makes (Swift’s ticket sales) even more impressive is that she is drawing this level of demand while playing at the largest venues in the country,” says Chris Leyden, director of growth marketing at SeatGeek. “Taylor nearly broke the internet during her Eras Tour tickets sales, and the demand has not subsided.”

Fans Went Way Over Budget

Even fans who managed to get their tickets during the presale at lower prices often spent more than they expected.

Swift may have competition when it comes to fans spending on concert tickets, however. A recent InvestorsObserver survey found that fans of Beyonce were laying out an average of $1,800 each to see Queen Bey perform, about $300 more than the average spend by Swifties.

For some, however, forking over four digits for a concert is just too much. More than 70% of consumers recently told LendingTree that they've opted out of seeing their favorite performers because prices were too high.

But for Lask, who has seen Swift in concert four times, the experience was worth the money.

“She is my favorite artist, and she has released so much new music since her last tour, I couldn’t miss it,” Lask says. “It was so amazing, I cried multiple times. It was surreal being there after the battle and uncertainty of getting tickets. I just couldn’t believe I was there.”

By that, we mean one of the very select few who didn't get stuffed on a Taylor Swift waitlist but received the "you've been selected to participate in the Verified Fan Onsale" email.

This week, anyone who registered for one of the new Eras Tour dates learned if they got the presale code, which is necessary to try and buy tickets.

In the latest round of tour date drops, Swift added three shows in Indianapolis — which, after Cincinnati, is the closest she's coming to Louisville (for now).

So if you got the code for Indianapolis, you can try buying tickets on Friday.

Here's everything you need to know before the Indianapolis sale.

Where are the shows, and what are the dates? Nov. 1-3 at Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Colts play. All shows are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

When does the portal open? Friday, Aug. 11, at staggered times. Nov. 1 tickets go on sale at 11 a.m., Nov. 2 goes on sale at 1 p.m., and Nov. 3 goes on sale at 3 p.m.

Who can buy tickets? Only people who received a code via text.

How and when do I log on? Use the link that is sent in the text with your code. Ticketmaster recommends logging in at least 30 minutes prior to sale to enter the "waiting room."

How many tickets can you buy? Maximum of 4.

How much are tickets? Historically, they've ranged from as low as $49 to upwards of $500.

Does a code guarantee you tickets? No, so good luck.

What if you don't get tickets? The only way to get Eras Tour tickets is through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Onsale or through certain other limited tour-sponsored on-sale opportunities for specific shows. Be on the lookout for information on these other opportunities.

If you are moved off the waitlist, you'll receive a text.

Another option would be to wait for re-sale tickets closer to the time of the concert.

What Stage Setup Can You Expect at the Eras Tour?

If you’re stumped on which tickets to get, checking out the stage layout is pretty helpful, and super easy to find while you’re purchasing tickets. While each stage layout may differ slightly depending on the stadium, it looks like all will have a main stage, a walkway leading to a diamond-shaped smaller stage, and finally, a ramp leading to a rectangular mini-stage (see below for an example). Obviously, Eras Tour tickets surrounding the main stage will be the priciest but you might find some decent prices next to the secondary stages.

As Taylor Swift wraps up the international leg of her “Eras Tour” at London’s Wembley Stadium tonight, fans in the US are eagerly anticipating her return for the final US shows in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis, before she concludes the tour in Toronto and Vancouver .

Swift will kick off her second US leg on October 18 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, with Gracie Abrams opening all dates and the potential for other surprise special guests. With the date right around the corner, there’s still time to secure tickets for her upcoming shows.

Fans know all too well the high cost associated with attending the “Eras Tour.” Ticket prices start in the mid-$2,000′s for the cheapest options, and can surpass $15,000 for the most expensive ones.

Taylor Swift ticket scams are rampant online. How one fan (mostly) managed to avoid one.

Correction: A previous version of this story misspelled the name of an Indiana University expert. He is Scott Shackelford. Kayla Middlemist's conversation over Instagram with a stranger started out normally enough. The other person claimed to have four tickets to one of Taylor Swift's three Indianapolis Eras Tour shows in November and Middlemist had been trying to snag tickets to a concert an easy drive from her Missouri home.

First Middlemist asked for the price and the location. She then asked for a screen recording video of the tickets on the seller's phone, which the seller said in a message they could not do because the tickets were on a computer. Although the refusal raised red flags for Middlemist, she sent $200 for just the first ticket using the goods and services payment option on PayPal.

Seconds later, PayPal issued her a refund, warning her of fraudulent activity. The tickets weren't real.

Looking back, Middlemist sees the warning signs, such as the moderate price per ticket and the seller's desire to use a different feature on PayPal, which would not have offered her the same protections.

As the Taylor Swift concert dates approach, ticket scammers appear to be infiltrating seemingly every social media group designated for ticket resales , preying on desperate fans prepared to drop hundreds or thousands of dollars for the biggest live music tour in history .

Like Middlemist, many fans looking for tickets in these groups tried and failed to secure tickets through a Ticketmaster verified fan presale. And with only three cities in the U.S. left on the tour, demand is higher than ever for the Indianapolis leg, running Nov. 1-3 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Cybersecurity experts say Eras Tour scams are rampant because they fall under high-price ticket scamming, where bad actors can earn a high commission for a low amount of effort.

The higher value of the item, the more scams are out there.

"The reason why it’s blown up is because it’s working. People are getting paid well for the time they are actually committing their scams," said Cody Tyler, managing director of EXOS CYBER, a division of Indianapolis-based EXOS Companies.

Tyler likened the phenomenon to Super Bowl tickets, where scammers target once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and can hone their tactics on a certain city to which thousands of people are traveling.

Although there is always some risk, experts say people looking for resale tickets online can protect themselves by using a specific feature on PayPal, meeting in person to exchange tickets in a safe, public place or asking Lucas Oil Stadium to verify tickets.

Use PayPal goods and services

Although a handful of apps can be used to transfer money digitally, including Venmo, Zelle and CashApp, most do not protect those sending the money from any risk associated with such transactions.

PayPal offers one of the safest ways to protect yourself and your money with its good and services payment option , which can be selected before paying another user. If buyers pay through goods and services, they can be compensated if they never receive the item they purchased.

Under the goods and services policy, sellers pay a small fee to receive the money, but both parties are covered for the risk of the transaction.

Buyers who use the donations payment or other apps authorize the transactions and take responsibility for sending the money. Many people are accustomed to those types of payments in daily life, using them for a range of payments from evening up with friends to tipping. That familiarity makes it easier for scammers to persuade buyers to send money online, Tyler said.

'If it seems too good to be true, it probably is'

Less than three months out from the Indianapolis concerts, official resale tickets are selling well above face value, with the lowest price on StubHub lingering around $2,000 for a nosebleed seat. Anything selling for significantly less than that should raise questions, experts say.

For Middlemist, who lives in Jefferson City, Missouri, those $2,000 and up tickets are out of her price range, but after her experience with the would-be scammer, she is scared to keep searching for tickets on social media in the "black market" of ticket sales.

Middlemist's advice for other Swifties looking for tickets is to be wary of sellers who are solely messaging and refuse to meet in person or talk on the phone. She also pointed to Eras Tour Resell, an X account ran by three fans who facilitate ticket sales between Swifties at face value prices and verify tickets with sellers before transactions, as a page she would trust.

Ask Ticketmaster, StubHub, Lucas Oil Stadium for confirmation

Ticket holders should confirm the authenticity of their tickets with Ticketmaster or StubHub as an extra affirmative step before the concert, said Executive Director of IU's  Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research Professor Scott Shackelford.

Shackelford added that the venue, Lucas Oil Stadium, should be able to verify real tickets.

"If you’re at all concerned, you can make sure the ticket is associated with the correct name" of the person selling the ticket, Shackelford said.

"And if you did pay for a Taylor Swift ticket and it ends up being a cybercrime, dispute the charge," he said.

If possible, meet in person to exchange tickets

While any online marketplace poses increased risks for fraud, Tyler said he would not recommend all together ditching social media groups, noting they can be places to engage with real sellers, particularly if they offer to meet in person to exchange tickets.

"Personally, I've have bought Colts tickets that way, where you meet up with that person at the box office face-to-face and see the original seller," Tyler said.

Safe places to meet could include a bank or police station.

With Taylor Swift being done with the European and UK leg, she is finally ready to begin the final North American leg of her tour– and Swifties may be surprised that there are a number of tickets left to purchase.

After wrapping up the international tour dates, Swift will pick up the final leg of the “Eras Tour” on Oct. 18 in Miami, Fla. and will wrap up on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, BC .

When Swift was last in the U.S., tickets were in the high hundreds and even thousands, especially at her MetLife Stadium shows in May of 2023 - they were nearly unaffordable.

Currently, tickets for her North American show dates are not as cheap as the ones we saw for her previous tour dates, but there is a chance ticket prices might fall the closer we get to an arena show. However, even with tickets in the thousands, there is still the chance tickets will sell out the closer you get to a specific show date.

Right now, the cheapest North American tour ticket we could find, before fees, is $1,526 on StubHub for her Toronto, Ontario show on Dec. 6 .

This week and early next week, Taylor Swift will perform her final concerts on the European leg of the “Eras Tour.”

She will perform Aug. 15-17 and Aug. 19-20 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

After a hiatus, Swift will again perform in the United States - nine concerts in three cities - Oct. 18-20 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida; Oct. 25-27 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana; and Nov. 1-3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

After that, she finishes the tour with six concerts in Toronto and three in Vancouver, Canada.

The tour is sold out so the only option is to buy tickets from secondary market sites.

When does Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour start again? Final North American leg dates and venues

Taylor Swift plays the last show of the European leg of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London on Tuesday (August 20) after which she will take a two-month break before embarking on its grand finale in the United States and Canada.

That’s right, the highest-grossing tour in history will come to an end before 2024 is out after 149 shows across five continents. The “Shake It Off” singer’s last date in London will be number 131, with the final 18 to get underway in at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on October 18 after she has recharged her batteries.

Swift will have five venues and cities left to visit on the final leg of the Eras Tour: Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Caesers Superdome in New Orleans , Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis , Rogers Center in Toronto and BC Place in Vancouver . She will play three shows at each venue, with the exception of Toronto, where will have a five-night run.

The final show will take place at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8 , bringing to an end a worldwide tour that has been going for 21 months.
