2003 Ford Excursion -11 Passenger!- Eddie Bauer Sport Utility 4-door 6.0l on 2040-cars

This is a private party sale of our 2003 4x4 6.0 Diesel, 11 Passenger Eddie Bauer Ford Excursion with 155,000 miles We recently had half of the injectors replaced and everything works perfectly. These 6.0's are great except for the injectors, which if you have to do them are costly. Thankfully we just did them for you! Just look at all the listings on here for this same truck with 250k+ on Ebay, this is an amazing vehicle. We added a custom DOT approved 4th row seat that brings the passenger count to 11. (Yes it goes to 11).  It also comes with our extra set of excursion specific wheels for snow tires, so you don't have to pay to have your winter tires switched between rims every season. Has the factory tow package plus added trailer brakes with multi-port trailer connectors. Comes with an SCT tuner and installed chip. This allows you to boost mileage or performance depending on your application. We have used it to get better mileage (diesels are already better than gassers, but this brings it up even higher). We have only used the truck to tow a couple times, but the truck barely notices when a boat or trailer is attached, lots and lots of power. Has newer brakes and ball joints. Features: 4-Wheel Drive (Low and High) 4-Wheel ABS DVD Heated Seats Heated Mirrors (with built-in turn signals) Backup Sensors 2nd Row Bench 3rd Row Bench 4th Row Bench (Custom installed DOT approved rear facing seat) Almost new 80,000 mile Michelin tires (Costco - about 3,000 miles on them) 4 extra rims for snow tires Full set of Excursion weather mats (in trunk also) Towing Package - plus trailer brakes (with mulit-port for most any trailer connection) If you've been looking to get a 10 passenger or 12 passenger van, but don't like the look or lack of safety or the lack of a reasonable 4x4 option, then this is a great alternative. We have six kids and this has accommodated our family perfectly, allowing us to take our kids and their friends to school or on trips. It's also nice to have the DVD player and rear heat/AC controls. With the full set of weather mats (that can hold a tremendous amount of liquid) It's great for snowy days or beach days or muddy days. The leather is also great for kids, since they clear right off.

Ford Transit gets outfitted for prison duty

Between the Taurus-based Police Interceptor, the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility and the F-150 and Expedition special service vehicles, Ford has no lack of offerings for law enforcement. And now it has one more in the form of the new Transit PTV. Based on the fullsize Transit van, the Prisoner Transport Vehicle can move as many as 12 prisoners in three separate compartments between detention facilities. Created in collaboration with Pennsylvania-based Havis Prisoner Transport Solutions and with input from Ford's Police Advisory Board, the Transit PTV takes advantage of the Transit's considerable configuration options that include three roof heights, two wheelbases, three lengths and four body-styles - not to mention engine options that include the flex-fuel 3.7-liter V6, 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 3.2-liter Power Stroke diesel. "Transit PTV is the latest example of Ford's deep commitment to helping provide law enforcement agencies with capable vehicles. This concept proves Transit is upfit-ready and designed to Built Ford Tough standards," said Jonathan Honeycutt, Ford police marketing manager. "Many Police Advisory Board members have had the chance to drive this vehicle and they are excited about it. This new vehicle is tough, smart and efficient - ideal for the needs of law enforcement agencies."

TX officer allegedly lets 140-mph street racer go with a warning [w/poll]

Being pulled over by the police is one of the most nerve-racking situations that a driver can go through, and it's even worse when you know that the officer has you dead to rights for speeding well over the posted limit. In this video, the driver of a heavily modified Ford Mustang with a claimed 966 horsepower at the rear wheels could have easily lost his ride for doing triple-digit speeds and street racing, but a friendly Texas police officer appears to send him on his way with a simple warning. What's more, the driver in question wasn't just speeding - his Mustang was the camera car for a bunch of rolling street races in the wee hours of the morning on a Texas highway. The driver was more than willing to mix it up in the action, too. Eventually the cops catch on and pick the 'Stang to pull over, but not before the Ford owner runs a claimed 140 mph. With only audio to go on after the car is pulled over, the police officer seems incredibly nonchalant about catching someone who was so brazenly breaking the law. Incredibly, the patrolman actually tells the driver that he's seen everyone racing tonight but ignored them. With traffic picking up, the cop says that it's time to "cut it out" and go home for the night. As far as this video shows, that was the end of it. Warning: There is explicit, not-safe-for-work language in the video below.

Eddie Bauer interior - restoration

I want to restore EB tan color interior. Is anybody does that? Where is find rare material and fabric? Carpets, seat covers (like as plush) and upper 'ceiling' coating? And another - anybody can take a some pics for upper coating, so close as can be see fabric structure?

doing the same here, some great info on seats http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=344193 headliner and carpet stuff is pretty easy to find beyond that. the foamed headliner material is readily available on ebay.  

every city should have someone doing headliners, and seats, unless its really small. THey are easy to put in and pull out usually. As far as the other stuff, junk yard, ebay are the best sources. Also Car-part.com. Lots of used stuff there, but they have no pictures. seat covers can be had on ebay and you can install them yourself. Carpet is sold by every parts source for broncos.  

The head linears are do-able yourself also. It does take some time and you might not like your first attempt. The rear one is harder as its bigger.  

I'm doing the same thing for mine, I scored two 'like new' leather seats from a local salvage yard for $250. Not sure if Russia has any broncos in salvage yards but you might check... I had to cal 5 or 6 of them before I found a guy who had any full sized bronco parts. best of luck, take lots of progress pics and keep us posted!

Thanks guys - I'll try to handmade... Thanks, Steve! - you have billion pictures on each question!!! Our junkyards can have some Broncos and they are can sell seats - but mine is fine in internal structure - only covers need for seats. Pics will be some later! But what was unique for Eddie Bauer original fabrics and covers? For example, at Bronco Graveyard, this is not precisely those EB - like EB, EB style, but not EB. Seem like it will have some differences.  

The particular parts of the EB package varied nearly every year from '84-91, especially seat upholstery. '92-96 EBs got essentially the same parts as any normal tan (mocha) interior truck, with just a few trim parts bearing the EB logo. I put '86 EB Bronco chairs in this truck: http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/70489 http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/70534 http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/1022839 Somewhere between '87 & '91, the captain's chairs lost their outboard arms, and the EB panels, but I'm not sure exactly when.  

I have same chairs!!! But without outer arms... Same patch with trees...  

Did they come with outer arm rests? I've actually been looking at replacing mine with seats from the second row of a Windstar/Freestar - they fold forward and you can bolt the original base to them. I hate the extra large bolsters in my 1990. Which is sad because they are in perfect shape.
