Great use of time

Wonderful walking tour with the knowledgeable and funny Brian W. The weather created its own challenges. Despite that, I’d recommend this free tour. We’re still discussing all we learned.

Avoid. Our guide claimed to have spent 20 years in the tourist industry taking tours of all types around Belfast but his historical knowledge (which he pushed at every point) was both incorrect and biased. Really disappointing. We've done walking tours in many European cities and this was the first one that was not entertaining or informative.

Dave was an amazing tour guide who shared the knowledge of his hometown combined with personal stories which made the tour all the more engaging. I personally didn't know much about the history of the city, so this was a great introduction. I also personally really appreciated the list of places to eat and drink given that I am a sucker for good beer and food, so thank you Dave for everything!

Dave was an amazing tour guide. Born and bred in Belfast, his passion for this fascinating city made for a highly engaging tour with personal experiences and storytelling. It was just the right length of time with an 11 year boy (although my husband and I could have listened to Dave for much longer!). Highly recommend you start your visit to Belfast with this tour to give you a feel for the city as you go on to explore. Thank you Dave. I’ll be recommending you to my sister who is coming over in a few weeks!

A great way to see the city. As well as pointing out famous landmarks, David shared lots of information and personal anecdotes. He’s obviously passionate about his home town and wanted the tour group to feel the same. A must- do if you’re visiting Belfast.

Dave was an amazing tour guide. Not only was the tour very informative, his story telling is also very engaging and very nice to listen to. Prior to the tour, my friend and I had a very basic understanding of Belfast’s rich history, but we learned so much more because of Dave. Dave also gave great recommendations for further activities and sights to see in Belfast, he even handed out a list to all people in the group with his pub and restaurant recommendations which was very thoughtful. I am super happy we went on Dave’s tour and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much!

A great walking tour

I really enjoyed the tour with our guide Brian W. We were only in Belfast for 24 hours and it was a great way to get a feel for the city.

Fantastic walking tour which was both informative and an all round view of Belfast (and Northern Ireland). Brian W, was such a wealth of knowledge I would have happily listened to him for another few hours! This tour is an absolute must if visiting Belfast.

We really enjoyed the walking tour with our host Brian. He had so much knowledge about the city and was fun too. You get headsets so it’s much easier to hear your host over traffic noise. Free and then you leave whatever amount you want to give at the end. Highly recommend

This was the best tour I had in Ireland and one of the best in my hole life. Brian (the guide) is very knowledgeable about his city's history and of the hole of Ireland. It was worth it every second!

Dave was an excellent guide with a sound knowledge of the city - happy to answer all questions we put to him and great banter.

Dave was really good ! He was able to provide an amazing concise summary of Irish politics, history, trade, culture in 2h. Took us to the popular places in Belfast - pubs, restaurants , wharf. Really enjoyed

Belfast Free Walking tour EXCELLENT

I've just completed the Belfast Free Walking tour with an excellent guide named Dave. The tour covered the history and politics of Belfast past and present. Not only was Dave very informative but he delivered the tour in a relaxed and where appropriate a humourous way. It lasted approximately 2 hours and covered a lot of the city centre. His list of food recommendations was much appreciated and as he had preprinted them I had no bother remembering. Nice and thoughtful touch. I would highly recommend this tour as something to do first to anyone visiting Belfast. It'll certainly help you get your bearings relatively quickly. Thanks

I'm seeing several companies offering free walking tours of the walled City, can anyone recommend one? We are looking for a short version as we have difficulties walking long distances. I'm thinking that we can just see how much we can walk and then leave when we no longer want to walk (we will tip anyways).

You don't say how much time you have in Cartagena but if your time allows do the Hop-On/Hop-Off bus, for something like 65,000 Col pesos it's will give you a good sense of the layout of the Historic Center, the Fort and Bocagrande.
