From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by all of the staff and our tour guide, Stephen, was the perfect host. His knowledge of Celtic and Celtic Park is phenomenal, and he has great rapport with adults and children alike. When he says he has the best job in the world, you can tell he is being genuine. In honour of dad's special day, Stephen appointed him honorary Captain and he was given the chance to lead the whole party down the tunnel to the side of the pitch and dugouts. I can't thank Stephen enough for such a lovely gesture, and our whole family is very grateful to him. The Number 7 Restaurant is big enough that you're not back to back with other tables, is brightly lit and has a good mix of background music which isn't obtrusive. The staff are very attentive, happily giving us time to choose ours and the kids meals. We didn't have to wait long for the first course, or between courses either. They're clearly a very organised and well oiled machine, yet are also very polite and friendly. The food was excellent and we had a varied mix of meals, with everyone saying how nice their own was. So despite a broad range of meals and choices, the restaurant got every single one right. I myself am not a football fan, but l thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour from start to finish. Our guide Tom was very knowledgeable and was great at getting lots of information across in a friendly manner - he was particularly good with the children too. Loads of photo opportunities of the behind the scenes areas of Celtic Park. Fantastic to be able to walk down the tunnel in the footsteps of so many heroes, with the stadium views from the dugout area being breathtaking. The meal in the Number 7 was first class - can recommend the rib eye steak in particular. Staff here, as in other parts of the stadium, were very friendly and efficient. Just back from doing the tour and meal package at Celtic park and all I can say is ....it was a fantastic experience and well worth it. Our tour guide Robert was brilliant and as the line goes in the famous "Celtic song" ...and if you know,your history? ....well Robert certainly does and is full of incredible details about our famous clubs history. Started off in the sports bar then down to the directors room and then onto the home changing room,then pitchside then into directors box and finally taken to the Number7 restaurant for our 3 course meal. Meal was lovely and so to were the staff our waitress Niamh ( hope that's the spelling?) was helpful and very pleasant too. A really informative hour finding out about the history of the club followed by a family meal in the No.7 restaurant to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. A special mention to our tour guide Tom, who let my Dad lead us all down the tunnel as a birthday treat. It made his day. Highly recommended tour and a must for any fan of the hoops! Celtic full line-up for US summer tour announced, dates for glamour ties confirmed

Celtic fans now know the schedule in full for our upcoming three-game tour of the United States this summer.

Yesterday, we told that the Bhoys are pencilled in to take on Chelsea at the iconic Notre Dame Stadium on the 27th of July in South Bend, Indiana, giving Brendan Rodgers a chance to face off against Mauricio Pochettino at the home of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish college football team, who have an enormous worldwide following.

Now, per an official club announcement, Celtic have released confirmation that we will also take on DC United and Manchester City in Washington DC and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, setting the scene for an exciting pre-season Stateside.

As we all know, Celtic have a massive fanbase in the US, and there will be a palpable sense of excitement from supporters across the Atlantic at the prospect of seeing their heroes in action.

Dates for Celtic US tour now confirmed

Per the official Celtic website , the Bhoys will first take on Pep Guardiola’s reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City, at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on July 23rd.

Both sides have only ever met twice competitively, with either match ending in Champions League group stage draws during Rodgers’ first tenure.

Before that, we face DC United in the first game of the tour on July 20th at Audi Field, Washington, pitting the Hoops against one of the most successful clubs in Major League Soccer.

Tickets for the Manchester City match go on sale on Wednesday, March 27th; meanwhile, there is a pre-sale window come March 25th.

On a similar token, season ticket holders and fans with priority pre-sale access can purchase DC United briefs from March 25th, with the wider public able to get their hands on tickets two days later.

Celtic have a summer of excitement on their hands, and 67 Hail Hail will be on hand to update supporters regarding any future announcements surrounding the friendly matches.

Lennoxtown Training Centre

Lennoxtown training centre, the official training centre of Celtic Football Club, was officially opened in October 2007. Lennoxtown was designed to replace Celtic’s former training ground at Barrowfield (a short distance east of the club’s stadium Celtic Park in the east end of Glasgow). The complex is located on a 46-acre (190,000 m2) site near the Campsie Fells. The complex houses the club’s training and educational facilities.

Barrowfield Training Centre

Barrowfield was purchased by Celtic in the summer of 1959. It was used as the training ground for Celtic’s European Cup winning team under Jock Stein and remained the base for first team players until they moved to Lennoxtown in 2007.
