K. Michelle Announces 2023 Dates For ‘I’m The Problem’ Tour

K. Michelle is hitting the road in 2023 among the likes of Jill Scott, New Edition, Janet Jackson, and more.

The “Scooch” singer’s tour will support her forthcoming sixth studio album and final R&B project, I’m The Problem . The 21-city tour will begin in Washington D.C. on Feb. 23 and will hit major cities including New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Philly, and Houston. She has already confirmed that more dates will be announced, including a “very special Atlanta show.”

Via Instagram , K. Michelle teased, “And my Special Guest is your new favorite. This is R&B, with a little bit of country in it.”

In addition to the tour focusing on the former reality star ‘s R&B career, she will also introduce fans to her alter-ego “Puddin'” and her country music discography.

“I feel like this album; I was able to give them exactly the K Michelle that they remember and grew to love to the one now. It shows growth, but it shows the same honesty, and it shows the topics and things that they come to me for as an artist. I have to be honest,” said K. Michelle, 40, in a statement.

Limited VIP packages with merch bundles will also be available for purchase . However, the date for pre-sale and general public tickets have yet to be shared.

K. Michelle Plans ‘I’m The Problem Tour’ For 2023

K. Michelle ’s long-awaited next album I’m The Problem will be her final R&B album. The singer isn’t riding off into the sunset to the retirement home, though, as she plans to pursue her passion for country music. However, before she kisses R&B goodbye, K. has something special in store for her fans in 2023 on her I’m The Problem Tour .

The I’m The Problem Tour signals K. Michelle's full return to touring since the pandemic, and she plans to do it up big. She’s beginning the 20-date run in Washington, D.C. with a show at Howard Theatre on February 23, 2023. From our Nation’s Capital, Michelle will head to Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Boston, Milwaukee, Memphis, New Orleans, Dallas and San Antonio, to name a few. The final show will be on March 26, 2023 in Houston at the House Of Blues.

Now, if you don’t see your city or area listed, don’t fret. K. Michelle has assured fans that more dates will be announced, including a very special Atlanta show according to the flyer below.

On the I’m The Problem Tour, K. will perform songs from throughout her catalog such as “V.S.O.P.,” “Can’t Raise A Man” and, of course, her most recent smash “Scooch,” which will be included on her I’m The Problem album. Not only will she be entertaining concertgoers with the R&B that they know and love, but she plans to introduce audiences to her country-singing alter ego “Puddin’,” too.

It sounds like K. Michelle is excited to get back on the road and is going to give her fans quite a show. Tickets for said shows on the I’m The Problem Tour are currently on sale with two types of meet and greet packages with some dope perks also available for purchase on her VIP website .

K. Michelle Announces First Show Dates for Upcoming Tour

K. Michelle fans rejoice: The “Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart” singer just announced the first leg of shows for her upcoming tour.

The “My Twisted Mind Tour” launches next month on February 5 in San Francisco, followed by a show in Los Angeles. Additional cities include Orlando, Seattle and Atlanta. The dates released extend through March, but there are more shows expected.

“Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart” is the latest heartfelt and painstakingly honest album from K. Michelle. The songs on the album primarily touch on her secret relationship with Idris Elba. 

“I need to learn that everybody doesn’t love like I love, and everybody isn’t gonna love you back or everybody isn’t gonna like you. It’s a process, man,” she told ESSENCE.com last month. “Anybody would be lying if they said they didn’t have their flaws and they didn’t have things that they were working on improving every day. Because if you allow yourself to be up for criticism, for arguing and always being in the media for bad things, you know, what can you expect?”

‘The Love Hard Tour’ Lineup Announced: Keyshia Cole, K. Michelle and More

The Black Promoters Collective (BPC) has announced The Love Hard Tour featuring Keyshia Cole, K. Michelle, Trey Songz and Jahiem.

The 24-date run begins Feb. 22, 2024, at Macon Coliseum in Macon, Georgia.

From there, the four R&B/soul acts will play in major U.S. cities, including Atlanta, St. Louis, Baltimore, Houston, Las Vegas and New Orleans.

The tour will conclude on April 14, 2024, in Southaven, Mississippi.

Presales begin Thursday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. local time, with the access code BPC. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, Dec. 15.

K. Michelle will be supporting her latest album, I’m The Problem , which was released in September 2023. It features her hit single, “ Scooch ,” which went No. 1 on the R&B charts.

The Memphis, Tennessee, native, who is gearing up for country stardom as Puddin, performed at the 57th Country Music Awards (CMAs) to pay tribute to The Judds. She shared the stage with Jelly Roll.

As for Keyshia Cole, she starred in Lifetime’s Keyshia Cole: This is My Story and released a new song, “ Forever Is a Thing ,” to coincide with the biopic.

She will also be featured on The Color Purple soundtrack with her song “No Love Lost.” The compilation project arrives on Friday, Dec. 15.

She also recently joined Monica on Nicki Minaj’s new song titled “Love Me Enough.” The song is currently exclusively available on Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 D2C Version 2   digital album. The Murda Beatz-produced song is set to arrive on streaming services sometime this week. 

Trey Songz has not released new solo music since 2021’s “ Brain .” His last studio album, Back Home , arrived in 2020. The LP was among Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2020 list .

Back Home includes guest appearances from Summer Walker, Ty Dolla $ign, Swae Lee and Davido. It also features the  title track , which spent three weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

Jahiem has been absent musically for a while. His last album, Struggle Love , was released in 2016. He featured on Angie Stone’s 2019 album, Full Circle , on the song “ Gonna Have to Be You .”

Kanye West has revealed that if he could pick one woman for he and his wife to have sex with, he would choose Michelle Obama as the candidate.

The rap star made the bold declaration during an appearance on social media influencer Justin Laboy ‘s The Download podcast this past weekend, listing the former First Lady as the one woman he and his wife, Bianca Censori , covet sexually.

“Michelle Obama,” West told LaBoy when asked of the woman he’d want to be intimate with that he hasn’t already. He noted that Obama being the wife of former President Barack Obama was significant in his desire. “Got to f**k the President’s wife,” the 46-year-old added.
