My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Pat on multiple trips. She makes the travel experience so easy. Her attention to detail is top notch and she always stays on top of every reservation that is made for our trips. She connects with you regularly and makes sure you are prepared for your upcoming travels. Even checks in the day before you leave. Pat is amazing and she works hard on our behalf to ensure we have a great time on our trips. I would highly recommend Pat at Incredible Journey!

Pat is an incredible human being with a genuine heart to share her passion for travel and so generous with he knowledge and expertise without expectation. I had already done a lot of research for a Cruise I was planning to the Mediterranean with my fiancée. Pat was so kind in helping to find better rates or attempt to price match my discoveries along with encouraging my own knowledge of travel. She was more like a travel mentor than agent. Unfortunately our travel plans had to be completely cancelled due to our work schedule. Regardless, I needed to share Pat's 5 Star service to my fellow Yelpers! Thank you Pat!

Photo of Dan S.

I have used Pat's services on a couple of occasions, and when I have done so, she has done suck a great job at looking into the trip and reminding me of all the little things that I may have forgotten to handle. She saved me a little money in a trip to Paris France a few years ago, and my brother in law went with an online service. I flew in and out with no problems or deviations from our plans. My Bro-in-law was stuck in Italy with no tickets from a little oversight that Pat would have caught! Pat loves what she does, and makes it a pleasure to travel when she plans it for us!

Pat Ellington is a fantastic travel agent. I regret not using her for our honeymoon more than I can say. Her free services are amazing. She helps you plan every detail of your trip and makes sure you do not have any gaps in your itinerary and plenty of insurance in case the worst case scenario happens. Her recent trip to Antartica has left me craving another incredible journey of my own. She is a cruise specialist and it shows. She gave us wonderful insider tips on how to make the most of our cruise within our budget. She gave us tips on what to pack and how to move smoothly through the airports as well. I highly recommend her.

Pat did a great job setting up my families trip to Costa Rica. Through her we booked the flights, hotels, drivers and most of our tours. It was a wonderful adventure and everything went exactly as planned. I appreciated all of her advice before the trip about the little details I would not have even thought about. I would definitely use her for future trips. Becky S.

Pat was incredibly helpful for a cruise newbie... especially one with almost no time to pay attention to the many details of new travel. She is most patient... always quick to answer questions (even though the answers were in the materials she had already sent)... I felt she had my best interests in mind, calming my concerns and even gently reminding me of deadlines, such as the first day to book on-board dinner reservations. I am reminded how great it is to have a travel professional help with a vacation - yes, it may be cheaper in some ways to do it all yourself, but vacations are supposed to help with stress... not add to it! Pat goes the extra mile and works to get a great deal with bonuses, and it's appreciated. Grateful to Pat, will use her again... !

Pat did an amazing job planning our trip to Mexico for my husband and newborn son. She took care of all the small details which was particularly important because it was our first time traveling with our son and would've forgotten to ask about special accommodations for him (i.e. Crib, family-friendly resort, car seat, etc.) Thank you Pat for making our vacation seamless! We look forward to planning more trips in the future :)

Photo of Janis K.

Pat works so hard to make sure your vacation is perfect from start to coming home. She is a cruise specialist and if you try her out, you will know why. She has a heart of gold and really cares for her customers. She will give you one INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!! xoxo

Three months before our wedding, we hadn't settled on our honeymoon plans, and panic was beginning to settle in. We had checked out dozens of websites for honeymoon packages, reviews on different places, and we were just lost in all of the choices. We knew we wanted a trip of a lifetime, but also totally relaxing and hassle-free after all the wedding planning. We were thinking either (1) a cruise of some sort outside of the U.S. or (2) a trip to Costa Rica. Option (1) seemed to be out of our price range once you factored in the obscene cost of the international airfare, and option (2) was cheap but seemed hit-or-miss based on the reviews. We called up our wedding planner and she pointed us to Pat, and we explained our budget and our thoughts to her. Within a day Pat gave us three fully-planned options all within our budget: a trip to Tahiti, a luxury cruise through the Greek islands, and a luxury cruise along the French Riviera. Within a week we had our honeymoon plans all set up for a price less than half that I found through internet searching before. We flew Lufthansa and United at a price about half that I saw Expedia, Orbitz, or Kayak quoting, and were sailing WindStar for about the same savings. I don't know how she did it. As best as I can tell, Pat saved us about $10,000. We would have been stupid not to do this. We got back from our trip about a week ago, and it was amazing. It went flawlessly. Upon our arrival in Athens we found a suit-wearing gentleman waiting for us at the luggage claim who spoke excellent English and had a Mercedes parked outside to take us to the hotel, where our room had a balcony that overlooked the Acropolis (and all of this was pre-paid, so we really didn't have to worry about anything except the tips). Everything on the rest of the trip worked pretty much just like that. Thanks Pat!

Pat Ellington is truly an amazing, experienced travel planner who effortlessly took care of all the small details of our past two summer vacations; one, a 2-week Alaskan cruise and most recently a 3-week trip to New York, Ireland, England, France and Italy. She has a tremendous amount of patience and always goes above and beyond to answer ALL of the big and small questions so all you have to do is just show up and enjoy your time away. She knows how to match families up with the perfect excursions and has many connections to take care those hundreds of details like airport transfers, car reservations, what to leave in and out of your packing, etc.; even down to how many grams of protein you should be getting in your protein bars on long flights (at least 14!). Made a world of difference in the removal of stress and the amount of fun we had and we owe it all to her. We will definitely be coming back to Pat again and again in the future!

Dnata Travel Group has launched a new campaign for its Incredible Journeys brand.

The group has released an 84-page brochure, called the Little Book of Incredible Journeys, which showcases 30 curated tours, has been sent to more than 250 agencies.

As part of the campaign, agents who make a booking with Incredible Journeys by May 14 will be entered into a prize draw to win a holiday to Costa Rica with G Adventures or to Vietnam with Intrepid.

Weekly prizes are also available for agents following the new Incredible Journeys Facebook and Instagram pages for agents.

Simon Applebaum, dnata Travel Group’s B2B managing director, praised the brand’s success so far in 2023, saying Incredible Journeys has seen a 425% booking increase in January and February compared to the same period last year, as well as a 55% increase in average booking values.

“[Incredible Journeys] perfectly complements Cruise Plus, Pure Luxury and our flagship Gold Medal brand as a demonstration of our team’s knowledge and reputation for building complex itineraries and the level of support they offer agents,” he said.

“Touring and adventure bookings have been some of our biggest winners in a start to the year that’s been positive across the board.

“In 2022 we began laying the foundations for the Incredible Journeys launch with the creation of a specialist sales team, the appointment of a dedicated touring product manager, becoming more actively involved with Atas, and have a series of events planned with key suppliers in the months ahead designed to showcase our touring expertise to agents across the country.”

He added: “This campaign is just the first step in what we’re confident will be a landmark year for the brand and our touring offering as a whole.”

The EXPLORA I, launched in 2023, is a sleek 63,000-ton ship designed for just 922 passengers, each housed in an oceanfront suite. Another important number is 1.32 to 1. This represents the crew to passenger ratio, showing the line’s commitment to passenger service.

Ship staterooms start with the Ocean Terrace suites, at 377 square feet. They feature amenities such as a king bed, a chaise lounge day bed, and big glass doors that make it true ocean front view. Bathrooms include European walk-in showers, heated marble floors, and Dyson hair dryers. The ship also has some 67 penthouses from 462 to 763 square feet, and the Ocean Residences, from 750 square feet up to 1600 square feet.

The EXPLORA I has 12 bars and lounges, and 64 cabanas on deck for guests, with multiple indoor and outdoor whirlpools. The spa has a dry sauna, a steam room, Himalayan salt treatments and more, for “the gift of ocean wellness,” which also includes workouts with free weights, 30-minute yoga classes, Pilates, and rowing machines.
