The foo fighters are a longstanding household name, even music lovers who aren't into grunge and the genre love a handful of their hits…from way back in the early 90s these guys have been hard on the scene, working their way up to platinum status and world wide success. You'll remember hits like 'Everlong', 'Times like these' and' All my life' all huge hits on the US billboard in the genre and beyond….But there is nothing quite like hearing it performed live in-front of a roaring crowd and the most insane atmosphere! The tragic death of the legendary foo fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 22 lead the band to halt touring until now. A huge loss to the band both personally and professionally, getting to the stage of new live performances and continuation of the band have been difficult. With dates added for 2023, the boys embark on a US tour to pick up where they left off, as they head out for a number for shows and festivals through spring and summer.

Foo Fighters tour tickets RECAP - anger as tickets 'sold out' as fans make plea to band

Tickets for Foo Fighters' Everything Or Nothing At All UK tour went on sale today

Fans have been left devastated as it appears Foo Fighters Everything Or Nothing At All UK tour has completely sold out. The rockers, fronted by Dave Grohl, will perform seven headline shows next summer.

The tour will bring the band to Manchester, London, Cardiff and finally Birmingham's Villa Park Stadium in June 2024. Tickets went on general sale at 9am this morning - but within minutes it already appeared that the shows had sold out on both Ticketmaster and See Tickets .

It comes two days after Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours went into meltdown as the presale launched on Wednesday . Many were left disappointed when they couldn't get hold of tickets.

Fans have been left further disappointed after tickets appeared on re-selling websites for more than double, if not triple, the actual selling price. There have been calls for more dates to be added to the tour - but there have been no further dates announced since Wednesday morning.

General sale tickets for the Everything Or Nothing At All tour launched at 9am on Friday, June 30. Standing tickets are expected to be priced at £75 per ticket, with seated ranging between £55 and £104. But these prices are before booking and admin fees.

It will be the band's first UK tour since drummer Taylor Hawkins died in March 2022 at the age of 50. They had been due to perform at Villa Park in June 2022 but this was cancelled following Hawkins' death.

Support act for Villa Park

Foo Fighters have a number of support acts for their UK tour. Wet Leg will support them in Manchester and for one London show.

For the Villa Park Stadium show on June 27 the support acts will be Courtney Barnett and Hot Milk. Courtney Barnett is an Australian singer, songwriter, and musician. Her third studio album, Things Take Time, Take Time was released in November 2021.

Hot Milk is an English pop rock band based in Manchester. They will perform at Reading and Leeds in the summer.

We've found some Villa Park tickets!

While we might not be seeing any luck elsewhere, there are still some tickets available somewhere!

Villa Park is selling some hospitality packages still. But they might be a bit more pricey.

You are promised a great seat plus food and drinks though! It's worth a look.

'Low availability' on Ticketmaster

Surprisingly Ticketmaster is still not saying any of the seven dates are sold out yet. It is still saying low availability across all dates.

That means it is still not sold out and we suspect some tickets are still arriving back on the market - with people changing their minds before entering their bank details. Keep checking back and you might have some luck.

Quick tip - just discovered that there are tickets available on the London Stadium website .

If you fancy an overnight stay to see the Foo Fighters, get booking quick as these won't be around for long. Click here to book.

No tickets left on Ticketmaster

Finally! After two tries and nearly two hours - we're through to Ticketmaster. But there's nothing left.

The only tickets it is showing as available for us is the official platinum tickets priced between £194.69 and £263.15 each!!

Plea for more Villa Park dates

Fans are asking the Foo Fighters to add more Villa Park dates. There's been no further dates added to the UK tour since an extra Manchester show was added during the pre-sale on Wednesday.

Janine said on Twitter: "We need more dates for Villa Park. Only tickets available are platinum tickets at £257 each."

Paul tweeted the Foos directly saying: "any chance of a 2nd Villa Park date?"

'Keep refreshing'

A Foo Fighters UK Twitter fan account is encouraging people to keep trying to get tickets! They said: 'Keep going, keep refreshing'.

Still none on See Tickets for us, and we're still in a queue (for the second time) of more than 2,000 on Ticketmaster .

Furious fans as tickets are being resold

Fans of the Foo Fighters have been left furious as tickets are being resold for higher prices. We've seen some listed for more than £300 already!

One disgruntled fan said: "Tickets to those selling straight away should be removed without refund. So many people selling for £300 per standing ticket for Birmingham.

"The lot of them should have their tickets taken and accounts blocked."

See Tickets 'currently unavailable'

All tickets for Villa Park Stadium on See Tickets are 'currently unavailble'. Looks like they've all gone! We're still not through on Ticketmaster .

It does show us the prices with fees though:

Ticketmaster update - 'phenomenal demand'

There's another update from Ticketmaster saying there's been phenomenal demand. They posted this at 10.03am:

Due to phenomenal demand, ticket availability is extremely limited and ticket options may vary throughout the venue.

Tickets being resold already

While many of us are struggling to get hold of tickets, it's frustrating to see tickets making their way on to selling websites already. We've seen some listed for more than £300 already!

Please only buy from official resale partners - like twickets or Ticketmaster resale!

Villa Park show clashing with Glastonbury 2024?

During the pre-sale on Wednesday morning, one Twitter user urged Foo Fighters to add another Birmingham date - in case it clashes with Glastonbury! The Foo Fighters played a surprise set at Glastonbury last weekend before announcing their 2024 UK tour.

Replying to their tweet announcing a second Manchester show on Wednesday, Danni said: "Add another Birmingham date that doesn't clash with Glastonbury please".

Organisers are yet to confirm dates for the 2024 Glastonbury Festival . But looking back, traditionally the huge festival is usually held on the last full weekend of June. Looking at the 2024 calendar, we can hazard a guess that the festival will run between Thursday, June 27, and Sunday, June 30.

Who knows if Foo Fighters will join the bill for Glastonbury 2024 - but they'll definitely be in Brum on the Thursday so no chance for that! But does it mean we'll be less likely to get an extra Birmingham show?

Low availability

All seven shows are showing 'low availability' on Ticketmaster . We're still in a virtual queue for Villa Park on June 27.

We've gone from 2000+ ahead, to 913 people ahead. And that bar is slowly creeping towards the end. Are people giving up?

Glastonbury

The announcement of their UK tour comes off the back of the Foo Fighters' 'surprise' Glastonbury Festival gig, which saw the musicians take to the stage under the guise of a 'mystery' act called The Churnups.

It was at Worthy Farm that they told the crowd they would be touring the UK next summer, and on Tuesday (June 27) they released the dates.

Half an hour to go!

Less than half an hour to go until the general sale starts! Here are some of our top tips for getting tickets:

• Be ready - make sure you are ready before 9am and signed into whichever ticket website you plan to use. Have all your details saved too! And your bank card to hand.
• Check out the small print - find out about restrictions before you try to buy tickets. There may be a limit on how many tickets you can buy, or what payment methods are accepted

Be patient - this is very important. We have all experienced that ticket stress when you've been sat in a queue for ages and feel like you're not getting any closer to securing your tickets. Constantly refreshing pages and switching from one browser to another can count against you. Just open one browser and persevere.

• Get charged up - decided which electronic device you will be using to get your tickets? Whether it's a laptop, iPad or your phone, make sure it's fully charged. You could be waiting a long time in those online queues.
• Try other locations - Foo Fighters are playing Villa Park in Birmingham, so hopefully you may be able to get hold of those local tickets. But would you be interested in travelling? They are also playing Manchester and Cardiff!

What have Villa Park said?

It's been an exciting month of music for Birmingham's Villa Park Stadium. They hosted two sold-out concerts for Pink and Bruce Springsteen earlier this month.

Then earlier this week, it was announced Foo Fighters would be playing there in June 2024. Here's what Chris Heck, Aston Villa's President of Business Operations had to say:

It is our intention to add more international acts and global events to our hosting portfolio, putting on a show not just for the incredible fanbase of Aston Villa but also the UK’s Second City and the wider West Midlands region.

Full UK tour dates

When the Foo Fighters announced their UK tour on Tuesday, there were six dates in total. During the pre-sale on Wednesday, they added a second date in Manchester?

It is not yet known if we could expect anymore dates added later today yet - but the demand for tickets was very high on Wednesday. And we're sure it will be the same today - so we could see some more announcements, who knows.

Modern rock icons Foo Fighters are heading back on the road for their Everything or Nothing At All Tour! Founded as a solo project by ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in the months following the death of Kurt Cobain, the Foo's have risen to become one of the world's biggest bands and cemented Grohl's status as the nicest man in rock.

Enduring through the sheer strength of their back catalog, coupled with sheer hard work recording innovative new albums (such as their new album 'But We Are Here') and long touring sprees, it is no wonder that they managed to escape the early 2000s purge of alt-rock bands that shone bright but burnt out fast.

Foo Fighters Have Announced A Huge Birmingham Gig As Part Of Their Next Tour

The announcement follows the band's surprise appearance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury last Friday, masquerading as 'The Churnups', to which they travelled by train.

All eyes were on Glastonbury this weekend as Worthy Farm hosted headline slots from third-timers Arctic Monkeys and last-timer Elton John , but many held the most anticipation for a band called ‘The Churnups’… who turned out to be the legendary Foo Fighters . Following their surprise set, the band has announced a huge UK leg of their Everything or Nothing at All tour for 2024 , and Foo Fighters will be rocking Birmingham at Villa Park as they wrap it all up on 27 June 2024 .

With stadium-fillers such as All My Life , My Hero and Everlong , Foo Fighters belong on the biggest stages in the world, bringing 2000s rock to audiences of all ages. Frontman Dave Grohl has proved himself to be the sweetheart of rock , and an adoptee of British culture, not least by the fact he led the band onto a Great Western train to reach the legendary festival.

The 2024 tour of UK stadiums, also hitting Manchester, London, Cardiff and Glasgow, will be the first since the band lost beloved drummer Taylor Hawkins just last year after suffering a heart attack, and Foo Fighters are sure to keep his memory alive in Birmingham as they have been doing ever since. Their Glastonbury set concluded with the emotional anthem Everlong , which was dedicated to Hawkins, and his memory is never far from the band’s performances.

Villa Park Stadium seems the perfect place to end proceedings and, as usual, Foo Fighters are in good company in Birmingham. Supporting the rockers on 27 July, 2024, up-and-coming Manchester band Hot Milk will open the show, with Australian singer Courtney Barnett also performing. Ensuring a night full of great vibes and wonderful music.

Foo Fighters are coming to Birmingham this summer, playing on their first tour since last year’s tribute concerts honoring the band’s late drummer, Taylor Hawkins.

Foo Fighters are set to perform on June 16 at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham, a 10,500-seat venue at 1000 Amphitheater Road. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 3, at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster/Live Nation, priced at $59.50, $79.50, $99.50 and $129.50, plus service charges.

Various pre-sales started on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. CT, and end on Thursday, March 2, at 10 p.m. CT, according to the Live Nation ticket listing .

Promoter Red Mountain Entertainment announced the show here on Tuesday, along with Live Nation and the band’s publicist. The Pelham concert is one of 15 shows confirmed by the band for 2023. (See the full list of tour dates here.)

Two other shows announced on Tuesday are scheduled for May 24, in Gilford, N.H., at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion ; and June 14 in Rogers, Ark., at the Walmart AMP.

“Further making good on their New Year’s Eve promise that they’d see you all soon, Foo Fighters have announced three new headline shows,” the press release says. “The newly confirmed dates ... add to a 2023 touring regimen of festivals including Bonnaroo, Boston Calling, Harley-Davidson Homecoming and more.”

There’s no word yet on who’ll be at the drum kit for Foo Fighters, and a publicist for the band declined to comment.

Hawkins, the longtime drummer for Foo Fighters, died in March 2022 at age 50. The musician, who was overseas with the band, had an assortment of opioids in his system, according to Colombian authorities. At the time, Foo Fighters were readying for a headlining set at Lollapalooza Brazil.

Foo Fighters performed two shows in September 2022 -- the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts -- at London’s Wembley Stadium and The Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The all-star events featured band members Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee, along with artists such as Pink, Gene Simmons, John Paul Jones, Nancy Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Nile Rodgers, Chrissie Hynde, Lars Ulrich, Travis Barker and Sebastian Bach.

“As one of the most respected and beloved figures in modern music, Taylor’s monolithic talent and magnetic personality endeared him to millions of fans, peers, friends and fellow musical legends the world over,” Foo Fighters said at the time, via a press release. “Millions mourned his untimely passing on March 25, with passionate and sincere tributes coming from fans as well as musicians Taylor idolized. The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will unite several of those artists, the Hawkins family and of course his Foo Fighters brothers in celebration of Taylor’s memory and his legacy as a global rock icon -- his bandmates and his inspirations playing the songs that he fell in love with, and the ones he brought to life.”

The tribute concerts were livestreamed on various platforms, including Paramount+ and Pluto TV, and proceeds benefited the charities Music Support and MusiCares , chosen by the Hawkins family.

In December 2022, Foo Fighters promised to be back on tour this year, via a statement on social media. “Without Taylor, we know that we’re going to be a different band going forward.,” Foo Fighters said. Here’s the full statement:

“As we say goodbye to the most difficult and tragic year that our band has ever known, we are reminded of how thankful we are for the people that we love and cherish most, and for the loved ones who are no longer with us.

“Foo Fighters were formed 27 years ago to represent the healing power of music and a continuation of life, and for the past 27 years, our fans have built a worldwide community, a devoted support system that has helped us all get through the darkest of times together. “A place to share our joy and our pain, our hopes and fears, and to join a chorus of life together through music. Without Taylor, we never would have become the band that we were – and without Taylor, we know that we’re going to be a different band going forward.

“We also know that you, the fans meant as much to Taylor as he meant to you, and we know that when we see you again -- and we will soon -- he’ll be there in spirit with all of us every night.”

The band began their current run of shows with a hit-filled set in Dallas

Foo Fighters kicked off their 2024 world tour in Dallas, Texas last night (May 1) – watch fan-shot footage and see the full setlist below.

The band played a 23-track set at the Dos Equis Pavilion amphitheatre on the first stop of their ‘Everything Or Nothing At All’ tour . To begin the show, Dave Grohl and co. delivered a performance of ‘Bridge Burning’ from their 2011 album ‘Wasting Light’ .

They followed it up with a run of ‘No Son Of Mine’, ‘Rescued’, ‘The Pretender’, ‘Times Like These’, ‘La Dee Da’, ‘Breakout’, ‘Medicine At Midnight’ and ‘Walk’.

The second half of the gig boasted airings of classics such as ‘My Hero’, ‘Learn To Fly’, ‘All My Life’, ‘Monkey Wrench’ and ‘Best Of You’, as well as songs like ‘Arlandria’, ‘These Days’, ‘Shame Shame’ and ‘The Glass’.

For the two-track encore, Foo Fighters played ‘The Teacher’ from their 2023 album ‘But Here We Are’ before closing out the night with ‘Everlong’. The group took to the stage following an opening slot from Nova Twins .

Foo Fighters kicked off their 2024 tour (get tickets here ) on Wednesday, May 1st at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas, and paid tribute to hometown hero Dimebag Darrell during the show. Fittingly, Dave Grohl dedicated “My Hero” to the late Pantera guitarist.

In fan-filmed video (watch below), Grohl starts playing “My Hero” on guitar and addresses the crowd: “This one’s for everybody. Actually, you know what, since we’re here in Dallas, I’m gonna dedicate this one to an old friend. He lived around here. His name is Dimebag Darrell. How ’bout that? We’ll sing it for Darrell.”

From there, Grohl leads the crowd in a rousing sing-along, as the rest of the band joins in halfway through for an impassioned performance of the classic Foo Fighters hit.

Grohl has spoken of his friendship with Dimebag in the past, even recounting a wild story that about a strip club and a road trip gone bad that involved Dime and his brother Vinnie Paul.

“My Hero” was part of a 24-song, two-hour-and-45-minutes set in Dallas. The show kicked off with “Bridge Burning” and “No Son of Mine” (with a little bit of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”), and featured four songs from the Foos’ latest album, 2023’s But Here We Are .

Of course, the band also played the hits, including “The Pretender,” “All My Life,” “Best of You,” and the show-closer, “Everlong.” Toward the end of the set, Grohl dedicated the song “Aurora” to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

As is tradition for the Foos, the band also played a medley of cover songs that included Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage,” Ramones’ “Blitzkrieg Bop,” and Nine Inch Nails’ “March of the Pigs.”

Foo Fighters’ 2024 tour continues Friday night (May 3rd) with a set at the New Orleans Jazz Fest , and includes a handful more US festival and headlining dates in May. The band will then hit the UK and Europe in June and early July, before returning to the States for a stadium tour this summer. Tickets to the upcoming shows are available here .
