The lady who finally helped me would have got 5 stars - Sherice Brooks and I thank her for her help. However I have had a very difficult time trying to get the free at sea package added and in the end NCL had to liaise with Cruise Nation as they kept saying I couldnt have it. I made multiple phone calls to sort this out as I had made the booking online and thought it was included.

I had a problem with my Computer …

I had a problem with my Computer printing off my Travel Documents. Mainly caused by myself through lack of knowledge of the computer. Two young ladies spent an awful amount of time sorting it out and I am so thankful to Sally for what She did. I was getting worried and could not have been better looked after. Sally you have made us so happy and are looking forward to joining the ship.

I had some questions regarding the cruise I had booked so called customer service. I was pleasantly surprised that I got connected to a customer service rep almost straight away after making the usual selection. Sherice was nice, friendly and helpful and was happy to advise and assist. @ management of cruise nation - Sherice has done an excellent job and has given me as a first time customer a very positive experience which made me want to return as a customer again. I usually book through another cruise…

I usually book through another cruise company but decided to go with cruise nation as the deal was good. Okay for booking but since then when I’ve wanted to make changes, they are not helpful at all. Don’t return calls when promised and just not interested at helping existing customers at all. Never again!

Second to none!

Since my booking I have had to contact Cruise Nation a few times for one thing or another and every time they have been outstanding. So helpful, so polite, so professional, the best customer experience I have ever had with a company. I had to make contact when I arrived in Miami and Kimberley Wilson was fantastic. Great Customer Service as usual

Sherice was extremely helpful and charming. She listened to our query about our tickets and immediately took the necessary action to get them sent to us ASAP. Stunning customer service

I hadn't booked a cruise before but on lots of recommendations I booked online with Cruise Nation and I'm so pleased I did! I've had a couple of queries re changing cabins and booking some extras and these were dealt with amazingly and speedily by Kimberley and Rachel. Amazing Support

In January we had to disembark from an MSC cruise due to my son being taken into hospital as an emergency. With the help of Cruise Nation, MSC allowed a cruise credit for half the cost. A cruise was subsequently booked in March commencing on the 3rd June. However, there was a problem applying the credit in accordance with the MSC terms. This caused a huge problem. Cruise Nation resolved the issue so that the cruise could go ahead. They went above and beyond. Special thanks to Natasha Crossley, Alan Hill and Katie King.

Above and beyond...

I contacted Holland America yesterday to see if they could provide some assistance at embarkation for my husband, who has limited mobility. They sent me a special needs form to fill in and a couple of hours later I heard from Rachel Sullivan at Cruise Nation. Japan Warns of Elevated Risk of Giant Earthquake After Strong One Hits

The official warning came after a 7.1-magnitude temblor struck off the coast of southern Japan on Thursday.

Japan’s meteorological agency said on Thursday that there was a higher-than-usual chance that an immense earthquake could hit the country in the next few days, following a 7.1-magnitude temblor off the southern island of Kyushu.

Japan has long expected a major earthquake to occur along the Nankai Trough off its eastern coast. As of last year, researchers said there was a 60 percent chance that an earthquake of magnitude 8 to 9 — even more devastating than the one in 2011 that laid waste to the country’s northeast coast and knocked out cooling systems at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant — would occur in the trough area over the next 20 years.

After the 7.1-magnitude quake on Thursday, Japan’s meteorological agency convened a group of experts to evaluate whether it could be related to the long-anticipated bigger disaster, called a “Nankai Trough megathrust earthquake.”

Experts warn that an earthquake between two tectonic plates that converge along the Nankai megathrust fault, which runs from Kyushu north through Tokyo, could cause devastation. It could extensively damage cities throughout Japan, potentially cause a tsunami and lead to hundreds of thousands of deaths.

“The possibility of a large-scale earthquake occurring in the area of ​​the Nankai Trough is relatively higher than usual,” the meteorological agency said in a statement late Thursday.

The risk that an earthquake of magnitude of 8 or higher would occur after one with a magnitude of 7 is particularly elevated for about a week after the initial temblor, the agency said.

Japan’s meteorological agency issued a “caution” level of warning on Thursday. The next step up would be an “alert,” which would advise residents to evacuate from areas deemed a tsunami risk. The agency said it was the first time Japan had issued a “caution.”

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida urged people to ensure that they were ready at all times in case an earthquake occurred and they had to evacuate. He told reporters that the government was on high alert.

Earlier on Thursday, a tsunami advisory was issued for coastal regions on the southern Japanese islands of Kyushu and Shikoku after the 7.1-magnitude quake. As of late Thursday evening, the maximum height of waves recorded reached about a foot and a half off the coast of Miyazaki Prefecture on Kyushu.

A handful of injuries but no deaths were reported related to the earthquake. Footage showed images of strong shaking in buildings in Miyazaki Prefecture, but damage in the area appeared to be minimal. The earthquake occurred less than 20 miles off the coast of Miyazaki, according to the United States Geological Survey.

Bullet train service was temporarily halted on Kyushu, and the Miyazaki Airport suspended takeoffs and landings to inspect runways for any damage. Both bullet train and airport operations resumed later Thursday evening.

The Kyushu Electric Power Company said its nuclear power plants were operating normally.

Separate from the heightened possibility of a Nankai Trough earthquake, Japan’s meteorological agency advised being alert for aftershocks of a similar magnitude off the eastern coast of Miyazaki Prefecture over the next week. It said that landslides could also be a risk if there is rain in the coming days.

Great Customer Service from Rachel at Cruise Nation

I have booked a cruise with Cruise Nation, but the cruise excursions are direct with the cruise company. I had 1 of our party booked on a tour, but needed to add another. Cruise company not very helpful and advised to go to my travel agent. Engaged with Rachel from Cruise Nation, after a couple of emails (my fault for not adding all the details) and a phone call from Rachel, I now have 2 people going on the tour. Really disappointed with cruise nation

Really disappointed with cruise nation, we used them because they had been great 4 years ago but no longer. We have school aged kids, cruise nation took ages to allocate our flights and when they did we were allocated return flights landing at 00:40 on a Monday morning at an airport 4 hours away from our house - hopeless when the kids are due in school later that day. They used the most budget airline they could find and we ended up having to pay extra to get flights that arrived back at a more appropriate time. We got an email 15 days before we were due to travel from Cruise Nation telling us that we must log in to the Norwegian Cruise Line site and register out details a minimum of 21 days before we travelled 🤔. Finally - we have ended up having to pay an additional charge to book seats on the Wizz air flight. Not something you would expect to do with a package holiday of this price. We won't use Cruise Nation again, it's a shame because they were great a few years ago - sadly very different now 🙁.

Thank you for your review, I have taken a look into this for you & can see one of our managers had been in contact and re booked the flights for you and explained this further. In regards to seating with Wizz air, to allocate your seats there is a charge for this, terms can be found on their website this is not included in the package cost unfortunately. However if you didn't pay they would ensure you were allocated seats and would ensure an adult would be sat with the children. I do apologies & we will certainly take your feedback on board and put in place any required training and improvements where necessary.

Well and truly disappointed and…

Well and truly disappointed and disgusted with Cruise Nation, my best friend and I booked a Caribbean Cruise with this company. The Cruise was with The Royal Caribbean and to be fair they were very good. However we booked a package where the return flight would be Business Class. At the check in the attendant said Cruise Nation has forgotten to inform us we should be on Business Class and there's nothing we can do about it now, despite us showing the attendant all the correspondence and documentation the Airline wasn't having any if it. We then had to travel back in Economy. The point is we booked a specific package with Cruise Nation, and it was important we traveled back on Business Class as we were both working the following day and needed the sleep. After our return we complained to Cruise Nation who took over 6 weeks to reply and then wanted more time, in the end the cheap skates offered a dismal £250 in vouchers for future bookings, needless to say we have taken further action.

Booked a last minute MSC virtuosa sailing. About a week prior to departure. Incredibly easy to navigate the booking process online on the CN website. We upgraded to balcony for an incredibly low price. Once booked confirmation came through very quickly and directed me to complete passenger info on msc. Again. Very easy. We are already watching for a sept sailing. Cruise nation get really great deals and we will absolutely book with them again. I needed assistance and sent an email. I recieved a response within a couple of hours. With all the info I needed. Whatever you are doing cruise nation….keep on doing it. Those deals you advertise online DO exist and are available.
