In a sacred space, your footsteps echo out over the soft murmuring of the gathered crowd. You almost can’t decide where to look – the intricate forest of branching columns, the glittering stained glass windows that glow in the walls, or the tall vaulted ceilings that rise up above you for what seems like miles. You may not be able to put to words exactly what you feel, but you feel the presence of something here. Humbling and awe-inspiring excursions are the foundations of Faith tours. A 6-day Pilgrimage to the Shrines of Quebec, Canada

Canada pilgrimage sites include:.

Shrines of Saint Anne de Beaupre, Our Lady of the Cape, Saint Josephs Oratory & more.

Would you like to lead your parish or group on this pilgrimage? Click Here to get started.

Day 1 USA / QUEBEC CITY Today we depart on our flight to Canada, arriving in Quebec City in the afternoon where we meet our Pilgrimage Tours tour director. Upon our arrival, we enjoy a scenic tour of the multi cultural city with its French and English flavors. We see the historic Palace Royale that will capture your imagination of years gone by. Next we see the Citadelle, the star-shaped plain, the plain of Abraham and the Chateau Frontenac. Finally we arrive at our hotel for dinner and overnight in Quebec City.

Day 2 QUEBEC CITY / SAINT ANNE de BEAUPRE This morning we visit the Shrine of St. Anne de Beaupré and enjoy our day at this site where over 1.5 million pilgrims come each year Shrines of Canada Pilgrimage to express their devotion to the mother of the Virgin Mary to whom this site has been consecrated since the mid 17th century. We celebrate Mass in the Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupré followed by a guided tour of the basilica, visiting a depiction of St. Anne, known as The Statue of Miracles, which sees thousands of pilgrims each year placing their prayers of petition at its base. We will also visit the museum, seeing the annals of devotion to St. Anne down through the centuries as well as the stirring story of pilgrimages to the shrine. We participate in the Stations of the Cross. Following dinner at a local restaurant, we join in the Rosary and Candlelight Procession. Overnight in Quebec City.

Day 3 QUEBEC CITY / TROIS-RIVIERES This morning we celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Quebec. Following Mass, we visit one of Quebec’s natural treasures, Montmorency Falls, located just east of Quebec City at the mouth of the Montmorency River. The falls are over 250 feet high, the highest in the province and 88 feet higher than Niagara Falls. Finally, we continue on to Trois-Rivieres and the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape. Dinner and overnight in Trois-Rivieres.

Day 4 TROIS-RIVIERES / OUR LADY OF THE CAPE Today we enjoy our formal visit to Our Lady of The Cape. Our celebration of Mass will be at the Basilica of Notre Dame Cap de la Madeleine. Sitting on the shores of the St. Lawrence River and Canada pilgrimage Basilica of Notre Dame midway between Montreal and Quebec City, Cap de la Madeleine is a place of peace, tranquility and beauty. Its history goes back to 1634 when the area was first settled. The following year the first Jesuit Missionaries arrived to serve the settlers of the new village. The first little timber chapel was built here in 1659 on a small piece of land known as Blessed Marys fief. Five years later it was to become the first of Canadas Catholic churches to be dedicated as a Confraternity of the Holy Rosary, a very new form of prayerful devotion to Our Lady at that time. We will join in the afternoons Rosary, followed by free time at the shrine. Dinner and overnight in Trois-Rivieres.

Day 5 TROIS-RIVIERES / MONTREAL / ST. JOSEPH’S ORATORY This morning we depart for Montreal where upon our arrival we enjoy a motor coach tour of the city, followed by a visit to the great basilica, Saint Josephs Oratory, built atop Mount Royale and recognized as one of the great temples of the world. This sacred place was long the dream and life’s work of Brother André, who was canonized in 2010. Here we will learn about the extraordinary life of the humble Brother André of the Holy Cross. Like many sacred places in various countries, the Oratory, which has room for 10,000 people, attracts visitors who seek a haven of peace and a spiritual encounter. There are several such temples in the Christian world of the Occident. Only three are found at the heart of important cities: Saint Peters Basilica in Rome, the Sanctuary of Montmartre in Paris and Saint Josephs Oratory in Montreal. We enjoy a guided tour of the Oratory, confessions will be heard and we celebrate Mass. Our day ends with a visit to Notre Dame Basilica, one of the most beautiful churches in all of North America. Dinner and overnight in Montreal.

Day 6 MONTREAL / USA Following breakfast this morning, we visit and celebrate Mass at the Mary Queen of the World Cathedral. Following Mass, we enjoy some free time before we bid Canada farewell and depart for the airport and our return flight home. Though our Canada pilgrimage has come to an end, the blessings of our time with the Lord and Our Lady are certain to strengthen and encourage us throughout our lifelong pilgrimage.

We went on a church group to the Holyland with IBMT Tours and had a great trip, everything was planned for us perfectly. There was over 123 people in four different bus groups and things went smoothly, I thought it was going to be hectic with that many people in the group but IBMT did a wonderful job and made sure the buses did not go convoy, every bus had its own time table and itinerary for the day, our guide Dani was so knowledgeable and loving. We love you IBMT and we will recommend you guys. Thanks for everything you have done for us.

For years, it had been a deep desire of mine to lead a group of pilgrims to the Holy Land.  I’m not sure how it happened (perhaps the grace of God), but I ended up working with Israel Biblical Mission Tours (IBMT) and specifically Ornan Sharaby.   Because I had never led a group like this before, I needed guidance.  Ornan and his team were wonderfully helpful.  They answered all my questions, and never seemed irritated when I called or emailed with what some might have considered a “Silly question.”  Then, when it was close to departure time, I had some apprehensions.  Ornan assured me that he had taken care of everything.  On the day of our departure, we (a group of 27) had no issues whatsoever.  As predicted, everything was “Taken care of.”  The flight experience was good.

Upon our arrival in Israel, the bus and the guide were waiting for us, took us to our Hotel, and we slept well.  We departed on our experience the next morning.

As we progressed day by day, my wife and I were extremely pleased (as was the entire group).  Every detail of our trip was laid out, and we were treated so very well by everyone.  We experienced no difficulties at all.  It was truly better than we had anticipated.  My compliments to IBMT, and to Ornan and his team.  I simply cannot imagine things going any better.  Our itinerary was wonderful, our bus, and driver were phenomenal, and our guide was friendly, fun, and extremely knowledgeable.  They all made sure that we had an incredible Holy Experience…and we DID!

Every single member of our trip was overwhelmed with the experience, and went out of their way to tell me that their Holy Land Pilgrimage exceeded their expectations.

Finally, on our last day in Israel, our driver and our guide, expressed their appreciation to us, and made sure that we arrived at the airport on time, and then our guide took up to the right place and helped us get checked in.

I therefore, with no trepidation whatsoever, very highly recommend IBMT and Mr. Ornan Sharaby when you plan your Holy Land experience.  You could not be in better hands.

Sincerely, Pastor Stan Patterson Church 213  Covington, Georgia

This was an incredible tour of Israel with IBMT Tours and I loved the additional trip to Petra as well. We had a very knowledgeable guide from Israel who gave us an extensive explanation of everything we saw in Israel. All of the hotels I stayed in were great with comfortable beds and wonderful buffet breakfasts!!

Dear Brother Ornan and Brother Thomas,

We, KBCUSA had a wonderful time with IBMT Holy Land Tour in November 2014. It was really great joy for our group, the members of Karen Baptist Churches USA. You have fulfilled our great expectation to visit the Holy Land. We all appreciate for your well arrangement for excellent hotels, Tours and the tour guide and the drivers as well. Especially we appreciate for your kind arrangement from Canada even we were on the Tour in Israel and the warmly and kind assists of Mr. Thomas Portmann who taking care of us as his family. We really enjoy the trip with IBMT. And this year, we will be going to Israel with your Tour again. I would like to invite you to visit and present about the upcoming tour at our KBCUSA annual meeting which will be held in Buffalo in July 23-15, 2015. We expect about 500 people at the conference.

Thanks and God bless you.

My trip to the Holy Land Israel

It is a dream trip is a desired journey, but God is the one who knows when your turn is and when is your time. Since I was at a young age I always wanted to know the world. I thought where Jesus was born, my love for God and my faith; it grew and grew inside of me and with it to know the steps of Jesus. I dreamed about knowing of what I have always heard where Jesus was born, where the Angel Gabriel came to the Virgin Mary and to know where Jesus was born and suffered so much on his way with the cross. Well my dream came true and even more because I received a wonderful grace of the Lord that I know that everyone that visit those distant and blessed lands of the lord receive with open arms and those who seeks him receive his blessing if you come with open heart. It happened I went in the search of my heart to have an encounter with the Lord and I found it, I meet where he walked, where he suffer, where he celebrated his last dinner even where he was born and was happy healing the poor and those who knew of him.

One day my daughter Paloma tells me Mom go to Holy Land, go to Israel she said because she knows that in my heart I knew that I had this thirst the one that it will not heal with any water only with the water that only the Lord knows how to take away. I stared at her and I said to her ok Paloma I want to go, she stood up like guided by the Holy Spirit and immediately started to make arrangements. I still did not understand that God used her so that I can go in search of him, that he had plans for me.

She like the Sheppard contacted Mr. Ornan at Holyland Tours and it was the best decision since we wanted to find the right person to do a religious tour, but I turn up short because it was not only a religious tour with the content discipline and knowledge of the history that our tour guide made this experience masterly

I know that everything was prepared by this gentleman, the attention, the good service offered by Mr. Ornan, and after arriving to my first destination Tel Aviv I was to be reunited with my group and to begin our crossing it was something wonderful a trip that I will never forget and without being afraid of being wrong with my age 47 years old it was the best trip I ever had.

These where places that where impregnated in my heart and specially the Old City where I had the divine experience with the lord, where I felt that God touched my heart where I felt that I was not there by accident that I was in this place because God had a plan for me.

I invite everyone that have not yet been to visit these holy places and the land of God to go, to give yourself this wonderful gift because this will change your life and heart, we know how we arrive but we do not know how we will leave. It is so that I assure you that if you arrive with your hearts open and are willing to let god fill you with love you will receive his blessing not only for yourself but for your family as well, give yourself this gift and let god heal you and blessed your heart and give yourself the opportunity to Walk in the Footsteps of Jesus

Dear Thomas:

It was my intention to write to you upon returning from Israel, to tell you how awesome and wonderful the tour turned out to be.

Thomas, I am still in awe of the modernity and beauty of Israel , even though I know that my level of enjoyment and excitement there could have been much less were my cousin and I not fortunate enough to have the intelligence, knowledgeable and dedicated tour guide that Doron Kaufman was / is. I took a total of 1,750 photos; I will be making a photobook from them.

About our guide Doron — He was always pleasant (smiling) and caring, the best tour guide I have ever experienced. His impartation of what he knows about Israel is in its own ilk and he made every trip seem special.

It will interest you to know that I’ve been selling Israel to all my friends, work colleagues and family, telling all how safe I felt under the guidance of your representative and for them to be sure to book a trip there at some time via IBMT Tours’ Thomas Portman. I also encouraged each to ensure t that their tour guide be none other than Doron Kaufman.

So, until my next trip to Israel and with warmest wishes and kindest regards.

Our U.S. & Canada tours offer a unique blend of breathtaking scenery of our national parks and nation’s landmarks, a celebration of mankind’s ingenuity and the American spirit, and a vast assortment of regional cultures & cuisines. We invite you to join us as our special guest on one of our US & Canada tours.

Below is a list of tour packages departing in 2024.

Many group options available, contact us today for a group quote click here, scheduled 2024 & 2025 u.s. & canada tours, u.s. tours: frequently asked questions.

What is the best month for a U.S. tour?

There’s no “best” time of year to visit the U.S. because there are so many factors to consider. Different parts of the country have vastly different climates, and you may not want to visit a scorching hot region during the heat of the summer. Because the weather is warmer during the summer, that’s the most popular season for tourism in the U.S.. If you want to avoid large crowds and don’t mind cooler weather, spring and fall are also great times to visit. We offer U.S. tours throughout the year, so you can find a tour that fits your schedule and offers the right itinerary.

How many days do you need for a U.S. tour?

Our USA tour packages vary a lot in terms of length, so the length of your tour depends on which package you choose. Our shortest U.S. tours last for about a week, with our longest tours lasting nearly two weeks. Because the United States is such a large country, each of our tours covers a specific region of the country. If you want to see everything the U.S. has to offer, you may want to consider booking a few of our tours. You can check out specific tour packages to learn more about our U.S. & Europe tours .

What is the dress code in the U.S.?

Visiting the U.S. is great because the country is pretty laid-back as a whole. There’s no strict dress code in the U.S., so you can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Because the climate varies so much depending on where you’re at in the country, you should research the areas you’re visiting before packing for your trip. You may want to bring a parka and boots if you’re visiting Alaska, Minnesota or Michigan, but you may not need to pack warm if you’re visiting Texas or Arizona.

Is there a lot of walking involved on a U.S. Tour?

All of our tours — from Iceland tours to United States of America tour packages — involve some amount of walking, but the amount depends on the tour you book. Some of our tours involve more walking than others, so check out each itinerary and contact us if you have any questions or concerns about walking during your tour. We always recommend packing a comfortable pair of shoes that provide support and cushioning for your feet.

What passport & visa information do I need for your U.S. tours?

If you are a U.S. citizen, you do not need a passport for our U.S. tours unlike if you were traveling on one of our Germany tours . For anyone with non U.S. citizenship, you’ll need a valid passport as well as a visitor visa (B-2) before you go. It can take several months for your passport application to be approved — even if you pay for expedited processing — so make sure you’ve secured your passport and determine the visitor visa guidelines before booking one of our vacation tour packages in the USA.

What common languages will be spoken during the U.S. tours?

Unlike many other countries, the U.S. is very different culturally depending on where you’re at in the country. The Southern United States is right near the border of Mexico, which means there’s a higher Spanish-speaking population in these areas. The east coast of the country is closer to Europe, so there are more European immigrants there. On the West Coast, you’ll find more people of Asian descent than in other parts of the country. English is commonly spoken throughout the U.S..

What currency can I use on a U.S. tour?

The U.S. uses the U.S. Dollar as its currency, which can also be found in many other countries throughout the world. You can convert your currency to USD before taking off, or you can use a foreign currency exchange in the U.S. to convert to USD. Whether you’re visiting the U.S. or taking one of our Turkey tours , it’s always nice to have some spending money.

Do I need to bring a converter for the U.S. tour?

There are two types of outlets used in the U.S. — type A and B. If you’re from another country that uses these outlets, you’re good to go. Otherwise, consider investing in an all-in-one converter that lets you use your devices whether you’re in America or on one of our Israel tours .

What is the time zone for your U.S. tours?

There are several time zones in the U.S., so it depends on which of our United States tour packages you choose. There are four time zones in the contiguous United States — Pacific, Mountain, Central and Eastern. There are also different time zones in Alaska, Hawaii and other surrounding areas.

What climate should I expect during my U.S. tour?

The climate in the U.S. varies a lot depending on where and when you travel. The South is extremely warm and sunny during the summer, while the North is often cold and snowy during the winter. Climates also vary a lot depending on the season — even in particularly warm or cold regions.
