Es können Touren von 3-7 Tagen inklusive Vollverpflegung an Bord gebucht werden, ganz nach Ihren individuellen Wünschen.  Bei den Touren ab Hirtshals  sind die Zielfische hauptsächlich Dorsch, Seelachs und Pollack. Aber auch andere Arten wie z.B. Seewolf, Seehecht, Leng, Makrele und Plattfische gehen manchmal an den Haken. Es gibt also eine große Artenvielfalt.  Bei den Touren ab Helsingør  geht es im Winter hauptsächlich auf die großen Heringe im Öresund. In den Monaten Oktober und November zusätzlich auch auf Dorsch und Makrele.

Das Schiff verfügt über einen gemütlichen Salon, wo die Mahlzeiten eingenommen werden können, sowie über gemütliche Kabinen mit insgesamt 14 Kojen. Vielfältiges Angeln auf Bornholm

Angeln auf Bornholm ist Waten auf Meerforelle, Trolling auf Lachs, Pilken auf Dorsch, Angeln im Süßwasser auf Hecht, Barsch, Forelle und Friedfisch.

Angeln an Bornholms Küsten

Auch das Meeresangeln vom Ufer ist sehr viel versprechend. Meerforellen, Lachse, Dorsche, Heringe, Plattfische, Aale, Barsche und Hechte sind nur einige der Arten, die hier gefangen werden können. Auf 140 Kilometer Küstenlinie findet jeder Angler sein persönliches Paradies. Aus welcher Richtung auch immer der Wind weht, es gibt immer eine gute Stelle zum Fischen.

Das Meeresangeln vom Boot auf Dorsch und Lachs und das Spinn- und Fliegenfischen auf Meerforelle haben Bornholm unter Sportanglern berühmt gemacht. Durch intensive Besatzmaßnahmen von Sälmlingen aus der Lachsaufzucht in Nexø und dank der großen Wassertiefen rund um die Insel sind die Bedingungen ideal für den Lachs. Vor allem im Winterhalbjahr sind Superfänge möglich.

Bootsangeln vor Bornholm

Mehr und mehr gerät das ganz ausgezeichnete Angeln auf Dorsch in den Blickpunkt der Angler. Nirgends sind die Möglichkeiten, einen kapitalen Sommerdorsch zu erbeuten, besser als vor Bornholm. Sie werden über den Steinfeldern gepilkt oder beim Wrackangeln bei den zahllosen Wracks in bis zu 80 Meter Wassertiefe gepumpt. Überraschend ist dabei das hohe Durchschnittsgewicht der Dorsche. Die Bornholmer Kutter fahren zumeist im Sommer mit Anglern raus, es werden aber auch Touren von Sassnitz aus angeboten.

Vor allem werden dabei der Adlergrund und die Rønnebank befischt. Der Adlergrund liegt westlich von Bornholm (54 47 11° N und 14 20 99° E) und ist ein Unterwasserriff, das von 60 Metern bis auf 5 Meter ansteigt. Es wird von den Berufsfischern gemieden, da hier Netzverluste vorprogrammiert sind.

Bekannt ist Bornholm aber auch für sein überragendes Lachs-Trolling. So finden regelmäßig die Trolling-Masters statt, die vom dänischen Fernsehen live übertragen werden. Wer kein eigenes Trollingboot hat, kann auf die hiesigen Experten zurückgreifen, die den Angler mit großem Erfolg zum Fisch bringen

Die Fischarten auf Bornholm

• Meerforelle: Die Meerforelle ist überall an Bornholms Küsten anzutreffen und mit der Spinnrute ebenso wie mit der Fliegenrute zu erbeuten. Bitte beachte die Schutzzonen um die Bacheinläufe und die Schonzeiten für Fische mit Laichfärbung. Die beste Zeit ist vom Ende der Schonzeit bis Mai.
• Lachs: Er ist der unbestrittene König unter Bornholms Fischen. Vor allem vom Boot aus wird er in kapitalen Größen gefangen. Sein Hauptvorkommen ist im östlichen Teil der Insel von Dueodde bis Hammeren. Die besten Monate sind von November bis April, es kann aber ganzjährig mit Erfolg geschleppt werden.
• Plattfisch: Es wird auf Bornholm seltener auf Plattfische geangelt. Aussichtsreich ist der Hafen von Rønne, das Gebiet südöstlich von Gudhjem und vor allem die Strecke von Hammeren bis Helligpeder. Dort fängst du auch den begehrten Steinbutt. Da die Ostsee hier einen nur geringen Salzgehalt hat, gibt es auch keine Wattwürmer. Angeln Sie daher mit Fischfetzen oder Tauwürmern.
• Hornhecht: Hornhechte gibt es wie die Meerforelle rund um die Insel, wobei die besten Stellen im Süden/Südwesten liegen, da es hier deutlich flacher ist. Saison für den Hornhecht ist von Mitte Mai bis Oktober.
• Dorsch: Die größten Chancen auf Dorsch hat man vom Boot aus und in der kalten Jahreszeit. Dafür kann man dann viele und vor allem große Dorsche überlisten. Aber auch für kapitale Sommerdorsche ist Bornholm bekannt. Wer kein eigenes Boot hat, mietet sich auf Bornholm eines oder fährt mit dem Kutter raus. Da teilweise in tiefem Wasser geangelt wird und die Strömungen kräftig sind, ist es angebracht, neben der leichten Pilkausrüstung auch kräftiges Geschirr mitzunehmen. Die Ködergewichte gehen bis 400 Gramm. Gute Plätze sind das Arnager Rev im Süden und das tiefe Wasser im Norden Bornholms.
• Hering: Entgegen den Saisonzeiten der westlichen Ostsee sind die besten Monate auf Hering August und September. Von allen Hafenmolen aus ist das begehrte Silber dann zu fangen. Hot Spots sind die Außenmole von Rønne und die Mole von Hammerhavn. Die beste Tageszeit ist die Abenddämmerung.
• Hecht: Im brackigen Wasser werden Hechte bis 20 Pfund beim Meerforellenangeln als Beifang gelandet. Wer gezielt Hechte fangen möchte, versucht sein Glück an der Küste von Listed und in der Salne Bucht oder im Hafen vom Rønne.

Angelstellen auf Bornholm

Meerforellen kannst Du rund um die gesamte Insel erbeuten, aber auch die weiteren Fischarten verheißen echte Angelfreuden:

• Dueodde: Westlich und östlich der Landspitze Hornhechte
• Nexø: Dorsche vom Ufer aus
• Årsdale – Svaneke: Neben Dorschen gibt es hier auch Lachse, im Herbst fängst du bei Svaneke Hering
• Listed: Hot Spot auf Hecht, die hier bis 20 Pfund schwer werden können
• Gudhjem: Östlich von Gudhjem ist eine ausgezeichnete Stelle für Plattfische, im Westen für Hechte.
• Hammeren: An der Nordspitze fängst du Meerforellen und Dorsche
• Hammeren – Helligpeder: Hier fängst du Plattfische. Im südlichen Teil hast du ausgezeichnete Chancen auf Steinbutt, vor allem vom verankerten Boot aus.
• Rønne – Dueodde: Abwechslungsreiches Revier mit Dorsch, Hornhecht und Meerforelle

Süßwasserangeln af Bornholm

Nicht nur im Salzwasser kannst du hervorragend angeln, wenn du auf Bornholm bist. Auch die Binnengewässer haben vieles zu bieten. Du fängst hier Raubfische, Salmoniden und Friedfische.

Erweiterter Schutz für Lachse und Meerforellen in Salzwasser

• Schonzeit für Lachs und Meerforelle: 16. September bis 28. (29.) Februar: Im Salzwasser gilt die Schonzeit für Lachs und Forelle nur für Fische mit Laichfärbung, d.h. für bräunlich gefärbte Fische. Während der Schonzeit dürfen nur ganz blanke Fische mit losen Schuppen dem Wasser entnommen werden. Fische mit Laichfärbung müssen umgehend und sehr vorsichtig wieder eingesetzt werden.
• Entnahmebegrenzung: Pro Tag und Angler dürfen maximal drei Meerforellen entnommen werden, egal ob vom Ufer oder vom Boot aus.

Hallo Falls jemand von euch schon erste Erfahrungen mit dem neuen Standort der MS Jule bei Daniel auf Bornholm hat , wären einige Erfahrungsberichte sehr interessant ;-) Gerade auch bezüglich der Tiefe , in der geangelt wurde und dem Fangerfolg Vielen Dank im Voraus Gruß Rainer

Hallo Axel Dieser Fangstop ist komplett neu für mich. Damit ist auf jeden Fall das angeln ohne Baglimit in der Ostsee vorbei. Wir haben ja im Juni vor Bornholm selber leidvoll erfahren , dass nichts über 50 cm in der Gegend an Dorsch zu finden ist. Da ist das Fangverbot nur eine logische Konsequenz . Das damit aber wiederum die Westseite über Gebühr belastet wird leider auch .

Deshalb ja auch 7 Dorsche pro Nase. Ich fahre Donnerstag in die Lübecker Bucht mal schauen was da am Haken oder vor der Kamera ist.  

Ich habe eben gelesen dass das Verbot nur für die Berufsfischerei gilt. Zumindest bis Ende des Jahres danach neues.  

Das ist für die Angler natürlich grundsätzlich eine gute Nachricht - dadurch werden die Fische aber leider auch nicht größer

War heute mit der Jule von Hasle aus auf der östlichen Ostsee. Wie ihr bestimmt alle wisst geht die Grenze westliche/östliche Ostsee mitten durch Bornholm. Daniel fährt in den östlichen Teil. Wir waren direkt an der Fahrrinne und haben wirklich gut gefangen. Haben unser Maß bei ü 50cm festgelegt, wir können uns nicht beschweren . Daniel war zuvorkommend wie immer, auch sein Bootshelfer war immer zur Stelle sobald Hilfe nötig war. Wir haben die 6 Stunden Tour gebucht, war für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Angeltiefe lag bei 45m und wir sind mit 150g ausgezeichnet zurechtgekommen .  

@mavo Danke - genau SO hatte ich mir eigentlich den Normalfall im Bereich Bornholm vorgestellt. Aber Ihr scheint eher die Ausnahme zu sein .

Puzzling out Moscow for visitors under 30

Hugging strangers, reciting poetry and looking for bird-shaped graffiti is not usually part of a city tour—but Moscow Game Tour is no ordinary company.

Nikita Bogdanov, 25, founder of the company, says: “It’s not a regular tour, it’s a quest. You interact with Russian people, and you gain more experience.”

Moscow Game Tour is one of a new breed of innovative tours run by and for young people. They are either low-cost or free, and prioritise interacting with locals over traditional sightseeing.

Mr Bogdanov started Moscow Game Tour in 2009 to encourage visitors to explore areas outside the city centre. In the tour, which costs 700 roubles (about $22), participants are “players” and complete challenges that lead them to clues in the shape of a matryoshka doll.

Many tasks involve asking passers-by for directions or trying a Russian phrase. Along the way, players discover interesting features such as a monastery canteen, or a Socialist Realist statue.

Some clues are easier to locate than others. “There was one spot that we absolutely could not find,” says Vera Baranova, 25, who took part in a quest at Tsaritsyno Park in south-east Moscow. “When we asked someone, it turned out that we were actually right on top of it.”

Mr Bogdanov also operates the Moscow Free Tour, which provides an overview of major sites between Kitai Gorod and the Kremlin free of charge. In peak season, this more traditional outing attracts between a dozen and 40 people every day; the Game Tour runs only once or twice a week and usually attracts between five and 10 participants. Convincing visitors to sign up for an unconventional tour can be a challenge. “The Free Tour is more popular because it’s more easily understandable,” Mr Bogdanov says. “For the Game Tour, you need to explain to people what it is.”

Business has picked up as Mr Bogdanov has formed relationships with hotels, major tour agencies including TUI and companies such as Google. This year, he also began receiving support from Moscow’s Committee for Tourism and the Hotel Industry, which has launched a programme called “Moscow Fresh” to support creative tourism.

In addition to the Free Tour and Game Tour, Mr Bogdanov’s company offers daily paid-for tours with a variety of themes. The retro Communist Tour visits central Soviet landmarks, including the Lubyanka (former headquarters of the KGB); the Gulag Museum; a Soviet-style canteen and Eliseevsky, a regal shop on Tverskaya Street considered the grandest store in the Soviet Union (which these days sells imported French yoghurt and other modern luxuries).

Visitors can also venture below ground on the Metro Tour.  The latter stops at some of the most ornate stations in Moscow’s beloved Stalinist metro system, such as the mosaic-adorned Komsomolskaya. In an attempt to supply visitors with information beyond the average pocket guide, the tour recounts little-known facts about the metro, such as how many babies have been born on it.

Alexei Sotskov, 30, was inspired to start Moscow Greeter , a local franchise of the international Greeter network, after giving informal tours to friends. “I have a lot of friends in foreign countries, and when they come to Moscow I show them interesting places. So I thought it would be a great idea to start running a tourist service,” he says.

The greeters are mostly students learning English who take visitors to lesser-known sights, such as the former royal estate Kolomenskoye, as well as exhibitions and sporting events. The greeters not only show the tourists around but they also chat to them. “Greeters talk about their lives, their parents, where they’re from in Moscow, and where they study,” says Mr Sotskov. 

“Traditional guides just give people information they read in a book.”

Valentina Lebedeva, a second-year linguistics student, has been a greeter for two months. “When most people come to Moscow, they visit the Kremlin and everything, but they go back and they still don’t really get how people really live here,” she says.

“Greeters offers tourists a good way to get a real impression of Russia, so that you don’t just visit the usual tourist sights.”

Another unconventional tour company, Lovely Russia , also strives to provide a more engaging experience for tourists. “A lot of the tours I saw being run by tour providers were really boring, just buses with large crowds of 60 year-olds,” says the company’s co-founder Anna Shegurova, 25. “There was not a lot for a younger crowd, a more off-the-beaten-path kind of thing.” Lovely Russia offers a variety of $22 tours in English. Locations include metro stations, Constructivist landmarks and a “Moscow as it is” outing that winds through the city’s side streets. At the end of the tour, guides suggest places where participants can enjoy a beer.

Ms Shegurova says the guides try to show visitors “a different side of Russia”.

“It’s a great city with a really long and interesting history… but you wouldn’t really know unless you have someone with you who’s able to share this history and make it interesting,” she says.

For visitors without a guide, getting around Moscow can still be a challenge. Over the past year,  some English-language signs indicating the locations of historical sights have been put up, but metro and street signs remain in Cyrillic.

“Coming here, it’s very hard to get orientated,” says Irina Tripapina, 25, the organiser of WowLocal . “We decided to compensate for the lack of information in English by establishing a community of volunteers who are willing to help visitors find their way.” After passing language and navigation tests, WowLocal volunteers are given T-shirts and badges emblazoned with the phrase “Ask Me, I’m Local.” 

“Tourists can meet WowLocal at any part of the city and at any time – even at night in Butovo,” says Ms Tripapina, referring to the suburb south of Moscow.

Since the project started in July, Ms Tripapina says it has recruited about 400 volunteers. She wears her badge every day on her way to work, and says she’s frequently stopped by foreigners asking for directions (as well as Russians looking for the metro).

Occasionally, she fields some more unusual requests: “Once, a guy from Britain asked me where to get a bowl of pelmeni,” she says.

WowLocal also brings together local people and tourists through city navigation games and conversation clubs at hostels. “We bring volunteers together with the travellers, so that they can share with each other,” explains Ms Tripapina.

• Capturing the Kremlin and central Moscow: the higher, the better

Of course, pictures of the Kremlin shot from the Red Square are no doubt iconic and must-have, but they are taken by thousands of tourists every day and can hardly make a wow-effect on your friends on Instagram and other social networks.

Another problem with shooting from Red Square is that the photos do not fully represent the scale of the medieval fortress of Kremlin. So, you need to make some steps further and higher to catch the right shot. You’ll be surprised by the fact that the panoramic views of the Kremlin are pretty easy to get. We have four hints for you: Zaryadie, Ritz Carlton, Patriarch bridge, and Radisson riverboat.

First, go to Zaryadye, which is located right next to the Red Square, behind the St Basil’s Cathedral, on the closest Moscow river bank. The most impressive views over the Kremlin are unfolded from the so-called Flying bridge of Zaryadye and Glass Dome building in the back part of the park.

Zaryadye is the new place of attraction in Moscow. It’s a landscape park, opened in September 2017 by the Moscow government on the hill where the giant soviet hotel ‘Rossiya’ located before its demolition in the early 2000-s. As a bonus, you’ll get an incredible view over one of Stalin’s skyscrapers, located on the opposite bank of Moscow river — the so-called Vysotka at Kotelnicheskaya, used as a residence of many Russian famous people and officials.

• The roof of the Ritz Carlton Hotel

This option is ok only in case if you’re ready to pay the average bar bill of over 2500 rubles (about $40). Visit the O2 Lounge Bar on the roof of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where all the global celebrities take their Moscow pictures, from Angelina Jolie to Robert Downey Jr.

But such photo investments seem to pay off immediately. The deck of the bar makes an excellent panorama point for the Kremlin walls and towers, the Historical Museum, the Great Kremlin Palace, and the Kremlin cathedrals. All these landmarks are not too far away, which makes them perfectly recognizable, even in the background.

• The Radisson riverboat

This hint will be useful in case you’re traveling to Moscow in the cold season. River transportation in Moscow doesn't stop in winter. Many enclosed and heated tourist yachts with panoramic windows and ice-breaking equipment can be found in the Moscow River. For instance, one of the most recognizable is the flotilla Radisson.

Their route goes past all the main sights of pre-revolutionary and Soviet Moscow – from Stalin's skyscrapers (Ukraina hotel and Vysotka at Kotelnicheskaya) to the Kremlin and the Novodevichy Convent. It is possible to go out to the open deck and take photos of you and your family or friends against a backdrop of the city’s lights and their reflection in the river. The cruise lasts 2.5 hours. • Patriarch bridge

The bridge is located further from the Kremlin, than Zaryadye or Ritz Carlton, so the Kremlin walls on your photos will look smaller. The brighter side of walking through the bridge is that you can do more fabulous pics of the Moscow river and city center landscapes. The Moscow river and the pretty recognizable giant statue of Peter the Great are ideally viewed from the bridge. Be prepared that it’s a famous and popular pedestrian area for tourists all over the world so the bridge may be crowded.

Also, the bridge is a part of a long promenade which leads from the Christ the Saviour Cathedral through the Balchug island to the opposite bank of the Moscow River, where another pedestrian area — Museon embankment — is ready to joy you with its cafes, cozy lawns and impressive views over the river flow, ducks and boats.

• Moscow City

The best spot to shoot the famous Moscow business downtown is located on the Taras Shevchenko embankment. To get there you need to come to the metro stations Vystavochnaya or Delovoi Tsentr, then go to the Bagration bridge (use the metro navigation, the path is tricky), cross the bridge — and voilà! You’ve reached the best spot for shooting, posing, sending selfies, and Instagramming.

• Ponds and orangeries

There are two ponds in Moscow, that deserve your attention in summer: the Chistye ponds (actually there is only one pond, but it’s worth it) and the pond in Gorky Park, which is full of small boats and catamarans. Both lakes are lost between the green alleys and are drowning in all the shades of green. Those are the perfect spots to catch the moment of peace amid the madness of big city life.

Moscow’s nightlife scene is thriving, and arguably one of the best the world has to offer – top-notch Russian women, coupled with a never-ending list of venues, Moscow has a little bit of something for everyone’s taste. Moscow nightlife is not for the faint of heart – and if you’re coming, you better be ready to go Friday and Saturday night into the early morning.

This comprehensive guide to Moscow nightlife will run you through the nuts and bolts of all you need to know about Moscow’s nightclubs and give you a solid blueprint to operate with during your time in Moscow.

What you need to know before hitting Moscow nightclubs

Prices in moscow nightlife.

Before you head out and start gaming all the sexy Moscow girls , we have to talk money first. Bring plenty because in Moscow you can never bring a big enough bankroll. Remember, you’re the man so making a fuzz of not paying a drink here or there will not go down well.

Luckily most Moscow clubs don’t do cover fees. Some electro clubs will charge 15-20$, depending on their lineup. There’s the odd club with a minimum spend of 20-30$, which you’ll drop on drinks easily. By and large, you can scope out the venues for free, which is a big plus.

Bottle service is a great deal in Moscow. At top-tier clubs, it starts at 1,000$. That’ll go a long way with premium vodka at 250$, especially if you have three or four guys chipping in. Not to mention that it’s a massive status boost for getting girls, especially at high-end clubs.

Without bottle service, you should estimate a budget of 100-150$ per night. That is if you drink a lot and hit the top clubs with the hottest girls. Scale down for less alcohol and more basic places.

Dress code & Face control

Door policy in Moscow is called “face control” and it’s always the guy behind the two gorillas that gives the green light if you’re in or out.

In Moscow nightlife there’s only one rule when it comes to dress codes:

You can never be underdressed.

People dress A LOT sharper than, say, in the US and that goes for both sexes. For high-end clubs, you definitely want to roll with a sharp blazer and a pocket square, not to mention dress shoes in tip-top condition. Those are the minimum requirements to level the playing field vis a vis with other sharply dressed guys that have a lot more money than you do. Unless you plan to hit explicit electro or underground clubs, which have their own dress code, you are always on the money with that style.

Getting in a Moscow club isn’t as hard as it seems: dress sharp, speak English at the door and look like you’re in the mood to spend all that money that you supposedly have (even if you don’t). That will open almost any door in Moscow’s nightlife for you.

Types of Moscow Nightclubs

In Moscow there are four types of clubs with the accompanying female clientele:

High-end clubs:

These are often crossovers between restaurants and clubs with lots of tables and very little space to dance. Heavy accent on bottle service most of the time but you can work the room from the bar as well. The hottest and most expensive girls in Moscow go there. Bring deep pockets and lots of self-confidence and you have a shot at swooping them.

Regular Mid-level clubs:

They probably resemble more what you’re used to in a nightclub: big dancefloors, stages and more space to roam around. Bottle service will make you stand out more but you can also do well without. You can find all types of girls but most will be in the 6-8 range. Your targets should always be the girls drinking and ideally in pairs. It’s impossible not to swoop if your game is at least half-decent.

Basic clubs/dive bars:

Usually spots with very cheap booze and lax face control. If you’re dressed too sharp and speak no Russian, you might attract the wrong type of attention so be vigilant. If you know the local scene you can swoop 6s and 7s almost at will. Usually students and girls from the suburbs.

Electro/underground clubs:

Home of the hipsters and creatives. Parties there don’t mean meeting girls and getting drunk but doing pills and spacing out to the music. Lots of attractive hipster girls if that is your niche. That is its own scene with a different dress code as well.

What time to go out in Moscow

Moscow nightlife starts late. Don’t show up at bars and preparty spots before 11pm because you’ll feel fairly alone. Peak time is between 1am and 3am. That is also the time of Moscow nightlife’s biggest nuisance: concerts by artists you won’t know and who only distract your girls from drinking and being gamed. From 4am to 6am the regular clubs are emptying out but plenty of people, women included, still hit up one of the many afterparty clubs. Those last till well past 10am.

As far as days go: Fridays and Saturdays are peak days. Thursday is an OK day, all other days are fairly weak and you have to know the right venues.

The Ultimate Moscow Nightclub List

Short disclaimer: I didn’t add basic and electro clubs since you’re coming for the girls, not for the music. This list will give you more options than you’ll be able to handle on a weekend.

Preparty – start here at 11PM

Classic restaurant club with lots of tables and a smallish bar and dancefloor. Come here between 11pm and 12am when the concert is over and they start with the actual party. Even early in the night tons of sexy women here, who lean slightly older (25 and up).

The second floor of the Ugolek restaurant is an extra bar with dim lights and house music tunes. Very small and cozy with a slight hipster vibe but generally draws plenty of attractive women too. A bit slower vibe than Valenok.

Very cool, spread-out venue that has a modern library theme. Not always full with people but when it is, it’s brimming with top-tier women. Slow vibe here and better for grabbing contacts and moving on.

High-end: err on the side of being too early rather than too late because of face control.

Secret Room

Probably the top venue at the moment in Moscow . Very small but wildly popular club, which is crammed with tables but always packed. They do parties on Thursdays and Sundays as well. This club has a hip-hop/high-end theme, meaning most girls are gold diggers, IG models, and tattooed hip hop chicks. Very unfavorable logistics because there is almost no room no move inside the club but the party vibe makes it worth it. Strict face control.

Close to Secret Room and with a much more favorable and spacious three-part layout. This place attracts very hot women but also lots of ball busters and fakes that will leave you blue-balled. Come early because after 4am it starts getting empty fast. Electronic music.

A slightly kitsch restaurant club that plays Russian pop and is full of gold diggers, semi-pros, and men from the Caucasus republics. Thursday is the strongest night but that dynamic might be changing since Secret Room opened its doors. You can swoop here but it will be a struggle.

Mid-level: your sweet spot in terms of ease and attractiveness of girls for an average budget.

Started going downwards in 2018 due to lax face control and this might get even worse with the World Cup. In terms of layout one of the best Moscow nightclubs because it’s very big and bottle service gives you a good edge here. Still attracts lots of cute girls with loose morals but plenty of provincial girls (and guys) as well. Swooping is fairly easy here.

I haven’t been at this place in over a year, ever since it started becoming ground zero for drunken teenagers. Similar clientele to Icon but less chic, younger and drunker. Decent mainstream music that attracts plenty of tourists. Girls are easy here as well.

Sort of a Coyote Ugly (the real one in Moscow sucks) with party music and lots of drunken people licking each others’ faces. Very entertaining with the right amount of alcohol and very easy to pull in there. Don’t think about staying sober in here, you’ll hate it.

Artel Bessonitsa/Shakti Terrace

Electronic music club that is sort of a high-end place with an underground clientele and located between the teenager clubs Icon and Gipsy. Very good music but a bit all over the place with their vibe and their branding. You can swoop almost any type of girl here from high-heeled beauty to coked-up hipsters, provided they’re not too sober.

Afterparty: if by 5AM  you haven’t pulled, it’s time to move here.

Best afterparty spot in terms of trying to get girls. Pretty much no one is sober in there and savage gorilla game goes a long way. Lots of very hot and slutty-looking girls but it can be hard to tell apart who is looking for dick and who is just on drugs but not interested. If by 9-10am you haven’t pulled, it is probably better to surrender.

The hipster alternative for afterparties, where even more drugs are in play. Plenty of attractive girls there but you have to know how to work this type of club. A nicer atmosphere and better music but if you’re desperate to pull, you’ll probably go to Miks.

Weekday jokers: if you’re on the hunt for some sexy Russian girls during the week, here are two tips to make your life easier.

Chesterfield

Ladies night on Wednesdays means this place gets pretty packed with smashed teenagers and 6s and 7s. Don’t pull out the three-piece suit in here because it’s a “simpler” crowd. Definitely your best shot on Wednesdays.

If you haven’t pulled at Chesterfield, you can throw a Hail Mary and hit up Garage’s Black Music Wednesdays. Fills up really late but there are some cute Black Music groupies in here. Very small club. Thursday through Saturday they do afterparties and you have an excellent shot and swooping girls that are probably high.

Shishas Sferum

This is pretty much your only shot on Mondays and Tuesdays because they offer free or almost free drinks for women. A fairly low-class club where you should watch your drinks. As always the case in Moscow, there will be cute girls here on any day of the week but it’s nowhere near as good as on the weekend.

In a nutshell, that is all you need to know about where to meet Moscow girls in nightlife. There are tons of options, and it all depends on what best fits your style, based on the type of girls that you’re looking for.
