Wandering Medic

  • View history

Wandering Medic is a branch of the Medic class in Arknights .

Wandering Medics are unique (and valuable) in which they are capable of removing Elemental Damage build-ups from friendlies for half of their ATK; if the friendly with Elemental Damage build-up is at full HP, the Wandering Medic will still heal them to remove the build-up. They have a healing range of 3×4 tiles with 3-tiles extensions to the sides ahead of them from Elite 1, but have low ATK and DP cost – the lowest of all Medics, the former of which giving Wandering Medics a low HP restoration output.

Operators [ ]

Strategies [ ].

  • Most event and Main Theme operations from Under Tides onwards feature enemies that are capable of inflicting Elemental Damages, thus it is mandatory that the player builds at least one Wandering Medic to lessen the danger faced by Operators from them.
  • Due to their low ATK, there are times when Wandering Medics cannot give proper amount of healing and needs to be supported by other Medics.
  • As of now, all Wandering Medics can only remove Elemental Damage build-up via direct healing. Because Musha , Reaper Guards , Juggernaut Defenders and Summons cannot receive direct healing, Wandering Medics cannot remove Elemental Damage build-up for them either.

Introduction

Medic

Mulberry is a Wandering Medic whose main use is negating elemental damage, while still being able to function as a regular medic. She can be used in situations that require either sustained or burst elemental healing, depending on which skill is selected. While she may fall behind in pure healing compared to other medic branches, her elemental healing may increase the team’s survivability even more than regular HP recovery depending on the stage.

Operator Stats

Mulberry’s ATK is below average for a Medic, with her HP and DEF being on the lower end. Although something to mention is that unlike other branches, Wandering Medics have a base 10 RES, making them a little bit more resistant against arts damage.

  • Provides both burst and sustained elemental damage healing, depending on her skill
  • Can decrease elemental damage taken, so even operators she isn’t healing directly can benefit from being in her range
  • Worse at healing than other branches
  • Squishier compared to other medics

When Mulberry and at least one more Medic Operator are on the battlefield, all Medic Operators gain +10% ATK

Mulberry’s talent is really quite simple. It’s quite good when she’s used alongside another medic that can focus on recovering the operators’ HP, covering Mulberry’s weakness. It’s not that big of a bonus but it’s nice to have.

wandering medics

Healing Haze

Increases the next heal's healing effect and Elemental Damage recovery to 180% and prioritizes the target with the highest Elemental Damage taken Can store up to 2 charges

This skill is Mulberry’s source of sustained elemental healing. It’s great to use in stages that have few sources of elemental damage, or in some maps where timing Mulberry’s other skill would be hard, like annihilation stages. It’s a good skill that will find a lot of use. It is also the easier of the two to use, as it doesn’t require timing the skill activation.

Skill Mastery

Mastery I is the most important mastery level for this skill, as it increases the number of charges held and decreases the SP cost. M3 decreases the SP cost even further, making it possible for her to use it on every attack, but is quite an expensive investment. Overall, this skill has a medium priority for M1 just because of how cheap it is. While it does benefit from further masteries, M1 will be enough for most content where Mulberry will be needed.

wandering medics

Attack Interval reduces significantly and prioritizes the target with the highest Elemental Damage taken. All allied units within Attack Range receive 35% less Elemental Damage

This skill is the stronger of the two in some scenarios, as it both provides elemental damage reduction to all allies in Mulberry’s large range and has fairly high healing for the duration. For the skill duration, her attacks are instantaneous instead of projectiles; this helps because of her large range, where eliminating the travel time can save an operator. Additionally, the on-skill damage reduction will pre-empt large burst elemental damage, such as from the First Speaker. Treat it as you would other burst healing skills.

The main breakpoint at M2 stems from the greater attack interval reduction, significantly increasing the amount of healing she can put out. It has a low priority because it’s both more expensive than her other skill’s breakpoint and because, as of the time of writing, it’s overkill for most practical scenarios.

wandering medics

For people who prefer using Mulberry’s S2, Ptilopsis’ synergy comes mainly from the significant uptime improvement it offers, cutting about 16 seconds from its cooldown. As a cherry on top, having both deployed means they’ll both gain an ATK buff from Mulberry’s talent.

Medic is one of the eight Operator classes in Arknights .

  • 3 Interactions

Instead of attacking enemies, Medics restore the HP of friendly units, making their use indispensable to keeping friendlies on the field and gives them more time to hold the line. Medics restore HP equal to their ATK.

Because all Medics but a select few are incapable of attacking enemies and have low HP and DEF, Medics should be kept safe from ranged enemies, who can and will attack them (not helping that Terra does not have an equivalent to the Geneva Conventions in Earth).

Interactions

  • The CN community nicknamed Medics “奶妈” or “奶", which literally means "Wet Nurse" or "Grandma".
  • The EN community jokingly called Medics that are capable of damaging enemies ( Folinic , Kal'tsit , and Incantation Medics ) "Harmacists".
  • Prior to her reintroduction in the second anniversary of Arknights , Kal'tsit is available in the beta version, but she was cut at the release version (see Kal'tsit's trivia for further details).
  • With the release of Eyjafjalla the Hvít Aska , Medic is the final class to receive its first limited Operator.

Arknights: The 7 Best Medics, Ranked

The best medics Arknights are the lifeblood of any team and a must-have for those hoping to make it past the first wave.

The gacha game genre is one of the most popular in the mobile gaming space , with dozens of games with gacha elements being released on a regular basis. Monumental successes such as Marvel Snap and Genshin Impact are taking the gaming world by storm as millions of players flock to collect the plethora of beautiful characters and units on offer.

RELATED: Best Solo Classes In Torchlight Infinite

Arknights has been one of the most successful gacha games on the market ever since its release five years ago. It's a tactical tower defense game in which players must assemble a team of operators to take on waves of enemy characters. A good medic is the lifeblood of any team and a must-have for those hoping to make it past the first wave. The best medics Arknights are therefore highly desirable.

Lumen is a medic with the wide range archetype. Lumen's character model is a slender young man with blue and black hair and pointed ears wearing a black and blue robe and a white feathered blouse. Lumen is not an easily obtained operator, as he is of six-star rarity. However, this rarity reflects how valuable he is on the battlefield.

Lumen excels at ranged healing but shines as he can provide a series of resistances to his team. Lumen can heal multiple targets at once and cleanse allies affected by status effects . Unfortunately, Lumen has long charge times that can sometimes work against the player.

Silence is a five-star operator modeled as a young girl with glasses. She has brown hair and feathered ears similar to an owl and wears an oversized cloak. Silence is a ranged medic who can utilize several skills and traits to provide steady healing regardless of position.

RELATED: MapleStory: Best Classes In The MMORPG, Ranked

However, silence's most valuable skill is her ability to place drones on the battlefield which will provide AOE healing to nearby allies. While these drones do cost deployment points to utilize, they are still incredibly helpful in increasing a character's survivability.

Mulberry is another five-star operator whose model is a timid young girl wearing a white dress and a feathered black cloak shaped like a pair of wings. She wields a large polearm and possesses the ranged medic archetype. Mulberry is an excellent medic for taking on missions with elemental hazards and bosses that trigger elemental effects.

Mulberry can heal both HP and elemental damage while providing an attack speed boost at the same time. Mulberry does suffer from high skill point cost and longer cooldown, but what hinders her the most is doing less healing than other mages without the wandering medic archetype.

4 Honeyberry

Honeyberry is a five-star medic also possessing the wandering medic archetype. Honeyberry's model is that of a young girl with gray hair, fox ears, and a tail, wearing a white dress and black coat. Honeyberry has a wide range for her attacks and heals, able to heal multiple targets of elemental damage at once.

RELATED: Fire Emblem Engage: Best Advanced Classes

While Honeyberry's shining achievement is her range, she is also the lowest-cost operator of medic archetypes. Unfortunately, players will probably end up having to pair Honeyberry with a secondary medic due to her low continuous healing.

3 Kal'tsit

Kal'tsit is a ranged medic with the support archetype. She is a rare six-star operator and will not be easy to obtain. Kal'Tsit has a mature female model with white hair and fox ears, wearing an olive gown and white trench coat. Kal'tsit is a very useful unit that has low skill point cost and quick redeploy capability.

In addition, Kal'tsit also summons a familiar that can deal heavy damage on the battlefield. Kal'tsit' can easily sustain her team with her large heal range, but she costs extra deployment points for her summon. Kal'tsit has seen an increase in popularity after her appearance in the Arknights: Prelude to Dawn anime series .

Shining is a six-star support medic with powerful buff skills and great sustain heals, making her a great addition to any team. Shining predominately provides steady healing for allies in range but can also provide a powerful defense boost to multiple allies.

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Other Games With Insane Gacha Features

Shining can boost ally defense numbers even higher by combining her skill activations. In addition, Shining can place a two-second shield on allies that may need extra protection when facing down powerful bosses or mobs of enemies.

1 Nightingale

Nightingale is arguably the best healer in Arknights , with major points for the number of targets she can heal on top of having the AOE healer archetype. Nightingale's model is a young girl with extremely long blonde hair wearing a white dress and wielding a staff.

Nightingale is great for tanky team compositions as she can sustain up to three targets at once thanks to her trait. Nightingale can also improve ally resistance, which will ultimately increase their survivability immensely.

Arknights is available on mobile devices.

Default DP cost range (without potential upgrades): 3 DP note  1-star operators only , 17 - 20 DP

  • 6★ Operators of this archetype: Kal'tsit, Shining
  • 5★ Operators of this archetype: Folinic, Silence, Tuye, Warfarin
  • 4★ Operators of this archetype: Gavial, Myrrh, Sussurro
  • 3★ Operators of this archetype: Ansel, Hibiscus
  • 1★ Operators of this archetype: Lancet-2
  • Boring, but Practical : This archetype is focused on healing above anything else, but due to this focus, they can lose out on usage since there is a multitude of operators gain self-heal, either on kill (who are typically unhealable by Medics to begin with) on hit (like Jaye) or passively (i.e Thorns and Mountain). Because of this, this archetype is largely used in the early-game, with certain Medics who come with utility like Warfarin note  whose S2 offers a powerful ATK buff , Kal'tsit note  who barely fits within the archetype to begin with and Silence note  whose drone bordeline-cheats the archetype becoming mainstays the further one progresses into the game.
  • Repetitive Name : When official archetype names are revealed in Dossoles Holiday, the name that is designated for the Medic archetype that we formerly call Single Target Medics is called... Medic . No joke. This meant that they would have been called " Medic Medics" in the game. Due to this, many players still call them 'Single Target Medics' or 'ST Medics' for short.

Multi-target

Default dp cost range (without potential upgrades): 16 - 18 dp.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aoemedic.jpg

  • 6★ Operators of this archetype: Nightingale
  • 5★ Operators of this archetype: Breeze, Ptilopsis
  • 4★ Operators of this archetype: Perfumer
  • Close-Range Combatant : Unlike regular Medics, Multi-target Medics can heal three units within their highlighted range at once, including those in the three tiles immediately behind them. In exchange, they possess very stunted forward range, meaning they won't normally be able to cover as much ground as their ST counterparts if they are to be placed in the rearline, though many of them have skills or talents that circumvent this, by either massively increasing their coverage when activated (Nightingale, Ptilopsis), or basically giving them infinite global range with reduced healing outside of their tiles (Perfumer). Unlocking their module mitigates this slightly by adding a single square to their forward range.

Default DP cost range (without potential upgrades): 19 - 21 DP

  • 6★ Operators of this archetype: Lumen
  • 5★ Operators of this archetype: Ceylon, Whisperain
  • 4★ Operators of this archetype: Purestream
  • Combat Medic : Interestingly, they can become this in Integrated Strategies: Mizuki and Caerula Arbor, should you obtain the Hand of Cleansing collectible, which deals Damage Over Time to all enemies within the Therapists' healing range.
  • Heal It with Water : All of them use water to heal allies. This is reflected in their symbol.
  • Parasol of Prettiness : With the exception of Purestream, the Therapist Medics use an umbrella to cast their healing Arts.

Default DP cost range (without potential upgrades): 14 - 16 DP

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ak_wandering_icon.png

  • 6★ Operators of this archetype: Eyjafjalla the Hvit Aska
  • 5★ Operators of this archetype: Harold, Honeyberry, Mulberry
  • 4★ Operators of this archetype: Chestnut
  • Situational Sword : Their low ATK makes them not that great as an all-purpose Medic, but they are invaluable in stages with pesky elemental damage that can seriously ruin your day.

Incantation

Default dp cost range (without potential upgrades): 16 note  no 4-star operator released yet to have this lower bound cost - 18 dp.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ak_incantation_icon.png

  • 6★ Operators of this archetype: Reed the Flame Shadow
  • 5★ Operators of this archetype: Hibiscus the Purifier, Vendela
  • Achilles' Heel : Damage from sources other than enemies, like Originium altars and poison haze is something they won't heal unless an enemy is near the affected allies. They cannot heal in between waves, and they need invisible enemies to be decloaked first in order to heal damage from them. This is caused by them having the same prioritization as offensive operators in contrast to the prioritization Medics have.
  • Boring, but Practical : Finding the optimal placement for their archetype is tricky, so it's much less headache to treat them as Caster units rather than Medic.
  • Breaking Old Trends : It's the first and only Medic subclass that actually focuses on attacking enemies instead of having to use a skill or gaining the ability to do so via their talent.
  • Combat Medic : Yes, you read that right, they actually can attack enemies. You can think of them as Casters whose attacks can also heal their allies in range. Their subclass icon also notably features the diamond shape used in the Caster icons.
  • Moveset Clone : The trait of this archetype, which makes its members heal allies in their range while they attacks enemies, is a practical copy of Nightmare's S1 . However, Nightmare can eventually heal HP equal to 100% of the damage she deals to enemies at full mastery and can heal two allies at once; Incantation Medics can only heal HP of a single nearby ally equal to only half of the damage dealt to enemies by default.
  • Oxymoronic Being : As Medic, they would want to be placed by the backline to maximize healing coverage for allied Operators. Yet as offensive Caster, they would want to be placed near the frontline to maximize tile coverage against enemy units. This discrepancy often mean that their optimal placement is between 1-2 line behind the frontline, like a typical Caster instead of a Medic.
  • 5★ Operators of this archetype: Paprika
  • Master of None : As it currently stands, this archetype has fallen by the wayside due to having no real situation where they would be cut out for, as there is already a dedicated archetype that specializes in healing multiple targets within range. There are only a few situations Medics are cut out for note  strong single-target healing, multi-target healing, the healing of elemental damage and the giving of Resist to operators , but this archetype has not one carved out for itself yet.

Shared Tropes

  • Heal Thy Self : They can use their innate healing abilities on themselves when they lose health. This is also lampshaded in the description of the Integrated Strategies collectible 'Healer's Path - Self-Treating': Who says healers can't heal themselves? They simply pop some pills before continuing to help others.
  • Healing Potion : Certain Medics heal their allies by literally chucking these at the patient, namely Silence and Myrrh.
  • Loophole Abuse : Therapist Medics grant Resist on their heals, which reduces the effects of Stun, Cold and Freeze by half. This also works on Elemental damage-induced stuns and self-stuns , so even when an enemy-induced stun is not an issue, they can still work with operators like Specter and Liskarm.
  • Magic Staff : Most Medic operators wield staves (umbrella, in the case of Ceylon, Whisperain and Lumen) in conjunction with their powers. Those that don't (such as Silence) instead toss healing items towards their allies.
  • Medics don't have offensive capabilities, so their ATK stat translates into how much HP they can heal. And while the "Healing Up" skills are written as if they boost attack, they actually refer to a boost in healing.
  • When deploying Medics, their area-of-effect grids are also colored blue instead of the other classes' orange.
  • The Medic : It's in the name. Medics provide healing and (sometimes) buffs for other units.
  • Mighty Glacier : A variation. The ASPD of most Medics tends to be on the slow side, even more so with Single-Target Medics who offset this with their larger base heal. Subverted with Silence's talent, which boosts all Medics' ASPD when she's fielded.
  • Required Secondary Powers : Lore wise, Medic operators who want to use healing Arts first need to have extensive knowledge of medical science and the anatomical structures of the various races if they want to heal effectively.
  • Shoot the Medic First : Sometimes, it is recommended to deploy the Medic later than, say, your Glass Cannon DPS , defenseless items like the Imprisonment Devices and Terminals, or any other operators you need to stay on the map for their utility in order to draw fire from them since most of the time, enemies will target the latest deployed enemy in their range, since they can heal themselves back. While not as optimal as letting, say, Idle Casters or Defenders draw fire, in certain setups this is simply not possible and, if the Medic is leveled up well, they are often next in line to be hit. Averted with the WAH-X module, that makes Medics less likely to be targeted by enemies (although they will still get hit by Originium Altars if placed in their range and by ballistae if they happen to bbe in front of them).
  • Support Party Member : With the exception of Folinic with her S2 equipped, Kal'tsit via her summon, and the Incantation subclass, Medics are entirely incapable of attacking anything. While they do have an ATK stat, and most Medics have skills that raise it, it governs how much healing they do per use instead.

Mother arrested after leaving 3 children alone in Orlando hotel

L eft alone, wandering around a hotel, bruised and in tears, is how staff found three children after being left alone in an Orlando hotel.

RELATED: Documents: 2 toddlers, 1-year-old found alone, distressed in Orlando hotel

Deputies say the children may have been left alone for two hours before their mother and her boyfriend came strolling into the hotel at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The woman, Rashay Braynen, and her boyfriend, Gregory Pierre, are behind bars Thursday night.

According to the arrest affidavit, hotel staff were notified that a 2-year-old boy was alone on the fifth floor.

Staff then received a second call from another child, a 3-year-old boy, crying on the second floor in the hallway. Then, at around 6 a.m., Braynen and Pierre came back to the hotel.

Staff said they had been seen coming and going all night but had been away for roughly two hours when the kids were found.

Deputies then made another shocking discovery — a 1-year-old infant was found in the couple's room where they were locked in, left completely alone and in tears.

James Delaughter, who isn't related to the case but is staying at another nearby hotel, said it's common to see children in this area being mistreated.

"It is a lot of that going on now where people don't have the time or the patience for their own children that they created. I just don't really understand that. It's disheartening," Delaughter said.

Braynen said the kids had been left with Pierre's brother, who is also staying at the hotel - but that person said they were never asked to watch the children.

The 2-year-old was checked by medics for swelling on his forehead.

The Florida Department of Children Families was contacted, and the children were placed in the care of a grandparent.

Braynen is facing several charges of child neglect.

Tyumen. Trinity Monastery. Church of Sts. Peter and Paul (left), Trinity Cathedral. East view from Tura River. Sept. 4, 1999.

At the beginning of the 20th century the Russian chemist and photographer Sergei Prokudin-Gorsky developed a complex process for vivid color photography (see box text below). His vision of photography as a form of education and enlightenment was demonstrated with special clarity through his images of architectural monuments in the historic sites throughout the Russian heartland.

In June 1912, Prokudin-Gorsky ventured into western Siberia as part of a commission to document the Kama-Tobolsk Waterway, a link between the European and Asian sides of the Ural Mountains. The town of Tyumen served as a launching point for his journey north to Tobolsk, located on the Irtysh River. While there, he photographed the Trinity Monastery, one of the oldest in Siberia. My photographs of Tyumen and Tobolsk were taken in the late summer of 1999.

Gateway to the east

The opening of Siberia for Russian colonization during the late 16th and 17th centuries is the story of the conquest of vast distances in a severe land by enterprising Russian merchants, whose commercial interests coincided with the tsars' appetite for eastern expansion. Tyumen, founded in 1586 on the site of a Tatar encampment at the confluence of the Tura and Tyumenka Rivers, is considered the earliest permanent Russian settlement in Siberia.

Tyumen was established on the initiative of Boris Godunov, the power behind the throne of Tsar Feodor I, who became tsar himself in 1598. Godunov was aware of the importance of Siberia in part from his association with the Stroganov family. The Stroganovs had sent a detachment of Cossacks from their commercial center at Solvychegodsk  into Siberia to challenge the power of the Tatar ruler, Khan Kuchum.

The band of Cossacks was commanded by Yermak Timofeevich. Yermak's origins and identity remain a matter of dispute, but it is likely that he and his men had engaged in brigandage and river piracy before enlisting as mercenaries for the Stroganovs. Although the dates are open to question, it appears that in the fall of 1581, Yermak captured Chingi-Tura (later Tyumen) but abandoned it in order to proceed to Kashlyk, Khan Kuchum capital. Yermak defeated the khan in 1582 during a battle near the Irtysh River. Yermak himself died in a surprise raid in 1585.

Like most early Russian towns in Siberia, Tyumen served as a garrison fortress for Cossacks and other troops who protected trade routes, particularly with China, during the 17th century. Tyumen's location on the Tura River provided a direct link westward to the gateway town of Verkhoturye, which was founded by Boris Godunov on the Asian side of the Ural Mountains in 1598. To the northeast of Tyumen, the Tura flows into the Tobol River, which in turn joins the mighty Irtysh near Tobolsk. Given its favorable location, Tyumen was destined to play a significant role in the development of Siberia.

Kiev in Siberia

There are no architectural remains from Tyumen’s first century. The early buildings were of wood (including the stockade walls) and were susceptible to fires, such as the one that destroyed most of the town in 1695. Subsequently, the Siberian Office in Moscow encouraged the use of brick and stone for major buildings. Masonry construction also reflected the views of the young Tsar Peter I (the Great), who undertook the expansion of the Russian presence in Siberia despite the burdens of a major war with Sweden. However, large fires continued to devastate the town (in 1705 and 1766), and the lack of qualified masons impeded construction.

The most imposing early brick structures are at the Trinity Monastery, founded in 1616 (date uncertain) on the high right bank of the Tura River on the northern edge of Tyumen. Originally dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Savior, the monastery was transformed in the early part of the 18th century by an energetic Ukrainian prelate, Filofei (Rafail Leshchinsky), who in 1702 was designated Metropolitan of Tobolsk and Siberia.

Leshchinsky studied at the Kiev Spiritual Academy and subsequently rose in the hierarchy of the renowned Monastery of the Caves in Kiev. It is therefore not surprising that the architecture of the Trinity Monastery displays Ukrainian Baroque elements. The center of the monastery is dominated by the Cathedral of the Trinity, built in 1709-1715. From the exterior detailing to the form of the cupolas, the structure shows Ukrainian ornamental motifs to such an extent as to suggest completion by a Ukrainian builder.

The Trinity Cathedral was closed in 1923 and its interior was vandalized during the Soviet period. Additionally, its structural integrity was threatened by the construction of a water plant between the Tura River and the north wall of the church. This site actually had been the location of the monastery's second church, dedicated to the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste (also known as Saints Zosima and Savvatii), completed in 1717 and razed in the 1940s. Unfortunately, there is no record that Prokudin-Gorsky photographed it or the Trinity Cathedral.

In 1711, Filofei resigned his position as Metropolitan of Siberia to become abbot of the Trinity Monastery. At the end of 1715, he resumed leadership of the vast Siberian Metropolitanate, but after five years, he again retired to lead the monastery until his death in 1727.

Filofei’s connections with the imperial court were necessary to continue construction at the Tyumen monastery. Peter the Great needed experienced masons for the building of St. Petersburg and had issued a ban on masonry construction elsewhere in Russia between 1714-22. Soon after the revocation of Peter’s construction decree, Filofei began planning for a third church at the Trinity Monastery — the Church of Saints Peter and Paul — together with brick walls, an entrance gate and a monastery residence. The lack of material and labor delayed foundation work until 1726, and the monastery's resources rapidly diminished after prelate's death the following year. Construction resumed some ten years later with the completion of the brick walls in 1739, the bell tower in 1741, and Church of Sts. Peter and Paul in 1755.

Prokudin-Gorsky’s superb view of the Peter-Paul Church from open space outside the south wall shows a cruciform structure related to the Ukrainian Baroque, thus suggesting the completion of plans before Leshchinsky's death. It is possible that the original domes resembled the two-tiered cupolas typical of Ukrainian architecture and still seen in the nearby Trinity Cathedral. A fire in 1842 damaged the roof and led to a rebuilding with traditional onion domes that are visible in Prokudin-Gorsky’s and my own almost nine decades later.

Although documentary evidence is lacking, the church design has been attributed to Semyon Remezov, the main architect of Tobolsk at the beginning of the 18th century. It bears resemblance to both the Church of St. George at Kiev's Vydubetskii Monastery and the Church of All Saints (1698-1701) over the Ekonom Gate at the Monastery of the Caves — monuments that would have been familiar to Leshchinsky.

The large attached bell tower with a conical crown follows a pattern widespread in the 16th and 17th centuries. Recently restored and returned to active use, the Trinity Monastery once again graces the high bank of the Tura River.

In the early 20th century the Russian photographer Sergei Prokudin-Gorsky devised a complex process for color photography. Between 1903 and 1916 he traveled through the Russian Empire and took over 2,000 photographs with the process, which involved three exposures on a glass plate. In August 1918, he left Russia and ultimately resettled in France with a large part of his collection of glass negatives. After his death in Paris in 1944, his heirs sold the collection to the Library of Congress. In the early 21st century the Library digitized the Prokudin-Gorsky Collection and made it freely available to the global public. Many Russian websites now have versions of the collection. In 1986 the architectural historian and photographer William Brumfield organized the first exhibit of Prokudin-Gorsky photographs at the Library of Congress. Over a period of work in Russia beginning in 1970, Brumfield has photographed most of the sites visited by Prokudin-Gorsky. This series of articles will juxtapose Prokudin-Gorsky’s views of architectural monuments with photographs taken by Brumfield decades later.

Botzu's Quick Evaluation

Operator overview.

Mulberry is actually a member of a Catastrophe rescue organization who is on loan to Rhodes Island as part of a human resources exchange program. Being a shy, timid introvert, Mulberry had trouble fitting in with Rhodes Island at first. However, when Operators from Yan County coaxed her to open up, they found that Mulberry is capable of holding her own when she needs to. After all, a coward wouldn’t be able to rescue civilians during the chaos of a Catastrophe. Nor would a coward be able to stand her ground as a 5* Wandering Medic , healing HP and recovering Elemental Damage for allies within her large attack range .

Elemental Damage is a special kind of damage gauge that isn’t present on all maps. Some enemies/ terrain deal Elemental Damage, and when an Operator has taken a certain amount of it, negative effects are inflicted depending on the kind of Elemental Damage being received. (Examples are Neural Impairment from the Under Tides event or Erosion from the Dossoles Holiday event.) Because of her Trait as a Wandering Medic, Mulberry’s actions reduce the amount of Elemental Damage that an Operator has suffered. She can even use her action to “heal” Elemental Damage on an ally that is at full HP.

You can tell Mulberry is used to working in a group because of her Helper Talent, which increases the ATK of all allied Medics if there is at least one other Medic deployed other than Mulberry. Since Mulberry’s ATK influences the amount of Elemental Damage she can remove, this can be helpful when Elemental Damage is a big concern. Her Skills are even more helpful in this regard, as you might expect. Healing Mists , her S1, holds multiple charges and dramatically increases the healing (both HP and Elemental Damage) of Mulberry’s next action. This Skill’s short charge time actually results in pretty good HPS, making Mulberry a viable general-purpose healer despite her low base ATK. If you prefer preventative care, there’s her S2, Safe Zone . This Skill greatly reduces Mulberry’s attack interval and causes her healing to prioritize the ally in range with the highest Elemental Damage taken. It also reduces the amount of Elemental Damage that all allies in range take for the Skill’s duration, making it a great counter to particularly dangerous periods of incoming Elemental damage.

Wandering Medics are a useful archetype, but there are some flies in the ointment here. Most obviously, almost all of Mulberry’s utility is wasted on maps where Elemental Damage is not a concern. Also, Wandering Medics have ATK on par with an AoE Medic, but only heal one target at a time, so without Skills active, their healing can be quite low. On the other hand, Wandering Medics have an affordable DP cost and a wide attack range that can allow them to heal some formations that other Medics cannot. And of course, any time that your Operators are threatened by Elemental Damage, Mulberry is in her element, with exactly the tools for the job to get everybody to safety.

Newbie Tier List Explanation Good healing and can help a lot with Elemental damage, which has the potential to be challenging to newer players still learning the game. The increased range can make deployment a little easier as well. Outside of Elemental damage, though, she falls behind the other top options. Skill Discussion

German Patriot air defence system units are deployed at Vilnius airport

Ukraine attacked eight Russian regions with dozens of long-range strike drones, setting ablaze a fuel depot and hitting three power substations in a major attack early on Saturday, an intelligence source in Kyiv told Reuters.

The Russian defence ministry said on Saturday its air defence intercepted and destroyed 50 Ukrainian drones overnight, repelling one of the largest such attacks on Russia during the conflict in Ukraine.

As previously mentioned, Wandering Medics (and Mulberry by proxy) have much lower stats than their "generic" counterparts.
