On our Paris Night Bike + Boat Tour we focus on showing you the best lit monuments in Paris and giving you a great night out in our city. We’ll show you the heart of the city and all of the amazing museums and monuments when the crowds have abandoned them and their facades are glowing with light.

Cycle to the Musée d’Orsay and learn about the great impressionist artists Monet and Van Gogh, then coasting down to the banks of the Seine River you’ll see the young Parisians enjoying their “Apero” snacks and drinks with their feet dangling over the river.There you’ll be able to have an ice cream or crêpe and take a moment to enjoy the view of the golden beams and bolts that make up the Eiffel Tower.

An unforgettable experience : the boat cruise

Board the boat with your guide and taking a seat you’ll start the 1 hour cruise up and then down the calm Seine River. The magic of the twinkling lights, combined with your guides fun stories, are sure to make the cruise a highlight of this tour.

You’ll cruise under the gilded Pont Alexandre III bridge and then have a view of the French Parliament building with its Greek columns lit up. You’ll pass under a bridge built with the recycled stones of the famous Bastille Prison and then see the Academie Francaise building illuminating the lovers on the Pont des Arts bridge.

Under the hundreds of stone faces which King Henry had carved into the Pont Neuf you’ll search but not find two alike. Then, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of Notre Dame Cathedral. Sailing alongside the Cathedral you’ll see her intricate rose windows and delicate arched flying buttresses awash in light.

The Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre

Continuing on you’ll see Parisians dancing on the Quai Saint Bernard and picnicking at the foot of the twinkling Hotel de Ville building. You’ll pass under many more beautiful bridges and alongside many other stunning facades such as the Conciergerie with its impressive castle towers where Marie-Antoinette was imprisoned.

Once the boat cruise is finished, on your Blue Bike™ you’ll cycle along the famous Champs Elysées Avenue and have a fabulous view of the Arc de Triomphe at the top of the tree lined avenue. The final awe inspiring experience of this tour happens when you arrive in the vast courtyard of the majestic Louvre and cycle around the giant glass pyramid of Pei shining with white light like a beacon in the night.

The Fountain Saint-Michel can easily be reached by metro line 4 (stop "SAINT-MICHEL" ) and the RER lines B & C (stop "SAINT-MICHEL – NOTRE-DAME" ).

Lots of things can happen that make a person need to change their plans. So you’re welcome to cancel this tour up to 24 hours before it starts and we’ll give you a full refund.

If you plan out your travel time poorly, arrive late, and miss your tour we will feel sad that you missed your tour but we will not issue you a refund.

Yes, we’ve got 2 different smaller sized bikes for kids and adults who are too short to use our Blue Bikes™.

We have baby seats for kids that are between the ages of 1 and 3 years old (max weight 22 kg (48 lbs)).

We also have some cool Burley tandem attachment bikes that are suitable for little kids who are too big for the baby seat but too small to cycle on their own (max weight 38 kg (85 lbs) - max height 137 cm (4 ft 6 in)).

We do NOT have tandem bikes that are suitable for two adults. All adults who join our tour must know how to cycle on their own with confidence. Please do not book this tour if an adult in your party is unable to cycle. We do not have any way to include them in this tour.

No, we have tried to accommodate requests of this sort before and it has always caused a huge headache for the guide to organize a meet up during the tour, frustration for the other tour participants, and in general more unhappiness than happiness.

So, no, we will no longer try to accommodate people who desire to do only part of our Night Bike Tour with Boat Cruise.

This tour will finish at 10pm on the Ile de la Cité very close to the metro stations: Cité, Pont-Neuf, and Saint Michel - Notre-Dame. That means that you will have no problem using the metro to get back to wherever you are staying in Paris.

The Paris Metro system runs until after 12:30 midnight on weekdays and until 1:30am on weekends. Most metro trips, inside of Paris, last no more than 20-30 minutes.

I - Cancellation Policy

BFT offers a 100% refund if a reservation is cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled start of the tour. The notification must be made by email. No refunds are given for ANY reason once within the 24 hrs prior to the scheduled tour. All of our tours run Rain or Shine. We do not issue refunds if you choose to skip your tour because the weather doesn’t suit you. You can always wait until the last minute to book your tour to ensure the weather suits you that day. BFT reserves the right to cancel any of its tours last minute in case of an Act of God or crazy act from a large group of people. Flooding, hail, dangerous weather conditions, riots, etc. In such instances full refunds will be given to anyone who had their tour cancelled.

II - Satisfaction Guarantee Policy

If the tour you took with us didn’t live up to what we promised you on our website and failed to meet your expectations, we will be heartbroken. We will also give you a 100% refund so long as you do all of these things: You remember that we we are in no way responsible for the weather and that our guides actually have to give 110% of themselves to you on days when the weather is not as nice in order to help you enjoy the tour. You participate in the entire tour from: being on time at the meeting point until the “goodbyes” at the very end of the tour. You can’t leave a tour half-way and ask for your money back. At the end of the tour you tell your guide, in person, that you were not satisfied with the tour you took. You provide your tour guide with the reasons you were not satisfied with the tour itself.

III - Payment Policy

A valid credit card is required to secure your booking. All reservations must be prepaid online prior to the tour. We accept Visa, Mastercard. None of your personal credit card or billing information is stored by BFT.

IV - Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal informations will never be disclosed to any third parties.

V - Child Policy

All reservations made for children under the age of 18 years old must be made by an adult and we must be informed at the time of booking exactly how many children are in your party and their ages. This is vital information as it allows our guide to prepare the proper child sized equipments for the bike tours and the booster seats for all day trips/excursions that use one of our vans. All reservations made for a minor under the age of 18 years old must also include the reservation for an adult who will be 100% solely responsible for the safety and well being of the child while on the tour. Every child, under the age of 12 years old, partaking in a bicycle tour will be required to wear a helmet and a reflective vest as per French Law. The adult who accompanies the child agrees to the responsibility of choosing a properly sized helmet, adjusting the helmet, and keeping the helmet on the head of the child during the whole tour. Blue Fox Travel has helmets in multiple sizes for you to choose from at no cost. Don't forget: Children who will be riding in a baby/child seat, on a tandem attachment bike, or in a booster seat in one of our vans absolutely MUST have their seat reserved beforehand. We NEED to know exactly what your child will need before they show up. Please make it clear in the “Special Requirements” section of our booking form.

VI- Child Bike Policy

Children who will be riding on their own may be subject to a very short test run before the tour starts in which they will be expected to demonstrate: that they are well suited for their bike’s size and settings, that they know how to brake properly and that they are, in general, good cyclists who can be trusted to follow their tour guide in a safe manner. We own 20” and 24” kids bikes (size of the wheel). Adult bikes are 26”. If the guide, or manager, finds that the child is not, for any reason, a good enough cyclist then the guide, or manager, has the right to refuse to let the child follow the tour on a personal bike. This means they will either be asked to ride on one of our ‘tandem attachments’ which is attached to the back of a parents bike OR asked to ride in a child seat attached to the back of a parents bike. If the child refuses the change, then the guide or manager has the right to cancel the reservation, and not allow you and your child on the bike tour. Refunds will not be issued if your reservation is cancelled because of your child not being able to cycle and their refusal to ride attached to you. Baby seats are for kids that are between the ages of 1 and 3 years old (max weight 22 kg (48 lbs)). We also have some cool Burley™ tandem attachment bikes that are suitable for little kids who are too big for the baby seat but too small to cycle on their own (max weight 38 kg (85 lbs) - max height 137 cm (4 ft 6 in)).

VII - Damages to Blue Fox Travel Property

If you or anyone in your party damages a vehicle, a Blue Bike™, a vehicle, a child's bike, a helmet, a baby/child seat, a tandem attachment bike, any bike attachments, or a booster seat in such a way that it becomes badly disfigured, broken, or unusable, then BFT reserves the right to claim a fee of up to the cost of repair of the damaged bike/vehicle or object.

Our first tour with Blue Fox was the Paris Highlights Bike tour in September 2017. It was the highlight of our two week trip to Paris and London with our 25 year old daughter for her birthday. We absolutely loved it! Our son and his wife took the same tour with Blue Fox a month later when they were in Paris for their honeymoon and loved it as well. This year, we decided to book more tours with Blue Fox. Because one of the tours we wanted (Vincennes Castle: Discover the Chateau and its History!) was not listed as available, I ended up talking with Hava initially by email and eventually through the phone. She was absolutely amazing, exceptionally kind in taking the time to understand what we wanted, and ended up pulling together some phenomenal options for us. (Thank you Hava!) We did three tours with Blue Fox during our Oct 2018 trip to Paris: - Vincennes Castle: Discover the Chateau and its History! - Paris Night Bike Tour + Boat Cruise - Paris Bike Tour: Off the beaten path Secrets All of them were outstanding. Some highlights: Vincennes A short bike right through the heart of Paris (Notre Dame, Bastille) with some excellent, interesting observations from Jean-Baptiste, then biking through the park/forest by the Vincennes castle. This tour had a bit more biking than any of the others we took, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We then spent 1.5 hours or so at the Vincennes castle, which in all my time in Paris dating back to the early 1990s I had never visited. We loved it! Seeing a medieval castle with a tall keep so close to Paris was a big surprise. The other pleasant surprise was that we had the place practically to ourselves. Paris Night Bike + Boat We enjoyed biking through Paris and seeing the sites at night. If given a choice between the daytime highlights or the night bike + boat, we recommend the highlights tour. They are different enough that taking both is also a good option. Paris Off the beaten path secrets Hava highly customized this one for us based on the call she and I had, and we did it as a private tour. OMG she did a phenomenal job in creating a customized tour that ideally suited what we asked for. It was basically the Latin Quarter food and fun tour. We saw some of the same sites as the main tour (skipped others), but then spent time visiting local market (meat, cheese, veggies, fruit), an exceptional local wine shop, bakery, chocolates, etc. We visited sites along the way, and eventually ended up at a phenomenal fairly small garden for a picnic. The tour, the food and Hava were all exceptional. This was our favorite Blue Fox tour, and our favorite tour of any type, anywhere. Hava did such a phenomenal job -- can't thank her enough! We highly recommend any of the Blue Fox tours. P.S. Jean-Baptiste recommended that we stop in Giverny on our drive later that week to Mont Saint Michel. It was an outstanding recommendation that we followed and loved. Comically, we ran into Jean-Baptiste with his tour group in the parking lot in Giverny.

Booked the Versailles Bike Tour through Blue Fox Travel. We met up with the group in Paris at the start of the day, and the group was easy to find. We traveled as a group to the train, and our tickets were provided. I really appreciated having the guide assistance in getting to Versailles, it eliminated the need for logistics planning. When we arrived at our stop, the first thing we did was walk to a local market. The market had a huge variety of fruits, breads, spreads, wines, juices, and more. We were given about an hour to explore the market and make our selections. Next, we collected our bikes. They were equipped with satchels to hold our belongings while we rode. We rode (through a few busy streets) to the palace grounds. From here, we began a lovely tour around the grounds, stopping to take photos and learn about the noteworthy attractions. Midday, we stopped for a picnic overlooking the pond and the palace. This was by far the highlight of the tour. We had a little over an hour to enjoy the views and our snacks from the market. After lunch, we continued on our bike journey. We made stops at several of the satellite buildings on the grounds including the summer home and Marie Antoinette's house. At the end we returned the bikes and were escorted to the main palace to tour on our own. The tour was overall really fun and very lovely. The only negative in my experience was that our guide, Francesca, was biking like it was the Tour de France. She was riding at top speeds through the park, so it felt more like a long spin class than a leisurely ride. We were definitely worn out by the end, but it was not enough to ruin the day for us. I would recommend this tour to others as it's a unique way to experience Versailles and a great balance of history, independent exploration, and picturesque moments.

I was very happy with my bike tour of the landmarks of Paris with BlueFox Travels. I am especially impressed with Vanessa our tour guide! She made the experience one I won't forget. In fact I think she should made president of France! I can't think of a better way to spend getting to know some of this beautiful city.

Normandy - 7 Hours in Cramped Bus - Not Recommended The sites are amazing and the tour allows you to see the main locations. The tour guide was competent and it includes a nice lunch in a French brasserie. However, you will spend about seven hours of your day in a very cramped van. We were looking forward to seeing Normandy for months and the Blue Fox mini-van ruined this special day. My wife and I were crammed into the back seat. There is no room to move - for seven hours. This van may be fine for short trips around Paris but is totally inadequate for such a long journey. Shame on Blue Fox travel for subjecting customers to such an experience. Do no go on this tour if you have to sit in the back seat. Beware.

Lilia was our Tour Guide with Blue Fox Tours who was very engaging and interested us. The initial drive is long and she expertly navigated a near collision, so she can add "professional driver" to her resume! On the drive and at each Castle, narrated the historical cliff notes and exemplified what an expert guide should represent. Even making excellent lunch recommendations at one of our stops. We was even kind enough to allow our daughter to sit in the front seat of the tour van and answer her questions and play music on the 1.5 hour drive back into Paris. We highly recommend this tour and Lilia!

We just did a half day Giverny trip today with Blue Fox travel in Paris and it is very good. I like this tour because of a small group with 8 people max. Our guide is Valeria and she is very good. She guided the tour and explained the history of the Giverny's garden very well . She is very knowledgeable and she is also a good driver. I like about this tour with Valeria because she did not rush during the tour. She is also very good planner for the tour. So you will have plenty of time to explore the garden.

Just finished the Secrets of Paris bike tour and it was lovely. Our guide, Olivia, was helpful, prepared, and explained so much. My husband and I always learn a lot with Blue Fox. This was our second trip with them (We did the Versailles tour pre-COVID, which I highly recommend as well.) An unexpected thunderstorm and deluge was no match for the great raincoats that Olivia had at the ready. Blue Fox takes you through safe passageways to fun and unique places in the city.

Learning about Saint Suplice.

Our guide, Claire, provided a fun, informative tour of the Latin Quarter which we really enjoyed. Biking is a great way to see the city and with a guide who knows the area so well, you can see a lot in a half-day. As a souvenir, she gave everyone a map of the tour showing our route and sights we visited that day. Recommended!

We took the Palace of Versailles bike tour which was referred by my co-worker who took the same trip in 2013. We enjoyed the trip very much. Nina is an excellent guide both personable and professional, and truly brought the French history of Versailles to life.

The "Best of Paris Bike Tour" is a great introduction to Paris (and a really good deal). You cover a lot of ground in half a day, but it's not overwhelming. Our guide, JB, was funny, helpful, and full of interesting tidbits, and at the end of the tour, he highlighted our route on a map. I took it around with me the rest of my stay. :) I recommend doing tour this at the beginning of your trip so you can get an idea of the "lay of the land" and determine which areas you might want to re-visit. The tour group is small (8-10 people), making it a much more enjoyable, intimate experience. I've taken other bike tours with 20+ people and those just felt like a nice joy ride. With such a small group with Blue Bike, I was never too far from our guide and actually "learned stuff" from hearing his stories, anecdotes, and Paris history lessons.
