Blue October (formed in 1995) is an American post-grunge, alternative rock band hailing from Houston, Texas, in the United States.

Texas native Justin Furstenfeld formed Blue October in the mid-‘90s in the wake of bands like Nirvana et al. The group's original line-up comprised of Justin singing and playing guitar, brother Jeremy Furstenfeld on drums, violinist Ryan Delahoussaye, bassist Matt Noveskey and lead guitarist Brant Coulter.

In 1998 Blue October independently released their debut album “The Answers”, which became a popular album in the local area, selling over 5,000 copies in Houston alone. Thanks to producer Don Byczynski, the group’s follow-up album, “Consent to Treatment” (2000), was on the major label Universal Records. Due to the disappointing sales Blue October were dropped from Universal in 2000.

Following an appearance on ABC’s KTRK-TV early morning news, the band moved to Austin, Texas, U.S. in 2001 where they were able to fulfil a number of early morning radio shows and special radio concerts. Blue October’s third album “History for Sale” (2003) was released through Brando Records and is noted for the departure of guitarist Coulter and the arrival of guitarist and vocalist CB Hudson. As a result of appearing on the American Wedding soundtrack the album’s first single “Calling You” became a Top 40 Hit in the U.S.

After an 18-month stint of extensive touring, Universal re-signed the band with their newfound success and released the live CD/DVD combo “Argue with a Tree” in February 2005. Blue October’s third studio album entitled “Foiled” was issued in April 2006 and became a certified platinum album in under a year.

In the wake of a tour alongside Yellowcard, the group released the two-disc album “Foiled for the Last Time” featuring live recordings of new songs and remixes of original material. “Approaching Normal” arrived in 2008 produced by esteemed producer Steve Lillywhite and which debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200. The album was led by the single “Dirt Room” and followed by “Say It” which received a notable amount of U.S. radio airplay.

Blue October recorded and released a live unplugged album titled “Ugly Side: An Acoustic Evening With Blue October” to the delight of fans, and followed the released with a three-month acoustic tour. The band has subsequently released 2011’s “Any Man in America” produced by Tim Palmer, and 2013’s “Sway”, the group’s 7th studio album, featuring the tracks “Bleed Out” and “Light You Up”.

Live reviews

AMAZING as always. We were only surprised that Justin didn't introduce the band. Be played harmonica for the opening act, which was fantastic. Be played most of the show barefoot, which prevented him from coming down into to the crowd as on previous occasions, but that did NOT detract from the performance of the band or his amazing vocals and energy I'm trying to involve the crowd. I was at stage front. Friends who remained at the back of the theater in seats said they had a VERY hard time seeing the band due to poor stage lighting. There were four spotlights. Blue October I'd a band best scene from as close as you can get. The diversity of the set list was impressive and most enjoyable. The decision to close with "Leave it in the Dressing Room" was spot on. This year's Sherman show lacked some of the energy of the past, but who knows what Justin or other band members were dealing with last night. A cold, out maybe just a shitty day all around. I'll NEVER give them a bad review. Justin and I have lived parallel lives, brokenness, addiction, mental health, rebuilding, and now HOME with family and good friends. His state of being has ALWAYS come through his music. I actually heard people say last night that HOME is just too happy for Blue October. Justin and his family have earned that happiness and I'm SO glad to see him happy! Amazing slow, as always!!

Blue October are an excellent band to see in concert. They make me feel so many different emotions during their shows! I have seen them twice now and they put on a spectacular show!

The first time I saw them was April 2012. Justin Furstenfeld sings with so much feeling and you know it comes from the heart. I was really surprised at how they sound just like they do on their albums. There is nothing fake about the band. The second time I saw them was even more impressed, it was April 2014. They had released a new album and it was a so different from the last one. It was a more of an upbeat sound. But still Blue October! I also got to meet them and they are so genuine!

I am so impressed with their sound, it sets them apart from ANY band today, from Ryan Delahoussaye and his musical instruments, the violin, the mandolin and many, many more! He is a musical genius. The other guys, Jeremy Furstenfeld on the drums, Matt Noveskey on the bass and CB Hudson with lead guitar. Their sound is so unique, not like all the carbon copy bands out there today. It's what sets them apart and makes them in a league of their own! Any chance I get to see them, I will be there happily singing along with the rest of my Blue family and they have a huge following! So go seem them and find out what a different experience you will have with the most awesome band ever!

Ok so ... Blue October are the best band I’ve ever seen live . I normally attend a live gig weekly . I was incredibly excited to attend four Blue October concerts in the UK part of their tour . I did two meet & greets & the band were so nice , down to earth & genuine . I will definitely try to go to more of their concerts in the future (as many as possible) . After or before shows all band members were beyond amazing, always stopping for selfies or to sign stuff . Justin never got cranky even though there was always a line of people awaiting his attention. Matt is so genuine & such a nice guy ( my personal favorite as I really feel his music) . Ryan so willing to offer up violin lessons (randomly ) & Will (who we still class as a Blue Newbie ) has really settled in & is definitely there to stay . As for the show ... outstanding would be an understatement. I love Blue October, the music , the anecdotal stories Justin tells ... it all comes together as the greatest experience of my life !!! Also Chad was a dote & was so good to fans especially ones he recognized as being regulars at this stage . Ella on the merch desk is just about the nicest girl I’ve met & always had ‘the chat’ with us . All of these things really made our trip extra enjoyable (we travelled from Ireland to see them ) . They are just that good !

I am 51 years old and I have never loved a band like I love these five guys!!! My birthday is November 23 and my daughter bought me tickets to see them in Cleveland Ohio, it was amazing. I have listened to Justin and Blue October from the beginning. When they came out I was fighting a serious Illness and their music helped me through the most difficult time in my life, my husband and I suffered a miscarriage due to my illness and I thought I would never recover physically, emotionally, or mentally. Justin spoke to me through his music and brought me into the light. I will forever be grateful for their talent and love of their fans. After the show I got to cross off number one of my bucket list and that was to meet him and tell him thank you for saving me. He was so kind and sweet, I told him he was my birthday present and #1 on my bucket list, he smiled and kissed my hand. My heart was so full. I hope he knows how much he is appreciated and helps his fans. He connects with each one of us in the crowd and its like he is personally talking to us,and lets us know we are not alone. It doesn't matter whats going on in my life all I have to do is listen to him and I feel better and like I can go on. He is truly amazing!

Blue October has never disappointed me, this show was amazing!

The opening act Zeale was great reminded me of Linkin Park- Zeale,Dmyke and Lance Lane are a great trio and the song Invisible Prison with Justin Furstenfeld singing with them was a powerful performance.

Blue October took the stage like they owned it, singing and playing their instruments as if they were a part of them...pure, raw emotions touching the hearts and souls of all their devoted fans. Their interaction with the audience making everyone a part of the show made it a more personal experience.

This is just my opinion as a fan, they are my favorite band. A Blue October concert is always a one of a kind experience, to never forget. Justin, Jeremy, Ryan, Ceb and Matt put their all into every concert. This concert was one I will remember as long as I live. They care about their fans and it shows in their performance. Blue October will never let you down with their live shows. They are magical story tellers through their songs.

House of Blue Shows/Orlando 5/3 & 5/4 were absolutely amazing. I actually think this was one of the best concerts I've been to, seeing as I had an obstructed view and was forced to just listen and be in the music.

Not a huge fan of the venue, but for the group, willing to make the sacrifice.

I've been following the group since 2008 and love that they bring people together for various reasons. For me it was the realness of life and their experiences at first. Recently its been my personal life changes, sorta a shifting as I call it. For others I know its because of addiction to drugs/alcohol. I guess in some way I can relate to that as well, my ex was an alcoholic. I was mentally challenged and it did take its toll on me. Although that was years ago, the scars still remain.

All I can do is THANK Blue October for bringing a great group of people into my life who I can now call friends, BLUE Family forever...

Look forward to many years to come with these boys..

The Blue October concert at The Marc in San Marcos was simply amazing on 11-20-15. Great venue for a close and intimate performance. Not a bad place to be any where in there. You could see and hear the band the entire time. Great visuals, vocals and instruments in perfect balance. Great visual show. Great sound and absolutely love every song and the new cd release was filled with great anticipation and did not disappoint Best value for the money last night. They had two opening acts and both were quite good. Perfect length of time to perform approx 90 mins. Great interaction with the crowd. Volume was a perfect level as well. Had the best time I can remember in so many years. I have had the honor of watching them grow and become such a fan favorite over the years.

Perfect concert for the fan and perfect night.

One of the most amazing nights ever, by far the best show I have ever seen. They all were pumped and just they love their fans, the crowd really felt it. Its was so pure, raw and they poured everything they had into this show and as fans we all could feel it as well.. Amazing I met a lot of people who had never seen them before and I can for a fact say when they come back, we all plus more will be there I guarantee that. These people had no idea what was in store for them and at the end were in aww.. It only gets better with them, almost 20 yrs and I could never get tired of them they stay true to themselves and to the music and that is true talent!!

It was more than I could have ever expected, the band played so well you could feel the passion from all of them God justin did an amazing job..I meet both justin and matt and I was speechless literally all I could say was thank you lol, anyway it was cool that they stuck around and we got to meet them plus Danny Malone and his guys were awesome very nice guys played good live..I would drive another 7 hours to see them again anytime!! Love Blue October, to see the change justin has made is amazing and he has helped me to learn how to have Faith and get through my life he's amazing like that he's a Texan, wink

Wow!! was my overall impression. I was overwhelmed by Justin's enchanting voice, it was beautiful, powerful and emotional.

I must say I've seen a lot of bands live and these top the list. They were absolutely faultless and one of the best live bands I've heard by far.

They were close with the crowd and reached out to everyone of us in the room by their beautiful meaningful music.

One point Justin had the guitarist in a headlock singing away upside down and he still carried on playing brilliantly..that's what you call talent.

I'm looking forward to their next tour and can't wait to see them again.

Blue October’s Justin Furstenfeld talks family, recovery and new music

justin furstenfeld tour 2022

Blue October Blue October played the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach on Saturday. (Michael Praats/WECT)

WILMINGTON, N.C. (CAPE FEAR WEEKEND) - If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time as a journalist it’s that musicians can be tough interviews. They’re often on a time crunch, thinking about something other than the interview, and yes, sometimes inebriated; small talk can get pushed to the side and the questions can be surface deep.

So when I was ushered into the upstairs lounge at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Justin Furstenfeld, the Singer and founder of the rock band Blue October .

Furstenfeld wasn’t inebriated, in fact --- he is proudly in recovery and has been for 11 years --- and he assured me I could take all the time I needed and was genuinely interested in talking to me. Although I promised the tour manager I’d be fast and not keep him tied up too long before soundcheck, once we got talking, five minutes quickly turned into 20 (sorry Jason).

Covered in tattoos and wearing black Chuck Taylor’s, Furstenfeld has the rockstar look down --- but he wasn’t the stereotypical rockstar that most people imagine.

I started the conversation off the way I typically do, I introduced myself and told him a little about my day job as an investigative reporter. He immediately started asking more questions about my job and the stories I work on. It was a nice change of pace compared to the interviews I conduct day-in and day-out. The interview went off track for a little bit as we talked about my job, his dad’s career in law enforcement, and other friendly banter .

“You sitting down and telling me you’re an investigative reporter --- blows my mind. Now all I want to do is just take you to lunch and talk to you about all these things you’re doing,” he said.

Well, we didn’t have time for lunch and although he never acted like it, he really was on a time crunch and had to be at soundcheck in less than an hour.

Not wanting to be the reason his fans had to wait, I started asking my questions.

Life on the road, family, and making music

It’s been a busy year for Blue October, they kicked off the summer touring with the Goo Goo Dolls for three months. After a three-week break, they were back on the road touring, this time headlining shows across the country.

They also released the first part of a new album, ‘Spinning the Truth Around,’ earlier this year and have plans to release the second part of the album early next year. A multi-part album release isn’t the typical format for releasing new music, but just like the rest of us, COVID-19 gave Furstenfeld plenty of time to work on new projects as the world came to a standstill.

“We were all off for COVID for two-and-a-half years, so you better been f***ing busy somehow, I was writing songs,” he said. “We’ve got part two coming out in February and then I’ve got a book coming out late next year that I’ve been working on. It’s a collection of all the lyrics of every song that I’ve ever written and where they came from where it was when I wrote it.” .

It seems like a lot --- and it is --- but his passion for music and his love for his kids keep him going.

“I love it … it’s everything I want to do,” he said.

It’s that passion that has kept the band active for so many years.

justin furstenfeld tour 2022

“I’ve been doing music since ‘91 with my first band Last Wish, but with Blue October since ‘95 … f**k that’s almost 30 years,” he said, almost as if he just realized his musical career spans nearly three decades for the first time.

With such a busy schedule it’s easy to wonder how someone can stay motivated and keep a successful career for so long. Money, fame, and ‘stuff,’ are all driving factors for many people, not just musicians --- but Furstenfeld’s raison d’etre isn’t superficial.

“Everything I do is for my kids, I’m just so grateful that I get to do something I love so much,” he said.

It wasn’t the first time he brought up his family and it was clear that he meant what he said, his outlook on life was refreshingly different when compared to others I have interviewed in the past. He wasn’t afraid to talk about more personal subjects and his inspiration for his music and his philosophy on life.

“Life is has so many beautiful opportunities, and and being a recovering addict --- I’ve been in recovery for almost 11 years now --- and it just gets better and better and better,” he said.

For some, being open about their addictions and past can be difficult, but Furstenfeld had no problems talking about it, he even went on to talk to his fans about his recovery during a Q&A session before soundcheck. His sobriety is now one of the most important aspects of his life, and as a recovering addict myself we were able to talk candidly and without judgement.

The phrase m ens sana in corpore sano is Latin and roughly translates to ‘a healthy mind in a healthy body,’ it’s a phrase that came to mind when I asked him about life on the road and his wildly busy schedule.

“I would have definitely burned out if I would have kept drinking and using, I would have definitely burned out --- I don’t drink alcohol, I don’t do any drugs, I try to walk and exercise as much as I can,” he said. “I don’t eat bad. I only eat good things and clean things. I’m a very spiritual person and I put my sobriety and music first.”

Along with staying both mentally and physically healthy, Furstenfeld said he’s mindful about who he choses to spend his time with.

“What inspires me now is being able to spend time with good positive people that love me, and I love them and being able to learn different facets,” he said.

“The more I find myself, surrounding myself with positive people and letting the negative people go their own way, not hating them, just pushing them aside and praying for them, and just live out of kindness and be vulnerable, but strong, be confident, but not egotistical. That’s what my purpose in life is, to be the greatest father that I can.”

Rapid fire questions.

justin furstenfeld tour 2022

Blue October playing the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach on Dec. 3, 2022 (Michael Praats)

We waxed philosophical for a few more minutes but the interview turned a bit more lighthearted when I started asking some rapid-fire questions. It quickly turned into a game of sorts where we both got to learn a bit more about each other.

Converse or Vans?

JF : Definitely Converse. Always Converse. Vans are you know, they’re for cool people …

MP : Man, I’ve got my Vans on

JF : Vans are cool man! I’m from the ‘80s so it’s like that punk scene that hip hop scene that was for Converse.

Bauhaus or The Smiths?

JF : The Smiths! 100% I love Bauhaus, but the Smiths --- that is a great question!

MP : Is that one of your inspirations?

JF : Favorite bands, top five favorite bands

MP : What are some of the others?

JF : Definitely Peter Gabriel --- after Genesis, not with Genesis, and not ‘Sledgehammer and Big Time,’ I’m talking deep cuts. Love Radiohead always been a huge fan of Radiohead, huge fan of Frank Ocean, Cigarettes After Sex, huge Elliott Smith fan. Phoebe Bridgers right now, I really love Bridgers.

MP : If you could pick any band from any era, who would you want to tour with the most?

JF : I would want to open up for the cure, man, and then I’d want to open up for Radiohead. I mean, come on now that’s just funky fresh. If I could have The Cure, Radiohead, Coldplay Frank Ocean, the old Kanye West … Cowboy Junkies and Cigarettes After Sex, Mazzy Star and blue October, all touring together.

Turning the tables

I thought things were going well and we were having fun, then, Furstenfeld turned the tables and started asking me ‘either/or’ questions.

“Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin?” he asked.

“Hmm, Floyd,” I responded.

“F*** yes, thank you” he said. “Radiohead or Coldplay?”

“Radiohead.”

“F*** yes!”

Nailing the two first questions I thought I was on a roll, but we couldn’t seem to agree on a few.

“Bob Dylan or Bruce Springsteen?” he asked.

“Dylan,” I said confidently.

“F*** You!” he said jokingly, “It’s Springsteen!”

I was ready to defend my answer, but right about then the tour manager stuck his head in the room to see where we were at in the interview, after all I did say five minutes.

“Four more minutes, is that cool? We’re on a roll here,” Furstenfeld said.

The manager nodded and we kept on with the questions, we were having fun but with four minutes on the clock the time had come to get serious.

“Skinny Puppy or Nine Inch Nails?” I asked.

“Nine Inch Nails! Dude, I love Nine Inch Nails!” he said.

‘Phew,’ I thought, I’m not sure if he would have been able to continue the interview had he not gone with Nine Inch Nails (even if I do love Skinny Puppy).

“Smashing Pumpkins or Jane’s Addiction?” he asked.

“Jane’s Addiction, Perry Ferrell is a bada**,” I said.

“Jane’s Addiction, absolutely,” he agreed.

All of the bands we named were great in their own right and although his opinion might differ from mine the most surprising answer of the night wasn’t about music, but his favorite food.

“Pho --- Vietnamese soup, because it’s very clean. It’s very good for me and that’s kind of s***I eat every day. Like at night I always eat before I go onstage,” he said as we started to wrap up the interview.

Surprisingly, we stuck to the promise of four more minutes, actually, we were a few seconds shy of the mark.

We wrapped up the interview and took a few selfies before saying goodbye and back to the front of the house to wait on soundcheck I went. The entire interview felt like I was hanging out with a friend before we both had to get to work.

Soundcheck and showtime

I hadn’t planned to do an interview, I reached out to the band via email and asked if I could take photos, but was offered the full experience including a chance to watch soundcheck and do a quick meet and greet ahead of the show.

I didn’t take photos of the soundcheck but it was a unique experience for those who had tickets, for 20 minutes or so Justin and the rest of the band took questions from fans (and laughed as several people who raised their hands didn’t actually ask questions but made statements).

After that, the band played a song for us and ended the session with a photo opportunity with the band. When it was all said and done we made our way back outside to wait for the doors to officially open and for the band to take the stage.

The opening act was another Texas-based band, the Beatnik Bandits and I’ll be honest, I hadn’t heard of the band before that night, but once I got home I quickly followed them on Spotify . It was obvious the band has their roots in Rock music, but they also mix in some pop and Americana as well. All in all it was a great performance and the energy from everyone in the band was enough to fire up the crowd ahead of Blue October.

After a brief intermission, Blue October took the stage. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and when I say the excitement from the crowd was intense, I mean it. There was hardly any space for me to stand it was so packed at the House of Blues. Luckily, I was given a photo pass and after fighting my way to the side of the stage I took my place at the very front, between the stage and the crowd.

From the first song on the energy from the band was as intense as the excitement from the fans who were singing along with every verse.

When I was finally done taking photos I made my way to the back of the venue to watch the show and finally got a chance to catch my breath and reflect on the experience. I don’t usually write nearly 2,000 words on a band or a concert, but I also don’t typically get a chance to meet or spend time with people like Furstenfeld.

You can check out some more of the photos from the show below.

Customer

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Moscow, a City Like No Other

Moscow is Russia’s largest city with a population of between 12 and 13 million. It is also Europe’s largest city and when you visit Moscow, you can feel it. The layout and architecture of the city is eclectic, ranging from crooked, ancient streets and alleyways to wide, bustling boulevards, from medieval churches to Stalin skyscrapers and to modern, glass buildings towering over everything and of course in the center of it all is the Kremlin and the magnificent Red Square. Moscow is also home to a fantastic, efficient and very beautiful metro system – each station having its own special design. In fact, Express to Russia’s Moscow metro tours and excursions are some of our most popular attractions that we offer. On our Moscow tours, you will see this and more.

Moscow Tours centering on Russian History

Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.

Frequently Asked Questions From Our Travelers

What is the best time to visit moscow.

Any time of year is fine depending on what you plan to do. Summertime is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the city and its vibrant atmosphere, but Moscow will be much busier and accommodation is more expensive. Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. There are also various festivals and events organised throughout the year. For more information about the best time to visit, read our guide

How many days are enough in Moscow?

If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. For an informative and well-organised day out, check out our Moscow day tours with options to suit all interests.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues announces 2024 tour. Get tickets now

A “Night In White Satin” may be coming to you.

This summer, Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues is taking his ‘Blue World Tour’ to performing arts centers, music halls, ranches, pavilions and theaters all over North America with Christopher Cross on select dates.

That includes quite a few stops in New York and New Jersey for the 2018 Rock Hall of Fame inductee.

First, the “Tuesday Afternoon” singer is slated to drop into Red Bank, NJ’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre on Wednesday, July 3.

After that, he hits Tarrytown, NY’s Tarrytown Music Hall on Friday, July 5, Morristown, NJ’s Mayo Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, July 16 and finally, he’ll deliver the hits at Bethel, NY’s Bethel Woods Center For The Arts on Wednesday, July 17.

“I’m rediscovering songs I have written and sung over the years – some that I only lived with for a few days while they were being recorded,” Hayward said in a press release regarding his last tour, according to All About The Rock .

“Now, I have a chance to experience the feelings that they gave me then, every night on stage, as well as including in our set the favourites that have been milestones on my musical journey. I’m joined by the ‘guitar genius’ that is Mike Dawes, along with Julie Ragins and Karmen Gould, two of the brightest talents in music.”

If you can’t wait to sing along to “Question,” “Your Wildest Dreams,” “The Story In Your Eyes” and so many more Moody Blues classics as well as a few choice cuts from Hayward’s solo catalog, tickets can be yours for all 14 U.S. ‘Blue World’ concerts as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster for select shows until Friday, April 19, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
