What makes us the Best Private Tour Guides in Barcelona?

Guests during our luxury private tours of Barcelona, Spain

Meet Marta, the soul of ForeverBarcelona

I’m Marta, founder and soul of Forever Barcelona Tours.

Always in love with Barcelona, its people and its food, I’m convinced there’s no better way to make visitors fall in love with the city than a great private tour of Barcelona .

You’ve been dreaming of visiting these sites for who knows how long. Now we can show you that there’s much more than you ever imagined.

It’s our turn to wow you. Let’s us fascinate you!

Family Friendly

1000+ happy guests, airport pick-ups, shore excursions, frequent questions about our barcelona private guided tours.

  • How can I know you are legit ? 900+ reviews on Tripadvisor alone vouch for us. We’ve just started collecting reviews on Google , but you can also find a few dozens there already. We’ve also appeared on international media.
  • Can you skip lines at the top sites ? Yes, our licensed guides are entitled to skip lines at the top sites, and when that’s not an option we purchase priority tickets.
  • Are your tour guides official ? Yes, all our guides are licensed by the Catalan government.
  • Do your tours include transportation ? It depends. We offer both walking tours and car tours of the city. Walking tours may require taxi or subway rides, that you pay for as you go. Chauffeured city tours and day trips out of town include a private professional driver with a fully insured Mercedes vehicle.
  • Are your tours kid friendly ? Barcelona is very child friendly, and our tour guides are great at keeping the little ones happy and entertained. We don’t recommend tours longer than 6 hours for the youngest ones, though.
  • Are your tours accessible ? We do our best, but we are limited by the conditions available at each site. Each tour description specifies the energy levels that the itinerary requires. And we are always happy to adapt the itinerary so you can cover way more than you would on your own!
  • Is VAT included ? All required taxes are included. Check out our FAQ to find more about what’s included and excluded .
  • Do you do Gaudi Tours ? Sure! We are Gaudi specialists and we have probably the widest offer of tours about Gaudi architecture in Barcelona. This is our best seller .
  • What’s the best for for cruise passengers ? Our chauffeured highlights tour is the favorite of cruise passengers.
  • Can we start at the airport ? Yes, we can send a driver to pick you up at the airport, then you’ll meet your tour guide in the city to start your tour. Here is an example of what can be done in 4 hours.
  • What are the most popular day trips out of town ? Our half day trip to Montserrat is our best selling day trip, followed by our full day tour of Girona and Figueres (Dali Museum).

We are the best, and you deserve no less!

With Civitatis, there are lots of activities to check out! Go on a cruise, visit Camp Nou , go on a wine tour, attend a flamenco show... you won't run out of things to do.

Day trips & excursions from Barcelona

After touring Girona – which is home to the best-preserved Jewish quarter in Europe – you'll venture to Figueres, a small town near the French border and the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. You'll visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum and see some of the places the influential artist frequented as an adult. Travelers say that though this tour covers a lot of ground and subject matter, it never feels overwhelming thanks to the small group (up to eight participants) and attentive guide. Others said this is a particularly good option for solo travelers.

Tickets include round-trip hotel transportation and museum entrance. Tours depart from Barcelona Tuesday through Sunday at 8:30 a.m. This tour operator runs a variety of other tours, including daytrips to Montserrat and Sitges, among other destinations.

What other guests say about our tours and locals

Pleasant and very knowledgeable

"Liliia was a wonderful tour guide in every way possible!! Her depth of knowledge was incredible, and her delivery reflected her love of the city!! She is extremely pleasant and creates a warm atmosphere conducive to an extremely engaging experience. Thank you for making our first day in Barcelona a truly amazing experience!!😊"

local Liliia

Very Knowledgeable

"Elvira coordinated our arrival at Montserrat to make it as easy as possible. She then gave us valuable insight into the Abbey’s history before walking us through the excellent museum. All our party of 12 were most impressed with her knowledge of the paintings and artists. We concluded our visit with the Boys Choir singing in the Abbey. A truly memorable experience for which Elvira has our gratitude "

local Elvira

Review about Ellie

"Ellie was wonderful tour guide and was so accommodating and flexible with our schedule. She made the tour so much fun and we were amazed by the details, insights, and history as the Bible literally unfolded throughout our walk of the facades. My 17 year old son loved her enthusiasm and after the tour had a completely different appreciation for this breathtaking masterpiece of the Sagrada Familia. We would highly recommend Ellie and are looking forward to booking another few tours with her before we depart beautiful Barcelona."

local Ellie

Barcelona Like You've Never Seen Before

"An incredible experience with Barcelona's classic sites, wonders and hidden gems. Beautiful and very intresting history and stories behind each site. His tour was an interactive tour that kept us intrigued at all times. Moises was our guide and an amazing one at that. He speakes very good English as well as Spanish. The tour itself was very engaging with kids of any age as well as parents. He shared his personal favorites about food spots, as well as what to look out for as tourists when it comes to pickpockets and tourists traps. Overall, we loved Moises as our guide and would definitely recommend him. Warm regards from all adults and teens in the group!"

local Moisés

Excellent tour guide

"With my husband we had an excellent afternoon visit with Ramona: We had a better understanding about the history of the city, the building, places that local people go hanging around. We found that having a guide living in the city would be good to have this understanding (on top of the books). It makes it more “lively”. She advised us many places to go, to eat, to visit. She is fun, had a really good Spanish and was open to discussion. She has tailored made our tour which was great. We highly recommend her. "

local Ramona

Amazing experience, Lusi was incredible!

"Where do I begin? Lusi was so knowledgeable, friendly, and personable throughout our time with her. She taught us things we hadn’t learned since being in Barcelona and brought us to the BEST restaurants. It is so apparent she cares about the tours she gives and strives to give the best possible tour and creates her planned stops around things we also care about trying and tasting. She even took the time to give us additional recommendations for the remainder of our trip. I can guarantee you won’t leave hungry, we would definitely do another tour with Lusi again! "

local Lusi

"Elvira! You were resourceful, thoughtful, kind, and very knowledgeable. Thank you for pulling together our ‘hidden gems’ tour on one of the few days Barcelona has a holiday and all (well, nearly!) the local restaurants were closed. We certainly recommend your tour highly and yes, we will be back! "

guest Emma

So many Hidden Gems!

"Liliia was always prompt with meeting with me. She knew so many places to look at around Barcelona, down narrow streets with no one around to all the tourist areas. Liliia knows Barcelona like the back of her hand! You will not regret booking with her!"

guest Monica

Knowledgeable and Kind

"Liliia was prompt to our meeting location and always in contact. She knew everything Guadi and non-Guadi related we walked for hours but she made the time pass with ease. I’ve learned so much from her. She is so kind, please book with her for the BEST time in Barcelona!"

Perfect Day in Barcelona

"Sebastian was great on our food tour of Barcelona. He is so personable and very knowledgeable about the city. It was like having a friend show us around Barcelona. I highly recommend doing a tour with him. I'm sorry this review is so late!! "

local Sebastian
