Full Itinerary

On arrival at Da Nang International Airport , you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in town. After check-in and repose, visit the Cham Museum – the houses of the complete collection of Cham artifacts anywhere in the world and the Marble Mountain – the five elements of the Universe (water, wood, air, fire, and earth). Relax. Then get on the vehicle and transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town. Check in the hotel and relax. Overnight in Hoi An.

This morning, leave Hoi An for My Son Holy Land which used to be an imperial city during the Cham dynasty; My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. Their religion was primarily derived from Indian Hinduism. My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century.

My Son Sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 70 architectural works. They include temples and towers that connect to each other with complicated red brick designs. The main component of the Cham architectural design is the tower, built to reflect the divinity of the King. Spend 2 hours exploring the complex before going back to Hoi An for lunch.

After breakfast, you are picked up at the hotel in Hoi An then transfer to Ba Na Hill , take a cable car trip (awarded 2 GUINNESS records) to Ba Na Hills Resort , enjoying green natural forests and Dream Stream, Elephant Rock, Rainbow from above. Upon arrival, we take a walking tour to visit Linh Ung Pagoda with the Big Buddha Statue , Golden Bridge ,  Le Jardin Garden , the Old Wine Vault ..etc.

After lunch, transfer to Hue via Hai Van Pass – one the of most beautiful passes in Vietnam – which owns the perfect combination of the mountains and sea. On arrival in Hue and check-in hotel, you are free to explore this romantic city and our recommendation is to visit Dong Ba Market to get a closer look at the local lifestyle. Overnight in Hue.

After breakfast, visit Hue   Citadel Imperial  and the Forbidden Purple City , the UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well as the living and working of the royal families of the last Nguyen Dynasty.

Then go on to the Imperial Citadel with Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh).. to see the living, working, worshiping and relaxing areas of Nguyen Kings’ family, the last royal family in Vietnam.

Visit Thien Mu Pagoda By Boat

We start the Hue city group tour by taking a Hue dragon boat to go along the Perfume River to visit the 400-year-old pagoda, Thien Mu Pagoda.

Thien Mu Pagoda , also known as the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, is an iconic Buddhist temple located on the Perfume River in Hue. Constructed in 1601, the pagoda is a seven-story tower that stands as a symbol of the city. Moreover, it is considered one of the oldest and most beautiful religious structures in central Vietnam.

The pagoda’s serene setting, historical significance, and stunning architecture make it a must-visit attraction in Hue. Our local tour guide will tell you ancient stories and love curses about this sacred pagoda.

Tour Around Hue Imperial Citadel Complex

At 10:30 AM, we will explore the complex of Hue Imperial Citadel , including Hue Citadel, Royal City, and Forbidden City. It’s the former working area and private residence of 13 Nguyen Emperors, concubines, and eunuchs.

This tomb is an exquisitely harmonious blend of architecture and natural landscape. Therefore, it perfectly reflects the philosophical and aesthetic ideals of the Nguyen Dynasty. Built in 1840, this serene and majestic mausoleum complex, with its lakes, gardens, and pavilions, serves as the final resting place of Emperor Minh Mang.

It is such a nice and meaningful tomb, with a lot of stuff prepared while he was still alive. It is only for the afterlife of the emperor. Our tour guide will tell you a scary secret about the burial process at the end of the tomb.

Admire Khai Dinh Tomb

Then, we will visit the tomb of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, Khai Dinh Emperor. It is the smallest tomb but is known as the most expensive and beautiful tomb in the tomb system of the Nguyen Dynasty and around the world.

The Royal Tomb of Khai Dinh is an architectural marvel that blends traditional Vietnamese design with European influences. Built between 1920 and 1931, this elaborate mausoleum features intricate ceramic and glass decorations. Those have stood as a testament to the lavish and unique aesthetic preferences of Emperor Khai Dinh.

Therefore, nowadays, it is one of the new heritages in the world. You would say “WOW, WOW” twice when entering the Thien Dinh Palace in the Khai Dinh Tomb.

Drop By Hue Incense Village

Explore the Central World Heritage road of Vietnam

Day 1. Da Nang Arrival (D)

Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, meet our guide and drive around to have an overview of Da Nang coastal city, visit Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son), discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the Marble Mountain. You also visit the stone sculpturing village. Continue on to Son Tra peninsula named as Monkey Mountain to visit Linh Ung Pagoda and stopover by My Khe beach – classified as one of the most attractive beaches on earth. Check-in your hotel and have dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 2. Da Nang – Hoi An – My Son (B, L)

Morning, depart from your hotel in Da Nang to My Son sanctuary which was once an imperial city during the Champa dynasty, between the 4th and the 12th centuries. We travel about 50km to visit My Son sanctuary, visit the ruins towers of Cham people and learn about of architecture of Cham civilization. Spend about 1.5 hour to see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. You will also have chance to enjoy the traditional Apsara dancing of Cham girls.

Drive back to Hoi An town to have lunch and take a walking tour around visiting to the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colorful riverside market. You also see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like. Return to your hotel late afternoon.

Day 3. Da Nang – Hue (B, L)

Morning depart from your hotel to Hue (2.5 hours land transfer), on the way to stop for sightseeing the high mountain pass of Hai Van; Lang Co beach; the lagoon far below with Da Nang spread out. On arrival in Hue, start driving to visit one of the tomb of Nguyen Emperors – Minh Mang tomb, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes or tomb of Khai Dinh, a blend of Western and Eastern architecture or Tu Duc or Gia Long tomb. Then return to the city to have lunch at a typical Garden House restaurant.

Afternoon, go on to visit the Imperial Citadel with the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh).., leisurely troll through the bustling Dong Ba Market. Enjoy dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Hue.

Day 4. Hue – Da Nang (B, L)

This morning you board a boat for a cruise on the Perfume River giving you a taste of the scenic countryside, as well as an enjoyable visit to the beautiful Pagoda of Thien Mu with its impressive ‘Heavenly Lady’ seven-story tower. Check out your hotel and depart for Da Nang.

Check in your hotel in Da Nang and relax on your own leisure. Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 5. Da Nang Departure (B)

Free at your own leisure before transferring to Da Nang airport for your departure flight home.
