About this event.
Cheltenham Animal Shelter has been rescuing and rehoming pets for almost 100 years thanks to the support of the local community.
Although vulnerable animals are at the heart of everything we do, we are more than 'just' an animal shelter and have a wide range of education programs, community outreach and fundraising events for everyone to enjoy and to help spread our passion for responsible pet ownership throughout Gloucestershire.
Our Shelter tours are designed to share what we do and, of course, let you see some of our special pets too!
Tours will last 30-45minutes. Tickets are free of charge but you can make a donation if you wish.

Donating items for the animals.
We very much appreciate the support of the public with donations for our Shelter animals, which are vital to our ongoing operations.
However, when items that we cannot use are donated it costs the Charity money to dispose of them so we kindly ask that you check the following information before leaving items in our donation shed.

Bookings cannot be made on the day. All general visitors must book to be on a tour, and children should be accompanied by an adult. No owners' dogs or other pets are allowed on the tour. There are no refreshment facilities on-site. If you need assistance with your booking, please call us on 01242 548775.
