Day 1 : Welcome to Paris

Day 3 : After breakfast

Day to ride on fast train to Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, sited on Lake Lucerne, is embedded within an impressive mountainous panorama. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 4 : Enjoy Mount Titlis and en-route visit engelberg.

At the summit of the 3000-metre mountain, a breathtaking panorama as well as other highlights await: various restaurants with sun terraces, the Glacier Cave (free admission), the “Titlis Cliff Walk” – Europe’s highest suspension footbridge – and of course eternal snow and ice. On the glacier chairlift “Ice Flyer” visitors literally fly over the Titlis glacier to the Glacier Park, a free attraction.

Later in afternoon enjoy boat cruise. An excursion to Central Switzerland is just not complete without a boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. Whether a Lunch Cruise on the modern MS Diamant or a romantic cruise at sunset on an antique paddle steamer – it’s a must.

Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 5 : Train transfer to Interlaken. Check-in at your hotel.

In afternoon enjoy a fleet of 14 boats, two of which are paddle steamers, navigate Lakes Thun and Brienz. The delightful lakes in the middle of the imposing mountain landscapes of the Bernese Oberland offer a unique way of experiencing unrivalled natural beauty in a completely relaxed way – no matter the weather.  Overnight in Interlaken.

Later enjoy Jungfraujoch via grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. For more than 100 years, the Jungfrau railway has been making its journey to Europe’s highest-altitude railway station at 3454 metres a.s.l. – right at the heart of the UNESCO heritage site “Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch”. All through the year, the cog railway runs steeply up through a tunnel to the Jungfraujoch from Kleine Scheidegg.

The tunnel leading up from the station Eigergletscher is seven kilometres in length and was built between 1896 and 1912. One stop within the tunnel offers spectacular views onto the glacier world outside through windows in the Eiger North Face. On the summit, visitors are greeted by a high-Alpine wonder world made of ice, snow and rocks. All of this can be marvelled at from the viewing platforms “Sphinx” and “Plateau” on the Aletsch glacier or from the “Ice Palace”.

Later proceed to your hotel in Zurich.

Day 6 : Proceed to the Zurich airport for your flight to Naples

Paris – drifting down the seine and french bistro experience.

Begin your vacation when you land in Paris, the City of Lights and innumerable icons. While the Eiffel Tower stands high and the Champs-Elysees awaits you, there is so much more to this city than the postcards. Almost every street is a charm, especially in the heart of Paris. Small cafes are located in cobbled back-lanes and church spires peek above townhouses. Musicians play on bridges as locals take picnics to the River Seine. After you land, you will be transferred to a hotel in the Latin Quarter. This afternoon is free and there are so many sites to enjoy around the hotel. Just take a stroll and soak up the local style.

In the late afternoon, the guide takes you to a Parisian bistro. Fine foods come from all over France to be sold here including cured meats, a complete array of cheeses, truffles, olive oils, pâtés, and wines to wash it all down. You will tour the country’s food without ever leaving your stool, then walk it off by heading to the River Seine. As dusk draws near, board a boat for a three-hour cruise up and down the waterway. Pass the grand architecture then watch it transform, with beautiful illuminations found on most of the icons, such as the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, and Louvre Pyramid. Tonight you’ll understand why Paris is called the City of Lights.

Today will be free for you to explore the iconic sites of Paris at your leisure, be it the Musee d’Orsay, Louvre Museum, Palace of Versailles, or other famous attractions. Lucerne – A Stunning Train Journey Into the Alps

The journey to Lucerne is sublime. First, you will cross the French countryside of rolling wheat-fields and farmhouse-studded valleys, and the train slows as it passes through small towns and villages. Then, venture up into the mountains as you rise toward the Swiss border with a quick change of trains in Zurich. Traveling in Switzerland will be even more delightful. The alpine peaks surround you in all directions as the valleys narrow and you approach Lucerne. Disembark in the old town and a guide will transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy a relaxed five-hour train journey followed by an afternoon in the old city.

Find a lion carved into a rock, a winding bridge lined with art, and a medieval core that seems to be hidden from the world. Lucerne will feel very calm after your time in Paris and you’ll quickly appreciate the Swiss style. Despite the country’s reputation for banks and the high economy, Switzerland is where life moves slowly with its mountain air and the humbling scale of the Alps. Take your time along the river, walk the ancient cobbles, and sit down for cheese fondue, the quintessential dish to try in this part of the world.

Lucerne – A Day in the Mountains and Glaciers

This morning you’ll ride the world’s first revolving gondola, with 360-degree panoramic views as you travel above 10,000 feet. Below you, glaciers stretch out, all icy white and imposing. Mountains cluster, their rugged peaks intense with detail. In an ice grotto, you gaze upon strange alpine creations. On a chairlift, you ride over a glacier and look down on crevasses and ice-falls. This area around Mount Titlis is glacier paradise, and there’s something about the snow that doesn’t seem real, especially considering you were crossing sun-baked French countryside only yesterday. Spend a day in the high Alps then return to Lucerne, where cafes provide a place to warm up with a mug of mulled wine.

Lucerne – The Top of Europe at Jungfraujoch

Today you will travel even higher, to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe. While it is not quite the very top, it will feel that way when you disembark at Europe’s highest railway station. Step out into an ethereal world of snow and ice, with three of the continent’s largest mountains forming a ring around you. The Ice Palace is ephemeral, sculpted new every year, and its ice glistens a soft blue as if from a fairytale. From here you look across at Europe’s longest glacier, toward the snow-dappled peaks of Switzerland’s neighbors. Like yesterday, you will be deep in the Alps, discovering a land that seems cut off from the manmade world. Switzerland has made these high alpine regions accessible and that’s one of the country’s highlights, notably the incredible cogwheel train.

Venice – Venice From the Water

After a 20-minute transfer out of Lucerne, you will board a direct train to Venice. Sit back and complete your journey through the Alps as the train meanders through Switzerland, zigzags to a high altitude, and then rolls down into Italy. The colors of this new country are shown through the window. Lakes roll past, valleys are dotted with sheep and cows, and church spires dominate stone villages. Then, as you roll toward Milan you will enter Italy’s industrial heart. The scenery is less impressive but there are plenty of interesting city scenes to observe. From Milan, the train zooms east across bucolic landscapes to the sparkling blue of Mediterranean waters.

Today you will travel from the mountains to the Mediterranean in one day. Venture into Venice as you travel on a gondola down the Grand Canal. Pass beneath famous bridges and admire the shimmering reflections. Gaze across at medieval palaces then travel down secluded waterways, where you admire the special quality of this city on the water. A gondola ride is a perfect introduction to Venice and it will take you straight to your hotel. Disembark into the hotel and the rest of the day will be at your leisure. You can explore the Venetian islands on foot and the gondolier is available to transfer you anywhere you wish to go.

Venice – Venetian Islands and Venice on the Land

Venice is an archipelago, an assortment of central islands connected by bridges, plus a series of other islands reached by sailboat. The city’s industry was based on the outlying islands, especially the world-famous glassblowing found on Murano. Sail to Murano this morning and get a private tour of a glass factory before you cruise to nearby Burano and its colorful fishing houses. A magnificent cathedral is the highlight of Torcello, along with a waterfront restaurant for a languid lunch with wine. Spend the afternoon back in the heart of the Venetian Republic where a local guide will show you St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace, and other famous places.

Florence – Romantic Balconies and Renaissance History

Hop on the train and within the hour you’ll be in Verona, the fair city that Shakespeare wrote so eloquently about. Imagine you are Romeo and gaze up at Juliet’s tiny 14th-century balcony. Then, imagine a Roman time in the vast first-century amphitheater, as its numerous archways provide a glimpse of what you’re going to discover tomorrow. Verona evolved over the centuries and a walking tour will connect contrasting eras, illustrating how architecture and styles changed. You can tour Verona in a couple of hours, but it’s worth staying for lunch on Piazza delle Erbe, and discussing Shakespeare’s creation with the guide.

Pick up your luggage from the train stain storage and continue today’s journey as another short ride takes you to Florence. The architecture here is distinct from anything you saw in Verona as much of it is an emblem of the early Renaissance style that was formed in the city. Admire the golden domes and walk across grand squares before you choose whether to visit Galleria dell’Accademia or the Uffizi Gallery. The former museum houses Michelangelo’s David while the latter has the world’s greatest variety of Renaissance art. Although you only have one night in Florence it’s relatively easy to get a good feel for the city, in particular the harmony of its architectural style. It’s also a great city to eat local as the Florentine steak is the legendary dish.

Rome – The Heart of an Ancient Empire

Florence to Rome will be the grandest train journey on your tour. Weave out of the city into Tuscany, where the landscape is carpeted with vines and olive groves. Small stone towns punctuate the farms, and a church dome can easily be spotted from afar. The train will slow as you travel through some of these towns, providing a glimpse at rural Tuscan life. You’ll travel in a first-class carriage, a very comfortable and relaxing way to see more of the country. Your tour is based in cities, but by traveling on the railway, you will gain impressions of rural France, wild Switzerland, and unspoiled Italy.

Arrive on the water once more and travel into the old empire. Walk past the Roman Forum where cracked columns stand to attention and ruined temples are suggestive of yesteryear. The Colosseum awaits, dramatic in both scale and detail. Over 50,000 could be seated here, and you can sense the drama, especially when you step over the rope to access the third tier, an area usually closed to the public. After the Colosseum, there will be many other famous sites to take in as the guide leads you across piazzas to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and other postcard icons.

Welcome to Paris! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

Early in the morning, we will leave for Versailles, the immense palace of the kings of France. After that, we will return to Paris at lunch time where we provide a transfer to the Montmartre dis­trict. We will ascend by funicular to the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top. Thisneighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cab­arets… Sit down for lunch and enjoy a magical atmosphere. Then, a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and thebreathtaking monuments of Paris will take place. Return to hotel. Optionally you can attend a variety show.

We go to the center of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to go up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then, we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.

Today we travel to the center of France, to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. Making a stop in SEMUR EN AUXOIS, a small medieval town listed surrounded by impressive walls. After this we will visit BEAUNE, located in the center of the Bourgogne region, with its streets full of flowers, hospice and wine museum all points of interest. Continuing on, we will arrive to LYON in the mid-afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône (its historic center has been declared a World Heritage site). We include a funicular climb to Notre Dame de Fourvière where we have a great view of the city. Enjoy some leisure time to walk around. Part of the groups will be accommodated in Chambery, a city near Lyon. In these cases, we will leave at the end of the afternoon for CHAMBERY and accommodation. We will then have some time early in the morning to visit the capital of Savoy, a medieval-style city with beautiful historic center and a large castle.

A beautiful stage awaits us as we set off for Switzerland. Arrival in GENEVA. The guide will take us to the Palais des Nations (the European headquarters of the United Nations), the beautiful “Jardin Anglais” (with its quaint flower clock), and the “Jet d´Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe.After lunch, we will continue travelling through Switzerland by the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel lakes. We will drive the scenic road alongside the three large lakes, with their magnificent vineyards overlooking the mountains. We will stop in NEUCHATEL, where you can enjoy a walk by the lake, the historic town center or visit its beautiful, 10th century castle. We will then head to ZURICH. Arrival in the late afternoon.Note: depending on the number of passengers travelling from Geneva to Zürich, this part of the trip might be done by train - in which case, there will be no stop in Neuchatel.

With our guide, we will have a tour of ZURICH, the most populated city of Switzerland, and the country’s financial and cultural capital. The city of the banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we will include a cruise of almost two hours on Lake Zürich. The boat makes brief stops to allow us to see the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWILL, a picturesque little village overlooked by its mediaeval castle. We go back to Zurich by train and appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways. Note: Depending on the number of travelers, the transfers to the center and from the station may be made on public transport.

Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich

Today´s journey has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. We will stop in GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to mountain. We will walk along the winding path which will lead us to the suspended bridge. Dare to walk across the bridge amongst the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We will have lunch up in the mountain (included) before heading back down. We continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In the evening we have time to stroll around, enjoying the city and to have dinner before returning to the hotel in Zurich.Note: The guide will offer you the possibility of a full day optional visit, leaving in the morning and, after some free time to discover Lucerne, we take a rotating cable car to reach the top of Mount Titlis. At the alpine summit, at over 3000m above sea level, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.

Time to have a stroll and grab lunch. Next, we will reach the enchanting little town of MORCOTE famous for its flowery stone houses. We will then travel to Italy. Today we continue our journey towards PISA. On a little tourist train, we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to ROME, arriving at the end of the day.

In the morning, we have a scenic tour, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We will visit the tiny state of the Vatican, the epicenter of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. We include the entrance to the Imperial Forums, an impressive architectural complex formed by monumental buildings and squares, center of the political activity of Imperial Rome.At the end of the evening we arrange a transfer to Trastevere area for a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the district with hidden treasures, such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or scenes of daily life. Many trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and international food can be found in this area. Return to hotel.Note: on many occasions during the low season, as well as in some specific dates of the rest of the year, instead of the entrance to the Imperial Forums, we will enter the Roman Colosseum, symbol of Rome.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the well-planned, well-executed trip. Itinerary (Day Wise)

Rome (1 night).

‘Mumbai to Mumbai Tour’ guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Rome - capital of Italy, is one of the oldest cities in the world. Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests for airport formalities and proceed to the city. Joining and Leaving tour guests will join the group on their own at the designated place or hotel. Upon arrival we walk through the amazing historical sights of Rome, we visit Trevi Fountain - the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world, Piazza Venezia - the central hub of Rome, here we see Mussolini's Balcony - The spot where the fascist dictator made some of his most famous speeches including declaring war on Britain and France, Roman Forum - a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the centre of the city of Rome. Here we see the statue of Julius Caesar whose remains were buried at the site of his cremation and a temple built atop this site, Tiber River – third longest river in Italy, followed by a photo stop at the backdrop of Colosseum - also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. Note: As per the Schengen visa rule, we need to process your Schengen visa from the consulate of the country we’ll be entering first on our Europe tour or staying in for the maximum number of days. 'Joining & Leaving' guests will also have to get their visas processed from the consulate of the same country; otherwise, boarding might be denied by the airline, or even entry into that country can be banned.

Rome – Vatican – Pisa (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Vatican City – world’s smallest country where the Pope lives and is often called Holy See. Upon arrival we visit the largest church in the world St. Peter's Basilica - an Italian Renaissance church and an important pilgrimage site. Later we proceed to Pisa - a city in Italy's Tuscany region best known for its iconic Leaning Tower. Upon arrival we explore Pisa city, we see Square of Miracles – UNESCO World Heritage Site, an important centre of European medieval art and one of the finest architectural complexes in the world, Baptistery – a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building in Pisa, Pisa Cathedral - a medieval Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and is a notable example of Romanesque architecture and Leaning tower of Pisa – a freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation.

Pisa – Venice – Vicenza (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Venice- built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It has no roads but just canals. Upon arrival we enjoy Vaporetto water bus ride to Venice Island and the Gondola ride in the famous canals of Venice. Later we walk through Venice city, we see the Bridge of Sighs – an enclosed limestone bridge in baroque style which passes over the Rio di Palazzo, and connects the New Prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace, Doge’s Palace - a palace built in Venetian Gothic style, and was the residence of the Doge of Venice, Bell Tower – also known as St Mark's Campanile, is the bell tower of St Mark's Basilica which is 98.6 metres (323 ft) tall, St. Mark's Square - principal public square of Venice and St Mark's Basilica – also known as The Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark, it is the most famous of the city's churches and one of the best known examples of Italian-Byzantine architecture. Later we proceed to Vicenza.

Vicenza – Lake Como – Zurich (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Zurich – A global centre for banking and finance. En-route we drive through Lake Como - an upscale resort area known for its dramatic scenery, set against the foothills of the Alps.

Mt. Titlis – Lucerne

Today we proceed to Engelberg- the largest winter and summer holiday destination. From here we do half day excursion to Mt Titlis – Central Switzerland’s highest peak. We take ‘Titlis Rotair’- World’s first cable car with revolving gondolas to the summit Station, enjoying panoramic views of the Swiss Alps along the way. Upon arrival at the summit, we visit Ice Grotto, enjoy thrilling Ice Flyer ride and Snow sliding. Further we take a stroll on the Mt. Titlis Cliff walk. In the afternoon we proceed to Lucerne. Upon arrival we explore Lucerne city, we see Lion Monument - a giant dying lion carved out of a wall of sandstone rock, which commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution, Kappelbrucke Wooden Bridge - world's oldest covered wooden bridge spanning the River Reuss. In the evening we enjoy Lake Lucerne Cruise.

Jungfraujoch – Interlaken

Today we do a full day excursion to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. First we proceed to Grindelwald, from here we board Eiger Express – The most modern tricable gondola of the world. We reach at Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes. Further we board a Cogwheel train and admire the view of the picture-perfect peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau along the way and then disembark at Europe’s highest railway station which is at an elevation of 3,454 metres (11,332 ft). Upon arrival we see the breath taking view of snow-capped mountains, Ice sculptures, Ice Palace and Sphinx Terrace. In the evening we explore Interlaken city- a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.

Zurich – Bern – Broc – Vevey – Geneva (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Bern - The capital of Switzerland is built on a sandstone ridge, encircled on three sides by the River Aare flowing through a valley. Upon arrival we enjoy walking tour of Bern city, we see Bear Pits - a Swiss heritage site of national significance, and is of particular significance in Bern because the bear is a symbol of Bern, Bern Clock Tower – 800 years old astronomical Clock Tower (Zytglogge), Old town - UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the medieval city center of Bern, Einsteinhaus - a museum and a former residence of Physicist Albert Einstein and Aare River - the longest river flowing entirely within Switzerland. Further we visit Maison Cailler – The Swiss chocolate factory at Broc. We then proceed to Vevey - a Swiss town on Lake Geneva and known for being one of the “Pearls of the Swiss Riviera”. Here we visit Chaplin’s world - a museum and a former residence of the British comedian, actor, director and composer Charlie Chaplin. Later we proceed to Geneva - Popularly known as the 'capital of peace’, as it is the headquarters of Red Cross and the European seat of the UNO. Upon arrival we explore Geneva city, in the orientation tour we see Jet D’eau fountain - 140 metres high water fountain and the official logo for Geneva's hosting of the 2008 UEFA Championships, Geneva lake - Switzerland’s largest lake, Flower Clock – a large working clock made of flowers that changes with the seasons, UN Building - office of the United Nations in Geneva is the European headquarters of the UN, the other headquarters being in New York, Broken Chair - a monumental sculpture in wood by the Swiss artist Daniel Berset, Red Cross building - Headquarters of International Committee of the Red Cross, WHO Building – Headquarters of World Health Organization.

Geneva – Paris (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Paris, France – city well known for its fashion. Upon arrival, we enjoy the city of Paris, during the city orientation tour we see Champs Elysees - the most famous avenue in the world. Champs-Elysées means ‘Elysian Fields’ which indicates that someone thought this street was heaven on earth, Place de la Concorde - one of the major public squares in Paris. It was the site of many notable public executions during the French Revolution, L’Arc De Triomphe - one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to celebrate his victory at Austerlitz.

Today we visit the Versailles palace – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, whose origins date back to the seventeenth century, was successively a hunting lodge, a seat of power and from the nineteenth century, a museum. Here we see the State apartments and the magnificent Hall of Mirrors. Later we pass by Louvre Museum. Further we get mesmerized by the amazing view of Paris city from the Top level of the Eiffel Tower. In the evening, we admire the iconic sights of Paris on a relaxing Seine river cruise.

Today we visit Disneyland- The happiest place on earth. It’s much more than a Theme Park. Here the Disney magic comes to life. Over 50 attractions offer magical experiences and exciting adventures for young and old alike. Upon arrival we experience endless fun. We enjoy various rides and shows like it’s a Small World, Mickey's philharmagic, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain etc. We also get a chance to meet our favourite cartoon characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy.

See you all! ‘Mumbai to Mumbai’ tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time and start their journey back home. 'Joining & Leaving' tour guests will proceed on their own to their scheduled departure destination, like an airport, railway station, bus terminal, or cruise terminal. Tour concludes. Please note: Airline: On group tours, we generally fly well-reputed airlines that are group-friendly. During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey. Transport: For transfers and sightseeing, we use mini coaches, big coaches, or small vans, depending on the respective tour group size. If you wish to have a separate vehicle solely for yourself or your family, it can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability. Sightseeing attraction: Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible. Hotels: The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. The category of hotels on international tours is a mix of three-star, three-star superior, and basic four-star. Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., depending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respective destination. Visa: Veena World takes maximum tourists from India to Europe through group tours, customised holidays and corporate tours (MICE). Every month Veena World Visa Facilitation Team of 80+ members assists thousands of our guests for visa documentation, visa application and submission to VAC/VFS/ consulate, collection of passports from the VAC/VFS/ consulate on guest’s behalf when applicable.However, all guests should be aware of the fact that ‘issuance or granting of visa to any guest’ is at the sole discretion of respective country’s consulates/embassy. Veena World does not play any role in the actual granting of the visa. Veena World cannot be held responsible for delay or rejection of the visa by the respective consulate. In the rare event of a visa delay or rejection, cancellation charges will apply as per the policy. We request all our guests to start the visa application process well in advance or immediately after the tour booking.

• As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
• Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
• It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
• A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
• Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
• If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
• For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
• Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

The Best of Europe

Overall, had a good time on the tour courtesy of our experienced and friendly tour director Zsolt and highly-skilled driver Antonio. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly, providing many insights into the places we visited and lots of good humour as well. Despite a few unexpected issues during the trip, they worked extremely hard after hours to resolve them and ensure no disruption for the tour group. This was first tour my wife and I have done and we felt it allowed us to see a lot of Europe in a short period of time, with the trade-off being some very early starts and late finishes. To make the most of the tour, to will need to book the optional excursions as probably half the time on location is spent in some form of optional excursion. We found some of the local guides that are required to be used in Italy were not as good at leading the group as the tour director, leading to some confusion at times on the excursions. A few of the hotels felt a bit underwhelming in terms of location, food or broken amenities which could be due to the recent reopening from COVID but given we mostly were exploring throughout the days/evenings, the main issue with this was that some of the breakfasts were a little sparse. Altogether we found the tour quite enjoyable, with highlights for us definitely being Lucerne, Venice and The Isle of Capri. We would consider doing future tours with Cosmos, but given the pace of this tour and the amount of travel involved, we would likely pick shorter regional ones and do a few less of the optional night excursions to allow more time to self-explore.

Mont Blanc Rambler

What a great introduction to the Mont Blanc circuit! We covered Northern half of the 170km circuit anticlockwise from Camoyeur, Italy to Chamonix in France The trip would have been perfect with hikers better vetted! There is a 15 min gap between the front and back of group sometimes! The guide was refreshing! I appreciate his introducing us the main food of each country everyday, different cheeses from each country, different meals,... the lunches were delicious! I put on weight despite the hike! The accommodation was a shock to me though! Unless you don’t mind bunking in with ten others, once with ten mattresses in the room! Better to get a twin room if you can . Apart from the two suggestions, the trip is perfect!

A Time to Remember

I love then I didn't need to plan anything like hotel reservations or car rentals or even where to go or see. Just show up at the time we were told and there we go

We had an amazing tour thanks to our tour leaders Bigornia and Eva. They were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable! Also, kudos to our wonderful drivers who made sure that we arrive safely in our destinations!

We were terribly disappointed with the location of most of our hotels on our recent trip. We were outside of the city listed on the original itinerary and would have to make special arrangements to reach tourist areas of interest or even restaurants. Often we arrived after shops and restaurants were closed. We were very unhappy with this and would discourage others from taking this tour.

Europe's Highlights with London

I loved the tour we went on. Gennaro our driver was amazing and Zsolt our guide was incredible! They made an excellent team. We got to see so many fun, interesting things. The only thing I would say is maybe mention hygiene on the bus. There were some people on the bus that either didn't wear deodorant or shower or both and it reaked! It was way too hot not to take a shower everyday and wear deodorant. I would also say that maybe people should have most of their excursions paid for ahead of time. I booked mine ahead. I felt sorry for Zsolt having so much paperwork and having to constantly change things for the optional excursions. I felt bad for him because some of the people were always complaining about something. Also they had an entitled mentality that they had to be in the front and would push past you the whole trip, as well as not show up on time. Overall this trip was amazing and things went really well. I would say it was a trip of a lifetime and I got to see so many highlights of things that i had only seen pictures of. So amazing!

From St. Paul's to St. Peter's

This tour was amazing! My only complaint was one hotel was far below the standard of the rest. I would Suggest including some of the excursions meals in the price as everyone loved them. Our tour director was a amazing! I will Definitely be using Cosmos again for another tour.

The tour is generally good. I wish though that more time are given to explore major places. Some places can be skipped already since there was nothing much to see.
