Beyond the colorful Chinatown Friendship Gate at 10th and Arch streets lies Philly’s vibrant Asian enclave, originally settled in the mid-19th century by Cantonese immigrants.

On any given day or night, Chinatown pulses with sensory pleasures, including fantastic food and an abundance of activities. Visitors can look forward to acclaimed chefs serving steaming platters of hand-stretched noodles seasonal street festivals the locally guided tours and more.

Stretching from Arch Street to Vine Street, and from 11th street to 8th Street, the neighborhood is packed end-to-end with restaurants and stores that represent Hong Kong, Cantonese, Fujianese, Northern Sichuan and Taiwanese cultures, with a sprinkling of Korean, Thai, Malaysian, Burmese, Vietnamese and American hipster thrown in for good measure.

Bus lines that stop in Chinatown include the 23, 47, 47M, 48, and 61. The Chinatown subway station conveniently stops at Race and N. 8th streets. Jefferson Station serves the area as well.

This travel agency has been here for quit some time and this would be our 3rd time using them (our family has used them a few times too!) They are very detailed when explaining everything from flights to hotels to any extra charges that may be associated with your chosen packages. We've booked a tour though China with them and is booking one for Japan now. They can also arrange for a bus to take you to and from the airport (in our case Newark) for an additional charge. And most importantly, they are very friendly and patient with my millions of questions!

This agency was super friendly very helpful with getting my visa to China and had the best rates. Thankful that they made it so easy. Tried getting one on my own and it was super confusing. Fantastic friendly staff!!! Thank you guys for all your help. Will definitely use them again!!!
