The boys are back with a brand new episode of The Grand Tour. This time, they are headed to Mauritania for their penultimate adventure – and viewers can watch it now!

In the latest episode, titled Sand Job, the trio will follow in the footsteps of the legendary Paris-Dakar rally, but they'll have to take on their adventure in modified sports cars.

It'll no doubt be an exciting episode, with Richard Hammond previously teasing a "surprise" for the episode.

Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com ahead of the launch, Hammond revealed: "There was there was a surprise arrival in [the] minefield, because it's [Mauritania] still on the red list in terms of travel, and the last thing you want in or near a minefield is a surprise.

'There was a scary encounter with some Ebola carrying bats. My car, the Aston Martin, was the troublesome one of the bunch because it comes from an era when cars were just becoming intelligent... and that gave me no end prompt. Plus, the guys just destroyed me as well. There was quite a bit of pranking."

When will the next episode of The Grand Tour be released?

James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond all stood in the desert with their hands on their hips

The next instalment of The Grand Tour became available to watch on Friday 16th February on Prime Video . It's out now!

The Grand Tour locations

The trio have previously filmed in far-flung locations such as Colombia, Vietnam and Switzerland - and next time will be no different.

The newest instalment will see the trio head back to Africa, as they have this time filmed the show in Mauritiana, a country in the Northwest of the continent.

Speaking of the location, Clarkson said: "I love deserts, so I've always wanted to do the Sahara, but it's difficult to go there; you can't go to Mali or Libya or Algeria or Chad. You can't go to the top of Nigeria.

"And then it was really a question of finding the most inappropriate cars for trans-Sahara travel, and I think we did a pretty good job on that."

Central to each episode is a “grand tour” adventure in which all three presenters push their chosen vehicles to the limit while navigating dramatic landscapes and taking on  tasks - often with hilarious and thrilling results. In one episode, Clarkson, Hammond, and May test their mutual longstanding faith in Jaguar engineering by attempting to cross rugged terrain in Colorado, each in a different model of Jaguar. Unsurprisingly, they encounter many mishaps along the way.

The show features other regular segments, too, encompassing car reviews, races, and speed tests, as well as lively in-studio discussions, games, and celebrity interviews. Season four, which is scheduled to have new episodes added in 2021, consists of special, feature-length instalments of epic automotive escapades in exotic places.

  • Trivia The pontoon bridge constructed by the National Pontoon Adventure Consultancy with some assistance from Clarkson, May and Hammond spanned around 1,000 feet from the coast near Griminish, North Uist to the nearby uninhabited tidal island of Vallay. The "spiky building" Clarkson suggests visiting with Hammond - supposedly the site of the fictitious town of Hammondsburg - is in real life Taigh Mòr, which in English means "Big House". The well-appointed Edwardian mansion boasted running water piped in from North Uist as well as fireplaces in every room. It was built in 1905 for Scottish textile manufacturer, historian and landscape photographer Erskine Beveridge, one of the heirs to the estate of an internationally-renowned tableware manufacturer. After his passing in 1920, the property was inherited by his son George, who drowned in 1944 while attempting to make the crossing from North Uist to Vallay at high tide. With no heirs, the mansion was abandoned soon after his death and its staff dismissed. In the three-quarters of a century since it has gradually become a ruin, and its story has been documented by Scottish-Indian writer, musician and academic Arun Sood, whose grandmother Katie MacNaughton was one of the last to leave the island.

"The Grand Tour" to return for farewell episode in 2024

C larkson, Hammond, and May are set to officially bid farewell to their program, "The Grand Tour," broadcast on Amazon, as reported by the BBC.

There's good news and bad news for fans. Good news: "The Grand Tour" will return in 2024. Bad news: this will be its final episode. The trio, who rose to fame through the BBC's "Top Gear," have continued their antics on "The Grand Tour," which has been available on Amazon since 2016.

While the initial seasons of "The Grand Tour" boasted a similar number of episodes to its predecessor “Top Gear," the series has recently been limited to sporadically published special productions. It appears that this was the beginning of the end for "The Grand Tour".

According to the BBC, which cited internal sources, a  special episode documenting a trip to Zimbabwe will be released in 2024 , marking the official end of "The Grand Tour".

Despite saying goodbye to "The Grand Tour," it doesn't mean that this popular trio will completely vanish from our screen. Each presenter has their own shows on Amazon's platform. As of now, these productions are set to continue.

It's worth noting that "Top Gear," the precursor to "The Grand Tour," is also seeing its end. Following Clarkson, May, and Hammond's departure, the BBC carried on with the series, introducing new presenters. However, this came to a halt in 2022, when one presenter, Freddie Flintoff, sustained serious injuries in an on-set incident. Nearly a year following the accident, the broadcaster announced its decision to discontinue the program.

Clarkson, Hammond, and May’s Grand Tour Tenure Is Coming to an End

The Grand Tour’s end comes just weeks after the BBC indefinitely shut down Top Gear.

The old Top Gear trio of Jeremy Clarkson , Richard Hammond, and James May will be hitting your screen as the hosts of The Grand Tour for the final time in 2024. The two final episodes have now been filmed, taking place in Mauritania and Zimbabwe, where the trio we've grown to love will close a chapter that's been three decades in the making.

“We’re done. I have reviewed cars on TV since 1989. That’s 34 years. And after next year, I won’t be doing that any more," Clarkson told The Times .

Since The Grand Tour launched in 2016, after Clarkson was fired from Top Gear for punching a producer, it's gone through several changes. First, it was essentially a Top Gear recreation, with celebrity interviews and an in-studio live show. Then they tightened it up by ditching the celebrity stuff. Eventually, they ditched the live show altogether and just made feature-length specials. And while none of The Grand Tour's iterations managed to capture the magic of Top Gear at its best , it was still one of the most watched shows on Amazon Prime . Millions of people tuned in to watch the automotive equivalent of the Three Stooges (and I mean that as a grand compliment).

<em>Getty</em>

All three hosts have their own projects to pursue outside of The Grand Tour anyway. Clarkson has his farm show and May has a travel show, both of which are also on Amazon Prime , while Hammond still does a lot of work for DriveTribe , while also presenting other TV programs. So they'll still be around, even though The Grand Tour won't be.

This news also comes just a couple of weeks after the BBC decided to indefinitely shut down Top Gear . After host Freddie Flintoff's accident during filming and the subsequent settlement, the BBC decided against renewing the show. Clarkson doesn't blame the most recent trio of Top Gear hosts for not wanting to return, either, specifically Flintoff.

"Richard Hammond was always keen to get back to work [following a crash], whereas Freddie isn’t," Clarkson told The Sun . "I don’t blame him. I know what happened on that awful day and it was horrific."

<em>Getty</em>

Clarkson even said that anyone who wants to take over in Flintoff's spot would come across as "heartless."

In a matter of weeks, the world learned that the two most entertaining car shows on TV are shutting down. We all knew this day was coming soon, as the original Top Gear gang are all either in their sixties or getting quite close, but it's still a little sad to see them go. Sure, their most recent work pales in comparison to the shows from their prime but, like most millennial car nerds, Clarkson, Hammond, and May made an indelible impression on me and the way I look at cars, and I'm sure I'm not alone on that one. Thanks for the memories, chaps.

The Grand Tour

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed why it’s the end of the road for The Grand Tour . Clarkson said he and co-hosts, James May and Richard Hammond, decided to quit the Amazon Prime Video show after running out of steam.

In an interview with The Times of London , Clarkson said it was becoming increasingly difficult to conjure up outlandish adventures for the show and that the presenters were all showing their age.

He added that The Grand Tour missions are “immensely physical” and had become increasingly difficult when “you’re unfit and fat and old.” “If you’re Bear Grylls you go to a hotel — there aren’t any hotels in the Sahara desert,” Clarkson said.

Clarkson, Hammond, and May confirmed last November that they had filmed their final installments of  The Grand Tour . Two final episodes of the motoring series were recorded in Mauritania and Zimbabwe and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

Fozia Khan, Amazon Studios’ head of unscripted in the UK, said the brand could survive with another set of presenters. “It’s come to its natural end,” she said, adding that her team was “thinking about” how the show can live on.

Clarkson will continue to host Clarkson’s Farm for Amazon after the series has become the streamer’s highest-rated UK original. Filming on Season 4 is set to begin this year. Clarkson is also hosting more Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? for ITV.

The Times interviewer Ed Potton wrote that he was told not to ask Clarkson about his reviled The Sun newspaper column about Meghan Markle. Clarkson wrote that he imagines the day Markle is paraded “naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.” The piece was retracted and Amazon made clear its fury at the article.

Asked if he feels under pressure to be controversial, Clarkson said: “No! I like being controversial. Some people who see a still pond find that peaceful, but I cannot resist throwing a stone in it.”

Although the series featured celebrities, most appeared in a minor capacity while others were mentioned or involved a look-alike - these appearances mainly were for a running gag involving them heading to meet the presenters in their tent for an interview, only to "die" in a freak accident.

Episode Guide

The tent is at the forests of Saariselkä. At the Port of London, Hammond welcomes the new right-hand-drive Ford Mustang GT and gives it a tour of London and Stonehenge before Clarkson arrives and proceeds to argue that Mustang has no place in Britain and that the Ford Focus RS is a better option. This escalates to a chase between both cars up to Cheddar Gorge. The Mustang beats the Focus in a drag race, but is slower around the Eboladrome.

In “Conversation Street”, Clarkson and May debate over which confectionery creates more mess in a car – a Flake or a Double Decker. A drunk Kimi Räikkönen arrives outside the tent for “Celebrity Brain Crash”, but collapses from drinking too much vodka and is left to die in the arctic temperatures.

To fill in the time, the presenters introduce their “Santaland Grotto”, where they talk about their Christmas gift ideas, mostly consisting of everyday items emblazoned with car-manufacturer logos. May introduces Bob Geldof via tablet on a Double telerobot.

Finally, May talks about the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans rivalry between Ford and Ferrari, which gave birth to the Ford GT40 and the Ferrari P3.

Eboladrome Lap Times

Ford Focus RS 1:28.4

Ford Mustang V8 1:29.6

0:00:22 – The cars in the titles this week are a Fisker Karma, a mk1 Porsche Boxster and a SAAB 900 Convertible. All were made down the road by the Valmet car factory in Uusikaupunki, Finland.

0:01:21 – Several 1970s cinema curtains were destroyed to make the presenters studio jackets this week.

0:06:46 – The Ford Mustand 5.0 V8 GT has a 5-litre V8 engine making 416 horsepower. It can go from 0-62 in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph.

0:07:39 – As James May would probably tell you, the massive clock on parliament pointed out by Richard in the Ford Mustang test isn’t actually called Big Bem. That’s the name of the bell inside. But everyone in Britain calls the whole thing Big Ben. Except James. Probably.

0:08:01 – The large monument Richard is unable to name in the Mustang test is Nelsons Column, built to commemorate British Navy big-wig and wide hat enthusiast Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson who saw off a French invasion at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, unfortunately getting killed to death in the process.

0:09:55 – the hillside drawing of a quite excited man is actually called the Cerne Abbas Giant and its very old so you can’t giggle at it because it’s historic.

0:10:43 – The Ford Focus RS has a 2.3-litre, four cylinder, turbocharged engine making 345 horsepower. It can go from 0-62 in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 165mph.

0:16:52 – The song Jeremy is singing in Conversation Street is a jingle from the Flake adverts in the 1970s and 80s. They featured attractive women in soft focus and not, strangely, a silly old man in a medium-sized tent.

0:20:20 – The British Institute of Car Chases is a private test facility and not public roads. Just in case you were wondering.

0:24:21 – Jeremy is right. Cheddar cheese comes from the village of Cheddar, Somerset, also home to this gorge.

0:25:10 – The pop-out plastic door protector strips that so impress Jeremy on the Focus RS are actually an optional extra. They cost £85.

0:25:58 – Line lock is very popular with American drag racing enthusiasts but quite a novelty in the UK. Its also unusual for a car to be fitted with it from the factory. Usually you have to put it on later.

0:28:37 – As tyre destruction enthusiasts will know, its quite unusual to be able to drift a four wheel drive car the way Jeremy does with the Focus RS.

0:29:58 – The American. Racer, raconteur, syrup enthusiast.

0:34:17 – Until two days before the Grant Tour arrived, there was no snow in this backdrop, rather spoiling the point of going to Lapland for Christmas. Then the weather changed. Phew.

0:34:49 – The Grand Tour tent doesn’t normally have windows at the back. They were specially installed to take advantage of the snowscape outside and make the grotto seem extra festive.

0:39:52 – Unfortunately, Grand Tour condoms will not be available to buy. Disagreement about sizing.

0:40:37 – Casualty – a British word for the emergency room. Or A&E. Basically, the bit of the hospital full of people going, Arrrgh, my knee.

0:44:54 – You might recognise Jeremy and Richards weird Christmas conversation. It was inspired by the lyrics to Bob Geldof’s Band Aid charity hit single, Do They Know Its Christmas?

0:47:03 – Enzo Ferrari always wrote in purple ink. Its said this was in memory of his father who used the purple-tinged aniline copying pencil.

0:48:05 – As well as being the home of Ford’s Le Mans ambitions, Slough later became the setting for the original UK version of the TV show The Office.

0:49:14 – The original Ford GT prototype was scrapped, but the design drawings were kept on file. This enabled construction of the perfect replica that James is driving here.

0:54:23 – Ferrari ultranerds will note that this car is whats known as the P3/4 rather than a pure P3. There are no P3s left in the world because during its working life each one was taken back to the workshop, given a modified engine, tail section and name, and turned into the evolved car you see here.

0:55:50 – John Surtees, 1964 Formula 1 world champion and winner of the Grand Prix motorcycle championship in 1956, 1958, 1959 and 1960, making him the only person ever to win the world championship for both bikes and cars.

Richard Hammond defends The Grand Tour being over-the-top

The grand tour: namibia special trailer, related posts, ‘funeral for a ford’ – the grand tour series 3 episode 14 preview, ‘survival of the fattest’ – the grand tour series 3 episode 13 preview, ‘legends and luggage’ – the grand tour series 3 episode 12 preview, james may is our man in…japan, ‘sea to unsalty sea’ – the grand tour series 3 episode 11 preview, ‘the youth vote’ – the grand tour series 3 episode 10 preview.

Episode 6 is genuinely awesome.

Christmas gift ideas was hilarious. Great to have it back from TG. Also May’s Ford GT 50th anniversary at Le Mans was just fantastic.

' src=

I get the feeling they are tempting the BBC a little to go after them. Probably they figure it is inevitable that the BBC will make some claim against them so they might as well push the limits a little as anything the BBC does not claim about is basically unprotected.

This episode was again one of the better ones. Loved the sombreros for connection street (again, a little reference to their escapades on TG). Also, the reference to being respectful around the cenotaph (take that TG!). Once again, ‘The American’ is a complete disappointment – it is not funny, or interesting. It would be funnier if they just muted him as he drove one week, then masked him the next week… then perhaps we just end up with a faceless racing driver who says nothing (take that TG!).

Great bit with the cheese…

' src=

Lol, the xmas present section was funny. When May said he had one with his personal catchphrase I thought it was going to be ‘Oh Cock’ regardless of the BBC xD

For this episode the tent is found in Saariselkä, Finland. They talk through all the racing drivers that come from Finland, joking that they are all anagrams. They also come to the conclusion that there are no famous Finnish women.

Hammond and Clarkson Compare The Mustang To The Focus RS

With the Ford Mustang coming to the UK, Hammond had to road test it so met the first car to arrive in the UK at the docks. He takes it straight to London to show it around, before taking it out of town to perform a proper road test.

Clarkson meets him with a Focus RS and sets out to explain that there is no need to buy a Mustang in Britain with the Focus RS available.

They race to Cheddar Gorge before the Mustang beats the RS in a drag race. It does however beat the Mustang on the Eboladrome with a time of 1:28.4 over the Mustang’s 1:29.6.

Conversation Street

The trio discuss Finnish speeding fines and how high they are. They also talk about how Volvo make the best car interiors by using pale colours. After the ice cream joke mentioned below, they compare the worse confectionary to eat in a car by testing them.

It’s Christmas!

The trio go through some of their favourite car related Christmas presents and some that they’ve made themselves before trying their luck on ride-on gadgets.

James Compares The Ford GT To The Ferrari P3

James drives both the Le Mans legends, the Ford GT and Ferrari P3 and talks through the history of Ford’s Le Mans victory. It’s a beautiful film full of history and gorgeous camera shots.

The episode concludes with Clarkson being jealous over the fact thats May drove a Ford GT40 when he hasn’t. They soon agree however, that this is because of Clarkson’s width.

Richard Hammond’s ‘Homophobic’ Ice Cream Joke

During a tent segment, Hammond explained how he doesn’t eat ice cream because he’s straight. When discussing a Volvo’s interior he said this:

“It’s all right, I don’t eat ice cream. It’s something to do with being straight.”

This started a media uproar with Amazon and Hammond being called homophobic.

Jeremy Clarkson

UPDATE: A virtual press conference for Jeremy Clarkson ‘s Amazon Prime Video series “Clarkson’s Farm” that was set to take place on Tuesday morning has been called off.

The event — which was scheduled before the presenter’s column about Meghan Markle was published in British tabloid The Sun in December — had still been on the cards in recent weeks, despite the ensuing controversy. However, it was canceled at 6 p.m. U.K. time on Monday , hours after Clarkson posted a fresh apology on Instagram, and Variety reported that Prime Video was set to part ways with the controversial figure.

“On Dec. 25, 2022, Mr. Clarkson wrote solely to Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. The contents of his correspondence were marked Private and Confidential. While a new public apology has been issued today by Mr. Clarkson, what remains to be addressed is his long-standing pattern of writing articles that spread hate rhetoric, dangerous conspiracy theories, and misogyny,” the statement reads. “Unless each of his other pieces were also written ‘in a hurry,’ as he states, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident shared in haste, but rather a series of articles shared in hate.”

EARLIER: Amazon Prime Video is likely to be parting ways with Jeremy Clarkson mere weeks after his comments about Meghan Markle were published in British tabloid The Sun.

Sources tell Variety that the streaming service won’t be working with Clarkson beyond seasons of “The Grand Tour” and “Clarkson’s Farm” that have already been commissioned. This means that the notorious “Top Gear” presenter likely won’t be appearing in any new shows on Prime Video beyond 2024 (though there’s every chance a final “Grand Tour” episode could carry over into 2025).

Prime Video already has a number of shows in the works with Clarkson, which are going to go ahead, but the decision effectively means that “Clarkson’s Farm” will end with Season 3 (expected in 2024). It also means that motoring format “The Grand Tour,” one of Prime Video’s biggest shows, will also come to an end. Variety understands the series will conclude after four more special episodes — the last of which is expected to land in late 2024.

Prime Video declined to comment on this story.

In a lengthy statement posted to his official Instagram on Monday afternoon, Clarkson says, “I really am sorry. All the way from the balls of my feet to the follicles on my head. This is me putting my hands up. It’s a mea culpa with bells on.”

The extensive apology for his December comments — in which Clarkson suggested Markle be made to “parade naked” through Britain while people “throw lumps of excrement at her” — comes a day ahead of a planned press conference for “Clarkson’s Farm.” (The promotional event for Season 2 of the show, launching on Feb. 10, was scheduled just days prior to Clarkson’s comments.)

“Usually, I read what I’ve written to someone else before filing, but I was home alone on that fateful day, and in a hurry,” wrote Clarkson. “So when I’d finished, I just pressed send. And then, when the column appeared the next day, the land mine exploded.

“It was a slow rumble to start with and I ignored it. But then the rumble got louder. So I picked up a copy of The Sun to see what all the fuss was about. We’ve all been there, I guess. In that precise moment when we suddenly realise we’ve completely messed up. You are sweaty and cold at the same time. And your head pounds. And you feel sick. I couldn’t believe what I was reading. Had I really said that? It was horrible.”

Clarkson also reveals in the statement that he emailed Markle and Prince Harry on Christmas morning to apologize to them. “I said I was baffled by what they had been saying on TV but that the language I’d used in my column was disgraceful and that I was profoundly sorry.”

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jeremy Clarkson (@jeremyclarkson1)

In Clarkson’s Dec. 16 column, titled “One day, Harold the glove puppet will tell the truth about A Woman Talking B*ks,” the former “Top Gear” presenter wrote of Markle: “I hate her. Not like I hate [Scottish National Party leader] Nicola Sturgeon or [British serial killer] Rose West. I hate her on a cellular level.”

He continued, referencing an infamous “Game of Thrones” scene involving Lena Headey’s Cersei: “At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.”

In the column, which Clarkson writes weekly for The Sun, he also suggested that Prince Harry has no “control” over his actions anymore, largely thanks to Markle.

Speaking with ITV in a promotional interview for his top-selling memoir “Spare,” Harry said the column was “horrific, hurtful and cruel towards my wife. It also encourages other people around the U.K. and around the world, particularly men, to go and think that it’s acceptable to treat women that way.”

The Sun column became the Independent Press Standards Organization’s most complained-about article since its formation in 2014. It drew almost 21,000 complaints. The Sun also made a rare apology, one full week after the article was published.

While Clarkson will remain on Prime Video for another two years, a move not to renew any of the presenter’s shows for the service would be a bold statement by the streamer.

Prime Video swooped for the original “Top Gear” team in 2015 after the BBC cut ties with Clarkson after the host punched one of the show’s producers. The parting of ways with Clarkson and co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May came at a great cost to the BBC, for which “Top Gear” was worth more than £50 million per year, and brought in a massive global audience. The show has continued on the broadcaster with hosts Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris.

Prime Video spun off “Top Gear” as “The Grand Tour,” which is now in its fifth and final season.

The Grand Tour Season 6 Release Date, News, Cast, Spoilers & What We Know So Far

Photo of Sarika Mathur

The Grand Tour Season 6 : The Grand Tour is a show about cars on Amazon Prime Video, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. The show features segments where the hosts review different kinds of cars, from new models to vintage classics, and also take on various challenges and races related to motoring. The show also has studio parts where the hosts talk between the pre-recorded films.

The show is very popular and well-received and is regarded as one of the best new shows on TV. The show has been renewed for a fifth season, which premiered on September 16, 2022, and consists of four episodes. The fifth season saw the trio head back to Africa, as they filmed the show in Mauritania, a country in the Northwest of the continent. The season also featured some of the most dangerous and adventurous challenges the hosts have ever faced, such as driving through a minefield, crossing a river full of crocodiles, and racing against a jet fighter. Here’s everything we know so far about the next season of The Grand Tour.

Overview of The Grand Tour Season 6

The table below provides an overview of the 6th season of The Grand Tour , including the release date, the number of episodes, the locations, and the main features.

The Grand Tour Season 6 Release Date

The Grand Tour season 6 is anticipated to be renewed, but the official status is still unknown. The show is very popular among fans and has a loyal following. The show also has a lucrative deal with Amazon Prime Video, which reportedly pays the hosts around $250 million for three years of the show. Therefore, it is very likely that the show will continue for at least another season.

Google News

However, some factors may delay or affect the production and release of the sixth season. One of them is the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has disrupted the filming and travel plans of many shows and movies. The Grand Tour is a show that relies heavily on traveling to different locations around the world, which may not be possible or safe in the current situation. The hosts and the crew may have to follow strict health and safety protocols, quarantine rules, and travel restrictions, which may limit their options and increase their costs.

Another factor is the age and health of the hosts. Clarkson, Hammond, and May are all in their 60s and have had some health issues in the past. Clarkson suffered from pneumonia in 2017, Hammond had a serious car crash in 2017 and another one in 2021, and May had a heart attack in 2019. The hosts have also admitted that they are not as fit and agile as they used to be and that some of the challenges they face are physically demanding and exhausting. They may have to consider their well-being and longevity and decide whether they want to continue doing the show or retire gracefully.

Therefore, it is hard to predict when the sixth season of The Grand Tour will be released, but we can assume that it will not be anytime soon. The show usually takes a long time to produce, edit, and release, and the pandemic and other factors may add to the delay. The best-case scenario is that the show will be renewed sometime in 2024, and the sixth season will be released in late 2024 or early 2025 . The worst-case scenario is that the show will be canceled or end after the fifth season, and the fans will have to say goodbye to the trio.

There is no trailer for the sixth season of The Grand Tour yet, as the show has not been renewed or filmed yet. However, we can expect a trailer to be released a few months before the premiere of the season, if and when it happens. The trailer will likely feature some glimpses of the locations, cars, challenges, and jokes that the season will offer. The trailer will also likely be posted on the official YouTube channel of The Grand Tour, as well as on the social media accounts of the hosts and the show.

There is not much news about the sixth season of The Grand Tour yet, as the show has not been renewed or filmed yet. However, there are some news and updates about the show and the hosts that may be of interest to the fans. Here are some of them:

  • The fifth season of The Grand Tour was released on September 16, 2022, and consisted of four episodes. The episodes were titled “The Grand Tour Presents: The Massive Hunt”, “The Grand Tour Presents: Lockdown”, “The Grand Tour Presents: Carnage A Trois”, and “The Grand Tour Presents: The Grand Tour”. The season received positive reviews from critics and fans and was praised for its humor, adventure, and chemistry among the hosts.
  • The hosts of The Grand Tour have been busy with other projects and activities besides the show. Clarkson has been hosting the quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, as well as running his farm and starring in a documentary series called Clarkson’s Farm. Hammond has been hosting a science show called Richard Hammond’s Workshop, as well as working on his own car restoration company and starring in a documentary series called The Great Escapists. May has been hosting a cooking show called Oh Cook!, as well as working on his own travel and culture show called Our Man in Japan and starring in a documentary series called James May: The Reassembler.
  • The hosts of The Grand Tour have also been involved in some controversies and scandals in the past year. Clarkson was accused of breaking COVID-19 rules by hosting a large gathering at his farm, as well as making some offensive and insensitive remarks about various topics. Hammond was criticized for crashing a classic car during a race, as well as making some sexist and homophobic jokes. May was mocked for his poor cooking skills and his lack of knowledge about Japanese culture.

The Grand Tour Season 6 Spoilers

There are no spoilers for the sixth season of The Grand Tour yet, as the show has not been renewed or filmed yet. However, we can speculate and guess what the season may entail, based on the previous seasons and the preferences of the hosts. Here are some possible spoilers for the sixth season of The Grand Tour:

  • The season may feature some new and exotic locations that the hosts have not visited before, such as South America, Australia, New Zealand, or Antarctica. The hosts may also revisit some of their favorite or memorable locations from their past shows, such as Vietnam, Botswana, or Argentina.
  • The season may feature some new and exciting cars that the hosts have not driven before, such as electric cars, hypercars, supercars, or concept cars. The hosts may also drive some of their own or personal cars, such as Clarkson’s Lamborghini, Hammond’s Morgan, or May’s Ferrari.
  • The season may feature some new and challenging tasks and races that the hosts have not done before, such as off-road driving, rally driving, drag racing, or endurance racing. The hosts may also compete in some of their classic or signature challenges, such as car football, amphibious cars, or caravan racing.
  • The season may feature some new and hilarious jokes and pranks that the hosts will play on each other, such as sabotaging their cars, giving them wrong directions, or making them wear ridiculous outfits. The hosts may also make fun of each other’s personalities, habits, or preferences, such as Clarkson’s arrogance, Hammond’s height, or May’s slowness.

The episode concluded with a race around the streets of Ljubljana, where the hosts had to avoid crashing into each other and the pedestrians. The winner was Hammond, who managed to cross the finish line first, followed by May and Clarkson. However, as they celebrated their victory, they were surrounded by a mob of angry Slovenians, who were unhappy with their reckless driving and the damage they caused to the city. Australian GP weather forecast: Mixed conditions expected in Melbourne

Australian GP weather forecast: Mixed conditions expected in Melbourne

grand tour season 6 episode 1

Formula 1 is back in its traditional Friday-Sunday slot for the first time in 2024 this weekend...depending on what time zone you find yourself in.

The F1 circus rolls into Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix, marking the third round of the record-breaking 24-race season. The opening two races were a masterclass in control from Red Bull, with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez securing dominant 1-2 finishes in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Can they continue their streak, or will the iconic Albert Park circuit throw up a surprise?

One factor that could play a role is the weather. Here's a look at the forecast for the Australian Grand Prix weekend:

READ MORE: Mercedes chief notes MISTAKE in F1 regulations

Australian Grand Prix weather forecast

Friday, March 22: FP1 & FP2

Friday's opening practice sessions (FP1 and FP2) look set for ideal conditions. Clear skies and a light breeze, with temperatures ranging from 66-71 degrees, will provide a perfect platform for teams to gather crucial data and fine-tune their car setups. However, things could get a little more interesting on Saturday.

Saturday, March 23: FP3 & Qualifying

Sunny intervals with a similar light breeze are still on the cards for FP3 and qualifying, but a small chance of rain emerges later in the afternoon, potentially spicing up the crucial qualifying session.

With a 14% chance of precipitation, teams will need to be adaptable and ready to switch to wet-weather setups if necessary. This could throw a strategic curveball, adding a touch of unpredictability to the grid order.

Sunday, March 24: Race Day

The biggest question mark lies with the race itself on Sunday. The forecast predicts a partly cloudy day with light rain, a 70-degree temperature, 50% humidity, and a 10% chance of precipitation. Also, expect a gentle breeze from the south south west when the cars are out on the track.

However, keep an eye on the latest forecasts, as the weather can change in the lead-up to race day.
